Abstract

Kajian ini dilatar belakangi oleh pentingnya keterkaitan antara budaya lokal dan penafsiran Al-Qur’an, khususnya dalam konteks budaya Sunda. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengkaji bagaimana nilai-nilai budaya Sunda diadaptasi dalam tafsir Al-Qur’an serta bagaimana tafsir tersebut berkontribusi dalam pelestarian budaya lokal. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi pustaka untuk menganalisis hubungan antara tafsir dan budaya Sunda melalui perspektif antropologi budaya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tafsir Ahmad Sanusi tidak hanya menjadi sarana dakwah Islam, tetapi juga berperan dalam melestarikan budaya Sunda. Hal ini tercermin dalam penggunaan bahasa Sunda, sistem undak-usuk basa, serta nilai sosial seperti silih asah, silih asih, dan silih asuh. Selain itu, Ahmad Sanusi mengakomodasi unsur budaya lokal, seperti tawasul dan pagelaran wayang golek, sebagai media dakwah yang relevan dengan masyarakat Sunda. Dengan demikian, tafsir Al-Qur’an tidak hanya berfungsi sebagai penjelasan terhadap teks suci, tetapi juga sebagai bagian dari warisan budaya yang mencerminkan identitas lokal serta membuktikan bahwa ajaran Islam dapat berharmoni dengan kearifan lokal tanpa menghilangkan nilai-nilai universalnya.

Abstract

Monotheism is a central tenet of Islamic theology, with various scholars offering distinct interpretations of its dimensions. This study explores the concept of Rubūbiyyah (Divine Lordship) as presented in Al-Kashshāf, the seminal Qur'anic exegesis by Al-Zamakhshari. It aims to analyze how Al-Zamakhshari’s rationalist approach shapes his theological interpretation of Rubūbiyyah and to what extent it aligns with or diverges from classical Islamic theological thought. Employing a qualitative library research method, this study utilizes descriptive and content analysis to examine relevant exegetical passages. The findings indicate that while Al-Kashshāf offers a rationalist reading rooted in Mu'tazilite principles and external philosophical influences, it does not fully capture the broader metaphysical and spiritual dimensions of Islamic monotheism. Nevertheless, Al-Zamakhshari consistently grounds his interpretations in Qur'anic text, reflecting a commitment to scriptural authority. This study contributes to the discourse on Qur'anic interpretation by highlighting the interplay between rationalism and theology, and by offering critical insights into the theological methodology embedded in Al-Zamakhshari’s exegesis.

Abstract

Abstract   : The global ecological crisis has become a real threat due to the unsustainable exploitation of natural resources. This study aims to explore the contribution of Islamic theology in shaping ecological awareness through the concepts of khalifah (stewardship), mīzān (balance), and maṣlaḥah (public interest). The method used is a literature study with a qualitative approach to Qur’anic verses and scientific interpretations. Based on the results, Islam is a religion of Rahmatan lil ‘Alamin (mercy to all creation) which teaches balance and forbids all forms of environmental destruction. These teachings are highly relevant in addressing the challenges of today's ecological crisis. Therefore, a theological approach based on Islamic values can be an important alternative in efforts to overcome environmental damage caused by anthropocentric paradigms and modern exploitation. Keywords : Ecology; Islamic Ecoteology; Khalifah; Maṣlaḥah; Mīzān. Abstrak   : Krisis ekologi global telah menjadi ancaman nyata akibat eksploitasi sumber daya alam yang tidak berkelanjutan. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengkaji kontribusi teologi Islam dalam membentuk kesadaran ekologis melalui pendekatan konsep khalifah, mizan, dan maṣlaḥah. Metodologi yang digunakan adalah kajian pustaka dengan pendekatan kualitatif terhadap ayat-ayat Al-Qur'an dan tafsir-tafsir ilmiah. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, Islam adalah agama yang Rahmatan lil 'alamin. mengajarkan keseimbangan dan larangan terhadap segala bentuk kerusakan lingkungan. Ajaran ini sangat relevan dalam menanggapi tantangan krisis ekologi masa kini. Oleh karena itu, pendekatan teologis berbasis nilai Islam dapat menjadi alternatif penting dalam upaya mengatasi kerusakan lingkungan yang disebabkan oleh paradigma antroposentris dan eksploitasi modern. Abstract

Zakat is one of the pillars of Islam and is obligatory for all able-bodied Muslims. The level of compliance among Muslims in paying zakat remains a challenge, especially within the Muhammadiyah community itself. This study aims to determine whether religiosity and literacy influence the compliance of the Muhammadiyah community in paying zakat to the Muhammadiyah Zakat, Infaq, and Shodaqoh Institution (Lazismu) in Sidoarjo. The quantitative research method was used in this study, using the Muhammadiyah community in the Sidoarjo region as the research population. The sample was selected based on the criteria of respondents already employed. The research instrument was a questionnaire to measure the influence of religiosity and literacy on zakat compliance. Data processing used multiple linear regression analysis with the help of SPSS software. This study found that religiosity and literacy have a positive and significant influence on the compliance of the Muhammadiyah community in paying zakat at Lazismu Sidoarjo. The higher a person's religiosity, the higher their compliance in paying zakat. Similarly, with literacy, individuals with a good understanding of the concepts, laws, and procedures for paying zakat (especially in this digital age) tend to be more compliant in paying zakat, as it can be done anywhere and anytime through various platforms provided by zakat institutions. In this study, religiosity and literacy also had a simultaneous influence, contributing significantly to zakat compliance, with a coefficient of determination (R2) of 57.3%.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh kualitas layanan dan nilai-nilai syariah terhadap kepuasan nasabah Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI) KCP Ahmad Yani Sidoarjo. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan eksplanatori, penelitian ini menguji hubungan kausal antara variabel independen (kualitas layanan dan nilai-nilai syariah) dan variabel dependen (kepuasan nasabah). Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner yang dibagikan kepada 100 nasabah BSI dengan metode pengambilan sampel probabilitas. Hasil penelitian diharapkan dapat memberikan wawasan tentang seberapa besar pengaruh kualitas layanan dan penerapan nilai-nilai syariah terhadap kepuasan nasabah, serta memberikan rekomendasi untuk meningkatkan layanan dan kepatuhan syariah di BSI.

