Abstract

Kuttab education, as a traditional Islamic educational institution that has played an important role in educating generations of Muslims since medieval times, is now facing great challenges in the digital era. Advances in technology and changes in people's lifestyles have had a significant impact on the way of learning and teaching. This study aims to explore the revitalization efforts of Kuttab education in the face of digital transformation, focusing on curriculum adaptation, information technology utilization, and community involvement in the education process. The method used in this research is a qualitative approach with literature studies, interviews with educational practitioners, as well as direct observation in several Kuttab institutions that have begun to integrate digital technology in their learning process. The results showed that the revitalization of Kuttab in the digital era does not only involve updating teaching materials, but also the need to develop digital competencies for teachers and students. The use of digital learning platforms, Quran-based applications, and distance learning are some of the innovations that support the effectiveness of Kuttab education in this era. This study concludes that Kuttab education that integrates digital technology has great potential to expand access to quality Islamic religious education, while maintaining the traditional values that characterize Kuttab education.

Abstract

Abstrak Penggunaan gawai di kalangan generasi muda sangat mengkhawatirkan karena rentan terpapar berbahaya seperti kekerasan, perjudian, pornografi, hingga perdagangan manusia. Kondisi ini terbukti nyata dengan kasus kehamilan remaja putri di tingkat SMP dan SMA di Ponorogo yang menunjukkan lemahnya pengawasan orang tua, dan penggunaan gawai anak-anak tanpa kendali orang tua. Program pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk membantu orang tua dalam memantau dan mengawasi penggunaan gawai anak-anak mereka dengan memanfaatkan aplikasi Family Link. Kegiatan dilakukan melalui sosialisasi, pelatihan, dan pendampingan praktip penggunaan aplikasi bagi orang tua. Mitra dalam kegiatan ini adalah Pengurus Daerah Aisyiyah Muhammadiyah di Kota Semarang yang mengelola lembaga pendidikan di tingkat kelompok bermain, taman kanak-kanak, dan sekolah dasar. Kegiatan ini melibatkan orang tua dan guru sebanyak 131 peserta. Hasil kegiayan menunjukkan bahwa orang tua dapat lebih memahami cara kerja aplikasi Family Link dan mampu menerapkannya dalam kehidupan sehari-hari untuk memantau situs yang dikunjungi anak, membatasi penggunaan gawi, serta melacak aktivitas mereka di luar rumah. Dengan demikian, kegiatan ini memberikan Langkah pencegahan terhadap paparan internet yang buruk serta mempekuat komunikasi antara orang tua dan anak dan meningkatkan peran keluarga dalam pengawasan anak. Kata kunci: aplikasi family link; internet safety; kontrol orang tua; pergaulan remaja Abstract The use of gadgets among the younger generation is increasingly concerning due to their vulnerability to harmful exposure such as violence, gambling, pornography, and even human trafficking. The proof of this issue was shown by cases of teenage pregnancy among junior and senior high school students in Ponorogo, which highlights the lack of parental supervision, and excessive use of children’s gadgets without proper parental supervision. This community service program was designed to help parents monitor and supervise their children’s gadget usage through an application called Family Link. The program was implemented through socialisation, training, and monitoring sessions while parents practiced using the application. This program was conducted in collaboration with the Regional Board of Aisyiyah in Semarang city, which manages educational institutions at the preschool, kindergarten, and elementary school levels. The program involved 131 participants, consisting of parents of teachers. The results show that parents gained a better understanding of how the Family Link application works and were able to apply it in daily life to monitor the websites visited by their children, limit screen time, and track their activities outside the home. Thus, this program provided a preventive measure against harmful internet exposure, strengthened parent-child communication, and enhanced the role of families in supervising chilren. Keywords: family link application; internet safety; parental control; teenager socializing.

Abstract

Tantangan Pendidikan di era revolusi industry 4.0 memberikan pengaruh yang besar terhadap perkembangan ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi, Muhammadiyah sebagai organisasi Islam Modern di Indonesia yang memiliki kontribusi yang positif terhadap perkembangan dunia Pendidikan fokus mengembangkan Lembaga Pendidikan yang memiliki daya saing sehingga mampu menjawab kebutuhan peserta didik dalam menjawab tantangan yang ada. Oleh karena itu diperlukan pendidik yang memiliki karakter yang jujur, bertanggungjawab, terbuka dan memiliki kemampuan menyelesaikan permasalahan dengan tepat guna mencapai kinerja yang optimal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh pada kepemimpinan guru muhammadiyah pada jenjang pendidikan menengah atas sederajat. Populasi penelitian ini adalah tenaga pendidik di Amal Usaha Muhammadiyah di Kabupaten X yang terfokus pada guru SMA sederajat. Adapun karateristik populasi penelitian ini adalah Guru sekolah menengah atas di amal usaha Muhammadiyah Kabupaten X yang telah bekerja minimal bekerja 1 tahun. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan prophhetic leadership terhadap kinerja guru dengan sumbangan efektif sebesar 47,7%.

Abstract

Education has become an increasing focus of attention in this modern era, especially with the shift in the learning paradigm that accompanies technological developments and changing societal needs. This article explores the transformation in the role of teachers, curriculum innovation according to the development of the education world and needs, the use of technology-based learning media, and identifying challenges such as technology gaps, cultural adaptation, professionalism of educators, and education management are still obstacles in realizing an ideal learning system. Therefore, modern education must continue to develop holistically to create a learning ecosystem that is inclusive, flexible, and relevant to the needs of the times.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to develop an Inclusive Education Performance Evaluation (IEPE) Model in Elementary Schools (ES). This research uses a Mixed Methods approach. The research method was modified from the Borg & Gall model and involves School Principals, Teachers, and Parents. Data were collected through Focus Group Discussion (FGD), interviews, observations, and documentation studies. The research findings show that (1) the IEPE model is one of the best evaluation models based on the assessment results of experts and practitioners of inclusive education implementation in elementary schools; (2) the performance evaluation model for elementary schools implementing inclusive education consists of seven components: leadership, strategic planning, focus on students-parents, needs analysis, focus on teachers-staff, inclusive classroom management, and results; and (3) the evaluation of the IEPE model in the implementation process at elementary schools is capable of revealing data that is: (a) comprehensive; (b) factual; (c) flexible; and (d) diversity-oriented service.

