Abstract

This community service program (PKM) aims to assist "Guru Penggerak" in Bandung in developing interactive multimedia-based learning media using the Articulate Storyline 3 application. The use of interactive multimedia-based learning media is expected to improve the effectiveness of the learning process and student engagement. The activities involve several stages, including basic training, hands-on practice, technical assistance, and evaluation of the results. The results of this activity show an increase in the ability of "Guru Penggerak" to use Articulate Storyline 3 to create more attractive and interactive learning materials. Additionally, this program strengthens the teachers' competence in utilizing educational technology in line with the development of the digital era.

Abstract

The lack of motivation to learn leads to students showing less enthusiasm in their learning process. Therefore, the author is interested in implementing the Ice Breaking technique. The main objective of this study was to examine the impact of the applied Ice Breaking technique. The research adopted a quasi-experimental approach and was conducted at SD Negeri 255 Griya Bumi Antapani, Bandung City, targeting third-grade students with a total population of 105. The sampling method employed was purposive sampling, where 20 students each were selected from both Class III-B (control group) and Class III-C (experimental group), resulting in a total of 40 students in both control and experimental classes. The results of the homogeneity test indicated that there were homogeneous data variants and samples after the treatment. Data for the study were collected using a questionnaire. The findings of the research revealed the following: There is a significant influence of using the Ice Breaking technique on the learning motivation of third-grade students at SD Negeri 255 Griya Bumi Antapani, Bandung City, during the 2021/2022 academic year. This conclusion is supported by the outcomes of the Independent Sample T Test, which showed a Sig. (2-tailed) value of 0.000, indicating that it is less than 0.05. As a result, the null hypothesis (Ho) was rejected, and the alternative hypothesis (Hα) was accepted. The average motivation score of the experimental class was 81.60, which is higher than the control class's average score of 61.75.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the lack of innovation in mathematics lessons with the use of learning models that cause students to lack understanding of mathematics and students' lack of response in paying attention as evidenced by the low level of student understanding in learning mathematics. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect and increase in understanding of mathematics learning between the control class which was given conventional learning treatment and the experimental class which was given the discovery learning model treatment on increasing elementary school students' understanding of mathematics. This research is a quasi-experimental research with the research design used is nonequivalent control group desgin. The samples in this study were fifth grade students of SD N 1 Langensari consisting of 2 classes, namely V A control class and V B experimental class with a total of 50 students. Data collection techniques in the study used tests and observations. The pretest and posttest tests given to the research sample classes were in the form of the same questions and comprehension observation sheets. After the test data was obtained, the researcher analyzed the data and showed that the average posttest in the experimental class was higher than the control class. In addition, the analysis was carried out with the Independent Sample Test test with the help of the SPSS 16 application, obtained the sig value. (2-tailed) of 0.000 <0.05. Ngain test was conducted, obtained an average value of 0.72> 0.7 has a high effect. So it can be concluded that the effect of the discovery learning model on mathematical understanding is higher than the conventional class.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh banyaknya siswa SDN Cipancur yang masih belum memahami pemahaman konsep IPAS karena model pembelajaran dan media pembelajaran yang tidak sesuai sehingga menyebabkan siswa mengalami kesulitan dalam memahami materi IPAS. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui Pengaruh Model Problem Based Learning berbantuan Canva Terhadap Kemampuan Pemahaman Konsep IPAS Siswa Kelas V SD. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode quasy eksperimen dan desain Nonquivalent Control Group Desaign. Populasi yang diambil dalam penelitian ini yaitu seluruh siswa kelas V SDN Cipancur sebanyak 52 siswa, terdiri dari dua kelas VA sebagai kelompok eksperimen dan kelas VB sebagai kelompok kontrol. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, Terdapat perbedaan rata-rata kemampuan pemahaman konsep IPAS peserta didik yang menggunakan model Problem Based Learning berbantuan Canva, yaitu diperoleh data hasil pretest kelas VA sebesar 51.15% dan untuk kelas VB diperoleh nilai sebesar 37.69.% Sedangkan setelah peserta didik diberikan posttest, didapat hasil pada kelas VA memiliki rata-rata sebesar 90.69% dan kelas VB sebesar 68.58. % dengan nilai nilai sig.(2-tailed) sebesar 0.001 < 0.5, Berdasarkan hasil uji effect size pada penggunaan model Problem Based Learning berbantuan Canva didapatkan hasil sebesar 1.7 berkategori sangat besar. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa model Problem Based Learning berbantuan Canva berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan pemahaman konsep IPAS peserta didik pada pembelajaran IPAS kelas V SD.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Team Game Tournament (TGT) terhadap kemampuan kognitif dan profil pelajar Pancasila siswa kelas IV di SDN Palasari 03. Metode yang digunakan adalah quasi eksperimen untuk menjawab permasalahan yang ditemukan selama proses pembelajaran, seperti rendahnya keterlibatan kognitif, kurangnya pengembangan karakter, sikap pasif siswa, serta minimnya inisiatif guru dalam mendorong perbaikan. Sampel terdiri dari 56 siswa yang dipilih melalui teknik random sampling sederhana dari dua kelas (IV-A dan IV-B). Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi tes tertulis yaitu pretest dan posttest, observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil pretest menunjukkan rata-rata kemampuan kognitif sebesar 52,43 (kelas eksperimen) dan 56,18 (kelas kontrol), sedangkan hasil posttest meningkat menjadi 78,14 dan 72,36. Analisis effect size menghasilkan nilai sebesar 1,55 yang dikategorikan sebagai pengaruh tinggi. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran kooperatif TGT secara signifikan eningkatkan kemampuan kognitif dan penguatan karakter siswa sekolah dasar dalam konteks kelas nyata secara optimal.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan model Project Based Learning (PjBL) berbantuan media wordwall terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik pada mata pelajaran IPAS. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu metode penelitian kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian quasi experiment, dan desain penelitian nonequivalent control group design. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di kelas V SDN Cilisung 01, yang dilatar belakangi karena rendahnya hasil belajar peserta didik pada mata pelajaran IPAS. Pengolahan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, uji hipotesis, uji effect size dan uji n-gain. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dari uji hipotesis diperoleh Sig. (2-tailed) sebesar 0,000<0,05, artinya terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar peserta didik di kelas eksperimen dengan peserta didik di kelas kontrol, dengan nilai rata-rata kelas eksperimen 89,4 > nilai rata-rata kelas kontrol 78,4. Berdasarkan hasil effect size, model Project Based Learning (PjBL) berbantuan media wordwall memiliki pengaruh sebesar 1,4 terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik yang termasuk dalam kategori besar. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa dengan menggunakan model Project Based Learning (PjBL) berbantuan media wordwall dapat berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik pada mata pelajaran IPAS.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya motivasi belajar peserta didik. Banyak peserta didik merasa bosan dan lelah ketika mendengarkan materi, terlalu banyak aktivitas menulis yang monoton, selain itu pendidik masih menggunakan model direct instruction yang dimana pendidik hanya menerangkan materi juga memberi tugas. jika tidak diimbangi dengan model pembelajaran yang tepat dapat membuat peserta didik merasa cepat lelah dan jenuh sehingga mengakibatkan pengetahuan peserta didik terkendala dan pemikirannya tidak berkembang.   Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model Project Based Learning (PjBL) terhadap motivasi belajar peserta didik pada pembelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam dan Sosial (IPAS). Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode penelitian eksperimen jenis quasi eksperimen dengan tipe nonequivalent control group design. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah menggunakan observasi, dan kuisioner/angket, dan dianalisis dengan uji N-Gain. Berdasarkan Hasil Uji Gain Ternormalisasi bahwa setelah melakukan kegiatan penelitian dan diperolehnya hasil data pretest dan posttest maka didapatkan hasil indeks gain dari kela eksperimen sebesar 37.8443 dan kelas kontrol sebesar 27,8860. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa kelas eksperimen mendapat kategori sedang dan kelas kontrol mendapat kategori rendah. Itu menunjukkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan motivasi belajar menggunakan model project based learning dibanding kelas kontrol yang menggunakan model direct intruction.

