Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji penerapan Board Game sebagai alat pedagogis baru di bidang tata bahasa Inggris. Materi yang ditekankan meliputi kata sifat posesif, kata keterangan, kata kerja, kata benda, dan kata ganti subjek. Tujuan utama dari penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan pemahaman siswa melalui metodologi interaktif dan menarik. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah Research and Devloment (R&D) menggunakan model ADDIE, yang terdiri dari tahapan analisis, desain, pengembangan, implementasi, dan evaluasi. Temuan dari percobaan menunjukkan bahwa media permainan papan secara substansif dapat meningkatkan motivasi siswa untuk belajar dan pemahaman mereka tentang konsep tata bahasa. Oleh karena itu, permainan papan secara efektif digunakan sebagai media pendidikan yang menumbuhkan pengalaman belajar tata bahasa yang lebih menyenangkan dan bermakna.

Abstract

The rapid progression of digital technology has profoundly impacted financial behavior, especially via the extensive use of fintech technologies like pay-later services, mobile banking, and e-wallets. Although these technologies provide ease, they may also result in poor money management and impulsive spending. This research investigates the financial management practices of public officials in the Pontianak Ministry of Law and Human Rights concerning fintech payments, financial literacy, and financial self-efficacy. A quantitative associative methodology was used to collect data from 150 respondents selected via purposive sampling. The investigation, conducted using multiple linear regression, indicates that fintech payments, financial literacy, and financial self-efficacy significantly enhance financial management. The regression equation Y = 1.539 + 0.105X1 + 0.209X2 + 0.589X3 indicates that financial self-efficacy has the most substantial impact, followed by fintech payments and financial literacy. The findings suggest that fintech payments enhance transaction efficiency; yet, a lack of understanding and self-discipline may result in financial irresponsibility. Participants with improved financial literacy demonstrated advancements in planning, budgeting, and differentiating between requirements and wants. Likewise, those with heightened financial self-efficacy had more confidence in their financial management, leading to a decrease in impulsive spending. This study underscores the need of improving financial education and fostering self-efficacy to enable people to optimize the advantages of fintech while minimizing dangers. These findings provide significant insights for organizations and authorities seeking to enhance the financial welfare of government personnel in a more digital landscape.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effectiveness of using the Wordwall application in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) for children with special needs, particularly deaf students at SLB Kokalukuna. The research is based on the need for engaging and adaptive learning media that meets the specific learning needs of students with disabilities. This research uses a descriptive qualitative method with a case study approach. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and questionnaires distributed to students. The results show that Wordwall is highly favored by students in Islamic studies classes. 100% of the participants stated that the application is interesting and suits their learning needs due to its visual and interactive nature. Furthermore, 80% of the students expressed willingness to continue using Wordwall in future learning, while 20% faced challenges due to limited technological facilities. The study concludes that Wordwall is an effective and inclusive learning tool for children with special needs, provided it is supported by adequate infrastructure.

Abstract

This research aims to investigate the effect of the shadowing technique on improving the speaking skills of eleventh-grade students at SMA Negeri 2 Palu, particularly in terms of accuracy and comprehensibility. Shadowing is a learning method that involves listening to and immediately repeating the speech of a native speaker to develop natural pronunciation, intonation, and sentence structure. This study used a pre-experimental design with a one-group pre-test and post-test model. The subjects were 27 eleventh-grade students selected through purposive sampling. The research instrument was an oral speaking test that focused on two assessment aspects: accuracy and comprehensibility. The results showed an increase in the students’ average score from 42.12 in the pre-test to 62.03 in the post-test. The hypothesis testing using a t-test revealed that the t-count value (3.936) was higher than the t-table value (1.706) at a 0.05 significance level, indicating that the hypothesis was accepted. This means that the shadowing technique was effective in improving students’ speaking skills, especially in helping them overcome difficulties in pronunciation, grammar, and vocabulary. Based on these findings, the shadowing technique can be considered an effective and interactive strategy for teaching speaking in English language classrooms.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis keterampilan proses sains yang dimiliki oleh peserta didik selama pembelajaran daring pada materi fisika. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Dalam penelitian ini akan dibagikan instrument keterampilan proses sains fisika terhadap 30 peserta didik kelas XI yang masuk 10 besar pada tiga Sekolah Menengah Atas di Kabupaten Gowa yang masih menerapkan system pembelajaran Daring sampai saat ini yaitu SMA Aksara Bajeng, SMA Handayani Sungguminasa, dan SMAN 19 Gowa. Instrumen keterampilan proses sains dibagikan secara online. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan menggunakan analisis deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara garis besar keterampilan proses sains yang dimiliki oleh peserta didik dominan berada pada kategori rendah dengan frekuensi terbanyak yaitu 13 orang, 12 orang berada pada kategori sedang, 4 orang pada kategori sangat rendah dan 1 orang berada pada kategori tinggi. Sedangkan untuk setiap indikator keterampilan proses sains, dari 7 indikator terdapat 4 indikator yang masuk kategori rendah dan 3 indikator berada pada kategori sedang. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa keterampilan proses sains peserta didik pada materi fisika dalam pembelajaran daring dominan masih tergolong rendah.

