Abstract

Ports have the role of being a meeting point between transportation and interests in it which include services to ships, passengers, and cargo. In order to strive for the best service, it is necessary to evaluate passenger services at the port. In evaluating the level of passenger service at the Nusantara Pura II Tanjung Priok passenger ship terminal, using the Importance Performance Analysis (IPA) method, it was found that there was an increase in service and service performance flow for passenger ship facilities at the Tanjung Priok port terminal on 15 facility attributes, and resulted in customer satisfaction scores. to service facilities, namely "SATISFACTORY".

Abstract

Sea Highway is a program for the Implementation of Public Service Obligations for Port-to-Port Sea Transport of Goods from and to 3TP (Disadvantaged, Remote, Outermost, and Border) areas that are not yet served by commercial sea transport, the performance of the Sea Toll Road recorded positive growth which was marked by the continued increase in the number of annual cargoes and the number of ports of call as well as the number of route services which were quite large and the high demand for sea toll vessel services to the regions was not commensurate with the large number of goods offered as return cargo. Sea toll vessels are still a major problem. Because there are still many superior products produced in the 3TP area that do not meet requirements, backloading is always a major problem in the Sea Highway program. Commodity price disparity is a complex and significant economic phenomenon that affects national market stability. This study aims to analyze commodity price disparity trends from 2021 to 2023 with a focus on factors that influence price fluctuations, the global the national, commodity fuel price fluctuations, logistics costs, the number and type of ships available, bad weather, demand and supply imbalances. The analytical methods used include collecting secondary data from various literature sources and commodity price reports basic goods and important goods as well as a descriptive approach to describe commodity price patterns and dynamics. Bapokting stability which is an effort to reduce commodity price disparities, this study investigates the important role of basic goods and important goods stabilization in the context of reducing commodity price differences between regions. Policy and regulatory methods issued by regulatory bodies can affect commodity price stability, for example in managing commodity markets to support a sustainable reduction in commodity price disparities

Abstract

Perkembangan kota terjadi ketika fasilitas yang tersebar di suatu wilayah menjadi pusat kegiatan baru. Hal ini seiring dengan pembangunan sistem jaringan transportasi terencana yang dapat memberikan manfaat terhadap pergerakan lancar dan menguntungkan bagi pertumbuhan ekonomi daerah karena ketersediaan jaringan transportasi yang memadai. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis permasalahan transportasi di perkotaan sebagai solusi dalam mengurangi kemacetan lalu lintas, mengurangi tingkat kerusakan jalan akibat beban berlebihan, biaya tinggi, dan waktu lama terbuang. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan sumber data diperoleh dari sumber data primer dan sekunder, kemudian dianalisis berdasarkan teori yang akan digunakan dalam mengembangkan sarana transportasi baru sebagai solusi serta alternatif dalam mengatasi dan mengurangi kemacetan lalu lintas dengan menggunakan media sungai dan kanal sebagai alur penghubung ke tempat aktivitas. Metode ini bergantung pada bagaimana sungai dan kanal digunakan untuk pergerakan kendaraan, seberapa baik jaringan jalan melayani, di mana area tertentu digunakan sebagai simpul pelayanan, dan di mana ada kemacetan lalu lintas. Sebagaimana ditunjukkan oleh hasil penelitian, masalah yang paling mencolok adalah masalah transportasi di Kota Makassar, terutama tingkat kemacetan. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini diharapkan dapat mengintegrasikan sistem jaringan dan kegiatan masyarakat yang memudahkan pergerakan masyarakat sehingga mengurangi penggunaan kendaraan pribadi menuju pusat transit perkotaan untuk pergi ke tempat aktivitas. Sistem transportasi perkotaan ini menghubungkan beberapa area perumahan sehingga memudahkan sampai ke jalan-jalan utama untuk melanjutkan kegiatannya. Sungai dan kanal di Kota Makassar berpotensi untuk dibangun sebagai jalur transportasi penumpang dan barang dengan kapal kayu, fiber, atau speedboat, serta tongkang untuk mengangkut material.

