Abstract

Masih belum tuntasnya hasil belajar siswa pada materi siklus air, menjadi alasan penelitian yang bertujuan untuk mengkaji peran media gambar terhadap hasil belajar materi siklus air dilakukan. Jenis penelitian yang dialkukan adalah penelitian tindakan kelas yang terdiri atas tiga tahapan yaitu, perncanaan, pelaksanaan dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian ini siswa kelas V yang berjumlah 24 siswa. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunkan adalah tes dan lembar observasi. analisis data dilakukan dengan membandingkan nilai siswa dari hasil tes dengan KKM yang telah ditetapkan oleh sekolah, yaitu KKM 70. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dengan adanya media gambar dapat meningktkan hasil belajar pada materi siklus air. Hal ini ditunjukan dari peningkatkan jumlah siswa yang tuntas dari prasiklus sampai siklus II. Dimana dalam siklus 1 masih ditemukan bebera kendala dalam proses pembelajaran sehingga menyebakan masih ada 5 orang siswa yang belum tuntas, disebabkan karena pada penelitian ini, terlihat bahwa guru masih kurang memperhatikan siswa pada saat pembelajaran dan beberapa siswa terlambat mengikuti pembelajaran, mengakibatkan mereka tidak mendengarkan penjelasan guru dengan baik. Jadi bisa di rekomadasikan bahwa media gambar bisa digunkan sebagai salah satu alternatif medai pembelajaran untuk siklus air.

Abstract

Dalam mencapai hasil belajar siswa yang efektif, salah satunya harus didukung dengan kompetensi seorang guru karena guru sebagai penunjang dalam pencapaian prestasi belajar siswa. Satu dari keempat kompetensi seorang guru yaitu kompetensi pedagogik. Kompetensi pedagogik harus bisa dijalankan dengan baik supaya proses pembelajaran dapat berjalan dengan efektif. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kompetensi pedagogik guru dalam membangun hasil belajar yang efektif. Adapun metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif. Dimana pembahasan dan teori yang diperoleh berdasarkan hasil studi kepustakaan yang didapat dari buku teks, e-book, jurnal ilmiah, artikel, dan sumber lain yang sesuai dengan penelitian ini. Berbeda dengan penelitian terdahulu, penelitian ini berfokus pada kompetensi pedagogik guru dalam membangun hasil belajar yang efektif. Dampak dari penelitian ini adalah supaya guru bisa mengembangkan kompetensi pedagogiknya untuk menciptakan hasil belajar yang efektif. Adapun, salah satu kompetensi tersebut adalah bisa memahami karaktersitik setia peserta didiknya.

Abstract

The development of information technology has a major influence almost on all aspects of life, including education. However, if used unwisely, the information technology can be very detrimental to its users. One of the main reasons is due to the large amount of unfiltered technological media negative contents which are easily accessed. Therefore, it is very important to introduce appropriate information technology for young children. It is also important to teach parent how to guide and supervise their young children in utilizing the information technology. Hence, this community service activity of Introduction and Socialization of Information Technology for Early Childhood Education is conducted. The targeting audiences of this service are students and teachers at Kota Baru Kindergarten, Banda Aceh. This community service activity is funded by Abulyatama University. This activity was attended by 17 participants of teachers and pre-school students. The obtained result evaluation show that the community service activity increases the knowledge of the pre-school student and teachers regarding how to use the information technology safely. This service activity was successfully conducted due to tremendous support from many groups especially the participants, whom were enthusiastic and actively participated in this socialization activity. Keywords: socialization, information technology, learning media, young children,PAUD

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the relationship between the use of film subtitles and students’ translation ability. A quantitative approach with a correlational design was employed, involving 31 students from the English Language Education program who had been exposed to translation theory and regularly watched foreign-language films with subtitles. The data were collected using a closed-ended questionnaire in the form of a Likert scale, consisting of 20 items that measured both the frequency of subtitle use and translation ability. After testing for normality, the data were analyzed using Spearman’s rank correlation due to its ordinal nature. The results revealed a moderate positive correlation (r = 0.449) between the use of subtitles and translation ability, with a significance value of 0.013 (p < 0.05), indicating a statistically significant relationship. These findings suggest that subtitles can serve as an effective medium to support language learning, especially in enhancing students’ understanding of vocabulary, sentence structure, and context in translation. This study highlights the potential of integrating multimedia tools like film subtitles into language education to improve students' translation competence.

