Abstract

Batuk merupakan salah satu respon tubuh dalam mengeluarkan dahak dan digunakan sebagai salah satu sistem pertahanan tubuh. Pilek merupakan gangguan kesehatan pada saluran pernafasan bagian atas yang dapat disebabkan oleh beberapa hal meliputi infeksi dan alergi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui presentase kandungan obat batuk pilek yang dikonsumsi anak-anak, dan obat batuk pilek kombinasi yang banyak digunakan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah menggunakan kuisioner. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kandungan sirup obat batuk pilek pada anak yang sering digunakan adalah guaifenesin sebanyak 20,5%, gliseril guaicolat sebesar 12,6%, pseudoefedrin sebesar 36,8%, phenylpropanolamine sebesar 5,4%, dan dextromethorphan sebesar 24,7%.

Abstract

Silver nanoparticles (AgNPs) have many benefits in the health sector, it has antimicrobial and biomedical Activity. AgNPs can be synthesized by using green chemistry or using chemical substances, such as NaBH4. Green synthesis of AgNPs is an environmentally friendly alternative and has cost-effective production. Capsicum annuum L. combined with Saffron extract was used to synthesize AgNPs. The biosynthesis, characterization, and antibacterial activity of AgNPs were studied in this research. The synthesized AgNPs were characterized by UV- Visible spectroscopy (UV-Vis), Fourier- transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FTIR), and Particle Size Analyzer (PSA). The formation of AgNPs was confirmed by optical performance using UV-VIS spectroscopy and showing a peak of AgNPs at 407 nm. Capsicum Annuum L. combined with Saffron extract contained C-H, C-N, and C=O groups. The particle size was characterized using PSA, the size is 37,74 nm. Capsicum Annuum L. combined with Saffron extract has good antibacterial activity.  Keywords: Green Synthesis, AgNPs, Capsicum annuum L, Saffron.

Silver nanoparticles or Ag-Nanoparticles (AgNPs), which exhibit antimicrobial and biomedical activities, have many benefits in the health sector. AgNPs can be prepared using chemicals such as sodium borohydride (NaBH4). The green synthesis of AgNPs is an environmentally friendly alternative and is cost-effective. Capsicum annuum L. combined with saffron extract was used to synthesize the AgNPs. The biosynthesis, characterization, and antibacterial activity of AgNPs were studied in this study. The synthesized AgNPs were characterized by UV-visible (UV-Vis) spectroscopy, Fourier-transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FTIR), and particle size analysis (PSA). The formation of AgNPs was confirmed by optical performance using UV-VIS spectroscopy, which showed a peak of AgNPs at 407 nm. Capsicum annuum L. combined with saffron extract containing C-H, C-N, and C=O groups. Particle size was characterized using PSA, measuring 37.74 nm with an average SD ±22.10. Abstract

Diarrhea is a condition in which the bowel movements are soft or liquid, and the frequency is three or more times a day. In doing treatment there are still many people who use self-medication methods (self-medication). Self-medication can produce results if doing it is based on sufficient knowledge. Likewise when doing selfmedication in toddlers during diarrhea. Seeing the frequent occurrence of extraordinary events (KLB) in cases of diarrhea in toddlers, this makes mothers have to have knowledge and education to reduce or prevent the incidence of dehydration in children. as well as knowing how the behavior of self-medication or self-medication by mothers when their toddlers are experiencing diarrhea. The method used in this study using quantitative methods with the number of samples used as many as 102 mothers of toddlers who have toddlers and have experienced diarrhea. The data analysis used was bivariate analysis using a questionnaire as a data collection instrument. After the data is collected, the respondent's data processing will be processed using the SPSS version 25 application with the editing, coding, data entry, data cleaning and processing processes.

Abstract

The content of flavonoid compounds in tin leaves has the potential to be an alternative source of natural antioxidants. The purpose of this study was to determine the formulation and physical quality test of tin leaf extract solid soap preparations. This research method is an experimental research and method of making soap using the cold process method. Making tin leaf extract solid soap by collecting the ingredients to be extracted using the maceration method with 70% ethanol solvent, carrying out formulations with extract concentrations of 0% 1% and 3% and evaluating the physical quality of solid soap preparations which include organoleptic tests, pH tests, homogeneity test and foam height test on tin leaf extract solid soap. Organoleptic test of solid soap F0 produces a light green color with black mystique perfume, F1 produces a dark green color with black mystique perfume, F2 produces a brownish green color with strawberry perfume. The pH value obtained, which is 9, meets the requirements, the pH range for solid soap for the skin is 9-11. The homogeneity test showed that the fig leaf extract herbal soap with a concentration of 1% and 3% showed no spots, therefore the fig leaf solid soap fulfilled the homogeneity requirements. The soap foam height test showed that soap produced foam (F0= 9.16Ccm, F1= 8cm, F2= 8.16cm).

