Abstract

This paper examines the methods that will be used in delivering material so that the delivery of a material runs smoothly, thus learning Arabic will avoid the linguistic and non-linguistic problems. In order for learning to be independent of existing problems, educators / lecturers should use a learning method that can increase the learning interest of students in Arabic, especially in their writing skills (Maharah Kitabah). One method that can be used to increase interest in learning in the maharah of the qowaidul imla course is the make a match method. This paper contains several focus issues, namely how to apply the make a match method, can the make a match method increase interest in learning in writing skills (Maharah Kitabah) in the qowaidul imla course PBA Unhasy Jombang. Through descriptive qualitative research methods, and based on the focus of the problem above, in accordance with the objectives of this research, we want to see the application of suitable methods used with obstacles found in the field. So, the make a match method is one method that can be used in all subjects and can answer existing problems.

Abstract

Qawaid is an element of Arabic that must be mastered by Arabic language learners, including students of the Department of Arabic Language and Literature of UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang, though it is still seen difficult until today. The learning of qawaid that has been running so far relies on traditional methods and strategies, i.e. the deductive method (tariqah qiyasiyah) and inductive (tariqah istiqra'iyyah). It is done by asking the students to write sentences (jumlah mufidah) on a sheet or assignment book. This study aims to explore a strategy of language game named adlif kalimatan (add one word) in learning qawaid in the said department. It is a case study and uses a qualitative approach. Data collection is carried out from observation, interviews and documentation. The results of this study indicate that the language game of adlif kalimatan is able to make instructional activity more interesting and is able to motivate students to apply qawaid in speaking and writing skills.

Abstract

This study aims to reveal the optimization of students' Arabic writing skills through the collaboration of Herbart method with cooperative learning. Using a qualitative method, the study informs that the implementation of Herbart method in the basic concepts of writing and the writing of hamzah is carried out in five stages, i.e. planning, material presentation, material association, conclusion, and application. In this case, the cooperative learning is placed in the fifth stage, i.e. application, by providing in-group exercises to students. With this collaboration, the students are able to make Arabic sentences based on the elements of writing that have been studied, such as making sentences from words starting with hamzah, analyzing a word form and converting it into another form, and being able to write words and their harakat correctly. Thus, this study concluded that the collaboration of Herbart method with cooperative learning was able to improve students' Arabic writing skills by applying several exercises in groups; it makes students accustomed to writing in Arabic.

Abstract

Nahwu learning is part of learning Arabic. It is often found that students feel sleepy or bored while learning nahwu is carried out compared to other learning such as istima' or kalam, but learning nahwu will be more fun if learning is applied with games. So this research discusses the chain message game in nahwu learning, and this chain message game hones students' ability to remember learning material and makes students feel fun in the learning process. The purpose of this study is to find out the implementation of the chain message game in nahwu learning, which is applied at the Darul Huda Islamic Boarding School, and to know the advantages and disadvantages of this game. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative method. Data collection was carried out, namely interviews and observations, then data analysis techniques were carried out using the Miles & Huberman interactive analysis model. Data collection from this study was carried out from the learning process at the Darul Huda Islamic Boarding School. The results of this study are (1) the implementation of a chain message game in nahwu learning at the Darul Huda Litahfidzil Qur'an Gondanglegi Islamic Boarding School, namely there are six stages. In the first stage, the teacher prepares learning materials. Second, the teacher prepares paper media. Third, the division of groups. Fourth, groups consist of 3 or 4 people and line up. Fifth, each group gets 1 paper containing instructions. Sixth, students run the game. (2) the advantages and disadvantages of this game are that the advantages are easy to understand, students are more confident, remember the material, and are efficient. While the drawback is that you have to have enough time so that the implementation does not tend to be rushed.

Abstract

البحث عن الكنوز هو أحد الوسائط المرئية لتعلم اللغة العربية ويتم تقديمه على شكل لعبة. تهدف هذه الدراسة إلى تحليل تنفيذ ألعاب البحث عن الكنوز في تعلم ناهو في مدرسة دار الهدى الإسلامية الداخلية ، وكذلك تحليل مزايا وعيوب ألعاب البحث عن الكنوز في تعلم النهو في مدرسة دار الهدى الإسلامية الداخلية. يستخدم هذا البحث المنهج الوصفي النوعي مع نوع البحث الميداني (بحث ميداني). تقنيات جمع البيانات مع الملاحظة والمقابلات والتوثيق. يستخدم تحليل البيانات جمع البيانات وتكثيف البيانات وعرض البيانات واستخلاص النتائج / التحقق. تشير نتائج هذه الدراسة إلى أن ألعاب البحث عن الكنوز يمكن أن تعمل بشكل فعال ويمكن أن تحسن نتائج تعلم. يمكن لمزايا هذه اللعبة دعوة الطلاب للتفاعل والعمل مع الأصدقاء ، وتوفير الحماس لحل كل مشكلة ، وتعزيز الحماس للطلاب. في حين أن العيوب: يتطلب تطبيق لعبة طريقة البحث عن الكنوز هذه الكثير من الوقت ، ومجموعة واسعة من الأماكن.

