Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has had an impact on the learning process in schools. For this reason, researchers observed learning at SMA Negeri 1 Gorontalo, it was found that students were still not optimal in solving mathematical problems, especially in formulating steps to solve problems. This research aims to improve students' problem-solving abilities by using GeoGebra on three-dimensional material. The research was carried out at SMA Negeri 1 Gorontalo in class XII IPA 5 from September to October of the 2022/2023 academic year with research subjects totaling 30 students. The research is Classroom Action Research (CAR) using the Kemmis and McTaggart model, which involves the stages of planning, action, observation, and reflection. Data was obtained from observation and written tests. Analysis of observation results was obtained by calculating scores for each aspect criterion observed both on the teacher observation sheet and the student observation sheet, while the written test was analyzed by referring to the minimum completeness criteria. The results of the research show that there is an increase in students' problem-solving abilities in three-dimensional material after taking action using the GeoGebra learning media.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of the think pair share type cooperative learning model assisted by educational videos on student learning outcomes in relation and function material. The research was carried out in SMP Negeri 1 Suwawa in the alternate semester of the 2022/2023 academic year. The population in this study was all class VIII, totaling 83 people. The sample used was 20 students in the experimental class and 20 students in the control class. The research results show a significant difference in the average learning outcomes of students who study using the think pair share cooperative learning model, which is higher than the direct learning model.

Abstract

Tujuan Penelitian ini untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada materi Bangun Ruang Sisi Datar dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Student Teams Achievement Divisions (STAD) berbantuan media pembelajaran Celemek Bangun Ruang Sisi Datar (CERDAS). Jenis penelitian ini yaitu penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilakukan di SMP Negeri Daerah Kotabunan pada tahun ajaran 2021-2022 semester genap. Penelitian dilaksanakan dengan melibatkan 21 siswa dan seorang guru sebagai subjek penelitian. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa lembar pengamatan guru, lembar pengamatan siswa dan tes hasil belajar. Penelitian ini berlangsung dengan 2 siklus. Hasil pengamatan kegiatan guru yang mencapai kategori baik dan sangat baik meningkat dari 71,43% menjadi 92,86%. Selanjutnya hasil pengamatan siswa yang mencapai kategori baik dan sangat baik juga maningkat dari 71,43% menjadi 92,86%. Untuk hasil belajar mengalami peningkatan yaitu 71,43% menjadi 85,71%. Semua aspek penilaian telah mencapai indikator keberhasilan belajar pada siklus II dengan penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe “STAD” berbantuan media pembelajaran “CERDAS”.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar matematik asiswa pada materi himpunan melalui model pembelajaran open ended. Penelitian ini adalah jenis penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilaksanakan di SMP Negeri 1 Batudaa pada tahun ajaran 2022-2023. Penelitian dilaksanakan dengan melibatkan 26 siswa sebagai subjek penelitian. Istrumen yang digunakan berupa lembar pengamatan kegiatan guru, lembar pengamatan kegiatan siswa, dan tes hasil belajar siswa. Hasil pengamatan kegiatan guru menunjukkan kategori minimal baik atau sangat baik dengan presentase 97,06% sedangkan hasil pengamatan kegiatan siswa menunjukkan kategori minimal baik atau sangat baik dengan presentase 90%.Adapun tes hasil belajar menunjukkan bahwa banyaknya siswa yang mencapai nilai Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimal adalah 23siswa (88,46%) dan tidak tuntas sebanyak 3 orang siswa (11,54%). Jadi, rata-rata hasil belajar matematika siswa pada materi himpunan telah memenuhi indicator keberhasilan belajar.

Abstract

This research aims to: (1) determine the feasibility of interactive e-book based teaching materials, (2) determine students' responses to the attractiveness of the interactive e-book based teaching materials that have been developed. This research is development research or Research and Development (R&D) using the 4-D (four D) model. This research was carried out at SMP Negeri 1 Kabila. Validation results from material experts and design experts show that the results are worthy of being tested with revisions. Then the teaching materials are tested through 2 stages, namely readability testing and feasibility testing. The average results obtained were 85.33% for the readability test of teaching materials and 81.29% for the feasibility test, 87.47% so that interactive e-book based teaching materials had very positive criteria.

