Abstract

Penggunaan insektisida kimia dalam pencegahan DBD dapat mencemari lingkungan, keracunan pada manusia dan resistensi vektor. Untuk itu perlunya solusi menggunaka insektisida nabati. Daun kembang sepatu (Hibiscus rosa-sinensis L.) memiliki kandungan seperti Flavonoid, Terpenoid dan Saponin yang dapat menghambat daya tetas telur nyamuk Aedes aegypti. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh ekstrak daun kembang sepatu (Hibiscus rosa-sinensis L.) sebagai ovisida nyamuk Aedes aegypti. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengap (RAL) dengan lima perlakuan (konsentrasi 0%, 0,125%, 0,25%, 0,5%, dan 1%) dan lima kali pengulangan/. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa ekstrak daun kembang sepatu (Hibiscus rosa-sinensis L) berpengaruh sebagai ovisida terhadap nyamuk Aedes aegypti dengan konsentrasi yang paling berpengaruh yaitu pada konsentrasi 1%.

Abstract

Nata de leri is one of the products produced from fermented organic white, red, black rice washing water with the addition of red dragon fruit skin extract. In javanese the rice washing water is called Leri so that the resulting nata is called “Nata De Leri”. (carbohydrates, proteins, minerals) that are carried away from the rice membrane during the washing process. So that it can be utilized by microorganisms as a medium in making nata. The addition of red dragon fruit skin extract gives color because it contains a lot of anthocyanin and also the fiber and water content is very high. The purpose of this research was to determine the organoleptic and chemical characteristics of nata. This research used a qualitative descriptive method using a 2 factor complete randomized design and the treatment given was 75% of white, red, black rice washing water concentration, The concentration of red dragon fruit skin extract 75%, 50%, and 25%. The results showed that the most preferred texture on the addition of 75% red dragon fruit skin extract was an average of 4,65, the most preferred color in the addition of 75% and 25% red dragon fruit skin extract, the aroma of the average panelist doesn’t like all the aroma of nata de leri, for the taste all the samples were liked by the panelists because of their sweet taste. While the water content and crude fiber content produced are quite high on average but do not exceed SNI.

Abstract

The area of rubber land in Indonesia currently reaches 3,672,213 ha which can produce 3,229,861 tons/year. The price of rubber in Indonesia is currently cheap because of low-quality latex. The low quality of latex is caused by the large production costs, one of which is the price of latex clotting material which is relatively expensive. Therefore, this studied aims to find a good alternative to latex coagulant but at low cost. Latex clumping material used in this research were noni juice and star fruit. The treatment in this study used noni juice and star fruit juice concentration of 5 ml, 10 ml, 15 ml, and 20 ml, respectively. The results showed the weight of latex with noni emulsifying agents increased by 45.58% while the administration of star fruit juice was not much different, amounting to 45.70%. However, the final weight of latex given by the emulsifying agent in the form of star fruit was higher than Noni with the difference at the highest weight reached 4.23 grams. The fastest latex clumping time at 20 ml star fruit concentration is 1.18 minutes. Based on research results noni juice and star fruit potential as a latex clot.

Abstract

Pangasius djambal is one of the popular fish. The obstacle in this fish culture is the presence of bacterial attack, which is thought to originate from the waters where the fish live. This study aims to determine the differences in the number of bacteria found in the body of P djambal that are cultivated in ponds and those that live in rivers. Based on research, it is known that the number of bacteria found in the body of fish originating from rivers is more than the number of bacteria originating from ponds. The results showed the number of bacteria in the gills of fish from river reached 250 x 107 Cfu/g and in mucus 199 x 107 Cfu/g. While the number of fish bacteria originating from ponds in the gills section is 204 x 107 Cfu/g and in the mucus section is 131x107 Cfu/g.

Abstract

An environmentally friendly agricultural system with organic fertilizer is used to reduce the use of chemical fertilizers, thus producing healthy agricultural products for consumption. Liquid organic fertilizer from bamboo shoots is an alternative substitute for chemical fertilizers in the planting of cayenne pepper (Capsicum frustescens L.) hydroponically. This study aims to determine the effect of bamboo shoot liquid organic fertilizer on hydroponic cayenne pepper pre-antithesis growth. The study was conducted at the Biology Laboratory of UIN Raden Intan Lampung, using a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with 6 treatments with 3 replications. The treatments included negative control (water), positive control (AB mix), P1 = 10%, P2 = 15%, P3 = 20%, P4 = 25% ml. The parameters include plant height, number of leaves, stem diameter, plant fresh weight. Data were analyzed using One Way Anova (SPSS 17.0), followed by LSD at the 5% level. The results show the effect of treatment on all parameters. Control positive (AB mix) gave the best results on all parameters, then successively treated P4, P3, P2, P1, K0 (negative control). Although not as good as using an AB mix solution, the administration of bamboo shoots POC with a concentration of 25% can support the growth of hydroponic cayenne pre-synthesis.

Abstract

Komunitas penyandang cacat, khususnya komunitas tunarungu di Bandar Lampung jumlahnya cukup banyak, yaitu 114 orang. Komunitas ini masih membutuhkan perhatian dari berbagai lapisan masyarakat agar mereka memiliki keterampilan untuk hidup mandiri. Telur adalah salah satu makanan yang dikonsumsi oleh banyak orang Indonesia. Sekitar 10% bagian dari teluradalah cangkang. Provinsi Lampung, khususnya Kota Bandar Lampung berpotensi untuk menghasilkan limbah kulit telur. Setiap hari, sekitar 24.700 kg telur digunakan di Bandar Lampung dengan potensi kulit telur mencapai 2.470 kg. Oleh karena itu, limbah cangkang telur bisa dimanfaatkan oleh komunitas tunarungu untuk fortifikasi berbagai penganan sehingga memiliki nilai tawar yang berbeda dengan produk sejenis. Strategi penerapan kegiatan pengabdian ini menggunakan empat tahapan, yaitu persiapan, implementasi, pelatihan, danpemantauan. Kegiatan pemberdayaan yang dilaksanakan oleh tim pengabdi dari Universitas Islam Negeri Raden Intan Lampung dalam mengolah limbah cangkang telur sebagai bahan yang difortifikasi ke berbagai penganan dirasakan memberikan manfaat bagi komunitas tunarungu di Kota Bandar Lampung karena mereka dapat berwirausaha.