Abstract

Uslūb wa i'jāz al-Qur'ān, in general, is a style of language used in the Qur'ān by classifying and analyzing in detail through the i'jāz factors or miracles contained in the Qur'ān so that the formulation of the problem in this study is 1) what are the forms of i'jāz balāgȳ what happened in the surat an-Nāzi'āt, and 2) what are the forms of i'jāz 'ilmi in the sūrah an-Nāzi'āt. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach based on the text of the Qur'ān based on the object's selection. This study intends to analyze the style of language and its form using the uslūb wa i'jāz al-Qur'ān analysis approach. Problem-solving is done by presenting the results based on the facts that match what is from the sūrah an-Nāzi'āt. Data was collected using reading and note-taking techniques. Furthermore, the results found were that there were two forms of i'jāz balāgȳ, namely uslūb badī' saja', uslūb badi' muṭābaqah and badī' jinās isytiqāq. There were three aspects of i'jāz 'ilmi in the form supernatural, scientific, and historical matters.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk 1). menganalisis tingkat kemahiran berbahasa Arab yang ada dalam buku teks bahasa Arab KMA 183 perspektif ACTFL, 2). Mengetahui urgensi susunan materi dalam buku teks Bahasa Arab KMA 183 terhadap kemahiran berbahasa Arab. 3) mendeskripsikan implikasi analisis buku teks ajar Bahasa Arab KMA 183 berdasarkan pedoman kemahiran berbahasa ACTFL. Penelitian merupakan penelitian kepustakaan (Library Research) dengan memaparkan data, dokumen dan berkas-berkas penunjang lainnya dengan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif, dengan menggunakan teknis analisis isi (Content Analysis) yaitu melakukan Analisa data menurut isinya sehingga memberikan gambaran tentang kesesuaian materi yang terdapat dalam buku teks Bahasa arab pada jenjang Mts kelas IX dengan menganalisis melalui perspektif pedoman kemahiran berbahasa. Hasil penelitian yang dilakukan dengan menganalisa buku teks Bahasa Arab KMA 183 dapat dipaparkan bahwa pada materi kemahiran membaca berada pada tingkatan pemula rendah dan terus meningkat hingga pada tingkatan pemula tinggi, sedangkan untuk materi kemahiran menulis konsisten berada pada tingkatan pemula tinggi. sedangkan untuk kemahiran Reseptif mencakup kemahiran membaca dan menyimak. Pada materi membaca yang secara keseluruhan mengalami peningkatan. Pada dua bab pertama diawali dengan tingkat materi kemahiran di level pemula tinggi (Novice High), lalu meningkat di Madya rendah (Intermediate Low). Hal ini berbeda dengan,materi kemahiran menyimak yang konsisten berada di tingkatan Pemula Tinggi (Novice High), dengan demikian menunjukan bahwa proses transformasi perubahan materi bisa dinikmati pembelajar di tiap babnya. Adapun pada materi membaca yang disajikan dalam buku teks tersebut berada pada level yang tidak berurutan, sehingga arah tujuan yang ingin dicapai dalam kompetensi menulis ini kurang terarah dan terstruktur.

Abstract

In learning reading skills (mahārat al-qirā’ah), especially Arabic texts, students are required to be able to reach existing indicators, which are at the level of critical reading. One effort to foster a critical attitude is to implement a group investigation strategy in the learning process. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to see how far the effectiveness of applying the group investigation strategy in learning mahārat al-qirā’ah 2 to the students of Arabic Language and Literature Department, UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim. The results of this study prove that the application of the group investigation strategy applied in learning mahārat al-qirā’ah 2 can make students active and critical in analyzing discourse. The obstacle is the lack of student commitment to time so that the learning seems rushed. The solution, students are accustomed to reading Arabic texts so that they are familiar with new mufradāt (vocabulary), and commitment to the time given by lecturers so that learning is more effective and efficient.

Abstract

Many studies that discuss learning methods naḥwu, there is no method that can be accurate to be applied to all Madrasahs. Madrasah Diniyah Kyai Mojo, Tembelang, Jombang, is one of the Madrasahs that applies the rote method to improve the quality of understanding naḥwu. The purpose of this study is to find out how the application of memorization methods in Madrasah Diniyah Kyai Mojo, Tembelang, Jombang, in improving the quality of students’ understanding of naḥwu. This study uses descriptive qualitative, and the instrument for collecting data using direct observation, and unstructured interviews. The results of this study indicate that the application of the memorization method in improving naḥwu in the Madrasah Kyai Mojo, Tembelang, Jombang consists of two stages, namely the preparation stage and the implementation and evaluation stages. The study concludes that the memorization method is very helpful in improving the quality of students’ understanding of naḥwu, even though the level of understanding is still at the level of translating and interpreting and has not yet reached the stage of extrapolating (estimating). his study suggests teachers be creative in using learning methods by paying attention to situations and conditions so that learning is not monotonous by using one method.

Abstract

Spirituality poetry generally contains elements of beauty and aesthetics, so it tends to display linguistics and literature. Sa‘dūn’s poetry has its uniqueness with spiritual content in it. Spirituality in Sa‘dūn’s poetry describes the close relationship between man and God, which is reflected in the form of criticism of society. Therefore, this study aims to determine the form of spirituality in Sa‘dūn’s poetry. This research method uses content analysis by using Ibn ‘Arabī’s hermeneutics approach in its interpretation. The results of this study indicate two things, namely: (1) essence of death in the first poem contains three important pieces of advice, namely life in this world, life in the afterlife, and prepare for death; and (2) essence of ma‘rifah contained in the second Sa‘dūn’s poetry shows Sa‘dūn’s closeness to God as evidenced by two things, namely zuhud and world prevents towards Allah. This study is important in expanding the study of Ibn ‘Arabi’s hermeneutics which is usually only used to interpret the inner meaning in the Qur’ān and ḥadīth. Hermeneutics can also be used in other literary works such as poetry, novels, short stories, etc.