Abstract

This study aims to improve students' mathematical numeracy skills through the Problem Based Learning (PBL) approach. This research was conducted at SMK Negeri 1 Bonepantai in the 2024/2025 academic year. The subjects of this study were 13 class X-TKJ students. Data collection techniques used were observation and tests. The research instruments used were numeracy ability test instruments, instructor activity observation sheets, and student activity observation sheets. This study was conducted in two rounds. This is evident from the fact that teacher activities with good and very good criteria increased by 19.04 percent from 76.2% in cycle I to 95.24 percent in cycle II. Additionally, with high and very strong criteria, student activities rose by 41.14 percent from 47.06 percent in cycle I to 88.2 percent in cycle II. Additionally, students' arithmetic numeracy skills improved by 23.08 percent, rising from 6 1.54 percent in cycle I to 8 4.62% in cycle II. As a result, the action success indicator has been attained by the success indicators for teacher and student observation activities as well as the students' mathematical numeracy skills. Therefore, the use of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model has been scientifically proven to improve the mathematical numeracy ability of Class X students of SMK Negeri 1 Bonepantai.

Abstract

Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pelatihan tentang pembuatan pupuk organik cair dari limbah cucian beras (L-AIBER) dan limbah kulit nanas kepada masyarakat Desa Bulotalangi Timur. Pelatihan ini diadakan sebagai upaya untuk meningkatkan kesadaran dan keterampilan masyarakat dalam memanfaatkan limbah rumah tangga menjadi produk yang bernilai guna tinggi serta ramah lingkungan.Metode yang digunakan dalam pelatihan ini meliputi penyampaian materi secara teoritis mengenai manfaat dan teknik pembuatan pupuk organik cair, diikuti dengan praktek langsung pembuatan pupuk oleh peserta. Hasil dari pelatihan menunjukkan bahwa peserta mampu memahami dan mempraktekkan teknik pembuatan pupuk organik cair dengan baik. Selain itu, pelatihan ini juga berhasil meningkatkan pengetahuan peserta mengenai pentingnya pengelolaan limbah rumah tangga dan manfaat pupuk organik bagi pertanian.Melalui program ini, diharapkan masyarakat Desa Bulotalangi Timur dapat secara mandiri memproduksi pupuk organik cair, mengurangi ketergantungan pada pupuk kimia, dan meningkatkan kualitas hasil pertanian. Program ini juga diharapkan dapat menjadi contoh bagi desa-desa lain dalam mengelola limbah rumah tangga secara produktif dan berkelanjutan.Kata Kunci: pelatihan, POC,  cucian beras,  kulit nanas

Abstract

It is important for schools to improve students' mathematical communication. However, a preliminary study at Public Middle School 1 Bulango Selatan revealed that some students still struggle to solve problems given by the teacher, particularly those related to determining the length of a side of a flat shape, especially in the context of congruence and similarity. Therefore, the intent of this study was to determine the effect of the flipped classroom learning model assisted by Instagram on students' mathematical communication at Public Middle School 1 Bulango Selatan. The method used in this study was an experimental method consisting of an experimental class and a control class with a research design used, namely a post-test-only group design. We conducted a t-test data analysis on both the experimental and control classes. The findings of the study showed that the t-count was greater than the t-table value; specifically, the t-count was 2.083, which is greater than 2.042, leading to the rejection of H0. Thereby, it can be concluded that learning using the flipped classroom learning model on the material of congruence and similarity of flat shapes can affect students' mathematical communication skills.

Abstract

This study aims to improve students’ mathematical reasoning abilities through the implementation of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model in the topic of relations and functions. The research employed a classroom action research (CAR) design conducted in a single cycle. The subjects were 28 students from class VIII-6 at SMP Negeri 2 Limboto in the 2022/2023 academic year. Data collection techniques included teacher activity observation sheets, student activity observation sheets, and a mathematical reasoning ability test. The results indicate that the application of the PBL model effectively enhanced students’ mathematical reasoning. This is evidenced by: (1) the average percentage of teacher activity observations reaching 82% in the good category; (2) the average percentage of student activity observations reaching 83% in the good category; and (3) the average score of the mathematical reasoning test reaching 83. These findings suggest that the PBL model is effective in improving students’ reasoning abilities in learning mathematical relations and functions.

Abstract

The number of students who make mistakes when answering questions related to the Pythagorean Theorem is the impetus for this study, with the aim of identifying errors made by students, as well as calculating the percentage of students who make mistakes related to the Pythagorean theorem based on the Kastolan stage, where students who are the subjects of this study are class VIII students of MTs. Nurul Bahri Kabila Bone. Using quantitative descriptive research methods, data derived from the answers of 17 students were collected and analyzed using descriptive statistical analysis. Six validated description questions were used as research instruments containing questions related to the Pythagorean theorem. The results obtained the percentage of students who made Kastolan stage errors, namely: (1) conceptual errors of 52.9%, with an average of 9 students making this type of error; (2) procedural errors of 82.4%, with an average of 14 students making this type of error; and (3) technical errors of 33.3% with an average of 6 students making this type of error. The errors that obtained the largest percentage of the findings were procedural errors, with the errors encountered including students' unwillingness to solve the problem completely, not recording the known and asked information, and not concluding the answer.