Abstract

Masyarakat Indonesia masih banyak yang memiliki pola hidup tidak sehat.  Pola hidup tidak sehat yang kerap dilakukan salah satunya adalah kebiasaan merokok.  Rokok memiliki kandungan gas dan partikel yang berbahaya bagi kesehatan apabila dikonsumsi secara terus menerus serta dalam jumlah banyak.  Hal ini karena zat yang terkandung dalam rokok tersebut bersifat genotoksik sehingga bisa memicu penyakit degeneratif. Setidaknya ada dua jenis rokok yaitu filter dan kretek.  Jenis rokok ini memiliki perbedaan pada kandungan nikotinnya serta kemampuannya menyaring zat-zat berbahaya.  Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui korelasi perilaku merokok dengan kesehatan masyarakat.  Metode penelitian ini adalah observasional analitik dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Responden yang terlibat berjumlah 68 dengan mempertimbangkan kriteria inklusi. Parameter yang diukur meliputi usia, tekanan darah, frekuensi denyut nadi, frekuensi pernafasan, dan saturasi oksigen.  Hasil penelitian menunjukkan jenis rokok berkorelasi nyata terhadap karakteristik responden berupa usia, tekanan darah, frekuensi pernapasan, serta saturasi oksigen namun tidak berpengaruh nyata pada frekuensi denyut nadi. Derajat merokok berkorelasi terhadap karakteristik responden pada tekanan darah, frekuensi denyut nadi, frekuensi pernapasan, dan saturasi oksigen namun tidak dengan usia. Berdasarkan data menunjukkan derajat merokok yang semakin tinggi berpotensi menurunkan kualitas kesehatan perokok tersebut.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the learning media carried out in schools that look less effective and less attractive.Because learning in the classroom does not use alternative media other than thematic books. From the existing problems, environmental-based picture story books were developed with the aim of (1) being able to produce picture story books with the help of correl draw applications and Photoshop soft ware. (2) knowing how appropriate the picture book media is. (3) to determine the feasibility of validation response to the developed media. This type of research is Research and Development (R&D) by using the steps of the research and development method according to Borg and Gall, modified by Sugiyono. The stages in research and development are potential and problems, collecting data, product design, product validation, product revision, product testing, and product revision. The results of the validation on picture story books by linguists obtained an average percentage of 90% with very feasible criteria, material experts obtained an average percentage of 97% with very feasible criteria, media experts obtained an average percentage of 92% with very feasible criteria. The assessment on the response of educators obtained an average percentage of 99% with very feasible criteria, and students' responses to small-scale trials at Wates State Elementary School in Central Lampung obtained an average percentage of 90% with very feasible criteria, as well as large-scale trials at schools in MI Al-Hikmah Bandar Lampung get an average percentage of 89% with very decent criteria. It was concluded that the environmental-based storybook with the help of correl draw applications and Photoshop soft ware for thematic learning subjects of class II SD / MI on the theme of caring for animals and plants developed were suitable for use as learning media. Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh media pembelajaran yang dilaksanakan di sekolah terlihat kurang efektif dan kurang menarik. Dari pemasalahan yang ada buku cerita bergambar dibuat kemudian dikembangkan menjadi buku cerita berbasis lingkungan hidup dengan tujuan untuk (1) dapat menghasilkan produk buku cerita bergambar dengan bantuan aplikasi correl draw dan soft ware potoshop. (2) mengetahui bagaimana kelayakan media buku cerita bergambar. (3) untuk mengetahui respon kelayakan validasi terhadap media yang dikembangkan. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Reseach and Development (R&D) dengan menggunakan langkah-langkah metode penelitian dan pengembangan menurut Borg and Gall yang dimodifikasi oleh Sugiyono. Adapun tahapan dalam penelitian dan pengembangan yaitu potensi dan masalah, mengumpulkan data, desain produk, validasi produk, revisi produk, uji coba produk, dan revisi produk. Hasil validasi pada buku cerita bergambar oleh ahli bahasa memperoleh rata-rata persentase 90% dengan kriteria sangat layak, ahli materi memperoleh rata-rata persentase 97% dengan kriteria sangat layak, ahli media memperoleh rata-rata persentase 92% dengan kriteria sangat layak. Penilaian pada respon pendidik memperoleh rata-rata persentase 99% dengan kriteria sangat layak, dan respon peserta didik pada uji coba skala kecil di Sekolah Dasar Negeri Wates Lampung Tengah memperoleh rata-rata persentase 90% dengan kriteria sangat layak, serta uji coba skala besar pada sekolah di MI Al- Hikmah Bandar Lampung memperoleh rata-rata persentase 89% dengan kriteria sangat layak. Disimpulkan bahwa buku cerita begambar berbasis lingkungan hidup dengan bantuan aplikasi correl draw dan soft ware potoshop mata pembelajaran tematik kelas II SD/MI pada tema merawat hewan dan tumbuhan yang dikembangkan layak digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran.
