Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to identify the impacts of applying project-based learning in English as Spesicic Purposes (ESP) classes in Islamic higher education. This research was held in the department of Family Law, Shariah and Law, State Islamic University Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta. The study conducted a qualitative approach to explore students learning process. A semi-structured interview, class observation, and a test were used to collect the data of 40 student participants. The interpretation process and coding were conducted to analyse the data. The finding revealed ESP through PBL succeed to improve 87.5% of students in their English achievement. The PBL process also encouraged students in learning discipline and motivated them to solve the learning problems.AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi dampak penerapan pembelajaran berbasis proyek di kelas English as Spesicic Purposes (ESP) di perguruan tinggi Islam. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Jurusan Hukum Keluarga, Syariah dan Hukum, Universitas Islam Negeri Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan pendekatan kualitatif untuk mengeksplorasi proses belajar siswa. Wawancara semi terstruktur, observasi kelas, dan tes digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data dari 40 siswa peserta. Proses interpretasi dan pengkodean dilakukan untuk menganalisis data. Temuan tersebut mengungkapkan ESP melalui PBL berhasil meningkatkan 87,5% siswa dalam prestasi bahasa Inggris mereka. Proses PBL juga mendorong siswa dalam kedisiplinan belajar dan memotivasi mereka untuk memecahkan masalah pembelajaran.

Abstract

Jenis penelitian adalah Pre-Experimental yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui (1) hasil belajar IPA sebelum penerapan model Problem Based Learning kelas V SD Negeri 25 Panaikang Kabupaten Bantaeng, (2) hasil belajar iPA setelah penerapan model Problem Based Learning kelas V SD Negeri 25 Panaikang Kabupaten Bantaeng, (3) pengaruh model Problem Based Learning terhadap hasil belajar IPA Kelas V SD Negeri 25 Panaikang Kabupaten Bantaeng. Sampel penelitian yaitu seluruh siswa kelas V SDN 25 Panaikang, Kabupaten Bantaeng sebanyak 23 orang. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah instrument tes hasil belajar dan lembar observasi. Dari hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa: (1) Hasil belajar IPA Sebelum (Pre-Test) Penerapan Model Problem Based Learning Kelas V SD Negeri 25 Panaikang Kabupaten Bantaeng menunjukan bahwa rata-rata nilai untuk sebesar 60 dengan kategori Kurang Baik, (2) Hasil Belajar IPA Setelah (Post-Test) penerapan model Problem Based Learning kelas V SD Negeri 25 Panaikang Kabupaten Bantaeng. menunjukan bahwa rata-rata nilai untuk sebesar 60 dengankategoriSangat Baik.(3) nilai bahwa thitung (t0) = 49,7 > dari t tabel yakni 2,07. Jadi, H0 di tolak dan Ha di terima, artinya Model Problem Based Learning Terhadap Hasil Belajar IPA Kelas V SD Negeri 25 Panaikang Kabupaten Bantaeng. Artinya bahwa dengan penggunaan Model Problem Based Learning pada pembelajaran IPA sangat berpengaruh terhadap Hasil Belajar peserta didik karena peserta didik akan lebih bersemangat dan mudah memahami materi yang diajarkan oleh guru, dengan begitu hasil belajar peserta didik juga akan meningkat.

Abstract

The long-lasting conflict between the Indonesian administration and GAM ended in 2004. Yet, while the fighting came to an end, the residue and fragments of the conflict remained. The attempt to reconcile with violence and trauma is best captured through the works of contemporary Acehnese writers. Among other works of fiction, the novel writers try to express what the conflict meant for the Acehnese people. To this end, the current article is aimed at exploring Acehnese representations of violence and trauma through the metaphorical and symbolic meaning of ‘night’ in five contemporary Acehnese novels. This paper demonstrates the way the Acehnese contemporary writers represent the violence and trauma through the metaphor of ‘night’. Qualitative content analysis was used to reduce, narrow, and categorize the words, phrases, or paragraphs extracted from the novels. The data was analyzed by a post-conflict approach. The novels reveal kinds of violence and trauma through the imagery of ‘night’ highlighting multi-layered experiences during the conflict and bring the concept of postcoloniality through their writing. The five novels have tried to bring into play the ‘unfinished business’ of post-conflict Aceh. The novels also highlight the role of contemporary Acehnese novels in post-conflict societies. The disappeared left buried or unburied, the violence, the unresolved trauma, the continuing inequalities and injustices, and the struggle during the conflict means that the Aceh of the past haunts and disturbs the Aceh of the present.

