Abstract

This research is to develop mathematics teaching materials that are integrated with elementary school thematic learning. The purpose of the development is to obtain mathematics teaching materials that prioritize the local wisdom of the Acehnese people. This teaching material is helpful for fifth-grade elementary school students in which there are character values for learning mathematics. This study uses a qualitative descriptive research method with the ADDIE model development research design. This research focuses on analyzing elementary school teachers who face the problem of integrated mathematics-based character education in thematic learning, then making initial designs and developing character education-based mathematics teaching materials that are integrated into the learning theme. The results showed that character education-based mathematics teaching materials were compatible with elementary students' thematic learning. Mathematics teaching materials focused on solving math problems for elementary students, integrating character values in mathematics with various themes in thematic learning by integrating each mathematics material into themes. The mathematics teaching materials developed were designed with various activities related to daily activities with straightforward language to be understood and made into a mathematical model.

Abstract

The application of the green economy during the covid-19 pandemic has become a problem in efforts to reduce household waste. Indonesia is currently ranked second as the largest waste producer in the world, one rank below China. The implementation of Community Activity Restrictions (PPKM) in Tegal Sari Village and other Pamekasan city areas has resulted in limited community activities outside the home, many workers being laid off making the community's economy decline, but economic needs are increasing. This can cause food packaging plastic waste produced from households to increase every day. Garbage will accumulate continuously and can even make the environment a hotbed of disease if not managed properly. The creative idea of handicrafts aims to help reduce the level of household waste by sorting waste using 3R (Rescue, Reduce, Recyle). The method used in this study is a qualitative method by interviewing resource persons who have ideas for creating items that are suitable for use from household waste. The method used in this study is the Participatory Action Research (PAR) method with a qualitative approach by interviewing resource persons who have ideas to create suitable items for use from household waste. The result of post-covid-19 pandemic service is that the community can distribute inorganic waste into goods of economic value by restoring the role of the green economy so that solutions from waste can be overcome.

Abstract

The need to measure complex dimensions of social and humanitarian problems such as quality of life, welfare, and health which cannot be measured using classical techniques, provides an opportunity for the fuzzy logic approach to solve these problems thanks to its ability to work within a framework uncertainty, ambiguity, and unclear information. This research aims to prioritize indicators for measuring employee well-being at the Oro Kopi Gayo company in conditions of uncertainty. Using Chang's Extent Analysis Method in the Fuzzy Analytical Hierarchy Process, this paper evaluates five main components of employee well-being: work satisfaction, organizational respect for the employee, employer care, positive/negative emotions, and intrusion of work into private life. It is hoped that the results of this research can be used as a reference in further research to determine the influence of these five criteria on employee well-being at the Oro Kopi Gayo company

Abstract

This study aims to improve student learning outcomes in Mathematics, especially simple fractions, through the application of the Problem Based Learning learning model. The background of this study is based on the need for an effective learning approach and encourage active student participation in learning simple fractions. The Problem Based Learning learning model is one of the learning approaches used to improve learning outcomes in Mathematics. This study applies the Problem Based Learning learning model to grade III students at SDN 001 Barong Tongkok in the 2024/2025 academic year. The study method used in this study is Classroom Action Research. Classroom action studies are applied through two cycles. Each cycle consists of four processes that are applied sequentially, namely planning, acting, observing, and reflecting. The class that is the subject of this study is grade I students with a total of 21 people. In the initial conditions, the average student score was 62.25. After implementing the first cycle, where the teacher applied the learning practice, the results obtained were that in cycle I, the average class score increased to 67.25, and in cycle II, the average score increased to 77.75. Through the action study applied through two cycles, a significant increase was obtained. Thus, it can be concluded that the Problem Based Learning learning model is effective in improving Mathematics learning outcomes in simple fractions in class III at SDN 001 Barong Tongkok

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the temporal trends of rainfall and temperature in North Sumatra Province, focusing on the Medan and Deli Serdang regions. The data used in this study was obtained from the Central Statistics Agency of North Sumatra (BPS Sumut) and spans the period from January 2000 to December 2022. The Mann-Kendall test was applied to identify trends, Sen's Slope Estimator measured the trend slope, and Pearson correlation analysis assessed the relationship between rainfall and temperature. Key findings indicate that Medan has a higher monthly rainfall average than Deli Serdang, with both regions showing a significant increasing trend in rainfall, although the rise is gradual. Additionally, a positive trend in temperature was identified, reflecting broader climate change patterns. However, the correlation between rainfall and temperature was weak, indicating minimal direct interaction between these variables in the study areas. These results contribute valuable insights into climate dynamics and are critical for the development of climate change adaptation strategies in North Sumatra Province.

Abstract

The quality of services provided by logistics providers has a direct impact on an organization's business. Organizations need to critically evaluate the performance of their LSPs and choose service providers rationally. LSPs understand the importance of service quality to their survival and growth and strive to provide high-quality services. PT Pos Logistik Indonesia (PLI) is a company that operates in the field of Logistics Delivery Services which can include documents, electronic products, logistics, and others.  PT Pos Logistik Indonesia (PLI) in Langsa City should have criteria as a logistics service provider to ensure customer satisfaction. This research aims to analyze these criteria through a survey collected from 120 Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) organizations in Langsa City that use the services of PT Pos Logistik Indonesia (PLI). Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) are individual business entities or legal entities that have small initial capital, or a small value of wealth (assets) and a small (limited) number of employees. Questionnaire strategies were used to identify criteria selection-based sustainable logistics service quality (SLSQ) theoretical framework, that is sustainable transport elements, training, collaboration, sustainable packaging, and sustainable information. The explanatory factor analysis method was employed. The top three ranked criteria for evaluating logistics service provider criteria selection based on sustainable logistics service quality are the trained PLI employees, the sustainable packaging, and the commitment to environmental goals. Through this research, it confirms that sustainable logistics practices can bring value to PLI as LSPs and better improve their performance and customer satisfaction.
