Abstract

Penelitian telah dilakukan di Jalan Kandih Raya, Kampung Olo Kecamatan Nanggalo, Kota Padang Sumatera Barat. Pelaksanaan penelitian dari bulan Januari sampai April 2020. Tujuan penelitian adalah mendapatkan takaran bokashi kotoran ayam terbaik terhadap pertumbuhan bibit Vanili (Vanilla planifolia). Penelitian dilaksanakan dalam Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK), dengan 6 perlakuan dan 4 kelompok, sehingga terdapat 24 satuan percobaan, pada setiap satuan percobaan terdapat 4 tanaman, maka keseluruhan tanaman berjumlah 96 tanaman. Sebagai perlakuan adalah berbagai takaran bokashi kotoran ayam yaitu : Perlakuan A = 65 g/bibit, B = 75 g/bibit, C = 85 g/bibit, D = 95 g/bibit, E = 105 g/bibit, dan F = 115 g/bibit. Data hasil pengamatan dianalisis secara statistik dengan sidik ragam (uji F), jika F hitung > F tabel 5 % maka untuk mengetahui perlakuan-perlakuan yang berpengaruh, dilakukan uji lanjut dengan Duncan's New Multiple Range Test (DNMRT). Pengamatan meliputi, pertambahan panjang bibit (cm), pertambahan diameter tunas (mm), pertambahan jumlah daun (helai), bobot segar tanaman (g), dan bobot kering tanaman (g). Hasil penelitian mendapatkan bahwa bokashi kotoran ayam takaran 115 g/bibit menunjukkan respon terhadap pertumbuhan bibit Vanili.

Abstract

Penelitian uji biochar tongkol jagung terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman kacang hijau (Vigna radiata L.) telah dilaksanakan di BSIP Kota Padang Provinsi Sumatera Barat dari Desember 2023 sampai Maret 2024. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui pengaruh dan mendapatkan dosis biochar tongkol jagung terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman kacang hijau (Vigna radiata L.). Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL), 4 perlakuan dan 5 ulangan. Perlakuan yang diberikan adalah berbagai dosis biochar tongkol jagung sebagai berikut : A = 100 g/polybag, B = 150 g/polybag, C = 200 g/polybag, D = 250 g/polybag. Data dianalisis secara statistika dengan menggunakan sidik ragam dilanjutkan dengan Duncan’s New Multiple Range Test  pada taraf 5 %.. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pemberian dosis biochar tongkol jagung memberikan pengaruh sangat berbeda nyata terhadap  jumlah cabang primer hasil panen pertanaman, dan berat  100 biji. Berbeda nyata terhadap umur berbunga dan jumlah polong pertanaman. Tidak berbeda nyata terhadap tinggi tanaman, umur panen, dan persentase polong bernas. Pemberian biochar tongkol jagung dengan dosis 150 g/tanaman  merupakan perlakuan terbaik. Disarankan untuk memberikan dosis biochar tongkol jagung 150 g/tanaman  untuk mendapatkan pertumbuhan dan hasil produksi tanaman kacang hijau yang optimal.

Abstract

The community service carried out by the Ekasakti Padang University Team is in the Nagari Tuik area, Batang Kapas District. the northern part of the South Coast District. The community, in general, is farming, because the agricultural land is very large, namely 256 ha. There are still many people who cultivate rice fields, but not many have cultivated corn which further increases income. Because the base price of corn is more stable than the base price of grain. The base price of flat corn alone is between Rp. 2500 – Rp. 5000 a kilo. In addition, corn can be processed into various products such as steamed brownies made from corn and sweet corn pudding. This service socializes the cultivation of sweet corn plants and their processing so that they can increase people's income and increase knowledge about corn cultivation. Knowledge increased from 24.6% to 80.6%. And people's income also increased with the production of steamed brownies with a selling price per unit of Rp. 2,500. BEP will be achieved only when 123 pieces are produced. So if it is produced more than that, it has already benefited. With this sweet corn cultivation program, it can be a community empowerment program

Abstract

The research was conducted in the experimental field of the Faculty of Agriculture, Ekasakti University, Padang. October to December 2021. The research  of giving is to get the best POC concentration of rice washing water and potato skins for the growth and yield of sweet corn (Zea mays saccharata Sturt). The experimental design used was a Randomized Block Design (RAK) with 5 treatments of 5 groups so that in total there were 25 experimental units, each experimental unit contained 4 plants so that the number of plants in the study was 100 plants. Treatment of POC concentration of rice washing water and potato skins as follows: A = 20% POC; B = 30% POC; C = 40% POC; D = 50% POC; E = 60% POC. Observational data obtained were analyzed statistically using variance. The results showed that the administration of POC rice washing water and potato peels had no significant effect on plant height, leaf length and longest leaf width, flowering age, cob length, cob diameter, number of rows on the cob, cob weight per plant, but significantly different on age. harvest. The best concentration of POC in rice washing water and potato peel on the growth and yield of sweet corn has not been found. Keywords: POC, sweet corn, growth, yield

