Abstract

This study is motivated by the limited knowledge of teachers in creating visual support programs for children with autism spectrum disorders (ASD). It is essential for teachers to increase their knowledge base in creating programs specifically designed for ASD children. Therefore, this study aims to empirically examine the effect of a visual support program to increase the knowledge of teachers in creating visual support programs for ASD children using a pre-experiment with one group pretest-post test design. The participants are nine teachers of ASD children, and non-parametric statistical analysis is conducted to test the difference in knowledge scores before and after administering the program. The results show that the visual support programs effectively increases the knowledge of teachers in making visual support with sig. .01 and effect size of 72%.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh altruisme terhadap kebahagiaan pada mahasiswa Fakultas Psikologi UIN Malang 2018 yang menghadapi skripsi. Metode pada penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 104 orang. Dalam pengumpulan data penelitian peneliti menggunakan instrumen Self Report Altruism (SRA) dan Oxford Happiness Questionare (OHQ). Metode yang digunakan untuk analisis data yaitu uji deskriptif, uji normalitas, uji linearitas dan uji regresi linear sederhana dengan bantuan program Microsoft excel 2010 for Windows dan IMB SPSS versi 25.0 for Windows. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan statistik didapatkan hasil bahwa nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,3 atau 30%. Hal ini berarti bahwa pengaruh variabel bebas (altruisme) terhadap variabel terikat (kebahagiaan) adalah sebesar 30%. Artinya terdapat pengaruh signifikan altruisme terhadap kebahagiaan, semakin tinggi tingkat altruisme seseorang maka semakin tinggi pula kebahagiaan yang akan dirasakan. Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini hanya berasal dari Fakultas Psikologi UIN Malang angkatan 2018 sehingga hasil yang didapat mungkin akan menimbulkan perbedaan apabila dilakukan pada Universitas atau organisasi lainnya, oleh karena itu diperlukan penelitian dengan menggunakan kelompok sampel berbeda baik itu dari segi jenis kelamin, usia dan demografi.

Abstract

ABSTRACTMusic performance anxiety is an anxiety experienced by a musician when he is in a performance. The feeling of anxiety or stage fright is naturally felt by musicians when they are about to perform a performance, but if this happens continuously it will disturb and make musicians lose focus. Even when musicians are unable to handle the pressure, musicians will fall prey to narcotics and commit suicide. Therefore the need for a musician to prevent the occurrence of MPA. What can help prevent MPA symptoms is self-efficacy and emotional regulation. This research method uses a quantitative research method with multiple regression types. The measuring tools used in this study were the General Self-Efficacy Scale (GSE), Emotion Regulation Questionnaire (ERQ), and Music performance anxiety Inventory Adolescent (MPAI-A). The subjects in this study were 68 singers. Analysis of the research data using SPSS 25.0 for Windows.The results showed that self-efficacy and emotional regulation had an effect of 15.8% on music performance anxiety with a sig value of 0.004 0.05. So that hypothesis can be accepted. Self-efficacy makes an effective contribution of 13.2% and emotional regulation provides an effective contribution of 2.6%.KEY WORDS : self efficacy; regulation emostion; music performance anxiety; choirABSTRAKMusic performance anxiety merupakan sebuah kecemasan yang dialami oleh seorang musisi ketika berada dalam sebuah pertunjukan. Rasa cemas atau demam panggung tersebut wajar dirasakan musisi ketika akan menampilkan sebuah pertunjukan, namun jika hal tersebut terjadi secara terus menerus akan mengganggu dan membuat musisi kehilangan fokus. Bahkan ketika musisi tidak mampu mengatasi tekanan, musisi akan terjerumus pada narkotika dan bunuh diri. Oleh karena itu perlunya seorang musisi mencegah terjadinya MPA. Beberapa hal yang dapat mencegah MPA ialah efikasi diri dan regulasi emosi. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitaitf dengan jenis regresi berganda. Alat ukur yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah General Self-Efficacy Scale (GSE), Emotion Regulation Questionnaire (ERQ), dan Music performance anxiety Inventory Adolescent (MPAI-A). Subjek pada penelitian ini berjumlah 68 singer. Analisis data pada penelitian ini menggunakan bantuan program SPSS for windows 25.0. Abstract

Language ability is one of the basic skills that must be trained from pre-school age. The purpose of this study was to examine the effectiveness of the digital storytelling method to improve early childhood language skills. This study used a quasi-experimental design, pretest-posttest nonequivalent control group design. The subjects of this study were 30 students of RAMNU Citra Kartini which were divided into a control group and an experimental group. Measurement of language skills is done by means of a checklist of early childhood language skills. The results of the study were analyzed using the paired sample t-test technique with a Sig value. 0.000 (<0.05) and 0.092 (>0.05) respectively in the control and experimental groups with a large effect size value of 1.623, so the digital storytelling method is very effective for improving early childhood language skills and can be applied in learning early childhood language.

