Abstract

Pineapple is a fruit that is often used only for its flesh, while the skin remains waste. As a form of dealing with pineapple waste, one way is to use it as an eco-enzyme. Making soap with added eco-enzyme can be used as an alternative for washing dishes. Therefore, this research aims to determine the formulation and test the antibacterial activity of eco-soap based on the surfactant Sodium Lauryl Sulphate. This research is experimental research, which was carried out in July-October 2023. The research results showed that the pH of eco-Soap was 3.46; foam height 1.5 cm; viscosity testing 14.9 mPas; fatty acids 1.44%; and 6 mm antibacterial activity testing. Based on the research results, it was concluded that the surfactant-based eco-soap formulation had good stability in the eco-soap foam height test. The diameter of the zone of inhibition of eco-soap's antibacterial activity showed that bacterial inhibition was moderate.

Abstract

One of the sub-districts in the East Ogan Komering Ulu (OKU) district of South Sumatra, namely Buay Madang Timur, the people are migrants (transmigrants), especially from the Javanese tribe and still preserve the traditional ritual of the Panggih Temanten marriage. The aim of the study was to determine the various kinds of plant families used in the traditional rituals of Panggih Temanten Javanese people in Buay Madang District, East OKU Regency, South Sumatra. This research is a qualitative type with sampling using purposive sampling and snowball sampling. Data collection through structured interviews to selected respondents. The results showed that there were 13 families consist of Arecaceae, Musaceae, Asparagaceae, Euphorbiaceae, Moraceae, Rosaceae, Annonaceae, Nyitaginaceae, Rubiaceae, Asteraceae, Magnoliaceae, Piperaceae, and Oleaceae. Abstract

Blood sugar is important for the body, unstable blood sugar can cause low blood sugar levels (hypoglycemia) or high blood sugar levels (hyperglycemia) which is one sign of diabetes mellitus. The wrong consumption pattern, malnutrition, or obesity (overweight) can cause the risk of diabetes mellitus, poor nutrition can damage the pancreas, while excess obesity can interfere with the work of the insulin hormone. The purpose of this research is to determine the relationship between blood sugar levels and consumption patterns of people in Bandar Lampung City. This research method is quantitative with cross sectional design. The research was conducted in 20 sub-districts in Bandar Lampung City, with a sampling technique that is stratified random sampling. The data collection technique was carried out by taking blood samples for checking blood sugar levels followed by filling out the consumption pattern questionnaire by the respondents.

1, 2, 3Universitas Islam Negeri Raden Intan, Lampung123e-mail:  ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman matematis siswa dengan mengaplikasikan model pembelajaran Team Game Tournament (TGT) berbasis bahan ajar gamifikasi. Peneliti menggunakan metode penelitian eksperimen dengan mengadopsi Quasy Experiment Design. Peneliti juga menggunakan cluster random sampling sehingga didapat kelas VIII A sebagai kelas eksperiment yang menggunakan model pembelajaran Teams Games Tournament (TGT), kelas VIII B kelas eksperiment yang menerapkan bahan ajar gamifikasi menggunakan model Teams Games Tournament (TGT), sedangkan kelas VIII C sebagai kelas kontrol yang pembelajarannya menggunkan metode tradisional. Hasil penelitian meunjukan bahwasanya terdapat pengaruh penerapan model pembelajaran teams games tournament (TGT) menggunakan bahan ajar gamifikasi dalam meningkatkan penalaran matematis siswa. Peningkatan penalaran matematis siswa pada kelas  dengan perlakuan model pembelajaran Teams Games Tournament (TGT) menggunakan bahan ajar gamifikasi lebih baik dibandingkan dengan model pembelajaran konvensional. Kata kunci : Teams Game Tournament; Bahan Ajar Gamifiasi; Pemahaman Matematis  ABSTRACTThis research aims to improve students’mathematical understanding by applying the Team Game Tournament (TGT) learning model based on gamification teaching materials. Researchers used experimental research methods by adopting the Quasy Experiment Design. Researchers also used cluster random sampling so that class VIII A was obtained as an experimental class using the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) learning model, class VIII B was an experimental class that applied gamification teaching materials using the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) model, while class VIII C was a class. control learning using traditional methods. The results show that there is an effect of the application of the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) learning model using gamification teaching materials in improving students' mathematical reasoning. The improvement of students' mathematical reasoning in the class with the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) learning model treatment using gamification teaching materials is better than the conventional learning model. Keywords : Teams Game Tournament; Gamification Teaching Materials; Mathematical Understanding

