Abstract

This study discusses the implication of  Film Induced Tourism on Netflix series Twogether , episode “Let’s Find Out Whose Fan Living Here?”Yogyakarta, toward the society and tourism promotion. There is a phenomenon, in which many people have curiosity after watching the series. They want to visit the locations used for filming. Many online platforms have responded positively to the Netflix series Twogether. This study aims to determine the impact of implementing Film Induced Tourism on local community, especially the impact of the Netflix series Twogether and to determine the effect of the Netflix series Twogether that can make people want to visit the location. This research was conducted using a qualitative method – content analysis in which researchers collected data through an online platform and also by conducting interviews with related informan who are directly imfluenced by the film and directly involved in making the Netflix series Twogether. Based on the results of data analysis, Film Induced Tourism received a positive response from the community, and also also influence tourist destinations promotion.

Abstract

ABSTRAK                                                               Penurunan jumlah kunjungan wisatawan yang drastis akibat pandemi Covid19 membuat seluruh destinasi dan atraksi wisata menutup sementara akses kunjungan bagi wisatawan. Penutupan tersebut juga berdampak pada menurunnya pendapatan para pelaku usaha pariwisata, termasuk mitra abdimas yaitu kelompok sadar wisata (Pokdarwis) di Desa Wisata Peniwen. Namun, seiring adanya penerapan tatanan normal baru (New Normal) dalam industri pariwisata, para pelaku wisata termasuk Pokdarwis Desa Wisata Peniwen bersemangat untuk membuka kembali usaha pariwisata mereka. Adanya Protokol Cleanliness, Health, Security, Environment Sustainability (CHSE) menjadi perhatian tersendiri bagi pelaku usaha pariwisata khususnya Pokdarwis Desa Wisata Peniwen. Pelatihan protokol CHSE di Desa Wisata Peniwen dilakukan dengan Kerjasama Universitas Ciputra Surabaya dan Kemenparekraf yang bertujuan untuk membekali pelaku usaha pariwisata dalam memenuhi standar berwisata sesuai tatanan normal baru pada masa pandemi. Dari pelatihan tersebut, pengelola Desa Wisata Peniwen mendapatkan pemahaman mengenai protokol kesehatan yang aplikatif untuk dapat diterapkan di setiap lini bisnis yang ada, dengan tujuan menjamin keamanan dan kenyamanan wisatawan. Selain itu, keberlanjutan dari wisata desa yang ada di Desa Wisata Peniwen dapat terjamin dan usaha penduduk dari sektor pariwisata dapat berangsur pulih. Kata kunci: Pandemi Covid 19; Protokol CHSE; Desa Wisata; Tatanan Normal Baru  ABSTRACTThe number of tourists visit that drastically decreased due to Covid19 pandemic resulted to the temporary closing of all accesses to the destination and the attraction. The closing impacted on the revenue decline for those who ran tourism business, including the community service’s partner that is Tourism Awareness Group (Pokdarwis) in Peniwen Tourism Village. However, as the new normal implemented in tourism industry, all tourism business runners also for Pokdarwis in Peniwen Tourism Village were eager to reopen their business. The presence of Cleanliness, Health, Security, and Environment Sustainability (CHSE) Protocol becomes particular concern especially Pokdarwis of Peniwen Tourism Village in restoring tourist visit and strengthening the business of its residents. The training of CHSE protocol in Peniwen Tourism Village was conducted through collaboration between Universitas Ciputra Surabaya and Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy (Kemenparekraf) aimed to equip tourism business runners in fulfilling tourism standard in accordance with new normal. From the training, Peniwen Tourism Village management gained the insight regarding the applicative health protocol to be implemented in each existed business line to ensure tourists’ safety and comfort. Moreover, the sustainability of village tourism in Peniwen Tourist Village and residents’ business in tourism sector will gradually recover. Keywords: Covid 19 Pandemic; CHSE Protocol; Tourism Village; New Normal

Abstract

Trowulan selama ini dikenal sebagai salah satu daerah di Propinsi Jawa Timur yang memiliki kekayaan budaya dan seni yang sangat beragam yang terlihat terlihat dari peninggalan-peninggalan arsitektur bersejarah dan pola hidup masyarakatnya yang kental dengan kesenian. Kekayaan budaya dan seni tersebut merupakan potensi sekaligus peluang bagi daerah Trowulan untuk dapat mengembangkan pariwisatanya agar dapat semakin dikenal oleh wisatawan baik domestik maupun mancanegara sebagai kawasan wisata heritage. Agar pengembangan wisata heritage di Trowulan bisa berjalan dengan baik, tentu saja diperlukan peran dari para stakeholder pariwisata yang salah satunya adalah keterlibatan masyarakat lokal Trowulan. Keterlibatan tersebut berupa partisipasi dan kontribusi nyata secara aktif dari masyarakat lokal sebagai tuan rumah di kawasan tersebut. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis sikap, kesadaran dan partisipasi atau keterlibatan masyarakat lokal Trowulan dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif-kuantitatif dalam kaitannya dengan pengembangan wisata heritage yang bermuara pada upaya peningkatan wisata heritage berbasis peran serta masyarakat lokal atau lebih dikenal dengan istilah community-based tourism. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa masyarakat lokal secara umum memiliki persepsi yang positif terhadap pengembangan wisata heritage di daerah Trowulan, namun antusiasme untuk terlibat dan berpartisipasi masih belum terlalu optimal.

