Abstract

Masa remaja menggambarkan periode yang penuh dengan perubahan dan tantangan emosional, dimana pikiran, perasaan, dan perilaku. Self control penting dimiliki individu dalam setiap aspek kehidupan. Rendahnya self control yang dimiliki oleh individu akan berdampak bagi perilaku agresifnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meninjau pelatihan self control memiliki dampak untuk menurunkan tingkat agresivitas pada siswa MAN 1 Bone. Adapun jumlah sampel pada penelitian ini dari 31 subjek terdapat 6 subjek laki-laki dan 25 subjek perempuan. Sampel penelitian ditentukan dengan metode purposive sampling. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pelatihan. Metode penelitian Hasil dalam penelitian ini menunjukkan nilai signifikansi sebesar  0,647 > 0,05,. Hal tersebut menunjukkan bahwa tidak terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara pelatihan kontrol diri terhadap perilaku agresivitas siswa MAN 1 Bone. Sehingga dapat dikatakan bahwa pelatihan self control tidak efektif dalam menurunkan tingkat agresivitas siswa MAN 1 Bone. Hasil yang diperoleh dalam penelitian ini dapat dipengaruhi oleh berbagai faktor seperti jumlah populasi, waktu pelatihan, materi pelatihan, dan estimasi pemberian post test.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji efektivitas intervensi psikoedukatif berbasis PURE Model dalam meningkatkan subjective well-being (SWB) pada individu dewasa yang mengalami pengangguran. Desain yang digunakan adalah mixed methods dengan model embedded, di mana pendekatan kuantitatif (Eksperimental) menjadi dominan dan data kualitatif mendukung pemahaman hasil. Tiga partisipan yang memenuhi kriteria dipilih melalui purposive sampling. Tahapan penelitian meliputi pre-test, intervensi psikoedukatif selama empat hari berdasarkan empat domain PURE Model (Purpose, Understanding, Responsibility, Evaluation), serta post-test. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah Life Satisfaction Scale, PANAS, dan Flourishing Scale. Analisis kuantitatif dilakukan menggunakan uji normalitas dan paired t-test dengan bantuan RStudio, sedangkan data refleksi dianalisis secara tematik. Hasil menunjukkan adanya peningkatan skor SWB, namun tidak signifikan secara statistik (p = 0,078). Meskipun demikian, analisis kualitatif menunjukkan transformasi positif dalam makna hidup, motivasi, dan sikap partisipan terhadap diri dan masa depan. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa intervensi berbasis makna dapat memperkuat kesejahteraan psikologis, terutama dalam situasi ketidakpastian pekerjaan. Dengan demikian, PURE Model dinilai potensial sebagai pendekatan alternatif dalam meningkatkan SWB pada kelompok rentan seperti pengangguran terdidik.

Abstract

The problem in this research is the high level of academic stress accompanied by unstable management of angry emotions. This research aims to find out whether the expressive writing method can reduce angry emotions and academic stress for high school students in Makassar City. The experimental design used was The One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The independent variable for this research is the expressive writing method and the dependent variables are the level of emotional anger and academic stress. Population on this research consisted of 622 students and the research sample was 22 students. Sample selection used non random sampling. Data were collected using the anger emotion scale and academic stress scale instruments. Data analysis uses descriptive statistical analysis and parametric analysis, namely the t test (Paired Sample T-Test). The research results showed that 1) there were differences in pretest/posttest scores for levels of academic stress and angry emotions which were divided into high, medium and low categories. 2) The implementation of expressive writing is carried out in accordance with the procedures designed through 4 sessions, namely recognition/initial write, examination/write exercise, Juxtapotitin/feedback, and application to the self. 3) There is a difference between the pretest and posttest scores on students' academic stress with a sig value (2-tailed) p= 0.016 (p<0.05) which means hypothesis 1 is accepted. 4) There was no difference between pretest and posttest scores on the management of students' angry emotions with a sig (2-tailed) value p = 0.0791 (p>0.05) which means hypothesis 2 was rejected.

Abstract

Mobile legends online game players from late childhood who are accustomed to receiving and uttering hate speech can impact moral development. This research aims to determine the description of hate speech and the moral development of children who become mobile legends online game players who express hate speech in late childhood. The method used in this research is a qualitative research method with a case study approach. The sampling technique used was the purposive sampling technique. The respondents in this study were two people in late childhood and four informants who were significant others. The results of the research show that the picture of hate speech obtained takes the form of dysphemism, labeling, and stereotypes. The hate speech uttered takes the form of euphemisms, dysphemisms and labeling. The moral development of mobile legends online game players from late childhood is different for each respondent. The conclusion in this research is that Respondent 1 is still adjusting to reach stage II of moral development and Respondent 2 is at stage III of moral development.