Abstract

The Hong Kong caterpillar, which comes from the Tenebrio molitor (TM) insect, contains high levels of protein and fat so it can be used as a substitute for fish meal in fish farming feed, including for platy fish. The aim of this research was to evaluate the effect of substituting Tenebrio molitor larva flour on the growth and survival of platy fish fry, as well as on the pH and water temperature over a period of 28 days. The study was conducted using a Completely Randomized Design with five treatments and three replications. The treatments included control, addition of Hong Kong caterpillar flour at 25% (P1), 50% (P2), 75% (P3) and 100% (P4). Parameters measured included weight and length gain of the fish, survival rate, pH, and water temperature. The research data was analyzed using analysis of variance with SPSS software followed by Least Significant Difference test (LSD). The results showed that substituting feed with TM larva flour could increase both weight gain and length in platy fish compared to the control without reducing survival rates. The best substitution for the growth of platy fish fry was found to be at 100% substitution level (P4). Substitution using TM larva flour also did not cause changes in water temperature or pH levels allowing for healthy growth of platy fry.From these findings it can be concluded that TM larva flour can be used as a substitute for commercial feed as a protein source in feeding platy fry.

Abstract

Indonesia adalah negara agraris yang mayoritas masyarakatnya adalah petani. Padi merupakan salah satu komoditas pertanian terbesar di Indonesia. Menurut Badan Pusat Statistika pada tahun 2024, produksi beras mengalami penurunan dari 31,10 juta ton menjadi 30,34 juta ton. Penurunan produktivitas beras dapat disebabkan oleh kualitas benih yang digunakan. Benih yang umur simpannya melebihi 6 bulan akan meningkatkan deteriosasi yang membuat vigor dan viabilitas menurun. Vigor dan viabilitas benih yang menurun dapat diatasi dengan memberikan perlakuan invigorasi seperti paparan medan magnet. Penelitian ini dilakukan ditiga tempat berbeda dari bulan Juli hingga Oktober 2024. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengkaji paparan medan magnet Extremely Low Frequency (ELF) dengan intensitas 0,2 miliTesla (mT) terhadap perkembangan generatif tanaman padi yang berasal dari benih tua. Pada penelitian ini menggunakan metode RAL dengan 4 perlakuan berbeda P0 (Kontrol), P1 (3 menit 54 detik), P2 (7 menit 48 detik), dan P3 (11 menit 42 detik). Tinggi tanaman, jumlah anakan produktif dan tidak produktif, panjang malai, jumlah buku per malai, jumlah cabang primer pada malai dan jumlah cabang sekunder pada malai, dan berat gabah 100 butir merupakan parameter pengamatan pada penelitian ini. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa panjang malai, jumlah buku per malai, dan jumlah cabang sekunder semuanya memiliki pengaruh signifikan. Jumlah buku per malai dapat meningkat pada fase perkembangan generatif jika dipapar medan magnet dengan durasi 3 menit 54 detik.

Abstract

Eco-enzyme is a liquid produced by utilizing leftover fruits or vegetables with the addition of molasses and water, which are then fermented. This study utilized materials such as orange peel, pineapple peel, and watermelon peel. The objective of this research was to determine the content and the effect of applying eco-enzyme on land spinach plants (Ipomoea reptans Poir.) using a wick hydroponic system. This quantitative experimental research was conducted from January to July 2023 at the Analytical Laboratory of Lampung State Polytechnic and the Integrated Laboratory & Technology Innovation Center of the University of Lampung. The observed parameters included plant height, number of leaves, and leaf length. The study employed a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with four treatments, one of which served as the control, and each experimental unit was replicated five times. A total of 160 plant samples were used, and measurements were taken every 7 days for a period of 30 days. The data were analyzed for variance and subjected to Tukey's test at a significance level of a = 5%. The research findings revealed that:1) The utilization of eco-enzymes with different treatments has an impact on all observed parameters in the growth of land spinach (Ipomoea reptans Poir.), 2) The best treatment was found in the P4 treatment with an eco-enzyme dose of 6 ml/L.

