Abstract

This study aimed to enhance the mathematical efficacy of secondary school students through the implementation of the SAVI (Somatic, Auditory, Visual, and Intellectual) learning model. The study used a quasi-experimental approach with a non-equivalent control group design, involving final-year students at SMA Negeri 1 Sedayu. The sample was determined using cluster random sampling and divided into one experimental group and one control group. Data on self-efficacy was collected using a validated questionnaire and analysed using a t-test. The results of the study showed that the SAVI learning model significantly increased self-efficacy in students compared to conventional learning (p = 0.020 < 0.05). The N-Gain value of 0.37 indicates an improvement in the moderate category for the experimental group. These findings suggest that SAVI learning, which integrates various learning modalities, is effective in building students' self-efficacy through active and collaborative learning experiences.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of the SAVI (Somatic, Auditory, Visual, and Intellectual) learning model on the mathematical self-efficacy and numeracy literacy of grade XII students at SMA Negeri 1 Sedayu. The study used a quasi-experimental method with a non-equivalent control group design. The research sample consisted of an experimental group that received SAVI learning and a control group that used conventional learning. Data were collected through a validated mathematical self-efficacy questionnaire and a numeracy literacy test. Data analysis was carried out using the Independent Sample t-test and the N-Gain test with the help of SPSS 25. The results showed a significance value of 0.020 for the self-efficacy variable and 0.005 for the numeracy literacy variable, which means there is a significant effect of the SAVI model compared to conventional learning. In addition, the results of the N-Gain test showed a moderate increase, namely 0.37 for self-efficacy and 0.52 for numeracy literacy. These findings indicate that the SAVI learning model is effective in improving students' mathematical self-efficacy and numeracy literacy through active, multisensory, and collaborative learning engagement.

Abstract

Sepakbola merupakan salahsatu cabang olahraga yang sangat kompleks sehingga dibutuhkan penanganan khusus agar atlet bisa mencapai puncak prestasinya. Metode latihan memberikan pengaruh yang sangat besar terhadap kondisi fisik atlet sehingga pemilihan metode latihan yang tepat dapat menunjang puncak prestasi atlet. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat pengaruh metode latihan small-sided games terhadap kelincahan dan kelelahan pemain pada cabang olahraga sepakbola. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah true experiment dengan desain penelitian pretest-posttest control group design. 16 sampel dipilih dengan menggunakan teknik two (n) stage random sampling yang dibagi kedalam 2 kelompok yaitu kelompok eksperimen (latihan small-sided games) dan kelompok kontrol (latihan el rondo passing) pelatihan dilakukan selama 4 minggu dengan 12 total pertemuan. Instrument yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Illinois Agility Test untuk mengukur kelincahan dan cunningham and faulkner test untuk mengukur tingkat kelelahan. Hasil penelitian ini didapatkan latihan small-sided games (SSG) dengan intensitas tinggi memiliki pengaruh terhadap kelincahan dan tingkat kelelahan pemain sepakbola.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the implementation of community sports development policies in the context of the "development through sport" paradigm. National development through sports in accordance with the mandate of the Sports Law can be started through community sports which are the basis for the goals of developing the sport itself. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach. This research was conducted in West Java Province using a purposive sampling technique referring to the high sports achievements achieved at the National Sports Week, but it is still low in the sports development index. Interviews, documentation studies, and observations were carried out in the data collection process. To analyze the data collected, we devised seven indicators that are based on the essence of the sports law of the community sports section. The results of this study found that the implementation of the community sports development policy that was implemented was close to conformity with what was stated in the sports law. However, there are still inequalities in some aspects. This happens because there is still a lack of understanding from the government as policy makers, as well as the community as a group affected by the implementation of policies of the importance of sport as an instrument of national development. Therefore, sports policy makers must act immediately in providing solutions to evaluate policies that will be implemented in the future.