Abstract

Mahasiswa baru dituntut memiliki kemampuan penyesuaian diri yang baik ketika memasuki lingkungan perguruan tinggi agar dapat menghadapi tuntutan-tuntutan baik di bidang akademik, sosial, dan personal. Peran keluarga khususnya kelekatan orangtua dengan anak dapat memengaruhi tinggi rendahnya penyesuaian diri mahasiswa baru di perguruan tinggi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kelekatan orangtua-anak terhadap penyesuaian diri mahasiswa baru Fakultas Psikologi UNM. Responden penelitian ini berjumlah 227 orang dengan rentang usia 17-21 tahun. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada pengaruh positif kelekatan orangtua-anak terhadap penyesuaian diri mahasiswa baru Fakultas Psikologi UNM, dengan nilai F hitung 19,085 (> 3,035) dan nilai P 0,000 (< 0,05), sehingga semakin tinggi kelekatan orangtua-anak maka semakin tinggi pula penyesuaian diri mahasiswa baru. Nilai R square untuk kelekatan orangtua-anak sebesar 0,146 yang artinya kelekatan orangtua menyumbang pengaruh sebesar 14,6% terhadap penyesuaian diri mahasiswa baru. Penelitian ini diharapkan menjadi sumber informasi bagi mahasiswa baru mengenai pentingnya kelekatan orang tua-anak terhhadap kemampuan peneysuaian diri mahasiswa baru.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to find out an overview of the use of interactive multimedia learning for PAUD teachers. This research uses the library research method or literature review. Data was obtained through 9 scientific articles related to the use of multimedia, interactive learning, PAUD teachers. Data was analyzed using content analysis. The research results show that the use of interactive multimedia in learning can also increase understanding, positive emotions and behavior of PAUD children during the learning process. In conclusion, multimedia can be useful in increasing interaction between teachers and students in PAUD in the learning process. The implication of this research is to provide an understanding of the importance of improving teacher competence, especially in preparing interesting, innovative, efficient and effective learning media in accordance with the growth and development of early childhood in PAUD.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the benefits of the storytelling method on the social emotional abilities of young children. This research uses a library research method using data sources in the form of 9 scientific articles related to storytelling methods, social emotional abilities, early childhood. The data obtained was analyzed using content analysis with stages of problem identification, literature collection, literature analysis, interpretation and drawing up conclusions regarding the effectiveness of the storytelling method in improving the social emotional abilities of young children. The research results show that the storytelling method has proven to be effective in developing social emotional skills in early childhood. Through stories, children learn to recognize and manage their emotions, understand other people's feelings, and behave in accordance with applicable social norms. The application of this method in learning at PAUD can help improve social emotional skills which are important for preparing children to enter the next level of education. This research concludes that there is a positive impact of the storytelling method on improving socioemotional abilities in early childhood. The implications of this research can be useful for parents and PAUD teachers in using storytelling methods to stimulate socio-emotional abilities in early childhood

Abstract

Verbal aggression is a common phenomenon in online interactions and may vary depending on individual differences in trait argumentativeness. This study aims to examine the differences in verbal aggression based on trait argumentativeness among social media users. The participants were 504 social media users aged 18 years and above, recruited through accidental sampling. The research employed the Verbal Aggression Scale and the Trait Argumentativeness Scale as measurement instruments. Based on the trait argumentativeness scores, respondents were categorized into three groups: high, moderate, and low argumentativeness. Data were analyzed using non-parametric statistics with the Kruskal–Wallis test. The results indicated a significant difference in verbal aggression across the three groups (p = 0.001, p < 0.05). Post Hoc Dunn’s tests revealed that the high argumentativeness group significantly differed from both the moderate (p = 0.001) and low argumentativeness groups (p = 0.001). However, no significant difference was found between the moderate and low argumentativeness groups (p = 0.496, p > 0.05). The findings suggest that individuals characterized by higher levels of trait argumentativeness are more likely to display greater verbal aggression on social media than those with lower levels.

Abstract

Abstract. Happiness is a positive emotional state that can be observed and felt, and it varies between individuals. This study aims to determine whether there is a relationship between pet attachment and happiness in early adulthood. The participants in this study consisted of 201 individuals aged 20 to 29 years who owned pets. This research uses a quantitative method and purposive sampling. The instruments used were the Oxford Happiness Questionnaire (23 items; α = 0.872) and the Lexington Attachment to Pets Scale (16 items; α = 0.818). Data were analyzed using Spearman’s rho as a non-parametric correlation test to assess the relationship between pet attachment and happiness. The results showed no significant relationship between pet attachment and happiness in early adulthood (p = 0.350). This finding indicates that attachment to pets does not correlate with happiness. Data were also analyzed using the Mann-Whitney and Kruskal-Wallis tests to assess the significance of pet attachment and happiness between gender and groups of different durations of pet keeping. Additionally, the study found differences in happiness and pet attachment based on gender and duration of pet(s) keeping. The study also found that the duration of ownership contributes to happiness. This study indicates that pet ownership does not necessarily contribute to owners’ happiness, suggesting the need to consider other factors.Keywords: Early adulthood, happiness, pet attachment

Abstract

Fenomena meningkatnya kenakalan remaja sering dikaitkan dengan kurangnya dukungan sosial dari orang tua, terutama pada keluarga dengan orang tua yang memiliki kecenderungan workaholic. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh dukungan sosial orang tua terhadap kenakalan remaja laki-laki dengan orang tua workaholic di Kota Makassar. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan 222 subjek remaja laki-laki berusia 15–18 tahun yang dipilih melalui teknik accidental sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah skala dukungan sosial yang diadaptasi dari Social Provisions Scale (Cutrona & Russell, 1984) dan skala kenakalan remaja yang diadaptasi dari Self-Report Delinquency Scale (Mak, 1993). Hasil analisis regresi linier sederhana menunjukkan bahwa dukungan sosial orang tua berpengaruh negatif signifikan terhadap kenakalan remaja (p < 0,030; p < 0,05) dengan nilai R² sebesar 0,027, yang berarti variabel dukungan sosial menjelaskan 2,7% variasi kenakalan remaja laki-laki dengan orang tua workaholic. Temuan ini memperlihatkan bahwa semakin tinggi dukungan sosial orang tua, maka semakin rendah tingkat kenakalan remaja, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa dukungan sosial tetap menjadi faktor protektif penting meskipun orang tua memiliki keterbatasan waktu akibat pekerjaan.