Abstract

Tourism is one of the industries that is expected to be able toincrease economic growth and become a contributor to thecountry's foreign exchange. Indonesia is a country that is rich inuniqueness, beauty and diversity. One of them is located in KutaiKartanegara Regency in East Kalimantan Province. KutaiKartanegara has various natural and artificial tourist destinationswith potential prospects to be developed and managed. One of thenatural attractions is the Duta Pemedas Beach tour in Samboja.This study aims to analyze and determine the effect of TouristAttractions, Facilities and Accessibility on Tourist Satisfaction atDuta Pemedas Beach, Samboja, Kutai Kartanegara Regency. Thistype of research uses explanatory (exploratory research) with aquantitative approach. The population in this research is the beachvisitors of Pemedas ambassador with a sample of 100 respondents,using probability sampling and simple random sampling method.Data analysis used multiple regression with the help of SPSSversion 25 program. The results obtained from this study are (1)Tourist Attraction has a significant effect on Tourist Satisfaction atDuta Pemedas Beach Samboja, Kutai Kartanegara Regency; (2)Facilities have a significant effect on Tourist Satisfaction at DutaPemedas Beach, Samboja, Kutai Kartanegara Regency; (3)Accessibility has a significant effect on tourist satisfaction at DutaPemedas Beach, Samboja, Kutai Kartanegara Regency; and (4)Tourist Attraction, Facilities and Accessibility have a significantsimultaneous effect on Tourist Satisfaction at Duta Pemedas Beach,Samboja, Kutai Kartanegara Regency.

Abstract

Tempe secara tradisional dibuat dari kedelai yang difermentasi, disajikan dalam bentuk kue dan dikonsumsi sebagai makanan pokok di Indonesia. Salah satu makanan yang mengandung sumber protein adalah tempe. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah menguji protein pada suatu produk, yaitu tempe dengan melakukan perbandingan. Metode pengujian menggunakan reagent biuret secara spektrofotometri pada tempe dengan 4 perlakuan. Perlakuan dalam pengujian adalah tempe dalam kemasan plastik dan daun. Hasil dari pengujian dengan 4 perlakuan pada tempe dalam kemasan plastik dan daun, didapatkan hasil tempe yang dibungkus dengan plastik pada sampel 1 menunjukkan rata-rata 0,125 dengan standar deviasi sebesar 0,053, sedangkan tempe yang dibungkus dengan daun pada sampel 1 memiliki rata-rata 0,139 dengan standar deviasi 0,084. Tempe dibungkus dengan plastik pada sampel 2 menunjukkan rata-rata sebesar 1,117 dengan standar deviasi 0,047, sedangkan tempe dibungkus daun pada sampel 2 menunjukkan rata-rata sebesar 0,133 dengan standar deviasi 0,121. Kesimpulan dari hasil pengujian ini adalah perhitungan dari kadar protein pada tempe hasil signifikan berupa kadar protein dari tempe kemasan plastik sebesar 0,776 dan tempe kemasan daun simpur sebesar 0,906.

Abstract

The circulation of food products containing hazardous chemical substances remains a serious issue in consumer protection efforts in Indonesia. This condition poses significant risks to public health and indicates that food safety regulations have not yet been fully effective. This study aims to analyze the forms of legal protection for consumers, the liability of business actors for consumer losses, and the role of the Food and Drug Supervisory Agency (BPOM) in supervising and enforcing against the distribution of food products containing hazardous chemical substances. This research employs a normative juridical method with a statutory approach, conducted through a literature review of primary, secondary, and supporting legal materials. The results show that consumer protection is comprehensively regulated by Law Number 8 of 1999 on Consumer Protection, Law Number 18 of 2012 on Food, and relevant BPOM regulations. Business actors are strictly liable for consumer losses and may face civil, administrative, and criminal sanctions. BPOM plays a strategic role in supervision and enforcement; however, it still faces various challenges in practical implementation. Therefore, strengthening supervision, ensuring consistent law enforcement, and increasing legal awareness among business actors and consumers are necessary to achieve effective consumer protection.

