Abstract

Childbirth often involves significant pain, which can negatively affect maternal well-being and labor progress. Effleurage massage, a simple non-pharmacological technique, has shown potential in reducing labor pain through stimulation of endorphin release. This study aims to evaluate the effect of effleurage massage on decreasing pain intensity during the first stage of labor among mothers in the Kepenuhan Community Health Center area. The research employed a quantitative pre-experimental design with pre-test and post-test on 15 primigravida women in the active phase of labor. Data were collected using pain scales and analyzed with a paired t-test. The results indicated a significant reduction in pain scores, with mean pain decreasing from 8.33 (SD=1.345) before massage to 6.20 (SD=1.082) after massage (p<0.05). It is concluded that effleurage massage effectively reduces labor pain during the active phase. This intervention can be recommended as an economical, safe, and non-invasive method to improve maternal comfort during labor. Further research with larger samples and control groups is necessary to strengthen these findings.

Abstract

Gelandangan dan pengemis merupakan masalah sosial yang sering dijumpai khususnya di kota-kota besar. Tidak bisa dipungkiri semakin majunya pembangunan, maka semakin banyak munculnya gelandangan dan pengemis. Hal ini dikarenakan semakin meningkatnya kebutuhan hidup masyarakat sedangkan lapangan pekerjaan yang tersedia tidak memadai. Untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut maka pemerintah membuat kebijakan dalam menangani gelandangan dan pengemis yang tertuang dalam Peraturan Daerah Nomor 09 Tahun 2012 di Kota Palangka Raya. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan dan menganalisa implementasi kebijakan penanganan gelandangan dan pengemis di Kota Palangka Raya dan untuk mengetahui faktor pendukung dan penghambat implementasi kebijakan penanganan gelandangan dan pengemis di Kota Palangka Raya. Teori yang digunakan penulis dalam penelitian ini yaitu model implementasi kebijakan publik Matriks Matland yang mana dalam prinsipnya memiliki empat tepat yaitu ketepatan kebijakan, ketepatan pelaksanaan, ketepatan target dan ketepatan lingkungan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif yang diperoleh dengan wawancara mendalam, analisi data sekunder dan pengamatan di lapangan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang dilakukan, diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa pelaksanaan kebijakan penanganan gelandangan dan pengemis di Kota Palangka Raya telah membuahkan hasil yang sudah cukup baik. Namun, masih banyak gelandangan dan pengemis yang tidak mengindahkan larangan yang ada dan informasi yang diberikan Dinas Sosial kepada masyarakat kurang optimal selama ini karena masih banyak masyarakat yang tidak mengetahui larangan memberikan barang maupun uang kepada gelandangan pengemis dan masih menganggap itu sebagai sedekah dan membantu sesama.

Abstract

Background: Penyuluhan merupakan kegiatan menyebarluaskan hal baru agar masyarakat tertarik dan bersedia menerapkan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Saat ini, masih banyak orang yang menganggap bahwa madu hanya bermanfaat sebagai pemanis sehingga tingkat konsumsi madu di Indonesia tergolong rendah. Penyuluhan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengenalan madu sekaligus mendorong masyarakat, khususnya dimulai dari segmen anak-anak tentang pemahaman madu akan manfaat mengkonsumsi rutin madu. Metode: Kegiatan dilaksanakan di Graha Yatim & Dhuafa Yayasan Robbani, Kecamatan Kesambi, Kota Cirebon, Jawa Barat. Jumlah anak yang mengikuti kegiatan ini sebanyak 16 orang. Pelaksanaan kegiatan dilakukan dengan 3 tahap yaitu tahap observasi, tahap edukasi, dan tahap evaluasi. Hasil: Hasil penyuluhan terlihat pada saat tahap evaluasi dimana anak-anak dapat menjawab pertanyaan pemateri dengan baik. Pada saat penyampaian materi, peserta memberikan respon dengan sangat antusias karena materi yang disampaikan dikemas sedemikian rupa agar mudah dipahami oleh anak-anak. Kesimpulan: Penyuluhan ini dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan anak-anak tentang pentingnya mengonsumsi madu bagi kesehatan.

Abstract

This study was conducted to address the low level of social skills and learning activeness of Group B students at TK ’Aisyiyah Bustanul Athfal 1 Madiun City, which in the preliminary research only reached 48.6% and 46.3% in the “very well developed” category. As a solution, teachers developed a learning medium based on Microsites containing games, materials, and stories with simple animated displays that can be accessed through an Interactive Flat Panel. The results of the study showed that the use of Microsites was able to improve social skills, such as peer interaction, environmental awareness, and empathy in learning, as well as enhance learning activeness through focus, participation, and initiative. The percentage of social skills increased to 81.1% and learning activeness to 80.9%, proving that Microsites are effective as an innovative learning medium in the digitalization era.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the issue of low independence and responsibility observed among Group B1 students at TK ‘Aisyiyah Bustanul Athfal 1 Kota Madiun. Initial observations indicated that most children relied heavily on teacher assistance for daily activities and lacked awareness regarding their tasks. This study aims to enhance these character traits by implementing the Positive Discipline approach, a method that emphasizes understanding and self-awareness without resorting to punishment. The study employed Collaborative Classroom Action Research based on the Kemmis and McTaggart model, conducted over two cycles. The subjects involved were 17 students from Group B1. Data collection techniques included observation, questionnaires, and documentation, which were then analyzed using the Miles and Huberman interactive model. The results demonstrated a significant improvement in each cycle. In the pre-cycle condition, the average level of independence and responsibility was only 25.46%. After implementing Positive Discipline through class agreements in Cycle I, these figures rose to 53% for independence and 54.8% for responsibility. By Cycle II, the scores surged to 88.23% for both traits, successfully exceeding the established success indicators. It can be concluded that the application of Positive Discipline is effective in building independence and responsibility in early childhood, while simultaneously creating a more enjoyable and meaningful learning Atmosphere.
