Abstract

Doctor scheduling at the Emergency Installation (IGD) of the Petala Bumi Regional General Hospital, Riau Province, is carried out in three shifts, namely the morning shift, afternoon shift and night shift. Each shift is scheduled for three to four doctors, with a total of 14 doctors. There are quite a lot of doctors in the emergency room at the Petala Bumi Hospital, Riau Province, so it will require at least a fee. This can be optimized by doing a simpler schedule so that the costs incurred can be reduced. The results of the observations concluded that each shift only needed two doctors to practice in the emergency room at the Petala Bumi Hospital. Optimal Scheduling will greatly reduce or minimize the number of Doctor HR in Petala Bumi Hospital, Riau Province. This research is a type of quantitative researcher with an experimental research design of Development Research (development). The graph coloring is done for four days because, in the matrix the graph coloring pattern repeats itself after the fourth day. Scheduling for four days, graph coloring has 10 colors or chromatic numbers assuming three shifts and two doctors in one shift, so optimizing the preparation of the doctor's schedule at the emergency room of the Petala Bumi Hospital can be done with a minimum of 10 doctors. The impact obtained from the results of optimizing the number of existing doctors is the cost or cost at the hospital, one of which is the doctor's salary can be reduced. The workload carried out also remains in accordance with the number of doctors owned and the preparation of the doctor's schedule can be more optimal.

Abstract

Menurut Permenkes Nomor 24 Tahun 2022 tentang rekam medis adalah berkas yang berisi catatan dan dokumen tentang identitas pasien, pemeriksaan, pengobatan, tindakan dan pelayanan lain yang diberikan kepada pasien. Salah satu indikator mutu dalam penyediaan rekam medis adalah waktu tunggu penyediaan rekam medis. Waktu tunggu penyediaan dokumen rekam medis rawat jalan sangat dipengaruhi oleh jumlah kunjungan pasien. Peningkatan jumlah kunjungan pasien akan berdampak pada semakin lamanya waktu tunggu penyediaan dokumen rekam medis rawat jalan. Dari uraian latar belakang permasalahan tersebut, maka peneliti menerapkan metode critical path untuk mengoptimalkan waktu tunggu rekam medis. Teknik critical path dilakukan dengan menyusun jaringan kerja yang diidentifikasikan ke arah aktivitas-aktivitas dan menggunakan simple time estimates pada tiap aktivitas yang menunjukkan jangka waktu pelaksanaan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengoptimalkan waktu penyediaan dokumen rekam medis dengan menentukan jalur kritis dari durasi kegiatan. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain penelitian eksperimental Development Research. Jenis dan cara pengumpulan data yang peneliti lakukan yaitu berupa observasi dan dokumentasi. Waktu penelitian mulai dari 20 April – 20 Juni 2023 di Instlasi pendaftaran rawat jalan dan rekam medis RSUD Arifin Achmad Provinsi Riau. Penelitian ini menghasilkan jalur kritis dan titik kritis dari alur kegiatan penyediaan dokumen rekam medis yaitu dari pendaftaran sampai berkas didistribusikan ke poli yang dituju. Adapun titik kritis yang didapatkan yaitu titik C dan G dari durasi titik kritis kegiatan tersebut bisa dikatakan aktifitas tersebut mempunyai waktu senggang untuk dikerjakan dan bisa dikerjakan bersamaan dengan aktifitas lainnya, sehingga waktu tunggu penyediaan dokumen rekam medis lebih optimal.

Abstract

Health financing still relies heavily on private money, causing most of the population to be less protected. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between patient comfort and BPJS health economy in the inpatient room of Arifin Achmad Hospital, Riau Province. This study was conducted using quantitative method with Cross Sectional research design. The sample in this study were patients or families of inpatients participating in the Health BPJS who did not upgrade the class of inpatient room nurses at Arifin Achmad Hospital in 2022. Sampling in this study used Non-Probability Sampling technique. The dimensions of service quality evaluated include Tangible, Reability, Responsiveness, Assurance, and Emphaty. The results show that income and education have a significant relationship with most dimensions of service quality, including Tangible, Reability, Assurance, and Emphaty. However, the number of family members is not significantly related by Responsiveness and Assurance variables. To determine the relationship of inpatient room patient comfort to health economics. The subjects in this study were BPJS Health patients in the inpatient room. The object of this study, the relationship of patient comfort to service quality which includes Tangibles (tangible form), Reability (reliability), Responsiveness (readiness), Assurance (guarantee), and Emphaty (empathy) to the Health Economy. In this study, the results of the assessment of respondents regarding each indicator on the health economy and service quality variables were obtained.

