Abstract

Educational supervision represents a core pillar within educational administration, profoundly impacting the advancement of instructional delivery. Within an Islamic framework, this oversight transcends mere technical pedagogical enhancement, heavily emphasizing the cultivation of ethics and internal spiritual growth. This inquiry explores the structural philosophy of supervision from an Islamic viewpoint, seeking to align the profound insights embedded in Surah Az-Zumar with innovative conceptual designs for religious-based school supervision. Executed through a qualitative paradigm using a comprehensive desk research design, this analysis synthesizes diverse academic texts, theoretical books, and classic as well as modern exegesis. The structural reading of Surah Az-Zumar verse 9 reveals imperative constructs regarding intellectual appreciation, spiritual awakening, interior examination, and human development. These points can be seamlessly incorporated into Islamic school oversight via specialized professional mentorship, analytical reflection, and deep spiritual orientation. Consequently, an Islamic supervisory paradigm rooted in these celestial principles is forecasted to radically maximize instructional efficacy and foster robust teacher professionalism across Islamic educational environments.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of cutting parameters on surface roughness in the turning process of AISI 1045 steel. The investigated parameters include cutting speed, feed rate, and depth of cut. A quantitative approach was employed using multiple linear regression analysis with SPSS software. The dataset consisted of 30 simulated experimental observations with varying cutting parameter conditions. Prior to regression analysis, classical assumption tests including normality, multicollinearity, and heteroscedasticity tests were conducted to ensure the validity of the model. The results indicated that all assumptions were satisfied. The findings reveal that simultaneously, all independent variables have a significant effect on surface roughness with a coefficient of determination of 82.1%. Partially, Feed rate and cutting speed significantly influence surface roughness, while depth of cut does not show a significant effect. Feed rate is identified as the most dominant variable affecting surface roughness, where an increase in Feed rate leads to higher roughness values. In contrast, increasing cutting speed tends to reduce surface roughness. This study highlights the importance of controlling cutting parameters, particularly Feed rate and cutting speed, to improve machining quality. The results provide practical implications for manufacturing industries in optimizing machining parameters to achieve better surface quality and process efficiency.

Abstract

An efficient queuing system plays a crucial role in improving service quality and customer satisfaction. Inefficiencies in the queuing system of food and beverage businesses can lead to long lines and decreased customer satisfaction due to prolonged waiting times for ordering. Therefore, addressing queue inefficiencies requires improvements in queuing rules, facilities, or resources. This study investigates inefficiencies in the take-away service queuing system at a tea beverage outlet in a shopping mall in Bali, which results in long waiting times and customer dissatisfaction, especially during peak hours. The objective of this research is to analyze the existing queuing system, identify key bottlenecks, and propose improvements to enhance service efficiency. The method used is system simulation with ProModel, where data is collected through direct observation and time measurements at various service stages. The simulation results indicate that the bottleneck occurs at the cashier counter, causing the average customer waiting time to reach 1,855 seconds. The outlet is only able to serve 71.2% of the total potential customers within three hours. Adding one more cashier counter successfully increased the number of customers served from 88 to 156 within three hours, reduced the average waiting time to 1,340 seconds, and improved processing capacity to 95.31%. In conclusion, the proposed improvements in this study can significantly enhance the efficiency of the queuing system and customer satisfaction at the tea beverage outlet.

Abstract

The development of digital technology has driven transformation in various areas of life, including education. Digital education is one strategy to improve the quality, accessibility, effectiveness, and equity of educational services. Its implementation requires clear regulations and policies as a foundation for managing the use of digital technology in a targeted, safe, and sustainable manner. Digital education regulations serve as guidelines for implementing technology-based learning, personal data protection, cybersecurity, digital infrastructure management, and educational quality assurance. Meanwhile, digital education policies play a role in determining the direction, objectives, strategies, and programs that support digital transformation in the educational environment. Digital education policies and regulations involve various stakeholders, including the government, educational institutions, educators, students, and the community. The government plays a role in formulating regulations, providing infrastructure, improving human resource competency, and overseeing implementation. At the educational institution level, policy implementation is carried out through the use of digital platforms in the learning process, administration, evaluation, and student competency development. However, the implementation of digital education still faces various challenges, such as disparities in technology access, limited digital literacy, data security, and human resource readiness.

Abstract

Pendidikan Islam merupakan sistem pendidikan yang berlandaskan nilai-nilai wahyu dan akal dalam membentuk manusia yang beriman, berilmu, dan berakhlak mulia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji hakikat dan landasan pendidikan Islam serta implikasinya dalam menghadapi era transformasi digital. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian kepustakaan (library research). Data diperoleh dari sumber primer dan sekunder berupa Al-Qur’an, Hadis, serta literatur ilmiah yang relevan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hakikat pendidikan Islam mencakup pengembangan potensi manusia secara holistik (jasmani, akal, dan ruhani), sedangkan landasannya meliputi landasan teologis, filosofis, psikologis, dan sosiologis. Dalam era digital, pendidikan Islam menghadapi tantangan adaptasi teknologi, namun tetap harus mempertahankan nilai-nilai dasar keislaman. Implikasi penelitian ini menegaskan pentingnya integrasi antara nilai-nilai Islam dan inovasi teknologi dalam sistem pendidikan.

Abstract

Pulau Mandangin di Kabupaten Sampang, Jawa Timur, menghadapi krisis air bersih kronis akibat keterbatasan sumber air tawar, intrusi air laut, dan tingginya biaya distribusi air dari daratan. Masyarakat bergantung pada air hujan dan sumur galian yang kualitasnya menurun, terutama saat kemarau. Sebagai respon, tim pengabdian masyarakat melaksanakan pemberdayaan warga melalui pembuatan dan instalasi sistem Sea Water Reverse Osmosis (SWRO) portabel yang hemat energi dan ramah lingkungan. Sistem dirancang modular agar mudah dipindahkan, dioperasikan, dan dirawat oleh masyarakat, dengan tahapan survei kebutuhan, perancangan PFD, fabrikasi, pelatihan operator lokal, serta penyusunan panduan operasi dan pemeliharaan. Hasil pengujian kontinyu di workshop menunjukkan air umpan dengan TDS 8.480 ppm dapat diturunkan menjadi TDS permeat rata-rata 681,93 ppm (653–700 ppm) dengan rejection rate sekitar 92% dan debit permeat 1,66 L/menit pada tekanan operasi sekitar 20 bar. Kualitas permeat tergolong “fair” menurut WHO, namun masih belum memenuhi ambang TDS air minum <500 ppm sesuai Permenkes No. 2 Tahun 2023. Program ini meningkatkan akses air bersih serta kapasitas masyarakat dalam pengelolaan teknologi secara mandiri.

Abstract

This research is to analyze the need for using Word Search Puzzle learning media in Al-Khabir material in class VII MTs Hidayatul Muhajirin Palangka Raya. The research uses a mixed method, combining quantitative and qualitative approaches, with data collected through questionnaires and interviews. The research results show that 79% of students have high interest in using Word Search Puzzle, while 21% are less interested. This media is effective in increasing students' motivation, involvement and understanding of the material being taught. Apart from that, Word Search Puzzle also stimulates critical thinking skills, accuracy and concentration. And as many as 59% of teachers only use media in the form of modules such as textbooks or worksheets, while the other 41% do not use technology-based media in learning. Thus, this research recommends the development of innovative learning media to increase student involvement in the teaching and learning process in accordance with educational needs in the digital era.
