Abstract

Prokrastinasi Akademik merupakan perilaku menunda yang terjadi pada siswa. Dampak dari perilaku tersebut Siswa mengalami gangguan belajar dan penurunan nilai akademik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas konseling kelompok dengan teknik restrukturisasi kognitif untuk mereduksi prokrastinasi akademik siswa kelas XI SMA Sejahtera. Dalam penelitian ini prokrastinasi yang ditemukan antara lain: menunda-nunda tugas karena sulit memahami pelajaran dan mengerjakan kegiatan seperti bermain voli, bermain ponsel, menonton anime. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dan design pre-eksperimental one-group pre-test & post-test. Penelitian ini menggunakan skala pengukuran. Diketahui jumlah populasi adalah 116 siswa dengan sampel yang berjumlah 6 siswa. Terdiri dari 5 siswa laki-laki dan 1 siswi perempuan. Hasil penelitian ini didapatkan bahwa uji wilcoxon menunjukkan penurunan pada skor pre-test dan post-test, dengan nilai Asymp Sig (2-tailed) sebesar 0,027 menunjukkan bahwa hipotesis diterima (Ha) dengan alasan 0,027 kurang dari 0,05. Siswa yang memiliki penurunan prokrastinasi akademik akan mudah menentukan skala prioritas dan memiliki manajemen waktu yang baik, dan sebaliknya. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas konseling kelompok dengan teknik assertive training untuk meningkatkan komunikasi interpersonal siswa SMP PGRI 1 Buduran Sidoarjo. Rancangan penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan kuantitatif dengan desain penelitian one group pre-test post-test design. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah skala pengukuran berupa skala pengumpulan data sebagai teknik pengumpulan data. Populasi penelitian adalah siswa kelas VII SMP PGRI 1 Buduran Sidoarjo yang memiliki kemampuan komunikasi interpersonal yang rendah. Enam siswa dengan nilai komunikasi interpersonal rendah dijadikan sampel. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ketika siswa menerima treatment konseling kelompok menggunakan teknik assertive training, komunikasi interpersonal mereka meningkat. Hal ini ditunjukkan dari hasil uji Wilcoxon bahwa Asymp. Sig. (2-tailed) bernilai 0,028. Diketahui bahwa nilai 0,028 lebih kecil dari 0,05 maka dapat diartikan Ha diterima dan H0 ditolak. Dapat diartikan bahwa terdapat perbedaan komunikasi interpesonal siswa dari hasil pre-test dan post-test, sehingga konseling kelompok dengan teknik assertive training efektif untuk meningkatkan komunikasi interpersonal siswa SMP PGRI 1 Buduran Sidoarjo.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas teknik role playing dalam bimbingan kelompok untuk meningkatkan self-efficacy siswa SMAN 4 Sidoarjo. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode one group pre-test post-test design. Sampel yang digunakan berjumlah 8 siswa yang memiliki self-efficacy terendah dari hasil pre-test yang sudah dilakukan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan hasil yang didapatkan ditinjau dari prolehan hasil pre-test serta post-test. Hasil akhir nilai post-test menunjukkan bahwa 8 siswa dengan nilai terendah mengalami peningkatan, 4 siswa berada di kategori sedang sedangkan 4 siswa lainnya tetap di kategori rendah namun mengalami perubahan nilai. Hasil dari uji wilcoxon menunjukkan bahwa Asymp. Sig (2-tailed) bernilai 0,012 karena kurang dari 0,05 maka dapat dikatakan bahwa Hₐ diterima, hal tersebut dapat dilihat dengan membandingkan nilai signifikan 0,05. Pemberian treatment menggunakan teknik role playing dalam bimbingan kelompok menunjukkan adanya hasil dari penelitian ini bahwa terdapat perubahan yang terjadi sehingga bisa disimpulkan bahwa teknik role playing dalam bimbingan kelompok efektif untuk meningkatkan self-efficacy siswa SMAN 4 Sidoarjo.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effectiveness of assertive training techniques in group counseling in reducing people pleasing among students in the city of Surabaya. This research uses a quantitative research design one grup pre-test post-test design. The population of this research are active students in the city of Surabaya who have attitudes people pleasing. The sample consisted of five students who were indicated to have attitudes people pleasing quite high and medium. The results show that there has been a decline people pleasing to students after conducting a counseling session and given treatment using assertive training techniques. This research uses tests Wilcoxon to analyze the data, and on this data shows Asymp. Say. (2-tailed) is worth 0.042. It is known that the value of 0.042 is smaller than 0.05, meaning that Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected. It can be interpreted that assertive training is effective in reducing attitudes people pleasing to students in the city of Surabaya