Abstract

Penelitian tentang pengaruh pemberian bokashi pupuk kandang sapi terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman kangkung darat (Ipomoea reptans L.) telah dilaksanakan di Kelurahan, Korong Gadang, Kecamatan Kuranji, Kota Padang, berlangsung dari bulan Januari sampai bulan April 2019. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mendapatkan dosis bokashi pupuk kandang sapi yang terbaik dalam meningkatkan pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman kangkung darat (Ipomoae reptans L.). Penelitian berupa percobaan lapangan menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan 5 perlakuan dan 5 ulangan sehingga terdapat 25 satuan percobaan atau petak. Masing-masing satuan percobaan terdiri dari 9 tanaman sampel. Data hasil pengamatan dianalis secara statistik dengan sidik ragam (Uji F), jika F-hitung lebih besar dari F-tabel, maka dilanjutkan dengan Uji Duncan’s New Multiple Range Test (DNMRT), pada taraf nyata 5 % sebagai perlakuan adalah A = tanpa bokashi pupuk kandang sapi, B = bokashi pupuk kandang sapi 4 ton/ha = 0,5 kg/petak, C = bokashi pupuk kandang sapi 8 ton/ha = 1,0 kg/petak, D = bokashi pupuk kandang sapi 12 ton/ha = 1,5 kg/petak, E = bokashi pupuk kandang sapi 16 ton/ha = 2,0 kg/petak. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dosis bo kashi pupuk kandang sapi memberikan pengaruh berbeda sangat nyata terhadap tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, daun terpanjang, lebar daun terlebar, berat basah per tanaman, dan berat basah per petak. Pemberian dosis bokashi pupuk kandang sapi 16 ton/ha merupakan dosis terbaik terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman kangkung darat.

Abstract

Research "Providing Soil, Oil Palm Empty Bunches Compost (TKKS); NPK Fertilizer 16:16:16 on the Growth of Oil Palm Seeds (Elaeis guineensis Jacq) ”has been implemented in Koto Panjang  Village, Ikur Koto, Koto Tangah District, Padang City. Starting from February to May 2020, the study aims to obtain the best comparison of soil planting media, OPEFB compost and NPK 16:16:16 fertilizer on the growth of oil palm seedlings. The design used was a completely randomized design (CRD), with 7 treatments and 4 replications. As treatment is the ratio of Soil: TKKS and NPK 16:16:16, namely: Treatment A = Soil + 5gr NPK, B = Soil: EFB (1: 1) + 5gr NPK, C = Soil: EFB (1: 1) + 10gr NPK, D = Land: TKKS (2: 1) + 5gr NPK, E = Land: TKKS (2: 1) + 10gr NPK, F = Land: TKKS (3: 1) + 5gr NPK, G = Land: TKKS ( 3: 1) + 10gr NPK. Based on the results of the research, it can be concluded that the provision of land: OPEFB compost; NPK Fertilizer 16:16:16 gave a very significant effect on plant height, weevil diameter, root fresh weight, root dry weight, fresh weight of stems, dry weight of stalks and not significantly different on the number of leaf midribs. Providing soil: The best OPEFB compost is found in treatment D = Soil: EFB (2: 1) + 5gr NPK.

Abstract

This research has been carried out on Jalan Kandih Raya, Olo Village, Nanggalo District, Padang City, West Sumatra. The research was carried out from January to April 2020. This study aimed to obtain the best Vanilla planifolia (Vanilla planifolia) growth response due to the provision of Chicken Manure Bokashi. The design used was a Randomized Block Design (RAK), with 6 treatments and 4 groups, so that there were 24 trials, in each experiment consisting of 4 plants, the total plants used were 96 plants. As treatment are various doses of Bokashi Chicken Manure, namely: Treatment A = 65 g/seed, B = 75 g/seed, C = 85 g/seed, D = 95 g/seed, E = 105 g/seed, F = 115 g /seedling. The results of the data were analyzed statistically by means of variance (F test). If Fcount > Ftable 5%, then to find out the influential treatments, a further test was carried out with Duncan's New Multiple Range Test (DNMRT). increase, increase in seed length (cm), increase in shoot diameter (mm), increase in the number of leaves (strands), plant fresh weight (g), and plant dry weight (g). Based on the results of the study, it was found that offering several doses of chicken manure bokashi gave different effects on the increase in plant length and weight, but not significantly on the increase in tuna diameter, leaf number, and plant weight. Giving bokashi chicken manure 115 g/seed is the best dose for vanilla seedling growth

