Abstract

The importance of the role of learners in the future, therefore entrepreneurship education must be continued and prepared. Entrepreneurship at the basic education level is designed to develop independent, creative, leadership and hardworking traits. To improve and prepare it, socialization or counseling was carried out at the Al-mujahideen Integrated Islamic Boarding School Foundation, Jl Soekarno-Hatta Km 10, Karang Joang Village, North Balikpapan District, Balikpapan City, East Kalimantan. The socialization was held on October 16, 2022, consisting of 82 students. The purpose of this socialization is to provide information about entrepreneurship and build an entrepreneurial spirit. The method of this activity is to provide education, discussion and question and answer, and wilcoxon test is also used to find out the comparison before and after the delivery of the material. The results of this activity are expected that students can gain knowledge about entrepreneurship and develop a desire to become entrepreneurs for the future, the results of the Wilcoxon test state that there are significant differences before and after the delivery of the material. So all students have understood more deeply about entrepreneurial knowledge, developed and built a mindset about entrepreneurship.

Abstract

This study aims to identify significant influence between Debt to Equity Ratio (DER) and Net Profit Margin (NPM) on firm value proxied by Price Book Value (PBV) in property and real estate companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. This study uses a multiple linear regression method with quantitative approach and uses a purposive sampling method with sampling techniques on property and real estate companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2017-2019 period. The final sample of the study was 39 firm-years. The results of this study indicate that there’s a significant effect of Debt to Equity Ratio (DER) on Firm Value and there’s no significant effect on Net Profit Margin (NPM) on Firm Value. This research was expected to be a reference and material for consideration in making investment decisions for investors, as well reference for  considering company value and efforts to increase company value in order to attract investors to invest their capital for the company. Keywords : DER, NPM dan Firm Value

Abstract

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of leverage, financial performance, firm size and sales growth on firm value. The study population is all manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesian stock exchange, the period 2017 - 2018. The sample selection uses a purposive sampling method. Data analysis and hypothesis testing were carried out using a structural equation modeling approach using the Eviews 11. The results showed that financial performance and sales growth had a significant effect on firm value. investors in making investment decisions view the level of profitability from their ability to manage assets. The ability to manage assets creates sales growth so that it can get maximum profit. Both of these things can increase the company's value in the market. Investors in making investment decisions generally do not consider several factors as a whole, so that the right investment decisions will be obtained.

Abstract

Technological developments encourage MSMEs to adopt non-cash payments to improve competitiveness and consumer experience. This study analyzes the influence of technological, organizational, and environmental factors on the adoption of non-cash payment systems in MSMEs in Samarinda City. The research method used a sample of 130 MSME actors selected by random sampling. The results of the analysis show that all three factors have a positive effect on the adoption of non-cash payments. This finding emphasizes the importance of technological support, internal readiness of MSMEs, and external pressure in encouraging the transition to a cashless system. The practical implication is that MSMEs need to adapt to digital payment systems to improve business efficiency and support sustainability (paperless). Theoretically, this study strengthens the understanding of the determinants of digital innovation adoption in the MSME sector, while providing recommendations for business actors, government, and fintech providers in expanding the use of non-cash payments.

Abstract

Purpose: This study aims to enhance student's environmental awareness, particularly regarding river ecology, through an experiential learning approach. The primary activity in this research is a field visit by students to the Karangmumus River School, allowing them to compare theoretical knowledge learned in class with real-world conditions. Method: The study employs a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. Data was collected through observations, interviews, and student reflections after the field visit. Practical Application: The findings reveal that the visit significantly improved students' understanding of river conservation and the impact of human activities on river ecosystems. Furthermore, the activity motivated students to contribute to environmental preservation efforts. Thus, integrating classroom theory with field experiences effectively fostered environmental awareness among students. Conclusion: This study shows that experiential learning through field visits to the Karangmumus River School significantly increases students' awareness of river ecology and environmental conservation.

Abstract

Website-based ordering information systems at restaurants or restaurants are very little implemented by restaurants and restaurants in Indonesia. Ichiban sushi is a full-service Japanese restaurant with the largest number of outlets in Indonesia, the information system for ordering food at Ichiban Sushi is no longer using the conventional system where currently ordering at Ichiban uses website-based ordering. This study aims to see the ease and constraints felt by consumers in the implementation of a website-based ordering information system implemented by Ichiban Sushi Samarinda. The method used in this study using qualitative methods, research data collection with field observations by observing consumers in Ichiban Sushi Samarinda and consumers around Ichiban Sushi Samarinda. The results of this study indicate that a website-based ordering information system makes the food ordering process easy and fast, especially in the pandemic era when research is carried out, consumers are not worried about contracting the covid virus because they do not exchange restaurant menu books. In addition, restaurants will benefit from the collection of consumer data such as consumer contacts and their favorite menus.

Abstract

The main problem in this study lies in the existence of an uncomfortable work environment, this is characterized by less harmonious relationships between employees, suboptimal internal communication, and inequality of interaction between civil servants and non-civil servants. In addition, problems arise in the aspect of work discipline, there is inconsistency in the application of work discipline rules, which creates the impression of injustice and has the potential to reduce the enthusiasm and responsibility of employees. This study aims to analyze and prove the effect of work environment and work discipline simultaneously on employee performance at the One-Stop Investment and Integrated Service Office (DPMPTSP) of East Kalimantan Province. The research method used is a quantitative approach with multiple linear regression analysis techniques, using the help of SPSS software version 27. The analysis used is validity test, reliability test, multiple linear regression analysis, classical assumption test, and hypothesis testing. The results showed that (1) work environment has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, (2) work discipline has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, and (3) work environment and work discipline simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on employee performance at the One-Stop Investment and Integrated Service Office (DPMPTSP) of East Kalimantan Province.

Abstract

Penelitian memiliki tujuan menganalisis pengaruh pertumbuhan penjualan dan debt to equity ratio (DER) terhadap pertumbuhan laba subsektor food and beverage yang te  rcatat di Bursa Efek Indonesia selama periode 2015-2024. Data sekunder dari laporan keuangan digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan metode purposive sampling. Sebanyak 10 perusahaan dipilih sebagai sampel dengan total 100 data. Metode regresi linear berganda digunakan untuk mengukur pengaruh antara variabel. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pertumbuhan penjualan memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap pertumbuhan laba yang mengindikasikan bahwa peningkatan penjualan mampu mendorong kenaikan laba perusahaan. Sementara itu, DER berpengaruh signifikan dengan arah negatif terhadap pertumbuhan laba perusahaan, mengisyaratkan bahwa dominasi utang dalam struktur modal berpotensi menambah beban bunga serta risiko keuangan yang harus ditanggung perusahaan.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of financial literacy and hedonistic lifestyle on the financial behavior of undergraduate management students at Universitas Muhammadiyah Kalimantan Timur. Financial literacy refers to an individual’s ability to understand, believe in, and effectively manage personal finances. Meanwhile, a hedonistic lifestyle reflects a tendency to pursue short-term pleasures without considering long-term financial consequences. This research employed a quantitative approach using a survey method, with data collected through questionnaires distributed to 100 active students. Data analysis was conducted using multiple linear regression with the help of SPSS software. The results indicate that financial literacy has a positive and significant effect on students’ financial behavior. In contrast, a hedonistic lifestyle does not have a significant partial effect; however, when combined with financial literacy, both variables have a significant simultaneous influence. These findings highlight the importance of improving financial literacy to foster healthier financial behavior and help students make wiser decisions when facing consumer lifestyle pressures.
