Abstract

The Volleyball is a team game played by six people, to drop the ball into the opponent's area starting with a serve. The basic technique that must be mastered in playing volleyball is the smash, which requires good mastery and precision, and can be developed through drill-spike training. Identify the existing problem that Ngudi Waluyo University Volleyball Student Activity Unit athletes in Smashing are still in the deficient category, which is supported by facts on the field. The research used a cross-sectional design. The type of study applied was the effect of drill-spike training on smash accuracy results in athletes from the Volleyball Student Activity Unit at Ngudi Waluyo University. The information obtained by researchers is in the form of Pre-test, Treatment, and Post-test. The instruments used in this study include, for drill-spike using a target tool, cone. Measurements were carried out 10 times drill-spike from each athlete in 12 meetings, then the data obtained were recorded by the researcher according to the data obtained. For the accuracy of the smash, data collection was carried out by smashing 5 times for each athlete with a predetermined target. The results of the research showed that the smash accuracy of athletes from the Volleyball Student Activity Unit at Ngudi Waluyo University in the initial test (pre-test) had an average accuracy result of 6.9500. After being given treatment in the form of Drill-spike training (post-test), there was an increase in smash accuracy results with an average of 18.1500, and there was an increase in smash accuracy of 161.1%. This conclusion is based on the results of the T–Test which shows the Sig value. (2-tailed) of .000 < 0.05 which means there is an influence. This indicates that H0 is rejected, and H1 is accepted at the 95% confidence level.   Abstrak Bola Voli merupakan jenis permainan tim yang dimainkan oleh enam orang, dengan tujuan menjatuhkan bola ke area lawan yang dimulai melalui pukulan servis. Teknik dasar yang harus dikuasai dalam permainan bola voli adalah smash, yang memerlukan penguasaan serta ketepatan yang baik, yang dapat dikembangkan melalui latihan drill–spike. Identifikasi masalah yang ada bahwa Atlet Unit Kegiatan Mahasiswa Bola Voli Universitas Ngudi Waluyo dalam melakukan smash masih dalam kategori kurang, yang didukung dengan fakta di lapangan. Penelitian menggunakan desain crosssectional, Jenis studi yang diterapkan yaitu pengaruh latihan drill-spike terhadap hasil ketepatan smash pada atlet Unit Kegiatan Mahasiswa Bola Voli Universitas Ngudi Waluyo. Pengumpulan informasi yang diperoleh peneliti berupa pre–test, treatment, dan post–test. instrumen dalam penelitian ini menggunakan dalam penelitian ini antara lain, untuk drill-spike menggunakan alat target sasaran, cone. Pengukuran dilakukan sebanyak 10 kali drill–spike dari setiap atlet dalam 12 kali pertemuan, kemudian data yang diperoleh dicatat oleh peneliti sesuai dengan data yang diperolehnya. Untuk ketepatan smash pengambilan data dilakukan dengan melakukan smash sebanyak 5 kali setiap atlet dengan target sasaran yang sudah di tentukan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ketepatan smash pada atlet Unit Kegiatan Mahasiswa Bola Voli Universitas Ngudi Waluyo tes awal (pre–test) memiliki hasil ketepatan dengan rata–rata 6.9500. Setelah diberikan treatmen berupa latihan drill–spike (post–test) terdapat peningkatan hasil ketepatan smash dengan rata–rata 18.1500, dan terjadi peningkatan ketepatan smash sebesar 161.1%. Kesimpulan ini didasarkan pada hasil Uji T–Test yang menunjukkan nilai Sig. (2-tailed) sebesar .000 < 0.05 yang berarti terdapat pengaruh. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa H0 ditolak, dan H1 diterima pada tingkat kepercayaan 95%.

