Abstract

The purpose of this research is to examine the relationship between culinary aesthetics, destination image, tourist satisfaction, and tourist loyalty in Ternate City. This type of research is an explanatory research with a quantitative approach. There are four variables used, namely culinary aesthetic variables, destination image, tourist satisfaction variable, and tourist loyalty variable. Data collection was obtained through distributing questionnaires to 120 respondents. The sampling technique used purposive sampling with a population of domestic tourists from Ternate City who visited at least two times to culinary tourism in Ternate City. The data analysis of this research used descriptive analysis and path analysis. The results of the study prove that the culinary aesthetic variable has a significant effect on the image of the destination, the image of the destination has a significant effect on the tourist loyalty variable. This study also found an indirect effect of port aesthetics on tourist loyalty through destination image and tourist satisfaction. Based on the results of the study, it is recommended that the Regional Government and tourism business actors maintain the image of local culinary in Ternate City and increase the intensity of tourist visits by promoting all types of tourist attractions including local culinary and optimizing tourist attractions in the diverse Ternate City through the image of the destination.

Abstract

Simplification of the structure and equalization of administrative positions is a bureaucratic streamlining program to realize fast, effective, and efficient public services, As is the priority program of the leadership of the president and vice president. The purpose of this study analysis is to analyze the effectiveness of the policy of equalizing administrative positions to functional positions in the Regional Secretariat of North Maluku Province. This study uses a descriptive analysis approach to explain and analyze the effectiveness of equalization of positions. The study data used is in the form of literature studies. The results of the study analysis show that the policy of equalizing administrative positions to functional positions has not been implemented effectively. The impact on the equalization of administrative positions into functional positions is still in accordance with the indicators of organizational efficiency. Administrative officers who are transferred to majority functional positions do not meet the educational and competency requirements required in the functional positions they will occupy, because the equalization of positions provides a lot of tolerance for the requirements of functional positions.

Abstract

The development of sago as a local food resource in Tuada Village, West Halmahera Regency, aimed at realizing a self-sufficient food village based on local potential. The main activities include strengthening the capacity of the Marimoi MSMEs in managing sago processing businesses, which enables the community to improve their entrepreneurial skills and enhance the economic value of sago. Education on the application of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) was provided to ensure food quality and safety, allowing sago-based products to meet higher market standards. In addition, knowledge transfer on innovative processing techniques has been carried out to expand the variety of sago products, such as instant flour, sago-based macaroni, and sago egg snacks, which significantly increase added value and consumer appeal. The program also emphasizes strengthening community economic institutions through collaborative product marketing strategies and the utilization of digital technology, thereby expanding market reach and reinforcing the position of local products. The technologies applied include hard technologies, such as modern processing equipment, and soft technologies, including business management, packaging, and effective promotion strategies. Furthermore, feasibility studies on household-scale sago flour production and product diversification indicate positive outcomes from technical, financial, and socio-economic perspectives, providing a strong foundation for sustainable business development. Overall, the integration of these initiatives demonstrates that sago development not only contributes to local food security but also plays a significant role in improving community welfare and strengthening the village economy in a sustainable and independent manner.

Abstract

Banyak program pembangunan yang terus dilakukan oleh pemerintah, yang tujuannya agar kehidupan masyarakat berubah menjadi lebih baik. Pembangunan merupakan sebuah upaya atau cara yang dikerjakan yang terencana untuk melaksanakan perubahan demi mencapai tujuan. Pemberdayaan masyarakat merupakan salah satu program yang sedang menjadi mainstream dalam proses pembangunan di Indonesia. Pemberdayaan masyarakat bertujuan agar masyarakat bisa menggali dan mengembangkan potensi dan menjadikan masyarakat mandiri. Salah satu bentuk pemberdayaan adalah melalui UMKM yang dianggap memiliki peran yang sangat penting bagi kesejahteraan masyarakat dengan membuka lapangan kerja dan menambah pendapatan masyarakat sekitar sehingga mencukupi kehidupan sehari-hari seperti pangan, maupun kehidupan lainnya. Dari analisis situasi dan permasalahan yang dihadapi oleh petani salak di Desa Bobo Kota Tidore Kepulauan adalah belum banyak yang memahami potensi usaha yang dikembangkan oleh kelompok tani salak, kurangnya kesadaran masyarakat untuk memanfaatkan hasil olahan salak itu sendiri dan keterbatasan sarana dan prasarana dalam meningkatkan usaha menuju UMKM, sehingga sebagai langkah awal adalah menjelaskan peluang ketika menuju ke UMKM dan mencari solusi untuk permasalahan atas permasalahan yang terjadi di petani salak. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah metode sosialisasi partisipatif. Berdasarkan hasil pengabdian yang telah dibahas maka strategi pengembangan usaha untuk keberlanjutan usaha salak dapat menyesuaikan berdasarkan faktor tantangan dan keberhasilan yang telah dilakukan oleh para petani salak di Kelurahan Bobo Kota Tidore Kepulauan. Selain itu juga sangat dibutuhkan atensi dari Pemerintah Daerah Kota Tidore Kepulauan guna keberlanjutan usaha, baik dari sisi sertifikasi, perluasan lahan, dan komoditi unggulan.

