Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of compensation and work discipline on teacher loyalty in the Samarinda City District. The research method used is quantitative, using observational and survey approaches. The sample comprised 93 respondents, consisting of teachers in the Samarinda City District. Data were collected via a questionnaire distributed through Google Forms using a Likert scale. The data were analyzed using SPSS for validity and reliability testing, classical assumption testing, multiple linear regression, t-test, and F-test as model fit tests (Goodness of Fit), as well as the coefficient of determination (Adjusted R²). The results indicate that both compensation and work discipline have a positive effect on teacher loyalty. Improvements in fair compensation provision and consistent enforcement of work discipline can enhance teachers’ loyalty to their employing institution. The model fit test (Goodness of Fit) shows that the regression model used in this study meets the criteria for adequacy and significance, making it suitable for predicting teacher loyalty.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of work-life balance and work discipline on the loyalty of elementary school teachers in Samarinda City District. To achieve this goal, this study uses a quantitative approach involving 93 responded as a samples. Data collection techniques are carried out through observation, as well as distributing questionnaires to teachers. The data collected were analyzed using descriptive statistics. The results of the studies indicate that work-life balance and work discipline have a positive influence on the loyalty of elementary school teachers in Samarinda City District.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine whether capital adequacy and inefficiency affect the profitability of regional development banks in Indonesia for the period 2015-2022. The data analysis technique uses panel data regression. The population used is 26 Regional Development Banks listed in the Regional Development Bank Association. The sample consisted of 24 BPD banks with 192 observation data, which were carried out by purposive sampling. In this study, capital adequacy is measured using Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR), Inefficiency is measured by Operating Expenses Operating Income (BOPO) and profitability is measured using Return On Asset (ROA). The results showed that capital adequacy has a significant positive effect on profitability, and inefficiency has a significant negative effect on profitability

Abstract

This study aims to empirically examine the effect of managerial ownership and foreign ownership on company performance. Secondary data from 208 annual financial reports of companies in the trade, services, and investment sectors for the period 2021–2023 are used as panel data and analyzed using multiple linear regression, with Return on Assets (ROA) as a performance indicator. The results of the study indicate that managerial ownership and foreign ownership have no effect on company performance. Theoretically, these results indicate that ownership structure is not the main factor in driving performance, thus contributing to the development of governance theory in developing countries. Practically, these results serve as a reference for stakeholders to consider other more relevant factors in performance improvement strategies.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of women’s per capita expenditure and women’s expected years of schooling on the number of poor people in Indonesia. The research uses a quantitative approach with secondary time-series data obtained from official publications of the Badan Pusat Statistik covering the period 2014–2024. The data were analyzed using multiple linear regression after conducting classical assumption tests to ensure the reliability of the model. The results show that women’s per capita expenditure has a negative influence on poverty, indicating that higher levels of women’s economic welfare tend to reduce the number of poor people. Meanwhile, women’s expected years of schooling show a positive but not significant relationship with poverty. Overall, both variables together contribute to explaining variations in poverty levels. These findings suggest that improving women’s economic conditions plays an important role in poverty reduction efforts. However, this study is limited by the relatively short observation period. Therefore, future research is recommended to expand the observation period and include additional variables to obtain more comprehensive results regarding the factors influencing poverty in Indonesia. Abstract

Riset ini menguji dampak earning power dan aset pajak tangguhan terhadap manajemen laba pada perusahaan makanan dan minuman yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia. Jenis riset yang digunakan yaitu pendekatan kuantitatif dengan memanfaatkan data sekunder. Populasi riset terdiri dari 42 perusahaan makanan dan minuman yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia periode 2014-2023. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan metode purposive sampling dan dokumentasi, didapatkan 8 perusahaan yang memenuhi beberapa keriteria sehingga menghasilkan 80 data observasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan pada riset ini yakni teknik analisis regresi linier berganda dengan pengujian asumsi klasik terlebih dahulu. Secara parsial manajemen laba dipengaruhi secara positif dan signifikan oleh earning power, aset pajak tangguhan tidak berpengaruh terhadap manajemen laba. Secara simultan earning power dan aset pajak tangguhan berpengaruh terhadap manajemen laba

Abstract

Pengaruh Gaya Kepemimpinan Transfromasional Dan Lingkungan Kerja Terhadap Kepuasan Kerja Pegawai Dinas Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan Provinsi Kalimantan Timur. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana hubungan antara gaya kepemimpinan transformasional terhadap kepuasan kerja dan lingkungan kerja terhadap kepuasan kerja pegawai Dinas Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan Provinsi Kalimantan Timur. Penelitian ini juga dilakukan dengan menggunakan penelitian kuantitatif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menyebarkan kuesioner angket secara langsung pada pegawai sehingga sangat efektif. Populasi penelitian ini adalah sejumlah 86 pegawai Dinas Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan Provinsi Kalimantan Timur. Sampel ditentukan dengan sampling jenuh atau sensus untuk mengidentifikasi sampel dengan sasaran pegawai Dinas Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan Provinsi Kalimantan Timur jumlah sebanyak 71 responden. Analisis data yang digunakan dalam uji instrumen penelitian, uji asumsi klasik, uji regresi linier berganda dan uji hipotesis dengan bantuan SPSS 27.0 untuk mengalisis data. Penelitian ini digunakan menggunakan teori manajemen sumber daya manusia. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa gaya kepemimpinan transformasional (X1) secara parsial berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja (Y), dan lingkungan kerja (X2) secara parsial berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja (Y), dan gaya kepemimpinan transformasional (X1) dan lingkungan kerja (X2) berpengaruh secara simultan signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja (Y)

Abstract

Employee performance is an important indicator of organizational effectiveness, particularly in public sector institutions that rely on human resources to support administrative services and digital governance. Work motivation and organizational communication are considered key factors that can influence employee performance. This study aims to analyze the effect of work motivation and work communication on employee performance at the Department of Communication and Informatics of East Kalimantan Province. The research employed a quantitative approach using a survey method. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to 94 employees selected using simple random sampling from a population of 123 employees. Data analysis was conducted using multiple linear regression with the assistance of SPSS. The results show that work motivation has a significant effect on employee performance (Sig. = 0.035). Work communication also has a significant effect on employee performance (Sig. = 0.038). Furthermore, work motivation and work communication simultaneously have a significant influence on employee performance. These findings indicate that strengthening employee motivation and improving communication within the organization play an important role in enhancing employee performance in government institutions.