Abstract

Research on "The Effect of Goat Urine Dosing on Growth and Yield of Pakchoy (Brassica chinensis L.)" has been carried out in the Experimental Garden of the Faculty of Agriculture, Ekasakti University, Padang, which began in July 2019 until September 2019. The aim was to find out and obtain doses The best POC of goat urine on growth and yield of pakchoy (Brassica chinensis L.) plants. This study was arranged in a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with 6 treatments and 4 replications, all consisting of 24 treatment plots with 5 plants in each plot. The treatment is A = without POC, B = 30 mℓ POC / liter of water per plant, C = 60 mℓ POC / liter of water per plant, D = 90 mℓ POC / liter of water per plant , E = 120 mℓ POC / liter of water per plant, F = 150 mℓ POC / liter of water per plant. By giving 4x the plant-1 (100 mℓ, 200 mℓ, 300 mℓ and 400 mℓ). The parameters observed in this study were plant height, number of leaves, longest leaf length, widest leaf width, and wet weight per plant. Data were analyzed statistically by the F test, if F count > F table 5%, then further testing with Duncan's New Multiple Range Test (DNMRT) at 5% significance level. The best yield for growth and yield of pakchoy plants is a dose of 90 mℓ / ℓ water plant-1. Based on the results it can be recommended for the administration of goat urine liquid organic fertilizer to plants of pakchoy (Brassica chinensis L.) at a dose of 90 mℓ / ℓ water per plant.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di kebun percobaan Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Ekasakti Kota Padang Sumatera Barat pada bulan Januari sampai April 2020. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan konsentrasi POC terbaik untuk pertumbuhan bibit kelapa sawit (Elaeis guineensis Jacq). Rancangan yang digunakan adalah Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan 5 perlakuan dan 5 ulangan. Sebagai perlakuan POC (kulit pisang dan lamtoro) adalah: 0 cc/liter air, 25 cc/liter air, 50 cc/liter air, 75 cc/liter air dan 100 cc/liter air. Data hasil pengamatan dianalisis dengan cara varian (uji F), jika F hitung lebih besar dari F tabel, maka dilanjutkan dengan uji DNMRT pada taraf 5%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemberian berbagai konsentrasi POC memberikan pengaruh yang berbeda nyata terhadap pertambahan tinggi bibit, diameter bonggol, berat segar brangkasan, berat kering brangkasan, berat segar akar dan berat brangkasan. berat kering akar, namun tidak berbeda nyata terhadap pertambahan jumlah daun. Pemberian konsentrasi 100 cc/liter air merupakan perlakuan yang paling baik jika dibandingkan dengan perlakuan lainnya.

Abstract

Penelitian tentang Uji POC air cucian beras dan kulit kentang terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman Caisim (Brassica juncea L.) telah dilaksanakan pada lahan percobaan Fakultas pertanian Universitas Ekasakti Padang, dari bulan Desember 2021 sampai Febuari 2022. Tujuan penelitian untuk mendapatkan konsentrasi POC air cucian beras dan kulit kentang terbaik bagi pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman Caisim (brassica juncea L.). Rancangan yang digunakan adalah Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) dengan 6 perlakuan dan 5 ulangan, sehingga terdapat 30 satuan percobaan dan masing-masing terdapat 4 tanaman sehingga terdapat 120 tanaman yang diamati. Perlakuan yang diberikan adalah beberapa konsentrasi POC air cucian beras dan kulit kentang sebagai berikut: A = 0% POC air cucian beras dan kulit kentang, B = 10% POC air cucian beras dan kulit kentang, C = 20% POC air cucian beras dan kulit kentang, D = 30% POC air cucian beras dan kulit kentang, E = 40% POC air cucian beras dan kulit kentang dan F = 50% POC air cucian beras dan kulit kentang. Kesimpulan pemberian beberapa konsentrasi POC air cucian beras dan kulit kentang memberikan pengaruh yang tidak berbeda nyata terhadap tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, umur panen, panjang daun dan lebar daun terpanjang, dan berat segar per tanaman. Belum didapatkan konsentrasi POC air cucian beras dan kulit kentang terbaik untuk pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman Caisim.