Abstract

A well-thought-out, well-integrated operator of freight and passenger transportation with a wide clientele that can benefit both the service users and the overall framework of the transportation system. In this study, Makassar City's freight and passenger transportation services are modeled as urban transportation. In order to develop an integrated service model, this kind of research uses qualitative data that is then theoretically examined. According to the study's findings, using the Tallo River as a transportation route will improve the performance of goods and passenger transportation services while reducing road load. According to research, this model can affect how much traffic there is on the road, how quickly services are provided, how much it costs, and how each place the transportation system travels through develops.

Abstract

Supply chain efficiency is a key factor for companies in maintaining competitiveness and operational sustainability. CV Bandar Bahari, a provider of marine safety equipment, faces challenges arising from fluctuating demand for life jackets and other maritime safety products, which affect productivity and operational performance. This study aims to analyze supply chain performance, identify customer expectations in improving supply chain effectiveness, and formulate strategies for sustainable productivity improvement. This research employs a mixed-method approach with a case study design at CV Bandar Bahari. Qualitative data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation studies involving internal parties directly engaged in supply chain activities, while quantitative data were obtained through questionnaires distributed to customers and supply chain partners. Data analysis was conducted using Interpretative Phenomenological Analysis (IPA) for qualitative data, as well as the Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) and Importance–Performance Analysis (IPA) for quantitative data. The findings indicate that supply chain performance continues to face several constraints, including predominantly manual work systems, suboptimal technology utilization, limited human resources, and constraints in order picking and delivery due to route availability, resulting in longer lead times. This study emphasizes the importance of technology integration and human resource capacity development, including the management of environmental impacts. The proposed strategies focus on strengthening human resources and enhancing technology integration to achieve a sustainable supply chain management system at CV Bandar Bahari.

Abstract

Timely distribution of Palm Kernel (PK) is critical for maintaining Free Fatty Acid (FFA) levels and supply chain stability, yet logistical inefficiencies persist in the Indonesian palm oil sector. This study empirically investigates the determinants of shipment delays within the trucking logistics framework of a major Palm Oil Mill in Central Kalimantan from 2022 to 2024. Utilizing a mixed-methods approach, the research integrates historical shipment data (N=119), field observations, and linear regression analysis to evaluate six potential delay factors. The findings reveal a 23.5% delay rate over the three-year period, with 'Long Holidays' (religious festivals) and 'Weather/Road Conditions' identified as the most significant predictors of lateness, particularly in 2024 where holidays showed a dominant regression coefficient (β=0.962). Unlike previous studies focusing solely on infrastructure, this research highlights a shift toward seasonal operational constraints and transporter performance. The study implies that technical fleet upgrades are insufficient without adaptive scheduling strategies. Consequently, implementing predictive logistics planning around seasonal events and real-time infrastructure monitoring is recommended to mitigate delays, offering a practical framework for enhancing supply chain resilience in the tropical agricultural industry.

Abstract

Permasalahan utama pada Pelabuhan Cirebon adalah masih kurangnya alat-alat yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan kapal. Kurangnya kepedulian masyarakat dan fokus pemerintah terhadap pengembangan Pelabuhan Cirebon serta masih kurangnya pelayanan terhadap sisi operasional.  Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui proyeksi permintaan jasa kepelabuhanan dan cara pengembangan pelabuhan Cirebon untuk jangka  pendek agar dapat memenuhi kebutuhan jasa kepelabuhan dan produksi angkutan laut. Metode penelitian menggunakan  analisis fishbone, untuk menentukan penyebab terjadinya defect dan waste dengan diagram  sebab-akibat dan analisis SWOT. Beberapa temuan kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah, model pengembangan yang diusulkan untuk pelabuhan Cirebon yaitu mengembangkan pelabuhan dengan tipe yang lebih modern. Pada analisis kuadran SWOT didapatkan pelabuhan Cirebon ada pada posisi kuadran III, perlu dilakukan strategi baru untuk upaya  pengembangan pelabuhan agar lebih efisien dan bisa menampung kapal yang relatif banyak dibandingkan dengan sebelumnya. Sedangkan temuan kuncinya adalah melalui strategi pengembangan jangka pendek sangat diperlukan untuk mengatasi pelabuhan Cirebon.