Abstract

The rise of flexible work systems such as work from home (WFH) offers opportunities for women to remain productive without leaving their households. However, WFH also presents unique challenges, particularly concerning the dual roles women often assume in balancing professional responsibilities and domestic duties. This study aims to examine the effect of flexible working arrangements on the performance of female employees, and to evaluate the moderating role of perceived organizational support (POS) in this relationship. Using a quantitative approach, data were collected through questionnaires distributed to 74 female workers in East Java who engage in WFH schemes. The data were analyzed using Partial Least Squares (PLS). The findings reveal that flexible working arrangements have a positive and significant effect on performance, and this relationship is further strengthened when employees perceive a high level of organizational support. These results underscore the importance of cultivating a supportive organizational climate, particularly for women navigating the challenges of dual roles while working remotely. Abstract

This study aims to examine the phenomenon of code-switching and code-mixing in digital interactions through the analysis of Deddy Corbuzier's podcast episode with Agnez Monica entitled “VIDI: OM balding, AGNEZ MO LOE CELINGKUH1N⁉️DAH G11L444 YA LOE OM " which was uploaded on March 1, 2025 with a duration of 1 hour 35 minutes 41 seconds. The method used is descriptive qualitative with micro sociolinguistic approach through transcription and thematic analysis based on typology Chaer (situational, metaphorical, and identity tagging). The results found 16 code switching and 21 code mixing, with a predominance of external code switching (Indonesian–English) of 68%. Three main communication strategies were identified, namely: (1) situational switching to adjust the topic of conversation, (2) metaphorical switching as a means of humor and emotional suppression, and (3) identity marking through English vocabulary to strengthen the image of Agnez Monica as a global artist. Further analysis showed that 74% of code switching was done by Agnez Monica to affirm professional identity while bridging audiences across generations. These findings confirm that multilingual practice in podcasts serves not only   as a communication strategy, but also as a means of forming cultural identity in the digital space. This study contributes to the development of media sociolinguistic studies by adapting the Chaer model in the context of new media and offering recommendations on communication strategies for content creators in Indonesia.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan kompetensi profesional guru Bahasa Indonesia. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah studi literatur. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan data sekunder yang berupa hasil-hasil penelitian seperti buku, jurnal, artikel dan sumber lain yang relevan. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik analisis data analisis isi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwasannya kompetensi profesional guru Bahasa Indonesia memiliki peran penting pada pencapaian pengetahuan siswa pada pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia melalui teknologi informasi dan komunikasi. Peningkatan kompetensi penting menjadi perhatian serius karena dapat memberi sumbangan yang besar terhadap perkembangan siswa baik itu dari penguasaan guru terhadap materi, teknik komunikasi, teknik pembelajaran, serta kepribadiannya. Kompetensi guru perlu dikembangkan dan diperhatikan khususnya dalam bidang sastra Indonesia dengan menanamkan minat baca atau literasi sehingga akan mudah untuk mewujudkan keinginan dalam mencapai kualitas pendidikan yang baik.

