Abstract

Modification of economic class coach originally is not designed to use package air conditioner. it was changed to use package air conditioner. It will be eliminated a few part of the train roof for air conditioner package holder. For ensure that the package air conditioner’s holder is safe, then it was analysed by strength analyses. Make remodeling the train roof and air conditioner holder structure with solidwork 2017. This structure use SS400 which has yield strength of 245 MPa., The mass of package air conditioner are 375 kg. The result of maximum stress is 31,866 MPa. Safety of factor’s result is 7,7. And then for the displacement’s value is 1173 mm. From this analysis shows that the structural strength of the package air conditioner’s holder is still in safe condition.

Abstract

Infrastructure management is a development from strategic management which is part of sustainable economic development. This study aims to determine the characteristics of movement, traffic performance on toll roads and main roads, cost savings associated with industrial activities in West Cikarang to West Karawang region to improve the logistic distribution and accessibility of the Deltamas Industrial Estate Area. The visum program was developed as effort to analyzed transportation network in the study area referring to survey results obtained. The results stated that every road network development there was an increase in speed and decrease in v/c ratio so as to improve network performance. In addition, the results of study also concluded that there were savings in the analysis of economic costs related to travel costs and experienced reduction in air pollution levels which can be improved logistic distribution. For this reason, strengthening network performance in encouraging increased accessibility is needed.

Abstract

The habit of pedestrians in using the road when crossing the road is in the spotlight because it will cause traffic jams so that they are prone to accidents. No road user wants to experience such an accident, whether it is a minor accident or an accident that is fatal and leads to death. Pelican crossings are made to minimize pedestrian accidents, but this facility does not guarantee that accidents will not occur. Problems arise when pressing the crossing button will create congestion and noise due to the notification sound of the crossing. When someone wants to cross it will result in the accumulation of vehicles around because they are waiting for irregular pedestrians to cross. The purpose of this research is to design a pedestrian Puffin Crossing advance simulation that is more adaptive and safe. The research was conducted by making a prototype using a microcontroller and several sensors which will later be used as a medium for interaction between drivers and pedestrians. The results of the prototype research can work well and in accordance with the function of each component. The recommended minimum number of pedestrians is 4 waders, the minimum required waiting time is 5 seconds, while the crossing time is conditioned based on pedestrian sensor readings at the zebra cross.

Abstract

Transportation providers, especially car rental entrepreneurs, must choose a car that can cover all the mobilization needs of their consumers. In determining the type of vehicle used for the operational unit, car rental entrepreneurs in Bali in particular must choose the right, effective, and fuel-efficient vehicle. This study aims to calculate and compare the VOC and identify the benefits obtained from each type of vehicle that is the object of this research, namely the Toyota Avanza, Suzuki Ertiga, and Honda Mobilio. The method used for calculating vehicle operating costs in this case study uses the method from the Ministry of Transportation which is adapted to the conditions of the informants. In this study, three types of vehicles were used, namely the Toyota Avanza, Suzuki Ertiga, and Honda Mobilio. The results of the VOCcalculation show that the Suzuki Ertiga car has the lowest VOC and the highest income is generated by the Honda Mobilio. The calculation of the Fare Box Ratio shows that operating the three cars on rental generates profits. ABSTRAK Pengusaha penyedia transportasi khususnya pengusaha penyewaan mobil harus memilih mobil yang dapat mencangkup semua kebutuhan mobilisasi konsumennya. Dalam menentukan jenis kendaraan yang digunakan untuk unit operasional, pengusaha penyewaan mobil di Bali khususnya harus memilih kendaraan yang tepat, efektif, dan irit bahan bakar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghitung dan membandingkan BOK dan mengidentifikasi keuntungan yang didapatkan dari tiap jenis kendaraan yang menjadi objek penelitian ini yakni mobil Toyota Avanza, Suzuki Ertiga dan Honda Mobilio. Metode yang digunakan untuk perhitungan Biaya Operasional kendaraan dalam studi kasus ini dengan menggunakan metode dari Kementerian Perhubungan yang disesuaikan dengan kondisi narasumber. Pada penelitian ini menggunakan tiga jenis kendaraan yaitu mobil Toyota Avanza, Suzuki Ertiga dan Honda Mobilio. Hasil perhitungan BOK didapatkan mobil Suzuki Ertiga memiliki BOK terendah dan Pendapatan tertinggi dihasilkan oleh mobil Honda Mobilio. Menurut perhitungan Fare Box Ratio menunjukkan bahwa mengoperasionalkan ketiga mobil tersebut pada rental menghasilkan keuntungan.

