Abstract

This research aims to look at the entrepreneurship education program for students as well as students' entrepreneurial interests in the entrepreneurship education program process at the Faculty of Economics and Business, Muhammadiyah University of Sidenreng Rappang. This research aims to see how much influence the entrepreneurship education program has on students' entrepreneurial interest.This research is quantitative research with a descriptive approach. The population in this study was 230 students at the Faculty of Economics and Business, Muhammadiyah Sidenrebg Rappang University from the 2020-2023 class using the Proportional Random Sampling technique formula as the sample method. The total number of samples was 23 students. The data collection techniques used in this research are observation, questionnaires, documentation and literature review. The data analysis technique used was validity and reliability testing, using the help of the IBM SPSS statistics 29 application.The results of this research show that from the results of the questionnaire, the recapitulation of the Entrepreneurship Education variable was 85.45%, in the "Strongly Agree" category. The recapitulation of the Entrepreneurial Interest variable was 88.13%, in the "Strongly Agree" category. And the influence of the Entrepreneurship Education Program at the Faculty of Economics and Business, Muhammadiyah Sidenreng Rappang University is categorized as "Influential/Significant". From the Annova test, the calculated F was obtained at 51,527 with a significance level of 0.001, this shows that the independent variable has a significant effect and the probability is far above 0.05, in part, t count (7,178) > t table (2,079), meaning that the Entrepreneurship Education Program has a significant effect. towards Entrepreneurial Interest of Students at the Faculty of Economics and Business, Muhammadiyah University of Sidenreng Rappang by 71%.

Abstract

This research entitled “Correlation Between Self-Concept and Anxiety of Communicative Competence in English as Foreign Language Learner”. Common problem in this research is to find 1) Whether any correlation between Self-Concept and Anxiety toward communicative competence or not?, 2) How high a level of positive self-concept and anxiety does the student have?. The subjects of this study were students of Muhammadiyah Sidenreng Rappang University, Consisting of 21 Students as samples from fourth semester of English department. The approach used in this reaserch is quantitative by using correlation method. Data collection techniques used are questionnaire, interview and vocabullary test.Based on questionnaire and interviews with case subjects concluded that the identification of student problems are as follows: 1) There are correlation between self-concept and anxiety toward communicative competence, 2) Researcher find that student had high anxiety and mildly positive Self-concept.

Abstract

This research uses descriptive qualitative research as a research methodology located at SMP Negeri 3 Pitu Riase. This research was conducted to determine the implementation process of giving rewards and punishments to increase students' learning motivation and to find out the results of the implementation of giving rewards and encouragement to increase students' learning motivation in English subjects. Data collection techniques used are observation, interviews and documentation. While data analysis used data reduction, data presentation and data verification. The data obtained from this study is divided into two, namely data in the form of verbal (words) for example "Good" and nonverbal (actions) for example thumbs up, applause, additional points, advice, reprimand, vocabulary memorization, deductions and pinches. This data was obtained from the treatment and words of the teacher to his students during the learning process. The results of the research from the implementation of reward and punishment to increase students' motivation to learn in English subjects at SMP Negeri 3 Pitu Riase show that: the process of implementing reward and punishment is carried out spontaneously in the classroom and sometimes there is an agreement with students if there are students who violate or Failure to do the work will be punished. Rewards are given in the form of praise, applause, thumbs up and additional points. The punishment is in the form of advice, standing in front of the class and memorizing vocabulary. The results of the implementation of reward and punishment are: (1) The level of student attention to learning increases; (2) The level of student confidence in the ability to do learning tasks; (3) The level of student satisfaction with the learning process that has been carried out; and (4) Determining actions which must be done.

Abstract

Kegiatan Pengenalan Lapangan Persekolahan (PLP) merupakan bagian integral dalam proses pendidikan calon guru, terutama dalam mengembangkan kompetensi profesional mahasiswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi kontribusi PLP terhadap pengembangan profesional mahasiswa melalui studi kasus di SMK Negeri 1, dengan fokus pada kultur dan manajemen sekolah. Melalui pendekatan kualitatif-deskriptif, mahasiswa mengamati, menganalisis, dan menghayati dinamika sekolah sebagai lembaga pendidikan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa PLP memberikan wawasan penting terkait pengelolaan sekolah, hubungan interpersonal, serta budaya belajar yang berpengaruh terhadap kesiapan mahasiswa dalam menghadapi dunia kerja sebagai calon pendidik. Pemahaman yang lebih mendalam tentang kultur dan manajemen sekolah membantu mahasiswa meningkatkan kompetensi manajerial dan pedagogik mereka, sehingga lebih siap untuk berkontribusi dalam dunia pendidikan secara profesional. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan peningkatan pelaksanaan PLP dengan integrasi lebih mendalam antara teori dan praktik di lapangan.

