Abstract

Transportasi maritim memegang peranan krusial dalam menghubungkan wilayah kepulauan seperti Indonesia. Kompleksitas perencanaan rute kapal penumpang, terutama yang melibatkan banyak Pelabuhan dan jadwal dinamis, memerlukan alat pemodelan yang efektif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memodelkan rute KM. Bukit Siguntang Balikpapan-Tarakan-Nunukan-Balikpapan menggunakan Petri net, mengisi celah penelitian yang belum secara spesifik membahas pemodelan rute kapal penumpang dengan metode ini. Rute dimodelkan menggunakan sejumlah place dan transisi. Place merepresentasikan lokasi geografis atau status perjalanan, sementara transisi merepresentasikan pergerakan atau kejadian yang menyebabkan perubahan lokasi atau status kapal. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa model tergolong terbatas (bounded) yang mengimplikasikan batasan pada keberadaan token dalam sistem. Kontribusi utama penelitian ini adalah penyediaan representasi formal dan terstruktur dari rute kapal penumpang menggunakan Petri net. Hal ini berpotensi meningkatkan visualisasi dan analisis rute serta menjadi landasan pengembangan model yang lebih kompleks untuk optimasi transportasi laut.

Abstract

Dange is a traditional food from Luwu that is commonly consumed by the local community as a complementary dish, often served with kapurung, pacco’, or lawak. Made from sago, dange can serve as a rice substitute, providing a satisfying meal due to the high starch content in sago. Additionally, dange can be a suitable option for a low-glycemic diet, given its low glycemic index, which offers health benefits compared to rice. Despite its benefits, dange is not highly popular in the market. This is influenced by several factors, one of which is the packaging used for dange. Cooked and cooled dange is typically packaged in small, thin plastic bags that are unappealing both in appearance and hygiene. Therefore, this study was conducted to propose an alternative packaging design for dange, with the expectation that improved packaging can enhance its market appeal. Several important aspects need to be considered when designing food packaging, including visual appeal, safety/protective capability, product pricing, environmental friendliness, and ease of use. The dominance of these aspects may vary depending on consumer needs and purchasing power, available capital, the primary purpose of the packaging, and the type of product being packaged. Thus, it is necessary to determine the most critical aspect to focus on in designing packaging that better meets the target requirements. One method that can be used to determine this key aspect is the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP). This method allows for more objective decision-making by utilizing the Expert Choice software to analyze and score the evaluations provided by expert respondents. Subsequently, the key aspect identified through the AHP method will be compared with survei data collected from 100 respondents/consumers of tabaro dange products. The AHP results indicate that the safety and protective capability of packaging are the primary aspects to consider in designing packaging for the Luwu specialty tabaro dange, with an inconsistency value of 0.08. This finding aligns with survei data from consumers, where 69% identified product quality as the main factor influencing their purchasing decisions. Notably, product quality is heavily influenced by the safety and protective properties of its packaging

Abstract

Kemampuan operasi matematika, berpikir divergen dan kecerdasan linguistik memegang peranan penting dalam proses pembelajaran yang mempengaruhi hasil belajar matematika siswa. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menyelidiki Pengaruh Kemampuan Operasi Hitung Matematika, Kemampuan Berpikir Divergen dan Kecerdasan Linguistik Siswa terhadap Hasil Belajar Matematika. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah jenis penelitian expost-facto dengan metode kuantitatif berbasis SEM-PLS, dimana variabel yang diamati adalah pengaruh variabel bebas yaitu kemampuan aritmatika matematis, kemampuan berpikir divergen dan kecerdasan linguistik terhadap variabel terikat yaitu kemampuan matematika siswa. hasil belajar. penelitian ini akan menguji sejauh mana pengaruh variabel independen tersebut terhadap variabel dependen. berdasarkan hasil analisis data, nilai rata-rata setiap hasil tes matematika komputasi, berpikir divergen, kecerdasan linguistik dan pembelajaran matematika siswa berada pada kategori agak rendah, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa operasi matematika berhitung, berpikir divergen dan kecerdasan linguistik secara bersama-sama atau sebagian terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa

Abstract

Education is a universal right, including for children with special characteristics such as deaf students at SLB Negeri 1 Palopo. To support their learning, the use of interactive learning media based on information and communication technology, such as Augmented Reality (AR), is an effective solution. This Community Service aims to implement AR as an interactive and effective sign language learning medium for deaf students. This Community Service involves the introduction of student learning activities in sign language learning and the development of AR-based learning media products. The product is a mobile application that can be accessed using an Android mobile device. The implementation of learning media is carried out through the introduction of application features to teachers and students, as well as direct trials involving parental participation. The use of AR technology in learning media is also considered to provide an interactive and interesting learning experience for students. The implementation of Augmented Reality as an interactive sign language learning media at SLB Negeri 1 Palopo provides positive benefits in the learning of deaf students. This AR learning media can improve students' understanding of sign language in a more interactive and fun way. It also shows the potential of using technology in expanding educational accessibility for students with special needs, such as students who are deaf.