Abstract

Setiap orang kaya (tu''khadzu min aghniya''ihim) yang mempunyai kekayaan lebih besar berhak mengeluarkan zakat, yaitu salah satu bentuk pengabdian maliyah ijtima''iyah (sosial dan materil). zakat adalah pemberian harta tertentu yang karena Allah SWT saja telah memberikan hak milik kepada orang yang berhak menerimanya sesuai dengan hukum syariat Islam.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji bagaimana X1 (Kualitas Pelayanan) dan X2 (Kepercayaan) mempengaruhi Y (Kepuasan Muzakki). Alasan dibalik pemilihan jenis studi ini perangkat lunak SPSS digunakan untuk menganalisis hasil uji validitas dan reliabilitas dalam penelitian ini. Nilai variabel kualitas pelayanan diperoleh melalui analisis hipotesis dengan menggunakan uji t yang juga menghasilkan nilai sig dan nilai t hitung (4,587) t tabel (1,660). (0,000) 0,05. Menurut penelitian hubungan Kualitas Pelayanan Lazismu Sidoarjo dan Kepercayaan dengan Kepuasan Muzakki di Lazismu Sidoarjo, variabel Kualitas Pelayanan Lazismu mempunyai pengaruh langsung dan signifikan terhadap Kepuasan Muzakki di Lazismu Sidoarjo, dan variabel Kepercayaan mempunyai pengaruh langsung dan signifikan terhadap Muzakki Kepuasan di Lazismu Sidoarjo dan Variabel Pengaruh Kepuasan Muzakki di Lazismu Sidoarjo dipengaruhi secara simultan dan besar oleh Kualitas Pelayanan dan Kepercayaan Lazismu.

Abstract

This article investigates the interpretation of Juz 30 in Tafsir Al-Hidayah and Tafsir Al-Furqan by Ahmad Hassan. The two commentaries are comparatively analyzed to produce a clear mapping of the background of the writing of Juz 30 by Ahmad Hassan in two different versions. The research approach used a qualitative method based on literature data, with a focus on content analysis. In the analytical framework, this study adopts Muhammad Abid Al-Jabiri's epistemological trilogy theory to explore and analyze Ahmad Hassan's thoughts in the interpretation of Juz 30. The results show that there are various factors that motivate the writing of these two versions of tafsir, which are influenced by internal pressures from the PERSIS organization and social conditions during that period. Both Ahmad Hassan's interpretations use the ijmali method, but with different approaches; Al-Hidayah emphasizes the adabi ijtima'I style, while Al-Furqan tends to focus on the lughowi style. The sources of interpretation used in both books are closer to history and hadith; therefore, they can be classified as tafsir bil ma'tsur with bayani epistemological reasoning. The study confirms that the variations in the interpretation of Juz 30 by Ahmad Hassan can be explained by the complex interaction between internal organizational factors and the social context at the time of writing.

Abstract

Abstract The phenomenon of Qur'anic exegesis studies continues to evolve according to the needs of the ummah for an authoritative and contextual understanding of the sacred text. One of the main issues is how to formulate an exegetical epistemology capable of connecting classical tradition with modern discourse. This article examines the epistemology of the tafsir Mahāsin al-Ta'wīl by Jamāluddīn al-Qāsimī, a productive scholar who compiled a complete 30-juz tafsir. This research aims to describe the uniqueness of al-Qāsimī's exegetical epistemology, including its sources, methodology, school, characteristics, approach, and validity, using library research and qualitative-descriptive analysis methods. The results show that al-Qāsimī's exegetical epistemology is based on the Qur'an, hadith, the opinions of the Companions, linguistic authority, and previous exegetes, using the bi al-ma'tsūr method accompanied by bi al-ra'y within a taḥlīlī framework. His tafsir exhibits characteristics of fiqh, scientific, theological, socio-cultural, and linguistic aspects, with validity evident in the consistent use of authoritative sources, as seen in QS. al-Baqarah: 223. This research affirms that al-Qāsimī's exegetical epistemology serves as a bridge between classical and modern tafsir traditions and opens opportunities for developing contemporary contextual tafsir methodologies. Abstract

This study is based on the importance of the relationship between local culture and the interpretation of the Qur'an, particularly in the context of Sundanese culture. This research aims to examine how Sundanese cultural values are adapted in the interpretation of the Qur'an and how this interpretation contributes to the preservation of local culture. This study employs a qualitative approach with a literature study method to analyze the relationship between interpretation and Sundanese culture through the perspective of cultural anthropology. The findings indicate that Ahmad Sanusi’s interpretation not only serves as a medium for Islamic preaching but also plays a role in preserving Sundanese culture. These are three strategies: tahmil, tahrim, and taghyir; this is reflected in the use of the Sundanese language, the undak-usuk basa (language hierarchy) system, and social values such as silih asah, silih asih, and silih asuh (mutual sharpening, mutual caring, and mutual nurturing). Additionally, Ahmad Sanusi incorporates local cultural elements, such as tawasul and wayang golek performances, as relevant preaching media for the Sundanese community. Thus, the interpretation of the Qur'an not only serves as an explanation of the sacred text but also as part of a cultural heritage that reflects local identity, proving that Islamic teachings can harmonize with local wisdom without losing their universal values