Abstract

Technological advancement provides the biggest impact on the administration and information delivery system in hospitals. The adoption of a Paperless policy by hospitals demands that all activities involving information delivery to be done digitally. The availability of relevant media such as smartphones serve to support the adoption of such a policy. Patients who required the services of the Radiology Facility used to be given printed rontgen images to assist their doctors in their diagnosis, but with the emergence of digitalization, the patients are now provided with digital images that are distributed via WhatsApp. Such a method can also be applied to Radiograph interpretation, where information can be delivered remotely through the usage of PACs and/or WhatsApp. The interpretation standard for radiographs utilizes the DICOM Viewer, which means that recent social media developments offer an increased ease of access to the interpretation process by way of WhatsApp. The image that is sent via WhatsApp typically gets compressed, which consequently causes a loss of information in the image. This study aims to compare doctor’s opinions and image quality viewed between WhatsApp and DICOM viewer. This study is a quanitative comparative study through documentation, observation, and data collecting questionnaire. The study found that the image that was sent using WhatsApp suffered a decrease in size and pixel quantity. Therefore, the anatomical information provided by the two radiographs were different.

Abstract

Medical Check-Up (MCU) service facilities must of course be available in a hospital. As for providing the best MCU service, the Hospital must provide the best time service for those who are queuing to get the MCU results. The purpose of this study was to determine the queuing system, standardization of service time, and patient perceptions of MCU service time at the Hospital. The system Matic sampling method is used in selecting the sampling in the research conducted. The number of samples observed was 21 people consisting of MCU examination patients. The data were obtained through the process of observation and literature study, then distributing questionnaires and collecting documentation. Test data used includes data processing and data analysis. The queuing system used by the MCU service is a single-channel-multiphase system that is effectively implemented. This system is a queuing system that applies the principle of first come first serve (FCFS). The first come first serve (FCFS) queue discipline increasingly provides a sense of fairness for every visitor who queues to get MCU results. The standardization of MCU service time was declared in the slow category because the Minimum Service Standardization was 85.24 minutes, which was 25.2 minutes different from the medium SPM category, which was 60 minutes. Based on the 17-point statements of patient perceptions of the Hospital's MCU queue system with the Strongly Agree and Agree categories. The percentage of the patient's agreement value on each statement is above 50%. This shows that the patient's perception of the MCU queue service at the Hospital is good, but does not really have additional value because it is still quite common in Hospitals.

Abstract

The medicine management system is part of the provision of health services in hospitals. The lack of smooth medicine management will have a negative impact on hospitals, both medically, socially and economically. Medicine management at the Madani Regional Hospital in Pekanbaru City, the level of medicine availability has not been in accordance with needs. This study aims to determine the medicine management system in outpatient pharmaceutical installations of Madani Regional Hospital in Pekanbaru City. This type of research is qualitative with a descriptive analytical approach. The study was conducted on March 27 - August 10, 2023 at the Madani Regional Hospital in Pekanbaru City. There were 6 research informants and the research used the Content Analysis model.The results of the study are types of medicine based on proposals, income, and utilization, planning constraints regarding changes in disease patterns, demand, medicine vacancies, medicine planning from disease epidemiology, lack of e- catalog such as airing and others, e-catalog takes precedence according to the rules, there is no special training, medicine availability is not appropriate, warehouse space is less spacious, temperature and layout are not appropriate, lack of trolleys, which affects storage, namely space, temperature and safety, medicine distribution constraints such as systems, stock constraints, communication and accuracy.Is recommended that there is medicine planning from the number of medicine use, patient visits and disease epidemiology, systematic planning according to Standard Operating Procedures so that medicine needs are fulfilled, training is held, especially the use of e-catalog so that officers understand, expanded warehouse space and added air conditioning so that not many medicine are damaged, there is a secure code on the pharmacy door to maintain room security, there are officers on duty to distribute medicine so that there are no delays, There is a medicine distribution flow on display, medicine are stored in cabinets, shelves and special rooms.

