Abstract

Introduction: There has been a decrease in access to antiretroviral (ARV) services due to concerns of PLHIV infected with COVID-19, recommendations for quarantine by the government and health facility functions that are focused on dealing with the COVID-19 emergency. This study aims to determine the relationship between social factors of people living with HIV/AIDS and access to ARV services during the COVID-19 pandemic in Kediri Regency/City. Method: This study used a cross-sectional design with 107 respondents. Variables of social factors are relationship status, social support, residence status and peer community participation. The variable of access to ARV services is the act of visiting ARV services independently during a pandemic. Data were collected used snowball sampling techniques by online questionnaires and analyzed by chi-square test. Result: The majority of the respondents were 26-35 years old (57.9%), male (56.1%), and heterosexual (74.8%). Variables that had a significant relationship with access to ARV services included relationship status (p less than 0.05), social support (p less than 0.05), and residence status (p less than 0.05). Meanwhile, no significant relationship was found between the peer community participation variable and access to ARV services (p = 0.69). Conclusion: There was a relationship between social factors including relationship status, social support, and residence status of people living with HIV/AIDS with access to ARV services during the pandemic. It is necessary to engage and strengthen the social role of the community, especially families, by providing training and education related to understanding about HIV/AIDS, the needs and motivations of PLWHA

Abstract

Masalah kesehatan gigi dan mulut pada anak usia sekolah masih tinggi di Indonesia. Riskesdas 2018 menunjukkan prevalensi masalah gigi dan mulut pada penduduk Indonesia masih besar, dan Survei Kesehatan Indonesia (SKI) 2023 melaporkan bahwa 56,9% penduduk usia ≥3 tahun mengalami keluhan kesehatan gigi dan mulut. Kondisi tersebut, ditambah keterbatasan akses layanan kesehatan gigi di berbagai wilayah, memperkuat kebutuhan edukasi promotif-preventif di lingkungan sekolah. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan meningkatkan pengetahuan kesehatan gigi dan mulut siswa SD Darul Fallah, Kabupaten Kediri, melalui edukasi berbasis media visual yang sederhana, menarik, dan mudah dipahami. Kegiatan dilaksanakan melalui tahapan observasi kebutuhan bersama pihak sekolah dan guru pendamping, penyusunan materi edukasi berbasis gambar dan ilustrasi (gigi sehat dan karies, anatomi gigi, teknik menyikat gigi, serta peran gigi sulung), penyampaian edukasi interaktif disertai demonstrasi, serta evaluasi pengetahuan menggunakan pre-test dan post-test. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan peningkatan skor pengetahuan pada seluruh kelompok siswa setelah intervensi diberikan, dengan peningkatan yang lebih jelas pada siswa kelas 5 dan 6 dibandingkan siswa kelas 4. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa media visual efektif sebagai strategi edukasi kesehatan gigi dan mulut berbasis sekolah, terutama pada kelompok usia yang lebih matang secara kognitif. Ke depan, penguatan media (misalnya audiovisual atau alat peraga) serta pelibatan guru dan orang tua berpotensi meningkatkan efektivitas pada kelompok usia lebih muda dan mendukung keberlanjutan program

Abstract

Previous research adolescents with high stress levels tend to use online games to reduce stress levels, based on data in the City of Kediri the prevalence of residents who experience mental emotional disorders in 2018 is 2,59%. This study aims to analyze the relationship between stress levels and online game addiction in adolescents in the city of Kediri in 2022. This study was a cross sectional study with a sample of 145 adolescent respondents aged 15-24 years in the city of Kediri. Researchers used a google form containing levels of stress and addiction to online games. The research sampling technique is purposive sampling. Results of the study obtained p value of (p: <0,001), so it can be concluded that the level of stress has a significant relationship with online game addiction with a risk effect of 1,5. Conclusion of this study is that stress levels have a significant relationship with online game addiction in adolescents aged 15-24 years in Kediri City. So, adolescents are to use their free time more to do more physical activities and gather with family or those closest to them.