Abstract

Background: Conscious patients receiving mechanical ventilation in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) often experience communication barriers due to the inability to speak despite preserved cognitive function. This condition contributes to anxiety, frustration, and potentially compromises patient safety and the quality of nursing care. Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC), specifically low-tech communication boards, has been recommended as a solution to support communication in conscious patients on ventilators. However, the implementation of AAC in the ICU remains suboptimal due to limited nurse competency and the lack of a standardized and structured educational model. Purpose: To identify the types of AAC communication boards used in conscious patients on ventilators in the ICU and the learning methods reported to be most effective in improving nurse competency in their use. Method: This scoping review was conducted using the Joanna Briggs Institute (JBI) methodology and reported following PRISMA-ScR guidelines. A literature search was conducted in PubMed, CINAHL, and ScienceDirect for publications from 2015–2025. Quantitative, qualitative, and mixed-methods studies were included. Article selection was conducted independently by two reviewers, and methodological quality was assessed using the JBI critical appraisal checklist. Results: Six articles met the inclusion criteria, demonstrating that structured education on the use of AAC communication boards contributed to improved nurses' knowledge, skills, attitudes, and acceptance in facilitating communication with conscious patients on ventilators. Key contributing factors included clinical practice-based training, organizational support, and nurse involvement in intervention development. Identified barriers included time constraints, high nurse workload, and diverse patient clinical conditions. Conclusion: A low-tech AAC communication board is a feasible and practical intervention to support communication in conscious patients on mechanical ventilators in the ICU. Sustainable implementation is strongly influenced by structured nurse education, experiential learning, and institutional support.   Keywords: Communication Board; Conscious Patients on Ventilators; Intensive Care Unit; Nurse Competence; Structured Education.   Pendahuluan: Pasien sadar yang menggunakan ventilasi mekanik di Intensive Care Unit (ICU) sering mengalami hambatan komunikasi akibat ketidakmampuan berbicara meskipun fungsi kognitif tetap terjaga. Kondisi ini berkontribusi terhadap kecemasan, frustrasi, dan berpotensi menurunkan keselamatan pasien serta mutu asuhan keperawatan. Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC), khususnya papan komunikasi berteknologi rendah, telah direkomendasikan sebagai solusi untuk mendukung komunikasi pasien ventilator sadar. Namun, implementasi AAC di ICU masih belum optimal akibat keterbatasan kompetensi perawat dan belum tersedianya model edukasi terstruktur yang terstandar. Tujuan: Untuk mengidentifikasi jenis papan komunikasi AAC yang digunakan pada pasien ventilator mekanik sadar di ICU serta metode pembelajaran yang dilaporkan lebih efektif dalam meningkatkan kompetensi perawat dalam penggunaanya. Metode: Penelitian scoping review dengan pendekatan berdasarkan metodologi Joanna Briggs Institute (JBI) dan dilaporkan mengikuti pedoman PRISMA-ScR. Penelusuran literatur dilakukan pada PubMed, CINAHL, dan ScienceDirect untuk publikasi tahun 2015–2025. Studi kuantitatif, kualitatif, dan metode campuran disertakan. Proses seleksi artikel dilakukan secara independen oleh dua penelaah dan kualitas metodologis dinilai menggunakan JBI critical appraisal checklist. Hasil: Sebanyak 6 artikel memenuhi kriteria inklusi, menunjukkan bahwa edukasi terstruktur penggunaan papan komunikasi AAC berkontribusi terhadap peningkatan pengetahuan, keterampilan, sikap, dan penerimaan perawat dalam memfasilitasi komunikasi pasien ventilator sadar. Faktor pendukung utama meliputi pelatihan berbasis praktik klinis, dukungan organisasi, dan keterlibatan perawat dalam pengembangan intervensi. Hambatan yang ditemukan mencakup keterbatasan waktu, beban kerja perawat yang  tinggi, dan variasi kondisi klinis pasien. Simpulan: Papan komunikasi AAC berteknologi rendah merupakan intervensi yang layak dan praktis untuk mendukung komunikasi pasien ventilator mekanik sadar di ICU. Implementasi berkelanjutan sangat dipengaruhi oleh pendidikan perawat yang terstruktur, pembelajaran berbasis pengalaman, dan dukungan institusional.   Kata Kunci: Edukasi Terstruktur; Intensive Care Unit; Kompetensi Perawat; Papan Komunikasi; Pasien Ventilator Sadar.