Abstract

Hypertension is the leading cause of premature death worldwide. An estimated 1.28 billion  adults aged 30-79 years worldwide have hypertension. Treatment of hypertension is usually aimed at preventing morbidity and mortality from hypertension. The choice of drugs for each patient's hypertension depends on the metabolic and subjective side effects caused. This study aims to determine the effectiveness profile of antihypertensive drugs amlodipine 10 mg or lisinopril 10 mg in outpatients at the Sidoarjo Pratama Clinic for January- March 2023. This research method is observational, with a cross-sectional approach and data collection. Quantitative analysis was then done using the statistical program SPSS 24 with univariate analysis. The results of the independent t-test showed a significance value for the systolic category of 0.780 > 0.05 and a significance value for the diastolic category of 0.931 > 0.05. Patients receiving therapy with amlodipine 10 mg or lisinopril 10 mg reached the target in 30 patients. After doing the independent t-test before and after therapy in both the systolic category and the diastolic category, it can be concluded that there is no significant difference in the effectiveness of the two groups. Abstract

Pharmaceutical Services at the Hospital is an integral part of the Hospital's health care system that is patient-oriented, providing Pharmaceutical Preparations Medical Devices, and Medical Materials that are quality and affordable for all levels of society including clinical pharmacy services (Anonymous, 2016) Besed on the Decree of the Minister of Health of the Republic of Indonesia No 179 Menkes/SK/11/2008, the SPM indicator of hospital pharmacy services includes the waiting time for drug services to be a maximum of 30 minutes while the maximum concoction drug is 60 minutes, the absence of medication errors, stalaction customers at least 80% and prescription writing all must refer to the Hospital formulary This study aims to find out the Waiting Time (Respond Time) of Prescription Services for Finished Medicines and drugs mixed with BPJS patients Outpatient in Bangil Hospital. This research is a non-experimental research with descriptive approach, namely the type of research approach to obtain an overview of the state of a group of data based on observations the real thing is, data collection is done in the Outpatient Pharmacy Service at Hangil Hospital, and is carried out for three months. The total mumber of prescription samples erered in the pharmacy installation for three months a 12.587 prescriptions with details of 10,770 prescriptions of JKN BPJS 85.27% 1,808 peral recipes 14 66% and 9 other insurance recipes 0.07% Among the recipe for JKN BPIS obtained during the study were 90.23% of non-concoction recipes and 9.77% of recipe recipes. The results of the study were obtaining results, the number of prescriptions from patients was 85.27% more than prescriptions from general patients 14 66% and other insurance 0.07%. The average waiting time for non-concoction recipe services in 25 minutes, and concoctions are 62 minutes

Abstract

Pharmaceutical service is direct and responsible service to patients related to pharmaceutical preparations to improve the quality of life of the patients. One of the health service facilities is the hospital. Hospitals are required to provide quality services for the creation of a satisfaction. Satisfaction is closely related to the expected service and the reality of service that has been given. Therefore it is necessary to measure patient satisfaction to see how far the services provided in accordance with the expectations of patients. The research is using deskriptif prospektif metode and using purposive sampling technique. The study was conducted in February 2020, by giving a questionnaire to the visiting patients and having receivedpharmaceutical services at the "x" hospital in Sidoarjo. Able to communicated well, used Indonesian, willing to be interviewed with the provisions of 18 years old, 19-45 years old and ≥46 years old. The perception of patients satisfied about the tangible of 72%, emphaty indicator of 66% with satisfied categories, and reability indicator of 67% with satisfied categories so the average percentage of overall out patient BPJS satisfaied. The conclusion of this research is that the services provided in the installation of the "x" pharmacy to patients are categorized as well.

Abstract

Sabun merupakan salah satu kebutuhan yang terus menerus dikonsumsi dalam rumah tangga. Ekstrak stawberry memiliki aroma segar, warna menarik, serta memiliki aktivitas antioksidan, sehingga dapat lebih efektif dalam membunuh kuman dan bakteri serta melindungi tubuh dari virus di masa pandemi seperti ini. Sabun yang berkualitas memiliki harga jual yang tinggi. Untuk mengatasi hal tersebut, pelatihan ini diadakan untuk memberikan keterampilan pembuatan sabun kepada Ibu- Ibu di Desa Waru, Sidoarjo. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah untuk menambah wawasan dan keterampilan Ibu- Ibu di Desa Waru  dalam pembuatan sabun yang berkualitas. Di masa mendatang, kegiatan ini dapat dimanfaatkan oleh Ibu-Ibu Desa Waru untuk meningkatkan penghasilan tambahan, sehingga memiliki kegiatan produktif yang bernilai ekonomis. Diharapkan melalui kegiatan ini, masyarakat mampu menciptakan peluang lapangan kerja baru dan berwirausaha. Pembuatan sabun home made ini sangat mudah, bahan yang digunakan juga dapat ditemui di pasaran. Pembuatan sabun homemade ini juga dapat digunakan untuk mengurangi biaya pengeluaran rumah tangga. Sabun homemade ini memiliki harga yang lebih murah, serta dalam satu kali produksi menghasilkan sabun dalam jumlah yang banyak.
