Abstract

Bangka Belitung is one of the archipelagic provinces that has a lot of natural tourism potential. The position of the province which is surrounded by the ocean makes many local people have a hobby of fishing, as evidenced by the many livelihoods and fishing shops that are spread, one of which is on Gelasa Island, Batu Beriga Village. Gelasa Island is one of the small islands located in the Province of the Bangka Belitung Islands, especially in Central Bangka Regency. This natural potential which is very much but still unexplored is one of the opportunities to be developed into a tourist attraction, such as fishing tourism. This service is focused on Pokdarwis and the Batu Beriga Village Fisherman Group. This activity aims to promote and develop the tourism aspect of fishing tourism activities on Gelasa Island, Batu Beriga Village, to become a mainstay tourist attraction on Bangka Island. The problem-solving methods used include: a) conducting a centralized group discussion (Focus Group Discussion), b) counseling and assistance in the preparation of tour packages, c) making media for socialization and marketing of glass island tour packages. From the implementation of this activity, participants received knowledge and guidance on the management of fishing tourism objects and tourism business management, as well as the formation of several tour packages on Gelasa Island, Batu Beriga Village.

Abstract

Wabah virus covid19 berdampak pada banyak sektor, salah satunya ekonomi. Masyarakat dihimbaukan untuk menggunakan masker berbahan kain karena permintaan untuk masker medis diutamakan untuk tenaga kesehatan. Pembuatan masker kain relatif mudah dan bisa menghemat biaya, serta bisa digunakan sebagai sebuah inovasi ekonomi kreatif. Kegiatan KKN Universitas Muhammadiyah Bangka Belitung Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk: (1) memberikan wawasan dan pengetahuan baru kepada karang taruna di Desa Penyamun dalam pelatihan pembuatan masker dalam keadaan masih pandemic covid19 sekarang ini (2) membuat masyarakat lebih banyak menggunakan masker ketika bisa membuatnya sendiri dan bisa menjadikannya nilai jual sehingga menambahkan penghasilan (3) mengetahui respon karang taruna terhadap pelatihan pembuatan masker tersebut. Metode kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini menggunakan metode demontrasi, tanya jawab, latihan dan evaluasi diakhir. Pelatihan ini di laksanakan oleh KKN Universitas Muhammadiyah Bangka Belitung bekerjasama dengan karang taruna Desa Penyamun dengan jumlah peserta 10 orang diharapkan dapat disalurkan kepada masyarakat agar permasalahan tidak menggunakan masker di masa covid19 ini berkurang. Hasil pelatihan pembuatan masker kain di Desa Penyamun adalah (1) hasil evaluasi terhadap masker kain yang dibuat secara umum termasuk baik dengan rata-rata keberhasilan 85%, (2) Respon karang taruna terhadap pelaksanaan pelatihan pembuatan masker kain sangat bait, dilihat dari antusiasnya dalam mengikuti pelatihan, dan kehadiran 100% serta keseriusan mengikuti pelatihan sampai berakhir.

Abstract

The issue underlying this study is the low learning outcomes of students in the topic of rights and obligations, which is caused by the limited variation in teaching models, leading to students being less engaged and easily bored during learning activities. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the impact of the Picture and Picture model on the learning outcomes of third-grade students at UPTD SDN 29 Mendo Barat. This study adopts a quantitative approach using the Pre-Experimental Design method with a One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The sample in this study consists of all third-grade students at UPTD SDN 29 Mendo Barat. The data collection process used essay questions, and the data evaluation method employed the Shapiro-Wilk Normality Test for normality testing and the Wilcoxon Signed-Rank Test for hypothesis testing. The results of the study show a significant effect on the Pretest and Posttest outcomes. The normality test calculation for the Pretest was 0.053 > 0.05, and for the Posttest, it was 0.004 < 0.05, indicating that the data was not normally distributed. Therefore, hypothesis testing was conducted using the Wilcoxon Signed-Rank Test. The result of the hypothesis test was 0.000 < 0.05, meaning H_a was accepted and H_o was rejected. Thus, it can be concluded that the Picture and Picture model has an impact on the learning outcomes of third-grade students on the topic of rights and obligations at UPTD SDN 29 Mendo Barat.
