Abstract

The Tomb of Sultanah Nahrasiyah in North Aceh stands as a testament to the historical prominence of Aceh. This study aims to examine and analyze the inscriptions engraved on the tombstones of Sultanah Nahrasiyah. The methodology consists of meticulous observation and documentation, followed by an in-depth analysis of the tombstone inscriptions. The initial stage involves a historical review of Sultanah Nahrasiyah's leadership. Subsequently, the study emphasizes the participation of female students in the examination and analysis of the inscriptions within the tomb complex. The Arabic inscriptions are analyzed with reference to the Quran, supported by insights from a historical guide who serves as the tomb's custodian. The findings suggest that understanding the historical significance of Sultanah Nahrasiyah's tomb is instrumental in fostering historical awareness and serves as a foundation for applying historical principles to contemporary contexts. This initiative is expected to deepen academic understanding of Sultanah Nahrasiyah's legacy.

Abstract

Literacy refers to the ability to read, write and see the world and retain information. Libraries strive to support education by providing educational materials, information and reference materials. It was reported that there was a decrease in visits to the library, including at SMP Negeri 2 Peukan Bada in Aceh Besar Regency, Aceh Province. Reusing school libraries requires innovation and concrete steps that are appropriate to the current circumstances and conditions of educational development, especially for students who are likely to be the target of providing education in an interesting way. The aim of this community service is to reopen the SMP Negeri 2 Library during school holidays and holidays to carry out student literacy movements. There are five main types of programs implemented through this service. 1) Demonstration and practice of using Artificial Intelligence/AI applications (artificial intelligence applications) correctly based on scientific standards 2) socialization of artificial intelligence applications (AI/Artificial Intelligence joint learning movements in libraries, 4) short story writing and coloring competitions, 5) donations and book processing. The methods used in delivering the program are lectures, demonstrations and exercises. This activity was attended by 60 students.

Abstract

Building a safety culture in the home or family environment will tend to be more difficult than building a safety culture in the workplace. This community service program aims to provide health and safety education to housewives in Naga Umbang Village, Lhoknga District, Aceh. Through various outreach activities, such as seminars, workshops and practical demonstrations, it is hoped that housewives can increase understanding and awareness of the importance of good health practices and safety measures in everyday life. It is hoped that the results of this program evaluation can provide constructive input for continuous improvement and increasing the welfare of local communities.

Abstract

Improving Language and Literature Research Materials for Indonesian Language Lecturers at FKIP Almuslim University is a collaborative effort carried out by lecturers at the Language and Literature Study Program, FKIP Unsyiah, with their colleagues at FKIP Almuslim. The aim of this community service is to enrich understanding and research skills in the field of Indonesian language and literature among lecturers. Through a series of activities, including workshops, training and interactive discussions, Unsyiah lecturers share experiences, methods and resources to increase the research capacity of Indonesian language lecturers at FKIP Almuslim. It is hoped that this collaboration will make a positive contribution in improving the quality of research and teaching of Indonesian language and literature in the academic environment of FKIP Almuslim University.