Abstract

Parental involvement is a crucial thing that can improve children's early literacy skills. The purpose of this research is to analyze the involvement of parents in early literacy in Malang, Indonesia. This study used a descriptive quantitative method with a survey involving 122 parents (mean age 37.5 years) who had kindergarten children aged 4-6 years. This study uses a measuring tool developed by PIRLS-2011 Parental Involvement from the parent's perspective. The results show that in general parental involvement in developing early literacy skills is in the low category of 48% or as many as 58 people and in the medium category of 37% or as many as 45 people. Parental involvement at home shows 38.87%. This shows that parents are quite involved in developing children's literacy at home.

Abstract

Orang tua perlu mengetahui bagaimana memanfaatkan teknologi tersebut agar memberikan dampak positif bagi perkembangan bahasa anaknya. Tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah mengembangkan buku saku untuk orang tua tentang pendampingan anak dalam mengoptimalkan aspek perkembangan bahasanya di era digital. Model pengembangan yang digunakan adalah 4D yaitu define, design, develop, dan disseminate yang diadaptasikan menjadi 4P yaitu pendefinisian, perancangan, pengembangan, dan penyebaran. Subjeknya adalah 10 orang tua di kota Pontianak, sumber data berasal dari 20 guru Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini serta melibatkan para psikolog yang bekerja di PAUD dan dosen PG-PAUD untuk mendapatkan data validasi ahli materi dan validasi ahli media. Metode yang digunakan wawancara dan angket dengan teknik analisis data analisis deskriptif kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan buku saku ini layak digunakan setelah mendapatkan masukan dari subjek penelitian maupun validator ahli materi dan ahli media.

Abstract

Parental involvement plays a pivotal role in fostering early literacy skills. Understanding the factors influencing parental involvement is essential for promoting effective intervention in childhood. This study aims to identify and explore the determinants of parental involvement in early literacy development. The scoping review adheres to PRISMA guidelines from eight electronic databases: SAGE, Research Gate, Semantic Scholar, Google Scholar, Science Direct, Taylor and Francis, Scopus, and Springer. The criteria include research on parental involvement and early literacy, handling children aged 0-6 years and parents, and publishing original research articles and literature reviews. The search yielded 13 relevant studies. The analysis results show the following determinants of parental involvement in early literacy development: internal factors (i.e., parent depression, parent fidelity, parental genetics, parent's perspective, parent's support, parental positive motivation and belief, parental estimation, and parent expectation) and external factors (i.e., socioeconomic status, parents' education, parental literacy experience, family risk home literacy environment, and emergent literacy skills). The study results aim to inform targeted interventions to enhance parental involvement in early literacy across diverse contexts.