Abstract

The implementation of existing activities within the minimarket company needs to be supported more in its implementation. The distribution process has a very big role in minimarket performance. Broadly speaking, there are 3 factors that support logistics performance, namely the strategic location of distribution centers, transportation and optimal product supply. In this study, survey analysis was used at several points of Indomaret outlets in the city of Banyuwangi. The purpose of this study is to determine the efforts that must be made to improve the performance of the logistics flow in Indomaret, Banyuwangi city. The results of this study indicate that the selection of the strategic location of the logistics center gets a percentage of 60% of respondent stating a very good factor to improve the logistics distribution flow of minimarkets, the transportation factor getting 50% of respondents expressing the opinion that transportation is a good or even very good factor to improve logistics distribution channels. minimarkets, and optimal product inventory get 50% of respondents to express opinions about good factors to improve the logistics distribution flow of minimarkets. By increasing these 3 factors, it will encourage an increase in the performance of the logistics distribution channel in minimarkets. ABSTRAK Pelaksanaan kegiatan yang ada di dalam perusahaan minimarket perlu didukung lebih dalam pelaksanaannya. Proses distribusi memiliki peranan yang sangat besar dalam kinerja minimarket. Secara garis besar terdapat 3 faktor yang mendukung kinerja logistik yaitu lokasi strategis pusat distribusi, transportasi, dan persedian produk optimal. Dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode analisis survei yang dilakukan dibeberapa titik gerai Indomaret yang ada di Kota Banyuwangi. Adapun tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui upaya yang harus dilakukan sebagai peningkatan kinerja alur logistik di Indomaret kota Banyuwangi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwasanya pemilihan lokasi strategis pusat logistik mendapatkan persentase 60% responden menyatakan faktor yang sangat baik untuk meningkatkan alur distribusi logistik minimarket , faktor transportasi mendapatkan 50% responden mengemukakan pendapat bahwa transportasi merupakan faktor yang baik atau bahkan sangat baik untuk meningkatkan alur distribusi logistik minimarket, dan persediaan produk optimal mendapatkan 50% responden mengemukakan pendapat menjadikannya faktor yang baik untuk meningkatkan alur distribusi logistik minimarket. Dengan meningkatkan 3 faktor tersebut akan mendorong terjadinya peningkatan kinerja alur distribusi logistik di minimarket.

Abstract

Land transportation is a key pillar in the freight transportation system that is often faced with various operational risk events. This study aims to identify risk agents and develop mitigation strategies for transporting goods through land transportation. The House of Risk (HOR) method identifies risks, determines priority risk agents, and formulates effective mitigation strategies. Based on observations and questionnaire analysis, 14 risk events caused by 21 risk agents were identified, of which 12 agents were categorized as priority and nine as non-priority. Delays in issuing delivery notes or bills of lading (A4) were identified as the risk agent with the highest priority index of 3954.71. Of the 16 risk-handling strategies formulated, periodic inspection and maintenance of vehicles (PA2) has the highest Effectiveness to Difficulty (ETD) value of 63755.2. The results of this study provide a systematic framework for risk management in land transportation to improve the effectiveness and reliability of freight operations.