Abstract

Academic procrastination is a common issue that hinders students' academic success and psychological well-being. In junior high school, where self-control is still developing, students are particularly vulnerable to distractions and delay in completing academic tasks. To address this issue, counseling approaches grounded in cultural values may offer effective solutions. This study aims to measure the effectiveness of KIPAS (Intensive Progressive Adaptive Structure Counseling) in reducing academic procrastination in junior high school students. A quasi-experimental design with pretest and posttest measurements was employed, involving seven students who exhibited high levels of academic procrastination. The measurement scale used assessed the amanah dimension, which is linked to students' sense of responsibility in completing academic tasks. The results indicated a significant decrease in academic procrastination following the KIPAS counseling intervention, as reflected in the shift between pretest and posttest scores. The Wilcoxon test yielded a Z = -2.429, p = 0.031, suggesting that the change in procrastination levels was statistically significant. These findings support the effectiveness of KIPAS counseling, which integrates local cultural values such as amanah, istiqomah, and iffah, in reducing academic procrastination. This counseling approach fosters students' discipline and responsibility, helping them develop better academic habits. Based on the results, it is recommended that KIPAS counseling be implemented in diverse educational settings to further assess its effectiveness. Schools should consider adopting culturally based counseling approaches to help address procrastination, improve learning outcomes, and enhance students' psychological well-being.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of play therapy with hand puppet media in group guidance on the socio-emotional of students of SMP Hang Tuah 1 Surabaya during the Covid-19 pandemic. This type of research is pre-experimental using a quantitative approach. In this study design using a research design one group pre-test post-test design. The research subjects were 5 students who have low socio-emotional levels. Hypothesis testing used by researchers is the Wilcoxon signed ranks test. The results of this study indicate that there is an increase in the average socio-emotional score of students of SMP Hang Tuah 1 Surabaya from the mean pre-test 76.80 to the post-test mean value of 96.60 which means that play therapy with hand puppet media in group guidance affects socio-emotional. students (Asymp. Sig = 0.043; Asymp. Sig = 0.043 <α = 0.05). Based on the results of the study, it was proven that the use of play therapy with hand puppet media in group guidance had an effect on increasing students' socio-emotional.

Abstract

Creativity is an important aspect for every individual and should be developed from an early age. The development of creativity in children can be done by facilitating the use of creative media. This study aims to develop children's creativity by using art therapy in the guidance program. Art therapy in this guidance program is useful in increasing children's creativity through the process in producing a work. The approach used in this study is quantitative with a quasi-experimental design method. This study carried out the steps from the preliminary study, compiling a hypothetical program based on the preliminary study, revising the program, conducting experiments that were carried out for five treatments, and then data organization and data analysis were carried out using the Wilcoxon test. Based on the results of data analysis tests using SPSS 26 software, it was found that the implementation of art therapy in the guidance program was effective in increasing the creativity of playgroup students.

Abstract

The objective of this study is to examine the effectiveness of flashcards in enhancing students' self-concept. Self-concept is described as an individual's ability and characteristics that influence how they think about themselves and how they wish to present themselves ideally. This research employs a pre-experimental design using a one-group pre-test and post-test design. Data collection was conducted at Junior High School (SMP) Jalan Jawa Surabaya. Based on observations and interviews, it was found that approximately 55% of students face low self-concept issues, as indicated by the completion of guidance and counseling instruments. The statistical test results showed an Asymp. Sig value of 0.036, where Asymp. Sig 0.001 < α = 0.05, leading to the rejection of Ho and acceptance of H1. The pre-test and post-test scores also demonstrated an improvement in students' self-concept after the intervention with flash cards. Therefore, it can be concluded that flashcards are effective in enhancing students' self-concept.

Abstract

Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk mengidentifikasi efektivitas model bimbingan kelompok menggunakan nilai luhur “Nrimo Ing Pandum” untuk meningkatkan empati mahasiswa sebagai pencegahan konflik. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen dengan desain one group pre-test and post-test untuk mengukur perubahan tingkat empati pada subjek penelitian sebelum dan sesudah perlakuan, meskipun tanpa kelompok kontrol untuk membandingkan efek perlakuan. Penelitian ini menggunakan sampel 8. mahasiswa bimbingan dan konseling Universitas PGRI Adi Buana Surabaya. Penyebab konflik mahasiswa salah satunya adalah disebabkan oleh empati yang rendah. Empati dapat ditingkatkan dengan teknik bimbingan kelompok.  Nilai uji SPSS diketahui Asymp. Sig (2-tailed) adalah 0,042 yang memiliki arti kurang dari 0,05 sehingga hipotesis diterima (Ha). Hasil yang dapat disimpulkan adalah model bimbingan kelompok menggunakan nilai luhur “Nrimo Ing Pandum” efektif untuk meningkatkan empati mahasiswa sebagai pencegahan konflik.