Abstract

Masalah yang ditemukan adalah berkurangnya minat siswa mendaftar di di SMKN 4 Sidrap .Tujuan pelaksanaan kegiatan untuk mengetahui lingkungan fisik dan non fisik SMKN 4 Sidrap; untuk mengetahui sikap dan pola tingkah laku siswa SMKN  ; untuk mengetahui proses pembelajaran SMKN 4 Sidrap; untuk mengetahui kultur SMKN 4Sidrap; untuk mengetahui pelaksanaan kegiatan kokurikuler dan ekstrakurikuler SMKN 4 Sidrap; untuk mengetahui pendidik SMKN 4 Sidrap. Pelaksanaan kegiatan dimulai pada tanggal 24 Agustus 2024 sampai 9 September  di SMKN 4 Sidrap. Masalah yang diangkat dalam kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah melakukan pendataan sekolah tentang keadaan fisik dan non fisik, sikap siswa, proses pembelajarn, kultur sekolah dan kegiatan ekstrakurikuler. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengabdian yaitu observasi, wawancara, diskusi, dan dokumentasi kegiatan. Kegiatan evaluasi dilakukan dengan mengkaji relevansi, efisiensi, efektivitas dan dampak suatu kegiatan dengan tujuan yang ingin dicapai. Monitoring dan evaluasi dimulai dari sosialisasi kegiatan pendampingan, perencanaan, pelaksanaan dan keberlanjutan terhadap perencanaan program. Kesimpulan dalam kegiatan ini memberikan informasi terbaru kepada pihak sekolah sehingga menjadi bahan evaluasi diri untuk peningkatan kavasitas dan sumber daya pada SMKN 4 Sidrap sehingga bisa meningkatkan minat masyarakat untuk menyekolahkan anaknya di sekolah tersebut. Output dari pengabdian ini berupa video profil sekolah yang dapat digunakan sebagai bahan promosi sekolah di media sosial.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of relational marketing on customer loyalty for the "Rumah Adat Bugis" (Bugis Traditional Houses) in Sidenreng Rappang Regency. Relational marketing, which includes key elements such as communication, trust, empathy, and emotional bonding, plays a crucial role in building long-term relationships with customers. By fostering effective communication, trust through consistent service, and understanding customer needs, relational marketing significantly impacts customer loyalty. Loyal customers tend to make repeat purchases, buy in larger quantities, visit more frequently, and recommend the product to others. This research uses a quantitative approach with survey methods, distributing questionnaires to 37 respondents who are customers of the "Rumah Adat Bugis" from 2021 to 2023. Data were analyzed using SPSS software to evaluate the relationship between relational marketing and customer loyalty. The results show that relational marketing positively and significantly influences customer loyalty. This implies that implementing relational marketing strategies effectively strengthens customer retention, increases repeat purchases, and enhances business growth in the traditional housing industry.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh inovasi kewirausahaan terhadap keunggulan usaha Rumah Makan Itik Palekko Sumber Abadi dan mengetahui inovasi kewirausahaan apa diterapkan di Rumah Makan Itik Palekko Sumber Abadi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif, yang bertujuan untuk memahami kondisi konstektual dengan mengarah pada gambaran potret kondisi lingkungan alam secara detail dan mendalam, kaitannya dengan apa yang sebenarnya terjadi di luar berdasarkan apa yang terjadi di wilayah  penelitian. Sumber data pada penelitian ini diperoleh dari wawancara dan kajian literatur, yang menjadi narasumber dalam penelitian ini adalah pemilik rumah makan/owner, karyawan dan orang-orang yang sudah menjadi pelanggan Rumah Makan Itik Palekko Sumber Abadi. Teknik analisis data pada penelitian ini adalah analisis kualitatif yang diambil dari model Miles and Huberman yaitu, reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Dari hasil penelitian Inovasi kewirausahaan berpengaruh terhadap keunggulan usaha kuliner di RM Itik Palekko Sumber Abadi hal ini terbukti dengan adanya perkembangan baik produk, lokasi maupun jumlah pelanggan yang ada di RM Itik Palekko Sumber Abadi dan menerapkan inovasi kewirausahaan dalam usaha kuliner sangat mempengaruhi keunggulan usaha kuliner di RM Itik Palekko Sumber Abadi.

Abstract

This study investigates the effectiveness of using animation movies as a medium to improve learners' speaking skills, focusing particularly on vocabulary and pronunciation. The findings demonstrate a significant improvement in learners' speaking performance, as evidenced by the comparison of pre-test and post-test results. The mean score increased from 51.77 in the pre-test to 83.87 in the post-test, highlighting the substantial impact of the animation movie approach. Statistical analysis using a paired-sample t-test further supports these results, with a p-value of 0.000, indicating significance at the 0.05 level (p < 0.05). This confirms the rejection of the null hypothesis (H0) and acceptance of the alternative hypothesis (H1), validating the effectiveness of the intervention. The use of animation movies proved to be an appropriate and beneficial strategy in the teaching and learning process, as it enhances learners' ability to understand pronunciation and memorize vocabulary. The findings suggest that animation movies can serve as an effective medium for teaching speaking skills, particularly in improving pronunciation and vocabulary acquisition. Consequently, the study concludes that incorporating animation movies into the learning process significantly boosts learners' speaking proficiency.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze English questions at SMA Negeri 4 Sidrap with a focus on difficulty, type of questions, and cognitive level represented in the test. The research method used is content analysis, which involves collecting data in the form of an English question bank for class XI IPA 3 at SMA Negeri 4 Sidrap. The results of the analysis show that English questions at SMA Negeri 4 Sidrap tend to have varying levels of difficulty, with some questions being relatively easy and some questions being quite difficult. The most common type of question is multiple choice. The cognitive levels represented in these questions include basic understanding, application, analysis, and synthesis. Apart from that, this research also identified several aspects that need to be considered in preparing English questions at SMA Negeri 4 Sidrap, such as clarity of instructions, balance between various cognitive levels, and the use of language that is appropriate and easy to understand by students. It is hoped that this research will provide useful insights for English teachers at SMA Negeri 4 Sidrap in preparing questions that are more effective and varied, as well as helping to improve the quality of English teaching and learning at the school.