Abstract

In the hospitality industry, the quality of service to customers is the most important thing. This requires the best participation of all employees for a company, which may lead to an increase of an individual performance. This study aims to examine the effect of organizational commitment toward organizational citizenship behavior (OCB) and employee performance. This research uses 144 employees of 3, 4 and 5 star hotels in Surabaya as the samples. The data was collected through questionnaires and processed using SmartPLS software. The findings generated from this study reveal that organizational commitment has a positive and significant effect on employee performance directly and through OCB as mediating factors. OCB itself also has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. The practical implication that can be suggested to hotel management is to enhance a holistic approach on the employees in order to increase emotional attachment of the employee toward the company. As the result, the employee sense of belonging on the company will increase, which make them also be responsible for the company's success. Abstract

Basically, the concept of tourism development and promotion using the Slum Tourism/Poverty Tourism concept is good for projection in tourism development and promotion because tourists directly interact with local communities, increase their sense of human dignity, and offer new ideas to create new ideas. However, this concept has clashes that are not in line with the concept of Indonesian tourism branding, namely "Pesona Indonesia" which shows the natural beauty and beauty of Indonesia. Therefore, this research aims to analyze the concept of Slum Tourism in developing and promoting Indonesian tourism as a solution or problem. The data used in this research is secondary data using library research data collection techniques. The data collected was analyzed using the smart PLS 3.0 method. Abstract

Wakatobi is a tourist destination that has potentials for remarkable natural beauty. The Indonesian government is also aggressively promoting Wakatobi through the making of the video Wonderful Indonesia: A Visual Journey. However, the tourist visiting rate in Wakatobi is still not very high. Therefore, this study aims to determine the effect of the promotional video on brand image and interest in visiting Wakatobi. This study involved 151 people as samples and the results showed that promotional videos are able to have a positive and significant influence on brand image and tourist visiting interest. Likewise, the brand image is able to provide a positive and significant influence on tourist visiting interest

Abstract

Pelayanan di hotel adalah suatu bentuk seni. Staffnya yang selalu ramah dan tersenyum membuat tamu merasa istimewa. Namun, di hotel terkadang tidak lepas dari masalah dan keluhan. Oleh karena itu, penanganan keluhan yang baik sangat diperlukan oleh sebuah hotel dan departemen yang paling sering berhadapan dengan hal itu adalah front office. Berdasarkan hal tersebut tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisa Handling Complaint Front Office di The Apurva Kempinski Bali. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif pendekatan deskriptif. Data dikumpulkan melalui metode observasi dan wawancara. Reduksi data dilakukan dengan merangkum, memilih, dan mencatat data penting yang diperoleh dari lapangan agar menjadi informasi yang akurat. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah kinerja departemen front office dalam menangani keluhan tamu sudah sangat baik, hal ini dibuktikan dengan banyaknya review positif yang berasal dari tamu di OTA dan sesuai data GRI (Global Review Index). Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini merupakan kinerja front office The Apurva Kempinski Bali yang baik, didukung oleh berbagai faktor seperti sistem yang mempertahankan kualitas complaint handlingtim dan pelatihan yang menjaga kualitas dari pelayanan staff.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of digital transformation on productivity and profitability of SMEs in the trading sector in Surabaya City. Data were collected through a survey involving 50 SMEs that have adopted digital technology. The results show that the use of digital technologies, including e-commerce, inventory management systems, and online payments, significantly improves the operational efficiency and profitability of SMEs. Most SMEs reported increased sales and profit margins after adopting digital technologies. However, lack of technological know-how and budget constraints are the main challenges in the digital transformation process. Therefore, support from the government and relevant institutions is needed to provide training and financial assistance to encourage wider adoption of digital technologies. This research provides an in-depth insight into the benefits and challenges of digital transformation for SMEs in Surabaya, and provides recommendations to accelerate the adoption of digital technology among SMEs

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze and determine market development strategies in the tourism industry. This research approach collects data through literature studies, which involve reading literature from various sources including books, journals and reports using qualitative and deductive approaches. The findings in this study are that there are strategies for developing facilities and infrastructure to support the tourism industry, namely the strategy for developing local community-based accommodation, and the strategy for developing supporting facilities with the concept of an agropolitan area, including restaurant or food stall facilities, ATM facilities, and rest areas. In addition, there are also market development strategies in the tourism industry, including market segmentation, use of technology, collaboration with stakeholders, product innovation, and sustainability.
