Abstract

This study aims to determine the role of the teacher's code of ethics in improving the quality of Christian education learning based on John 13:12-15 in schools. This study uses a qualitative method. The results of the study show that the role of the teacher's code of ethics in schools. Christian Religious Education has been well implemented, but there are still some obstacles in the role of a code of ethics in improving the quality of Christian religious education. These obstacles include the lack of socialization of the teacher's code of ethics to teachers, the teacher's lack of understanding of the teacher's code of ethics, and the lack of sanctions given to teachers who violate the code of ethics. To improve the quality of education, PAK educational institutions must apply John 13:12-15 as a guideline, namely to increase teacher competency through training and seminars, apply innovative learning methods, and develop a quality evaluation system. From the results of this study it is suggested for schools to further increase socialization regarding the role of the teacher's code of ethics, increase teachers' understanding of the code of ethics, and provide strict sanctions to teachers who violate the code of ethics.

This research aims to explain the importance of a teacher's code of ethics as a basis for behavior to maintain teacher professionalism in implementing Christian religious education in schools. In this research, a qualitative research method was used with literature study as a tool to collect data and then present it descriptively. From this research, it can be concluded that the application of a teacher's code of ethics as a basis for behavior plays a central role in forming a learning environment with integrity and responsibility. Abstract

Poverty is a multidimensional issue that involves not only economic deprivation but also social, moral, and spiritual aspects. Efforts to eradicate poverty form an essential part of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), which require the participation of all sectors, including educational institutions and religious organizations. This study aims to analyze the role of Christian education and educational philosophy in fostering awareness, character, and social action oriented toward justice and equality. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, the research examines the relationship between biblical values-such as love, justice, solidarity, and service-and philosophical thought in education. The findings indicate that Christian education contributes to shaping faith sensitivity and moral responsibility toward the poor, while educational philosophy cultivates critical and rational awareness in confronting social injustice. The integration of these two perspectives gives rise to a holistic and transformative educational approach that encompasses intellectual, moral, spiritual, and social dimensions. This study emphasizes that poverty alleviation is not solely an economic or governmental task but also a calling of faith and an educational mission to humanize humanity. In the context of the modern era-marked by social inequality and globalization-the collaboration between faith, knowledge, and social action becomes the key to creating a more just, equitable, and humane world.

Abstract

This study explores the concept of freedom in classical philosophy by examining its relevance for constructing individual freedom in the modern context. Within contemporary culture where freedom is often reduced to absolute autonomy devoid of ethical grounding there emerges a crisis of meaning expressed through nihilism, hedonism, and radical individualism. Through a hermeneutical-philosophical approach, this study reinterprets the views of classical philosophers such as Socrates, Plato, Aristotle, and the Stoics, who understand freedom not as the absence of limits but as a moral and rational disposition that directs human beings toward self-mastery (enkrateia), practical wisdom (phronēsis), and a life in harmony with the cosmic moral order. The analysis shows that the classical philosophical tradition conceives freedom as a dual existential structure: external freedom, which demands liberation from external domination, and internal freedom, which is realized through moral discipline, the ordering of the soul, and the alignment of the will with logos. This perspective offers a corrective framework to modern conceptions of freedom that tend to be fragmented between the assertion of individual rights and a crisis of moral orientation. The theoretical gap addressed in this research lies in the absence of a comprehensive integration between classical virtue ethics and modern theories of freedom centered on subjective autonomy. The novelty of this study is its presentation of a conceptual synthesis that situates freedom as a dynamic relationship between rights, rationality, and moral responsibility. Thus, the study underscores the urgency of restoring a paradigm of freedom grounded in moral excellence not merely as a theoretical discourse but as a foundation for cultivating mature and responsible individual freedom.

Abstract

- The history of human salvation was initiated by God. God created man in God's own image and likeness, God created man for the purpose of His glory. Humans were created based on the standards that exist in God both morally and spiritually. Humans are given the power to maintain and be representatives of God over the universe. Before the devil was cast on earth, the fellowship between humans and God was good, but when humans fell into the devil's trap and followed what the devil wanted at that time the human relationship with God was cut off and humans had to face the consequences of being cut off from the source of life and being in the shadows. - shadow of death. Soteriology (the doctrine of salvation) is the broadest subject in the Bible. This is because it covers all of eternity in both the past and the future. Salvation relates to all mankind through the sacrifice of the Lord Jesus Christ. Through this paper, the author explains twelve concepts of salvation from a Christian perspective.