Abstract

The cultural, linguistic, and ethnographic diversity of Indonesia is attributable to the country's numerous ethnic communities. One of the tribes in Indonesia, the Lampung Pepadun in Lampung Province, has a unique marriage ritual that is of interest for academic investigation. This study aims to identify the types of plants used in the traditional wedding ceremony of the Lampung Pepadun people in Negara Batin and Pakuan Ratu Districts, Way Kanan Regency, as well as to understand the benefits or symbolic meanings of these plants in the wedding rituals. This research employs a qualitative method with data collection techniques including observation, documentation, and interviews. The sampling techniques used are snowball sampling and purposive sampling. The findings reveal that 17 types of plants are used in the Lampung Pepadun traditional wedding ceremony, namely areca nut, Bryophyllum (cocor bebek), pandan water/rumbai, peanuts, cinnamon, henna leaves, banana, jasmine flowers, corkwood, coconut, betel leaves, rice, mini bamboo grass, sugarcane, gambier, coffee, and tobacco. Thus, it can be concluded that the Lampung Pepadun traditional wedding ceremony in Way Kanan Regency involves the use of 17 types of plants, each of which holds specific symbolic meanings and benefits in the ritual.

Abstract

Abstrak:Salah satu tujuan dari model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning (PBL) adalah untuk meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah peserta didik agar dapat menjadi Sumber Daya Manusia (SDM) yang berkualitas.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh model Problem Based Learning (PBL) terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah peserta didik pada materi pencemaran lingkungan kelas X MIA semester ganjil di SMA Negeri 6 Bandar Lampung.Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah quasi eksperimen. menggunakan Nonequivalent control group designartinya adalah desain yang dimana terdapat 2 kelompok yang dipilih secara random, kemudian diberi pretest untuk mengetahui keadaan awal adakah perbedaan antara kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol. Jumlah populasi peserta didik X MIA adalah 129 peserta didik, yang kemudian 2 kelas merupakan sampel yaitu kelas X MIA 1 berjumlah 32 peserta didik sebagai kelas eksperimen dan X MIA 2 berjumlah 33 peserta didik sebagai kelas kontrol.Berdasarkan hasil analisis data penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai rata-rata pretestpada kelas eksperimen adalah 42,09, sedangkan rata-rata posttestnya adalah 74,68. Pada kelas kontrol nilai rata-rata pretest44,18 dan nilai posttestdengan rata-rata 63,24. Hasil uji t menunjukkan thitung> ttabel (2,42> 1,98) hal tersebut menunjukan bahwa H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima. Jadi, dapat disimpulkan bahwa model Problem Based Learning (PBL) berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah peserta didik pada mata biologi materi pencemaran lingkungan kelas X MIA SMA N 6 Bandar Lampung

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the results of organoleptic tests on getuk lindri treated with natural dyes from telang flower (Clitoria ternatea L.), red dragon fruit skin (Hylocereus polyrhizus.) and black rice (Oryza sativa L.). the method used is by using a completely randomized design (CRD) using 4 treatments and 3 repetitions. Based on the results of organoleptic tests of Getuk Lindri products by utilizing several types of plants containing anthocyanin pigments, the quality standards are classified as good with natural dyes of dragon fruit skin. On the other hand, of the three types of plants that contain anthocyanin pigments, all three can be used as natural dyes that produce different colors. In addition, plants containing anthocyanin pigments used were able to inhibit bacterial growth, this was seen from the total plate number for each treatment which did not exceed the maximum limit of SNI 01-4299-1996 (getuk cassava).Abstrak Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu Untuk mengetahui hasil uji organoleptik pada getuk lindri yang diberi pewarna alami dari bunga telang (Clitoria ternatea L.), kulit buah naga merah ( Hylocereus polyrhizus.) dan beras hitam (Oryza sativa L.). metode yang digunakan yaitu dengan menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan menggunakan 4 perlakuan dan 3 kali pengulangan. Berdasarkan hasil uji organoleptik dari produk getuk lindri dengan memanfaatkan beberapa jenis tanaman yang mengandung pigmen antosianin mempunyai standar kualitas yang digolongkan baik dengan pewarna alami kulit buah naga. Disisilain bahwa dari ketiga jenis tanaman yang mengandung pigmen antosianin ketiganya bisa digunakan sebagai pewarna alami yang menghasilkan warna yang berbeda. Selain itu tanaman yang mengandung pigmen antosianin yang digunakan mampu memperhambat pertumbuhan bakteri, ini dilihat dari angka lempeng total setiap perlakuan yang tidak melebihi batas maksimal SNI 01-4299-1996 (getuk singkong).
