Abstract

Performa jaringan komputer memiliki peran krusial dalam mendukung efisiensi operasional perusahaan, khususnya pada sektor teknologi yang sangat bergantung pada kecepatan dan kestabilan transmisi data. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membandingkan performa jaringan Local Area Network (LAN) dan Wide Area Network (WAN) dalam mendukung kecepatan akses data pada perusahaan teknologi. Metode eksperimen digunakan untuk menguji empat parameter utama, yaitu throughput, latensi, jitter, dan packet loss, dalam tiga kondisi lalu lintas: idle, normal, dan high traffic. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa LAN secara signifikan lebih unggul dibandingkan WAN pada seluruh parameter. Rata-rata throughput LAN mencapai 918,3 Mbps, jauh lebih tinggi dibandingkan WAN yang hanya sebesar 207,6 Mbps. Selain itu, LAN mencatatkan latensi rendah (1,3 ms), jitter yang stabil (0,7 ms), dan tingkat kehilangan paket yang sangat kecil (0,04%). Sebaliknya, WAN menunjukkan performa yang fluktuatif dengan latensi tinggi (52,4 ms), jitter tidak stabil (8,9 ms), dan packet loss yang signifikan (2,1%). Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa LAN lebih unggul dalam mendukung akses data berkecepatan tinggi dan aplikasi real-time. Temuan ini memberikan bukti empiris bahwa LAN merupakan pilihan yang lebih efisien dan andal untuk kebutuhan perusahaan yang membutuhkan akses data cepat dan stabil. Kontribusi ilmiah dari penelitian ini terletak pada penyajian analisis komparatif berbasis data aktual yang dapat digunakan sebagai acuan dalam perencanaan infrastruktur jaringan perusahaan.

Abstract

The advancement of technology has influenced learning activities, including through the Flipped Classroom model, where students study independently at home and class time is used for discussion and collaboration. Teacher understanding and readiness are critical to its success. This study aims to analyze the level of understanding among elementary, junior, and senior high school teachers in South and West Sulawesi regarding the concept, challenges, and classroom implementation of the Flipped Classroom model. A descriptive quantitative method with a survey approach was applied, involving 49 randomly selected teachers. Data were analyzed using the Rasch model to identify the distribution and trends of teacher understanding. The results show that teacher understanding of the Flipped Classroom model is generally high and evenly distributed across demographic groups. These findings provide insight into designing more effective learning strategies across educational levels.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness and ease of using digitally integrated project-based contextual physics resources in strengthening students' critical thinking skills, to support the achievement of Sustainable Development Goal 4 (SDG-4). The research method used was a quasi-experimental one-group pretest-posttest design involving senior high school students in South Sulawesi, Indonesia. Data analysis was conducted using descriptive and inferential statistical tests. The results showed that digitally integrated project-based contextual physics resources were effective in improving students' critical thinking skills with a significance level of <0.05. The findings revealed a substantial improvement in students' critical thinking skills, indicated by an increase in the mean score from 28.23 (pre-test) to 70.07 (post-test). In addition, the contextual physics resources were also considered very easy to use by teachers and students in the physics learning process, with an average practicality score of >80%, categorized as "very practical. The conclusion of this study indicates that digitally integrated, project-based, contextual physics resources can be an innovative learning strategy that supports efforts to achieve SDG-4 by strengthening students' critical thinking skills. The implications of this study open the door to the development of other learning approaches aligned with the demands of 21st-century education and the continuous improvement of educational quality.