Abstract

This community engagement program (PKM) is designed to support "Guru Penggerak" in Bandung in creating interactive multimedia-based learning materials through the use of the Articulate Storyline 3 application. The implementation of interactive multimedia learning media is anticipated to enhance both the effectiveness of teaching and student participation. The program is carried out in several phases, including introductory training, practical workshops, technical guidance, and result evaluation. Findings from this initiative indicate an improvement in the teachers’ ability to utilize Articulate Storyline 3 to produce more engaging and interactive instructional content. Furthermore, the program contributes to strengthening teachers’ skills in integrating educational technology in accordance with the demands of the digital era.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to develop AR media based on Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) that is valid, practical, and effective in improving learning outcomes and literacy of Teacher Professional Education (TPE) students in basic mathematics lessons. The novelty of the study lies in the combination of AR media and the appropriate RME model at the TPE student level. The research method used the ADDIE development model. The number of respondents was 50 TPE students from Pasundan University, which divided into two classes. The mean scores for validity, as assessed by material experts, were 92.11%; learning model experts, 92.22%; media experts, 92.39%; and lecturers, 92.39%, with all categories demonstrating very high validity. For the mean practicality of student assessment of AR media and RME models, the mean was 92.01%, which falls into a very good category. A significant increase was observed in small group trials using AR Media based on the RME model, which has been proven effective, as evidenced by a 29.6-point increase from pre-test scores of 61.2 to post-test scores of 90.8. In large group trials, differences in learning outcomes were found between students who used AR media based on the RME model, with a mean of 90.8, and students who used other media based on the discussion model, with a mean of 69.5. The difference proved effective and very significant, with a mean difference of 21.3. Conclusion: Using RME-based AR media in mathematics learning for TPE students is more effective than using media with other learning models. The implication of this study is that TPE lecturers should encourage the implementation of AR media based on the RME model in the learning process.    Keywords: design, mathematical literacy, AR media, RME.

Abstract

This research is motivated by students in elementary schools who lack critical thinking skills. The purpose of this study is to find out how to influence and improve students' critical thinking skills after using the Problem Based Learning model for fifth grade students at SD Negeri Jelekong, Kp Ninerang, Jelekong Village, Baleendah District, Bandung Regency, Academic Year 2022/2023. Therefore the researcher was interested and took the title "The Influence of the Problem Based Learning Model in Improving the Critical Thinking Ability of Fifth Grade Students at Jelekong Elementary School." This study used a quantitative research type with a quasi-experimental method and nonequivalent control group design. On theme 8, sub-theme 3. The population used was all fifth grade students at SD Negeri Uglyong. VA class as the control class and VB class as the experimental class. Both classes will be given an initial test (pretest) and a final test (posttest). In this study using a test instrument in the form of multiple choice of 20 questions. The results of pretest data processing in the control class obtained an average of 55.17 with a standard deviation of 13.357 and the control class obtained an average value of 58.33 with a standard deviation of 16.522. The results of the posttest for the experimental class obtained a value of 83.67 with a standard deviation of 7.980 and the control class obtained a value of 56.00 with a standard deviation of 17.636. For the results of hypothesis testing using the t test obtained sig. (2-tailed) of 0.000. So it can be concluded that the ability of the Problem Based Learning model can improve the critical thinking skills of elementary school students.
