Abstract

The advancement of aviation technology and growing airspace demand have introduced the Higher Airspace Operation (HAO) concept, which manages airspace above FL550 (55,000 feet). Globally, regions like the United States and the European Union are developing regulatory and technological systems to integrate HAO into existing air traffic management. In contrast, Indonesia’s readiness remains limited due to the lack of specific regulations, infrastructure, and surveillance capabilities. This study assesses Indonesia’s preparedness to adopt HAO through a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) and expert interviews. Findings indicate the need for adaptive policies aligned with technological progress, improved communication, navigation, and surveillance systems, and comprehensive legal frameworks to support emerging airspace vehicles such as High-Altitude Platform Systems (HAPS), suborbital aircraft, and reentry vehicles. The research also proposes a dynamic, collaborative operational model suited to Indonesia’s unique geographical conditions and institutional environment.

Abstract

Every manufacturing company such as PT. XYZ always wants effective and efficient production activities, poor facility layout can result in several problems that can later disrupt production activities in manufacturing companies. This study aims to redesign the layout of production facilities and minimize transportation time and identify the causes of production obstacles. The existing layout is analyzed using the Activity Relationship Chart (ARC) and Activity Relationship Diagram (ARD) methods to determine the level of importance between work stations followed by calculating the standard time of each Bomb P-500 Practice production process to determine the transportationtimeintheprocesswithresearchvalidationusing flexsimsimulation.TheresultsoftheActivityRelationshipChart (ARC) and Activity Relationship Diagram (ARD) analysis produced a proposed layout with a more effective and efficient travel distance and transportation time when compared to the initial layout with a comparison that the travel distance of the proposedlayoutis53.2%shorterwithadistancereductionof191 metersandthetotaltransportationtimeoftheproposedlayoutis 53.4% faster with a transportation time reduction of 28.01 minutes while in the simulation conducted the travel distance of theproposedlayoutis32.3%shorterwitha distancereductionof 82.03meters.

Abstract

Virtual Customer Assistant (VICA) adalah salah satu layanan customer yang disediakan oleh PT Angkasa Pura I di Yogyakarta International Airport (YIA), dalam upaya untuk meningkatkan excellent services dan meminimalisir penularan virus Covid-19. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis penggunaan Virtual Customer Assistant (VICA) terhadap efektivitas dan efisiensi layanan penumpang.Hal yang dianalisis adalah respon penumpang terhadap tingkat efektivitas dan efisiensi dengan metode kuantitatif deskriptif. Pengambilan data dengan menyebarkan kuesioner kepada 100 responden (penumpang), wawancara dan rekomendasi peneliti. Hasil pengumpulan data diolah menggunakan IBM Statistics SPSS 25 dan perhitungan manual untuk mencari persentase skor. Hasil analisis semua instrumen dinyatakan valid dan reliabel, tiap aspek varibel masuk dalam kategori >81,25%-100% sehingga dinyatakan Sangat Efektif dan atau Efisien. Rekomendasi layanan dengan menambahkan tempat dan disediakan layanan customer yang dikembangkan dengan Artificial Inteligence (AI).