Abstract

Kampanye Safety Riding merupakan kegiatan yang dilakukan di SMK Pariwisata Triatma Jaya dengan tujuan meningkatkan kesadaran dan pemahaman siswa mengenai keselamatan berkendara. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk mengurangi risiko kecelakaan lalu lintas dan menciptakan budaya keselamatan yang kuat di lingkungan sekolah. Dalam kampanye ini, dilakukan berbagai kegiatan seperti seminar, workshop, dan sosialisasi mengenai aturan keselamatan berkendara. Melalui metode pengajaran yang interaktif dan partisipatif, siswa diberikan informasi mengenai pentingnya menggunakan helm, sabuk pengaman, dan mengikuti aturan lalu lintas saat berkendara. Kegiatan PKM dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode pemberian materi melalui paparan teori dikelas dan praktek langsung dilapangan. Hasil PKM menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar siswa memiliki tingkat pengetahuan yang rendah mengenai keselamatan berkendara sebelum mengikuti kampanye ini. Namun, setelah mengikuti kampanye, terjadi peningkatan signifikan dalam pemahaman dan kesadaran siswa mengenai aturan keselamatan berkendara. Kegiatan kampanye Safety Riding ini juga berhasil menciptakan perubahan positif dalam perilaku siswa. Para siswa diharapkan menggunakan helm dengan konsisten, mengikat sabuk pengaman saat berkendara, dan lebih memperhatikan aturan lalu lintas. Selain itu, kampanye ini juga memberikan pengaruh positif terhadap lingkungan sekolah, dengan adanya peningkatan kesadaran akan keselamatan berkendara di antara siswa dan staf sekolah. Dalam kesimpulannya, kampanye Safety Riding di SMK Pariwisata Triatma Jaya telah berhasil meningkatkan kesadaran dan pemahaman siswa mengenai keselamatan berkendara. Kegiatan ini memberikan kontribusi positif dalam mengurangi risiko kecelakaan lalu lintas di kalangan siswa dan menciptakan lingkungan sekolah yang lebih aman. Diharapkan kampanye ini dapat menjadi inspirasi bagi sekolah lain dalam meningkatkan kesadaran dan keselamatan berkendara di kalangan siswa.

Abstract

Pemerintah Indonesia melalui kementerian pekerjaan umum telah menetapkan beberapa Kawasan metropolitan yang berkembang diantaranya Kawasan SARBAGITA. Kawasan tersebut meliputi Kota Denpasar sebagai pusat perekonomian dan daerah penyokongnya Kabupaten Badung, Kabupaten Gianyar, dan Kabupaten Tabanan. Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan dan menganalisis kelayakan aksesibilitas angkutan umum dikawasan metropolitan SARBAGITA untuk mendukung aktifitas masyarakat sekitar. Dari segi aksesibilitas angkutan umum memiliki fasilitas penunjang diantaranya terminal, halte, dan jalan yang mana dari tiga fasilitas tersebut merupakan simpul transportasi yang perlu diperhatikan dalam evaluasi. Hasil dari evaluasi didapatkan fasilitas aksesibilitas angkutan umum dikawasan SARBAGITA sudah cukup baik seperti fasilitas terminal tipe A sampai C. lokasi terminal sudah sesuai dengan tata guna lahan di Kawasan SARBAGITA. Yang perlu ditingkatkan adalah fasilitas halte di sepanjang jalan seperti fisik halte dan rambu rambu yang jelas, agar masyarakat mudah untuk menjangkau dan mau menggunakan angkutan umum. Hal ini sangat dibutuhkan agar meningkatkan kemauan masyarakat untuk menggunakan moda angkutan umum dan angkutan umum mampu menjadi moda andalan dalam mendukung pariwisata di Kawasan SARABGITA.

Abstract

Road conditions without lighting often pose a high risk of traffic accidents, especially in rural areas or on alternative routes. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of using white and yellow headlamps on vehicles in detecting objects under dark road conditions. The methods employed were field experiments and interviews with drivers. The results show that the use of white headlamps, based on SWOT analysis, is positioned in Quadrant I at the coordinates 0.92 and 0.23, while the use of yellow headlamps, based on SWOT analysis, is positioned in Quadrant I at the coordinates 0.47 and 0.08. These findings indicate that the use of white headlamps is still superior to yellow headlamps under nighttime conditions, although the difference is not highly significant on roads without lighting
