Abstract

Purpose: This study aims to investigate and analyze the impact of emotional intelligence on academic achievement in Islamic religious education among junior high school students. Method: This research uses quantitative methods using inferential analysis. The population in this study were students at SMPN 2 Sigi with a total of 277 people with a sample size of 164 students. Result: The research findings indicate a notable correlation between emotional intelligence and learning achievement in Islamic religious education subjects at SMPN 2 Sigi. This is evident through hypothesis testing where the coefficient value for the Emotional Intelligence variable is 0.760, with a standard error of 0.036, and a t-statistic value of 21.104, with a significance level of less than 0.05. Conclusion: The research concluded that emotional intelligence exhibits a significant and positive association with academic achievement in Islamic Religious Education among junior high school students.

Abstract

This research aims to improve student learning outcomes through the implementation a teaching module using the Culturally Responsive Teaching (CRT) approach and the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model to on proportional comparison material. The study employs a quantitative approach with a Pre-Experimental Design method and a One-Group Pretest-Posttest design. The research subjects were 28 seventh-grade students at SMP Islamic Leader School, Tasikmalaya. The teaching module was designed to include teaching materials, learning steps, student worksheets (LKPD), as well as diagnostic assessments and culturally-based assessment rubrics. The results of the study show a significant improvement in the average student learning outcomes, from 54.17 on the pretest to 84.52 on the posttest. Statistical analysis using the Paired Sample t-Test produced a Sig. (2-tailed) value of 0.000 < 0.05, indicating that the application of the CRT approach with the PBL model is effective in improving student learning outcomes. This study makes a significant contribution to culturally relevant and meaningful mathematics learning for students. Abstract

The rapid advancement of digital technology has significantly transformed content distribution and consumption patterns while simultaneously increasing the vulnerability to digital copyright infringement. This article explores the application of blockchain technology as a strategic solution for protecting digital content copyright, particularly in the Indonesian context. Utilizing a literature review method, the study investigates key blockchain features transparency, decentralization, immutability, and smart contract automation that enhance the integrity and security of intellectual property rights management. Blockchain enables the permanent and tamper-proof recording of content ownership and creation timestamps, while also facilitating automated royalty distribution without third-party intervention. These capabilities make blockchain an efficient mechanism for copyright verification and real-time rights tracking. However, blockchain adoption in Indonesia still faces significant challenges, including limited digital literacy among creative industry actors, inadequate technological infrastructure, and the absence of clear legal frameworks supporting its implementation in the field of intellectual property rights. The study also highlights initial initiatives across various sectors, such as education, music, and digital art, where blockchain has been employed to secure content through NFTs and decentralized copyright registration platforms. Findings emphasize the need for multi-sector collaboration, the establishment of supportive regulations, and technological education to ensure the successful implementation of blockchain-based copyright systems. Overall, blockchain has the potential to serve as a transformative pillar in developing a fairer, more transparent, and sustainable copyright protection ecosystem in the digital era.