Abstract

Permainan tradisional dikenal memiliki beberapa keunggulan dibanding permainan modern pada masa kini. Permainan tradisional dapat memperkenalkan, melestarikan, sekaligus meningkatkan kecintaan terhadap warisan budaya bangsa dan nilai-nilai luhur yang terkandung di dalamnya.(Pratiwi & Kristanto, 2015:20) Salah satunya adalah permainan engklek, yang kini mulai jarang diminati oleh anak-anak di berbagai daerah. Padahal, permainan ini tidak hanya memberikan hiburan, tetapi juga berfungsi sebagai media pembelajaran yang mampu menstimulasi perkembangan fisik, motorik, serta sosial anak. Melalui aktivitas melompat pada kotak-kotak tertentu dengan satu kaki, anak dilatih mengembangkan keseimbangan, kelincahan, koordinasi, dan konsentrasi. Menurut Hulfian et al., (2025:55) Permainan olahraga tradisional Engklek merupakan salah satu bentuk aktivitas fisik berbasis lompatan yang dilakukan pada bidang datar yang telah diberi pola tertentu. Pola tersebut biasanya dibua   t dalam bentuk susunan kotak-kotak di atas permukaan tanah, yang kemudian menjadi lintasan bagi pemain untuk dilalui dengan cara melompat menggunakan satu kaki dari satu kotak ke kotak lainnya secara berurutan. Kegiatan fisik yang dilakukan dalam olahraga tradisional Engklek pada dasarnya menuntut kemampuan tubuh untuk menjaga stabilitas sekaligus melakukan perpindahan gerak secara cepat dan terarah. Anak harus mampu mempertahankan posisi tubuh ketika bertumpu pada satu kaki, sehingga otot-otot postural dan sistem keseimbangan bekerja lebih optimal. Selain itu, aktivitas berpindah dari satu kotak ke kotak berikutnya dengan ritme tertentu memberikan rangsangan yang baik bagi peningkatan kelincahan dan koordinasi gerak. Tantangan dalam permainan ini membuat anak berlatih menyesuaikan tempo lompatan, mempertahankan pusat gravitasi, serta mengendalikan tubuh agar tetap stabil. Oleh karena itu, Engklek dapat dikategorikan sebagai permainan tradisional yang memiliki kontribusi kuat terhadap perkembangan kemampuan motorik dasar, khususnya keseimbangan dinamis dan kelincahan gerak. Selain memberikan manfaat secara fisik, permainan Engklek juga mendukung perkembangan aspek sosial dan emosional anak. Proses bermain yang dilakukan dalam kelompok memungkinkan anak berinteraksi, berkomunikasi, dan belajar memahami aturan bersama. Kegiatan seperti menunggu giliran, menghargai permainan teman, serta menerima hasil permainan baik kemenangan maupun kekalahan merupakan bagian penting dari pembelajaran sosial. Di sisi lain, suasana kompetitif yang tetap bersifat menyenangkan dapat meningkatkan rasa percaya diri dan motivasi anak untuk menunjukkan kemampuan terbaiknya. Interaksi yang terbentuk selama permainan turut memperkuat hubungan sosial antar teman sebaya dan menciptakan lingkungan bermain yang lebih sehat dan positif. Dengan demikian, Engklek tidak hanya berfungsi sebagai sarana olahraga tradisional, tetapi juga sebagai media pembentukan karakter dan kemampuan sosial anak.

Abstract

This study examines the development of entrepreneurial management in utilizing tourism potential as a strategy to enhance community economic empowerment, with empirical evidence from Mallenreng Beach, Panaikang Village, Sinjai Regency, Indonesia. Despite possessing significant coastal tourism potential, Mallenreng Beach has faced persistent challenges related to weak management practices, limited human resource capacity, inadequate tourism infrastructure, low marketing capability, and the absence of business legality among local micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs). This research adopts a community-based empowerment approach implemented through the Program for Strengthening Student Organization Capacity (PPK ORMAWA) initiated by the Scientific Writing Student Activity Unit of Universitas Muhammadiyah Sinjai. The program employed participatory methods, including needs assessment, training, mentoring, and monitoring, focusing on tourism management, MSME business legality (Business Identification Number and Halal Certification), product branding and packaging, digital marketing, and village website management. The findings demonstrate a significant improvement in managerial capacity among tourism managers, increased formalization of MSMEs through legal certification, enhanced product attractiveness and marketing reach, and improved digital promotion of village tourism potential. These outcomes contributed to increased community participation, strengthened local economic activities, and improved institutional collaboration between stakeholders. This study contributes to the literature on entrepreneurial tourism management by providing practical evidence that integrated capacity-building interventions can effectively transform local tourism resources into sustainable drivers of community economic empowerment in rural coastal areas

Abstract

Ankle injuries are a common problem among volleyball athletes, especially adolescents, due to the movement characteristics involving jumping, landing, and rapid changes of direction. Limited knowledge and skills in injury prevention at the club level increase the risk of recurrent injuries and may affect the sustainability of athletic performance. This community service activity aimed to improve the knowledge and skills of young athletes in the prevention and early management of ankle injuries through basic kinesiotaping training. A descriptive quantitative approach with a one-group pre-test and post-test design was applied in a single training session conducted on November 28, 2025, at Ivokas Volleyball Club, Semarang Regency, involving 12 young athletes. The training consisted of theoretical sessions, hands-on practice, and evaluation. The results showed an increase in the average knowledge score from 42.6 to 85.4, along with improved participant ability to apply basic kinesiotaping techniques, particularly lymphatic drainage and mechanical correction techniques for the ankle. In addition, participants reported very positive responses to the training implementation. It can be concluded that basic kinesiotaping training is effective in enhancing the knowledge and practical skills of young athletes in ankle injury prevention, and has the potential to support athlete safety and sustainable performance at the club level.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of village head leadership in enhancing community participation for village development in Talle Village, South Sinjai District. The methodology employed is a qualitative approach with data collection techniques through interviews, observations, and documentation. The findings indicate that effective village head leadership can encourage active community participation in all stages of development, from planning to implementation. The research reveals that participatory decision-making and good communication between the village head and the community are crucial for enhancing citizen engagement. However, the main challenge faced is the low attendance rate of the community in planning forums, which results in a lack of input and aspirations from the community in development planning. The conclusion of this study emphasizes the need for efforts to raise awareness and motivation among the community to become more actively involved. More sustainable and innovative strategies are required to create a conducive environment for community participation in village development.
