Abstract

Today moral issues in the midst digital flows are become an important think. This problem will make a bad impact on student morale. Therefore, Christian education teachers have a role in efforts to overcome students' moral decadence to overcame the danger posed to the student morale. The research conducted is a qualitative method with a literature study that aims to describe the role of Christian education teachers to overcome student’s moral dekadency in the digital era. For this reason, first, teachers must know about the base of moral decadence and digital challenges, so that they can provide solutions to their students. The second things, the teacher conveys moral values ​​from the point of view of the Bible as the foundation of norms of life that has taught and applied it in their daily life. The third thing is that Christian religious teachers must become a role models, especially in the cyberspace or digital, so that the students can see and imitate the attitudes of teachers in real and virtual communities.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning (PBL) terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa pada materi Statistika kelas VIII. Metode yang digunakan adalah Quasi Experiment dengan desain pretest-posttest control group design. Sampel penelitian terdiri atas dua kelas, yaitu kelas eksperimen berjumlah 31 siswa yang diberi perlakuan dengan model PBL dan kelas kontrol berjumlah 28 siswa yang diajar dengan model konvensional. Instrumen penelitian berupa tes pemecahan masalah matematis berbentuk uraian yang telah diuji validitas dan reliabilitasnya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai N-Gain pada kelas eksperimen sebesar 0,73 (kategori tinggi), sedangkan pada kelas kontrol sebesar 0,32 (kategori sedang). Rata-rata nilai posttest siswa kelas eksperimen juga lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan kelas kontrol. Uji hipotesis menggunakan uji-t menghasilkan nilai thitung = 13,858 > ttabel = 2,8 dengan sig. = 0,000 < 0,05, yang berarti terdapat pengaruh signifikan model PBL terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa. Dengan demikian, penerapan PBL dapat dijadikan alternatif yang efektif dalam pembelajaran matematika untuk meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat sejauh mana pengaruh media sosial dan platform kolaboratif Dalam Meningkatkan Motivasi Belajar Siswa Pada Pembelajaran Agama Kristen Kelas XI SMA Negeri 2 Percut Sei Tuan dengan jumlah 30 orang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif, sedangkan analisis data yang dilakukan penelitian hipotesis adalah korelasi product moment person dengan alat pengumpulan data adalah angket. Dari hasil pengujian diperoleh korelasi (r) 0,64 dengan uji determinasi sebesar 40,96% dan untuk mengetahui signifikan tidaknya koefisien korelasi pada taraf nyata (α) = 0,05 maka diadakan uji “t” dengan kriteria pengujian jika t_hitung yang didapat dari perhitungan lebih besar (>) dari t_tabel pada taraf signifikan 1-0.05 dengan dk= n – 2 maka hipotesis diterima dan dalam hal lain ditolak. Dari hasil pengujian diperoleh t_hitung > t_tabel (4,22 > 1,71), maka hipotesis diterima. Dengan demikian dapat ditemukan keterkaitan yang berarti antara pengaruh media sosial dan Platform kolaboratif dalam meningkatkan agama Kristen kelas VIII di SMP Swasta Marisi Medan

Abstract

In today’s competitive job market, the ability to compose a professional English application letter is essential for university graduates, especially in non-native English-speaking contexts. This study explores the implementation and outcomes of a socialization program designed to enhance the English correspondence skills of sixth-semester Management students at Sekolah Tinggi Ilmu Ekonomi (STIE) Sultan Agung, Pematangsiantar, Indonesia. A total of 75–80 students were divided into three groups (Group A, Group B, and Group C) and participated in a series of interactive workshops focused on the structure, language, and personalization of English application letters. Using a qualitative descriptive approach, data were collected through observations, document analysis of student letters, reflection essays, and post-program questionnaires. The results revealed significant improvements in students’ understanding of letter format, grammar usage, and the ability to tailor content to specific job advertisements. Peer review and collaborative learning played a crucial role in increasing student engagement and confidence in using English professionally. The discussion highlights the importance of genre-based instruction and social learning in developing employability-oriented communication skills. The findings emphasize the need for higher education institutions to embed practical, job-focused English training into their curriculum to better prepare students for real-world career demands. This study concludes that structured socialization programs can effectively equip students with the skills and confidence needed to construct impactful application letters, thereby enhancing their readiness for the job market. With the right support, students can take ownership of their career development, starting with how they present themselves on paper.

Abstract

Character formation in children is an essential component of church ministry through Sunday School activities as a means of nurturing faith, morality, and behavior from an early age. This community service program aims to describe and analyze the effectiveness of Bible storytelling in shaping the character of Sunday School children at HKBP Tapian Nauli Ressort Lumban Lobu District IV Toba. The program employed a descriptive qualitative approach with a participatory method through the implementation of creative and interactive Bible storytelling activities. Data were collected through observation, documentation, and activity reflection during three learning sessions. The results indicate that Bible storytelling improved children’s understanding of biblical moral messages while fostering positive character traits such as obedience, courage, love, cooperation, and respect for parents. In addition, the use of visual media, teaching aids, and educational games significantly increased children’s learning interest and active participation throughout the activities. These findings affirm that participatory, contextual, and creative Bible storytelling serves as an effective pedagogical strategy in supporting Christian value-based character formation among children. Therefore, this method can be utilized as an alternative Sunday School instructional model to promote children’s moral and spiritual development sustainably.