Abstract

Abstract: Covid-19 Pandemic outbreak has become a global disease that has spread to every country in the world. Society is faced by a significant change in the order of social life. All activities are taught using daring methods. These things are the cause of many people experiencing problems such as increased anxiety and stress. It also affects parents who are forced to adapt to new realities and tend to feel stressed in accompanying children to learn daring. With this condition, it is important for parents to have resilience in the face of stress called resilience. The purpose of this study is to explain the importance of the role of parental resilience during the mentoring of home learning programs through the level of resilience and patterns of parental resilience during the mentoring of learning activities. The method used in this study is qualitative method with phenomenological approach. The analysis unit of this study is parents who accompany children to learn daring during the pandemic for approximately 1 year at least, from the level of grade 1-3 elementary school numbering 25 parents. The results showed that parental resilience is indispensable to motivate the child's learning, provide a sense of comfort and safety to the child, make the child happy during learning. This is shown through the results of quantitative surveys of parental resilience levels in the high category. Second, parental resilience patterns are shown by aspects of emotional regulation, impulse control, optimistic attitudes, empathy, problem analysis skills, and improved positive aspects.Keywords: Resilience; Parental Assistance; Studi from HomeAbstrak: Wabah Pandemi Covid-19 menjadi penyakit global yang telah menyebar ke setiap negara dunia. Masyarakat dihadapkan oleh perubahan tatanan kehidupan sosial yang signifikan. Seluruh kegiatan salah satunya belajar mengajar menggunakan metode daring. Berbagai hal ini menjadi penyebab banyak orang mengalami permasalahan seperti peningkatan kecemasan dan stress. Hal ini juga berdampak pada orangtua yang terpaksa beradaptasi dengan realitas baru dan cenderung merasa stress dalam mendampingi anak belajar daring. Dengan kondisi demikian, maka para orangtua penting untuk memiliki ketahanan diri dalam menghadapi stress yang disebut resiliensi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yakni untuk memaparkan pentingnya peran ketahanan orangtua selama pendampingan program belajar dari rumah melalui tingkat resiliensi dan pola resiliensi orangtua selama pendampingan kegiatan belajar. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologi. Unit analisis dari penelitian ini yakni orangtua yang mendampingi anak belajar daring di masa pandemi kurang lebih selama 1 tahun minimal, dari jenjang kelas 1-3 SD berjumlah 25 orangtua. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa resiliensi orangtua sangat diperlukan untuk memotivasi belajar anak, memberikan rasa nyaman dan aman pada anak, membuat anak senang selama belajar. Hal tersebut ditunjukkan melalui hasil survei kuantitatif tingkat resiliensi orangtua dalam kategori tinggi. Kedua, pola resiliensi orangtua ditunjukkan dengan aspek regulasi emosi, pengendalian impuls, sikap optimis, empati, kemampuan analisis masalah, dan peningkatan aspek positif.Kata Kunci: Ketahanan; Resiliensi; Pendampingan Orangtua; Belajar Dari Rumah

Abstract

It is essential for children in their early childhood to possess early literacy. Over the past decade, there has been relatively limited exploration of multisensory approaches to enhance literacy skills in early childhood. Consequently, this study aims to conduct a scoping review to identify and synthesize research supporting multisensory programs as an early literacy intervention for children. We conducted searches in seven databases that were published from 2012 to 2022, resulting in the inclusion of sixteen articles meeting the specified criteria. Our findings reveal several forms of multisensory programs that parents can carry out to improve early literacy skills: i) visual (e.g., drawing, interpreting the meaning of the words/sentences they read, playing with alphabet cards, reading words or sentences correctly, and reading labels on food and toy packaging); ii) auditory (e.g., singing, reading story books, mentioning letter sound symbols, spelling syllables, language activities, speeches, and storytelling); iii) kinesthetic (e.g., dividing words according to syllables in children using media strips, writing, clapping, marching, dancing, and drama); and iv) tactile (e.g., write the word with the index finger on the flannel/cloth). Most of the included studies employed experimental or quasi-experimental study designs. Thus, future studies are advised to incorporate randomized controlled trials.

Abstract

Aspek perkembangan norma, agama dan moral (NAM) adalah aspek penting yang harus diberikan pada anak sejak usia ini. Semakin berkembangnya teknologi di era digital, membuat kurang terstimulasinya aspek NAM bagi anak usia dini (AUD). Padahal orang tua memiliki peran penting dalam mendampingi anak untuk membentuk NAMnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan buku saku pendampingan orang tua untuk optimalisasi perkembangan NAM anak di era digital dengan pengembangan model 4D menggunakan angket dan wawancara. Subyek penelitian orang tua TK Y. Validator ahli materi dosen PG-PAUD dan validator ahli media guru TK Y. Teknik analisisnya deskripsi kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Hasil dari penelitian yang dilakukan menggambarkan buku tersebut layak digunakan, bermanfaat, dibutuhkan orang tua, memiliki tampilan menarik, kata-kata mudah dan kejelasan gambar sehingga memudahkan orang tua memahami isinya. Implikasi hasil penelitian ini adalah bertambahnya wawasan orang tua mengenai adanya media yang dapat mengambah pengetahuan berbentuk buku saku berisi pendampingan orang tua untuk optimalisasi perkembangan NAM anak di era digital.
