Abstract

The low quality of literacy levels at SMPN 2 Pangarengan is inseparable from the limited teaching staff and ineffective learning for students. Complete literacy education facilities and infrastructure cannot be used optimally, this is influenced by environmental factors which cause the representation of work in literacy activities to be less visible, Therefore, it is necessary to introduce new learning in the education system in this activity, the target is SMPN 2 Pangarengan, the activities carried out are by optimizing literacy activities by holding regular activities such as book discussion groups, literacy workshops, and monthly meetings to discuss selected books, methods carried out, There are three stages of implementation in the context of introducing literacy to improve giyat in producing a work at SMPN 2 Pangarenga, namely 1). habituation, 2). Development, 3). Learning. This activity reflects on the planning activities that have been matched by the STKIP PGRI Sampang KKN team. The result achieved is that this community service produces a written work in the form of an anthology of poetry which is packaged into a book about "word scratches" where all students' work can be included in it which is neatly arranged, with the presence of the STKIP PGRI DOUBLE RC KKN Team in school institutions we hope to provide an adequate service for students who follow the program.

Abstract

This study addresses the significance of reading in human life, emphasizing its role in acquiring knowledge, information, and entertainment. Reading is a communicative process used by individuals to convey messages and communicate meanings. The benefits of reading include enhancing knowledge, developing critical thinking, improving brain memory, and fostering understanding. The school library is crucial in supporting the learning process by providing diverse information sources and promoting collaboration among students. Establishing reading corners or libraries within schools is an initiative to support the government's mandatory reading movement. The proposed solution, WACANA program, focuses on creating comfortable and attractive reading spaces to enhance students' reading interest. The program not only aims to establish reading corners but also provides sustainable reading facilities. This initiative targets schools lacking reading corners or libraries, with the primary goal of improving reading quality and knowledge acquisition among students. The program is set to be implemented over one month in MTs Darut Tauhid, Torjun District, Sampang Regency. The method involves several stages: preparation, implementation, mentoring, and evaluation. Activities include identifying and selecting the educational institution, program socialization, decoration planning, reading corner renovation, and the official launching of the reading corner. The main targets are increased reading interest, enhanced literacy skills, and improved education quality.

Abstract

ABSTRACTBackground: Dental and oral health problems of most people, including mental retardation children. Child health policy mental retardation with all its limitations requires the participation of parents/ guardians. Brushing teeth behavior of parents in increasing motivation to brush children's teeth mentally retarded. Strategies for providing dental health education in accordance with the needs and abilities of children are needed. Behavior change therapy model in parents/ guardians is a learning model as a skill in brushing children's teeth mentally retarded. Puspose: The purpose of this study is to produce a behavior change therapy model that is able to improve the brushing behavior of parents/ guardians of children with mental retardation. Methods: Research and Development (R & D) procedures there are 5 stages of gathering information, design models, expert validation and revision, test models, the final results of the model. The sample collected 32 parents / guardians. Sampling using a purposive sampling technique. Data on the model results were tested by paired different tests, intergroup difference tests, and proportion. Results: The results of this study, obtained about changes in significant in increasing knowledge knowledge (0.000), attitudes (0.000), skills (0.000) parents/ guardians. Conclusion The model of appropriate and effective behavior change therapy is effective in increasing the brushing of teeth of parents / guardians of children with mental retardation. Keywords: Behaviour change therapy models, tooth brushing behavior, parents/ guardians of children with mental retardation.

Abstract

The prevalence of dental caries in Indonesia, especially among 10-14 year olds, is 37.2%. Health promotion is an effort to ensure that the community has the willingness and ability to maintain and improve their own health. One of the health promotion strategies is health education. The purpose of this study was to examine the effectiveness of the Whosit Game educational media in improving students' attitudes towards dental and oral health. This study was an analytical study with a pre-experimental design. The research subjects involved 45 fourth-grade students at SDN Kertajaya IV Surabaya with a paired T-test. The results showed a significant increase in students' attitudes before and after being given whosit game education with a p-value of 0.000. It can be concluded that providing education using whosit game media is effective in improving students' attitudes towards dental and oral hygiene. Abstract

Kedisiplinan tidak terlepas dari perkembangan moral siswa, kemorosotan nilai moral pada anak ditingkat pendidikan menengah dipengaruhi oleh lingkungan kelas yang kurang kondusif. Tujuan Penelitian ini adalah: 1) Mengetahui implementasi kesepakatan kelas; 2) Mendeskripsikan efektivitas kesepakatan kelas dalam membangun kedisiplinan siswa; 3) memeparkan kendala dan solusi yang dihadapi dalam pelaksanaan kesepakatan kelas dalam membangun kedisiplinan siswa, metode penelitian ini menggunakan deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: 1) implementasi kebijakan kesepakatan kelas dilihat dari waktu pelaksanaan, indikator keberhasilan, kepatuhan terhadap peraturan dan indikator keberhasilan sudah terlaksana namun hasil yang diperoleh belum maksimal dipengaruhi oleh keterlibatan siswa masih rendah 2) efektivitas kebijakan kesepakatan kelas berdasarkan aspek fungsi, rencana dan ketentuan sudah berjalan dengan semestinya namun menemui hambatan pada tahap evaluasi, guru selaku evaluator kebijakan seharusnya melakukan penyelidikan terhadap kebijakan yang sudah ditetapkan 3) kendala yang ditemukan; minimnya antusiasme siswa, sumberdaya kurang memadai, kurangnya koordinasi antar guru, evaluasi kebijakan belum berlaku. Solusi yang harus dilakukan sekolah adalah; memberi rangsangan khusus kepada siswa tentang pentingnya kebijakan, memberdayakan sumberdaya yang ada, kepala sekolah mengadakan rapat dengan wali kelas, guru harus melakukan evaluasi secara rutin dan membuat laporan.