Abstract

Insan kamil merupakan jati diri yang mengidealkan kesatuan nama dan sifat-sifat Tuhan kedalam hakikat atau esensi dirinya. Dalam pengertian ini esensial dan sifat-sifat ilahi tersebut pada dasarnya juga menjadi milik manusia sempurna oleh adanya hak fundamental, yaitu sebagai suatu keniscayaan yang inheren dalam esensi dirinya. Hal itu dinyatakan dalam ungkapan yang sering didengaar yaitu Tuhan berfungsi sebagai cermin bagai manusia dan manusia sebagai cermin untuk melihat diri-Nya. Pendidikan yang berlandaskan nilai-nilai Islam menekankan adanya penggunaan akal diimbangi dengan iman yang berpusat di qolb dan dilakukan oleh jasad yang sehat dan kuat, sehingga melalui keteladanan, cerita (kisah), ceramah dan nasehat serta kebiasaan akan membentuk insan kamil, insan kamil berdasarkan konsep Islam. Transformasi nilai, intelektual dan budaya akan terjadi, jika kita mempunyai semangat yang sama dalam pencapaian insan kamil tentunya didukung satu sistem dan sarana pendidikan Islam yang memadai yaitu dengan adanya institusi pendidikan Islam.

Abstract

Komitmen organisasi merupakan keterkaitan individu terhadap organisasi, sehingga individu sebagai anggota organisasi mampu memahami tujuan organisasi dan memiliki keinginan bekerja dan berkontribusi secara maksimal bagi organisasi. Nasyiatul Aisyiyah merupakan organisasi otonom Muhammadiyah memiliki peran penting dalam mewujudkan Perempuan Islam yang maju dan secara berkesinambungan mampu memberikan kontribusi terhadap Masyarakat. Komitmen organisasi dipengaruhi kesiapan individu untuk berubah dan gaya kepemimpinan. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk memberikan gambaran peran kepemimpinan otentik terhadap komitmen organisasi terhadap perubahan melalui kesiapan individu untuk berubah sebagai variabel mediator pada pimpinan Nasyiatul Aisyiyah di Kabupaten Jember. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan penelitian kuantitatif asosiatif. Jumlah subjek pada penelitian ini sebanyak 109 orang. Teknik sampling menggunakan accidental sampling. Teknik analisis yang digunakan yakni regresi linier. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa peran readiness to change pada komitmen organisasi tidaklah signifikan. Selain itu melalui uji parsial diperoleh hasil bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara kepemimpinan terhadap komitmen organisasi.

Abstract

Learners of English as a second language (L2) whose first language (L1) is Indonesian tend to struggle to produce aspirated consonants. This study investigates whether the difficulties came from the interference of the L1 for the production of these sounds: [k], [b], [d], [g] in the final positions, and [p] and [t] in the stressed syllable. This study involved two cohorts of English department university students with different levels of fluency in L2 speech production. The L2 learners were asked to pronounce 25 words from a textbook previously used to teach them. The L2 learners were exposed to a British English-speaking speech model, which became a benchmark for the L2 learners' pronunciation by asking them to imitate the pronunciation. Annotation of data was conducted twice by a second annotator to ensure the objectivity of the scores given to the L2 learners which was analised using paired sample t-test. Findings suggest that the sounds with the lowest success rate of production were [p] in the stressed syllable, [k], and [g] in the final position. The production was unsuccessful because the L2 learners did not have phonological awareness of how the L2 consonant sounds were produced near-natively and were affected by their L1. The lack of awareness led to the failure to produce [p], [k], and [g] sounds because these sounds did not exist in their L1 and interference of the L1 was embed to the L2 speech production. The format analysis results using PRAAT indicate that there is an improvement in the participants' pronunciation after exposure to the native speaker's speech sound. The implication of this research is paramount for L2 learners and lecturers in highlighting the importance of targeted instruction and intervention to address the challenges in speech production. Contrasting the phonetic features of L1 and L2 sounds helped the learners to defer interference in their L2 speech production. This study encourages continuous assessment of L2 learners to ensure that they maintain the consistency of speech production to sound near-native.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pengalaman microteaching dan pengalaman asistensi mengajar terhadap career decision making on teaching melalui internal locus of control sebagai variabel intervening. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan populasi mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Administrasi Perkantoran Angkatan 2021 dengan jumlah 85 mahasiswa. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah purposive sampling, dengan jumlah responden 70 mahasiswa. Analisis data yang digunakan yaitu Partial Least Square Structural Equation Model (PLS-SEM) dengan alat analisis data menggunakan SmartPLS 4.0. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa (1) pengalaman microteaching tidak berpengaruh terhadap career decision making on teaching; (2) pengalaman asistensi mengajar berpengaruh terhadap career decision making on teaching; (3) pengalaman microteaching berpengaruh terhadap internal locus of control; (4) pengalaman asistensi mengajar berpengaruh terhadap internal locus of control ; (5) internal locus of control berpengaruh terhadap career decision making on teaching; (6) pengalaman microteaching tidak berpengaruh terhadap career decision making on teaching melalui internal locus of control; (7) pengalaman asistensi mengajar berpengaruh terhadap career decision making on teaching melalui internal locus of control.