Abstract

Scheduling is a common need nowadays. One example is hospitals. Hospitals need a scheduling process to schedule doctors who will be on duty and use a room. This is due to the large number of doctors and the limited number of rooms, so a scheduling system is needed as needed. Problems that occur at Petala Bumi Hospital, the number of doctors on duty in the emergency room is quite large. However, there is confusion from management in managing the schedule of doctors in the emergency room. This research is a development of the Graph coloring method carried out in the preparation of a doctor's schedule at the hospital. This research was conducted to overcome scheduling problems that are often inappropriate and usually need to be corrected repeatedly in hospitals. The methods used to perform scheduling are quite diverse, one of which is the Graph coloring method. This study aims to determine the application of graph coloring in compiling a doctor's schedule. This research is a type of R&D research with a system design design with the application of graph coloring. Graph coloring is done for four days because the graph coloring pattern matrix repeats after the fourth day. During the four-day preparation, graph coloring has 10 colors or chromatic numbers assuming three shifts and two doctors in one shift. Therefore, the optimization of the doctor's schedule preparation at the Emergency Room of Petala Bumi Hospital can be done with at least 10 doctors

Abstract

Ginger is the most commonly used medicinal plant in the world. Its rhizome which contains zingiberol has been shown to reduce inflammation and joint pain. Osteoarthritis is a chronic joint area characterized by abnormalities in the cartilage (cartilage) of the joints and adjacent bones. Based on a preliminary survey conducted at UPT PSTW Khusnul khotimah Pekanbaru, almost 90% of the elderly had osteoarthritis. This community service is carried out in the city of Pekanbaru with the aim of providing knowledge to the public about offering red ginger warm compresses to reduce osteoarthritis pain, providing knowledge to the public regarding the effectiveness of providing red ginger warm compresses to reduce osteoarthritis pain and as input in order to provide motivation to improve management presents a warm compress of red ginger against osteoarthritis pain in the elderly. The results of this activity are expected for the community to make warm compresses of red ginger as an alternative way to reduce osteoarthritis pain.

Abstract

People activities have changed by the emergence of the Covid-19 outbreak which continues to increase. The public's lack of understanding of the Covid-19 Virus and efforts to prevent the spread of Covid-19 is the duty of educators to provide education to the people. In this article, the author describes people activities that have been carried out to increase public understanding about Covid-19. People activities carried out at the Rejosari Health Center, Tenayan Raya District used the method of distributing brochures, lectures, discussions and questions and answers. For the results of this people activity, the people has understood the efforts that can be taken to prevent the spread of Covid-19, one of which is by implementing health protocols. The implementation of this activity is also a form of support for the Pekanbaru mayor's regulation Number 104 of 2020 regarding guidelines for new productive and safe people's living behavior in preventing and controlling the 2019 corona virus disease. This activity can also increase public awareness in maintaining personal hygiene and the environment.

Abstract

Healthcare and Social Security Agency is one of the health programs facilitated by the government. In order to improve the quality and ease of access to health services for all participants, Healthcare and Social Security Agency has offered a service program called the referral program (RP). The amount of public misunderstanding of the program is a challenge for Healthcare and Social Security Agency service officers and the government. Therefore it is necessary to make efforts to provide an understanding to the public about the program. The community service activities have been carried out in RW 1 Kulim Village, Kulim District, Pekanbaru City, in order to assist the government's task to provide understanding to the community. The method of community service activities carried out is by distributing brochures, giving lectures by resource persons, discussions and questions and answers. As for the results of this community activity, the community has understood what a referral program (RP) is and how to get a referral program. The evaluation of this community service activity was also carried out through a discussion forum with the village and sub-district leaders of Kulim. In the evaluation activity, village and sub-district leaders said that this activity provided benefits for the community.