Abstract

Objective: The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of Brand Image and Halal Labels both partially and simultaneously on the decision to purchase Luwak White coffee products. The analytical model used to test the hypothesis is multiple linear regression analysis, and the research method used is explanatory research with a quantitative approach and a sample of 50 respondents. Methodology: The analytical method used and Data processing techniques use SPSS 16 for windows.Finding: All hypothesis accepted at the 5% confidence level.Conclusion: The research proves that: first Brand Image has a positive and significant influence on Purchasing Decisions, which means that the better the perception and consumer confidence in the brand image of a product, will determine the purchasing decision of Luwak White Koffie Products. The second Halal Label has a positive and significant influence on purchasing decisions, which means that with the inclusion of halal labels on product packaging, it will directly affect consumers to make purchasing decisions Luwak White Koffie Products. With the results simultaneously both variables have a positive and significant effect on Purchasing Decisions.

Abstract

Guru adalah orang yang memiliki keahlian khusus dan berprofesi sebagai pendidik profesional yang terlibat dalam dunia pendidikan, di mana tugasnya tidak hanya sekedar mentransfer ilmu ke peserta didiknya, akan tetapi lebih dari itu. Guru mempunyai beban atau tugas untuk menumbuhkan kemampuan peseta didik agar dapat meningkatkan dan mencerdaskan kehidupan bangsa. Hasil verifikasi data guru oleh bidang GKT DIKBUD provinsi Maluku Utara per-tanggal 31 desember 2021, menunjukan bahwa terjadi peningakatan jumlah guru honorer pada jenjang pendidikan SMA, SMK, dan SLB, bila dibandingkan dengan tahun 2020 yang lalu, yaitu dengan rincian jumlah guru PNS dan gur honorer di tahun 2020 sebanyak 2.403 orang guru PNS, dan 2.749 orang guru non PNS, sedangkan di tahun tahun 2021 sebanyak 2.511 guru PNS dan 3.296 guru honorer, yang tersebar di 10 kabupaten dan kota di Provinsi Maluku Utara.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat hubungan antara rekrutmen guru honorer dengan profesionalisme guru dan hubungan antara kesejahteraan guru dengan profasionalisme guru. Penelitian dilakukaan kepada guru honorer dan guru PNS yang berjumlah 86 guru sebagai responden menggunakan Teknik angket dengan analisis regresi ganda menggunakan aplikasi SPSS.25. hasil penelitian yang diperoleh adalah terdapat hubungan yang positif maupun negated dan signifikan antara rekrutmen guru honorer, kesejahteraan guru dengan profesionalisme guru.

Abstract

Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM), khususnya di Kecamatan Ternate Selatan, menunjukkan perkembangan yang cukup signifikan. Pada tahun 2022, jumlah UMKM rumah makan tercatat sebanyak 72 unit dan meningkat menjadi 142 unit pada tahun 2023 (Kota Ternate dalam Angka, 2024). Perkembangan jumlah rumah makan tersebut tentunya diikuti oleh tingkat persaingan yang semakin ketat dalam memperoleh konsumen. Berdasarkan survei awal yang dilakukan oleh tim Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PKM), terungkap bahwa beberapa pengusaha rumah makan, sejak awal pendirian usaha hingga saat ini, belum mengalami peningkatan usaha yang signifikan. Salah satu penyebab kondisi tersebut adalah masih rendahnya pemahaman dan pengetahuan pelaku usaha dalam menghasilkan produk makanan yang berkualitas dan mampu bersaing dengan rumah makan lain di Kelurahan Fitu. Setiap pengusaha rumah makan pada dasarnya mengharapkan usahanya dapat berkembang dari tahun ke tahun. Namun, kenyataan yang dihadapi belum sepenuhnya sesuai dengan harapan. Kondisi ini terjadi karena sebagian pemilik usaha masih menerapkan pola kebiasaan lama dalam memproduksi makanan, tanpa mempertimbangkan kesesuaian produk dengan selera dan kebutuhan konsumen. Oleh karena itu, melalui pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini diharapkan dapat dilakukan penyuluhan mengenai peningkatan kualitas kuliner bagi UMKM rumah makan di Kelurahan Fitu.

Abstract

This study explores the effectiveness of the reward and punishment system at Medika Pratama Perkasa Clinic, a private healthcare facility located in the remote mining area of Lelilef Village, Central Halmahera, North Maluku. Operating with limited human resources and high workloads, the clinic applies a qualitative exploratory case study approach, using interviews, observations, and document analysis, validated through source and method triangulation. The findings show that rewards—such as financial incentives, certificates, additional leave, and training—positively improve staff motivation and loyalty. Meanwhile, punishments including verbal and written warnings and incentive reductions help enforce discipline, although they generate psychological pressure for some employees. The remote context intensifies challenges related to limited facilities, referral constraints, and stressful work conditions. The study concludes that the system works adequately but requires greater consistency, clearer criteria, and stronger non-financial support through mentoring and coaching. These results contribute to understanding human resource management in healthcare organizations operating in remote areas