Abstract

Various factors influence students in further study abroad with scholarships, including motivation, social, cultural, educational, economic, and efforts that have been or can be made. This community service is carried out with the aim of describing and expressing the various motivations, factors and efforts that have been and will be made in preparing to study abroad on a scholarship. The service method is carried out using a qualitative descriptive approach using the APTE model (situation analysis, training, action and evaluation). The service carried out with inspirational class education on tips for success in overseas scholarships has high motivation to continue studying abroad due to need, sufficient supporting factors such as family, society and the economy, and the efforts made are still low in searching for information, preparing documents, and following the requirements so that adequate intensity of guidance and training is still needed from families, teachers and the school. The implementation of inspiration class education runs well and smoothly using the APTE model. The evaluation referred to in this training consists of initial evaluation, implementation evaluation (process), and final evaluation in the form of training participant responses with good results.

Abstract

Kondisi pandemi saat ini memungkinkan dosen pembimbing proposal skripsi untuk memaksimalkan pembimbingan secara daring. Namun, dalam kenyataannya tidak semua dosen pembimbing mampu memaksimalkan pembimbingan melalui daring baik secara sinkronus maupun asinkronus, seperti e-learning, google drive, whatsApp, zoom meeting, dan google meet. Penelitian ini bertujuan menggambarkan peningkatan penulisan proposal skripsi mahasiswa melalui model e-genre based learning dalam pembimbingan proposal skripsi mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Bahasa Indonesia JPBS FKIP Universitas Bengkulu Semester VIII. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model e-genre based learning telah mampu meningkatkan kualitas proposal menulis mahasiswa dengan baik (77%) dalam penyelesaian proposalnya pada setiap bagian proposalnya, baik pada bagian pendahuluan, kajian pustaka, maupun metodologi penelitian, yaitu rata-rata peningkatannya sebesar 24%. Hal yang paling dominan terjadi peningkatan dalam menulis proposal mahasiswa ini, yaitu tahap penulisan teks secara mandiri dan secara bersama-sama, tetapi tahap pembanguan konteks dan pemodelan teks sangat menentukan keberhasilan mahasiswa dalam menulis proposal pada tahap pengembangan model berikutnya baik secara sinkronus maupun asinkronus. Abstract

Rendahnya kemampuan menulis karya tulis ilmiah di kalangan siswa Kota Bengkulu yang mengikuti Olimpiade Penelitian Siswa Indonesia (OPSI) dan sebagian besar siswa kesulitan merumuskan latar belakang penelitian, menyusun rumusan masalah, menentukan metodologi, serta menggunakan bahasa akademik yang tepat. Kondisi ini menegaskan kebutuhan mendesak akan program pendampingan yang mampu membimbing siswa menulis penelitian secara sistematis, terstruktur, dan sesuai dengan kaidah akademik.Tujuan dari pengabdian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kemampuan menulis ilmiah siswa melalui pendekatan Genre Based Learning (GBL). Metode pengabdian menggunakan metode pendampingan model Genre Based Learning yang menekankan pada pembelajaran berbasis teks. Tahapan pengabdian kegiatan meliputi perencanaan, pelaksanaan, evaluasi, dan pelaporan. Adapun teknik analisis data menggunakan teknik analisis, identifikasi, interpretasi, dan menarik Kesimpulan. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan dalam kemampuan menulis ilmiah siswa, struktur penulisan, dan penggunaan bahasa akademik. Siswa juga menunjukkan partisipasi lebih aktif, keberanian berdiskusi, dan kemauan mengkritisi data penelitian. Pemanfaatan teks mentor terbukti efektif membantu siswa memahami pola penulisan ilmiah, sedangkan kegiatan joint construction memberi kesempatan untuk memperoleh bimbingan langsung. Kendala teknis seperti keterbatasan jaringan internet pada sesi daring dapat diatasi melalui pertemuan tatap muka. Implementasi program ini siswa lebih siap menghadapi OPSI dengan laporan penelitian yang memenuhi standar akademik, sekaligus menumbuhkan motivasi dan rasa percaya diri.