Abstract

Pollution of the environment is a sign that people still care little about the environment. Schools and other educational institutions play a critical role in raising environmental consciousness among all age groups. The aim of this research is to ascertain the degree to which environmental awareness character education is being implemented at SD Negeri 1 Suranenggala, as well as the factors that facilitate and hinder this implementation. This study combines descriptive qualitative research with a qualitative methodology. Teachers, students, and principals were the subjects of the study. methods for gathering data include documentation, interviews, and observation. gathering, condensing, presenting, and making conclusions from data is data analysis. The implementation of environmental care character education at SDN 1 Suranenggala was demonstrated by the results. These included class pickets, clean Saturday events, classroom learning, the use of plastic bottle processing programs as planting media, the creation of ecobricks from plastic waste, and the development of the habit of disposing of trash in its proper place. Clear regulations, sufficient infrastructure, and helpful human resources (HR) are the supporting aspects. On the other hand, the things that are impeding are individual variances in character and the ignorance of teachers, parents, and students

Abstract

Abstrak Kelompok kerja guru merupakan wadah kegiatan professional guru yang beranggotakan guru-guru dari sekolah di dalam gugus terkait. SD di Kecamatan Baitussalam Kab. Aceh Besar memiliki KKG Guru Kelas, yaitu KKG Gugus SD Negeri Lambada Klieng. Gugus ini terdiri dari delapan(8) sekolah imbas yaitu: (a) SD Negeri Lambada Klieng; (b) SD Negeri Kuta Pasie; (c) SD Negeri 1 Klieng; (d) SD negeri 2 Klieng; (e) SD Negeri Deah Rungkom; (f) SD Negeri Kajhu; (g) SD Negeri Labuy; (h) SD Negeri Monsinget. Salah satu masalah utama guru dalam proses pembelajaran yaitu kurangnya kompetensi pedagogical content knowledge (PCK) guru dalam pengintegrasian kearifan lokal ke pada pembelajaran, guru masih banyak yang belum paham tentang kearifan lokal khususnya huköm adat laôt. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi pedagodical content knowledge (PCK) guru khususnya pada Gugus SD Negeri Lambada Klieng melalui pelatihan dan pendampingan lapangan. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan di SD Negeri Lambada Klieng dengan jumlah peserta sebanyak 25 orang.  Kegiatan pengabdian ini dilaksanakan melalui pendampingan dengan metode berikut: penyuluhan, pelatihan, penerapan teknologi, pendampingan dan evaluasi, serta keberlanjutan program. Hasil dari kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah guru mampu menerapkan dan membuat kegiatan pembelajaran dengan model PBL-HL berorientasi SSI; dan Meningkatnya kompetensi pedagogical content knowledge (PCK) guru di KKG SD Negeri Lambada Klieng. Kata kunci: PBL; kearifan lokal; SSI; PCK. Abstract A teacher work group (KKG) is a group for professional teachers’ activities. The members of the group are the teachers from related clusters. Elementary Schools in Baitussalam Subdistrict, Aceh Besar District has a KKG for Classroom Teachers, that is KKG Cluster SD Negeri Lambada Klieng. This Cluster has eight school, they are: (a) SD Negeri Lambada Klieng; (b) SD Negeri Kuta Pasie; (c) SD Negeri 1 Klieng; (d) SD Negeri 2 Klieng; (e) SD Negeri Deah Rungkom; (f) SD Negeri Kajhu; (g) SD Negeri Labuy; (h) SD Negeri Monsinget. One of the problems teachers face in teaching learning is the lack of teachers’ pedagogical content knowledge (PCK) in integration of local wisdom in learning. Many teachers still do not understand the local wisdom, especially huköm adat laôt. This activity aims to improve the teachers’ pedagogical content knowledge (PCK) especially Cluster SD Negeri Lambada Klieng, through workshop and assistance. This activity was carried out at SD Negeri Lambada Klieng with 25 participants. The community service is conducted through mentoring with the following methods: counseling, workshops, application of technology, assistance, evaluation, and program sustainability. The results of this community service are:  the teachers can  implement and create the teaching learning process by using SSI-Oriented PBL-HL model; and the teachers’ pedagogical content knowledge (PCK) Cluster SD Negeri Lambada Klieng improves. Keywords: PBL; local wisdom; SSI; PCK