Abstract

This study aims to understand the students' perceptions towards the implementation of English language material for early childhood based on project-based learning. This research was a qualitative descriptive study. The method used in this research is the survey method. The subject of this study was a student of the 6th semester at English Language Education who took TEYL courses at FTT UIN FAS Bengkulu. There were 26 (twenty-six) students in the sample for the research. In collecting the data, the researcher used a questionnaire about students' perceptions towards the implementation of project-based learning in designing English learning material for early childhood education. The result of the research clearly showed that project-based learning has a significant impact on student performance in designing English learning material for early childhood education. Abstract

The purpose of this study was (1) to find out the physics learning outcomes of students who were taught using the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) cooperative learning model in class XI SMA Negeri 2 Makassar. (2) to find out the physics learning outcomes of students who are taught without using the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) cooperative learning model in class XI SMA Negeri 2 Makassar. (3) to analyze the effectiveness of Teams Games Tournament type cooperative learning model application on the physics learning outcomes of students in class XI SMA Negeri 2 Makassar. This type of research is a quasi-experimental design with nonequivalent control group design using descriptive statistical analysis techniques and inferential statistical analysis. The descriptive research results obtained an average physics learning result in class XI IPA-6 which was taught using the Teams Games Tournament type cooperative learning model of 85.50 and was in the Very Good category, while the average student learning outcomes in class XI IPA-7 taught without using the Teams Games Tournament type cooperative learning model of 79.25 are in the Good category. Based on the results of inferential statistical analysis using hypothesis testing (Independent samples t-test) SPSS data processing obtained Sig = 0.000, it can be concluded that Ho is rejected and H1 is accepted because sig (2-tailet) < α or (0.000 < 0.05 ), thus it can be concluded that there is a significant difference in student physics learning outcomes between classes taught with the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) cooperative learning model and classes taught without the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) cooperative learning model.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk menguatkan identitas dan kemandirian desa melalui edukasi berbasis potensi lokal di Desa Bonto Kio, Kecamatan Minasatene, Kabupaten Pangkep. Permasalahan yang dihadapi masyarakat meliputi rendahnya pemahaman terhadap potensi lokal, lemahnya kesadaran identitas desa, serta tingginya ketergantungan ekonomi terhadap pihak luar. Kondisi tersebut menunjukkan adanya kesenjangan antara potensi desa yang tersedia dan kemampuan masyarakat dalam mengelolanya secara mandiri. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan menggunakan pendekatan partisipatif dengan tahapan identifikasi dan survei awal, pelatihan dan workshop, serta pendampingan dan evaluasi. Pendekatan pemberdayaan masyarakat berbasis potensi lokal diterapkan dengan melibatkan masyarakat secara aktif dalam setiap tahapan kegiatan. Peserta kegiatan terdiri atas aparatur desa, tokoh masyarakat, pelaku usaha lokal, dan perwakilan masyarakat Desa Bonto Kio. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan pengetahuan, sikap, dan partisipasi masyarakat dalam mengenali serta mengelola potensi lokal desa. Masyarakat mulai memahami pentingnya identitas dan kearifan lokal sebagai aset pembangunan serta menunjukkan peningkatan motivasi dan kepercayaan diri. Tingkat ketercapaian kegiatan berada pada kategori cukup tinggi dengan rata-rata capaian sekitar 77–80 persen. Kegiatan ini berkontribusi dalam mengisi kesenjangan praktik pemberdayaan desa dengan menekankan penguatan identitas desa sebagai fondasi kemandirian yang berkelanjutan.