Abstract

Providing education regarding the role of professionalism and ethics in achieving career success, especially for students. Professionalism and ethics play a crucial role in preparing students to enter the world of work successfully. Professionalism is defined as attitudes, behaviors and skills that reflect competence, responsibility, integrity and cooperation in the work environment. Meanwhile, ethics refers to the moral principles that govern behavior and interactions in the workplace. Important aspects of professionalism and ethics at work. First, professionalism involves maintaining integrity by demonstrating honesty, consistency, and respecting the professional code of ethics. Second, responsibility is a key factor in career success, including respecting deadlines, respecting obligations to work, clients, or teams. Third, cooperation is an important skill in achieving career success, including the ability to work in teams, listen, and communicate well. Several ethical aspects at work, respecting privacy and confidentiality, avoiding conflicts of interest, complying with laws and regulations, avoiding discriminatory behavior, and providing high quality services are ethical principles that need attention. By understanding the role of professionalism and ethics in work, students will be able to prepare themselves well to face challenges and achieve their career goals. By adopting good professional and ethical attitudes, they can build a good reputation, earn the trust of others, and expand their professional network.

Abstract

Interactive learning media is one manifestation of the use of information and communication technology in the field of education. One part of the use of information technology is Augmented Reality, where the use of Augmented Reality in education is still lacking. Education is not only for those with normal physical abilities, but all people have the right to receive an education that is general, as well as children with special characteristics, such as deaf students who are at SLB Negeri 1 Palopo. Deaf students are students who have lost the ability to hear which hinders the process of language information through hearing, because of these limitations the teaching and learning process will become an obstacle, so other media are needed to visualize the alphabetic sign language code so that it can be learned easily and interactively. Augmented Reality is the right technology to overcome this. The implementation of Augmented Reality is used for Android mobile devices with the Multimedia Development life Cycle.

Abstract

Pengabdian kepada masyarakat merupakan salah satu bentuk tridarma perguruan tinggi yang bertujuan memberikan kontribusi nyata dalam peningkatan kualitas sumber daya manusia. Program Studi Teknik Komputer, Institut Teknologi dan Sains Muhammadiyah Kolaka Utara melaksanakan kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat secara daring melalui Zoom. Kegiatan ini difokuskan pada teknologi, mengangkat tema Data Science dan Data Preprocessing, relevan dengan mata kuliah Big Data. Pemateri berasal dari Akademi Komunitas Industri Manufaktur Bantaeng dengan keahlian di bidang Artificial Intelligence dan Cloud Computing. Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah meningkatkan pemahaman mahasiswa tentang konsep Data Science dan Data Preprocessing dalam pengelolaan dan analisis data di era teknologi informasi yang pesat. Metode pelaksanaan mencakup edukasi, pelatihan, dan interaksi aktif antara pemateri dan peserta. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman mahasiswa, dengan nilai rata-rata pretest 67,87 meningkat menjadi 81,73 pada posttest. Kegiatan ini tidak hanya memperkaya pengetahuan mahasiswa tetapi juga mempersiapkan mereka untuk menghadapi tantangan di dunia kerja yang semakin kompleks dan berbasis data, serta mendukung perkembangan ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi. Dengan demikian, kegiatan ini memberikan manfaat signifikan dalam meningkatkan kompetensi mahasiswa dan berkontribusi pada kemajuan pendidikan tinggi.

Abstract

One of the activities that humans always do is communication. This communication is carried out by everyone, but there are special ways of communication that are carried out by people with special needs, such as the deaf. The communication uses sign language, where learning the language is quite difficult, especially for students who are deaf. There is a solution that can solve this problem, namely the use of technology. One of the technologies that can be used is Augmented Reality. Augmented Reality is able to combine the physical world and digital elements that can be used to facilitate human activities. Augmented Reality is designed and packaged in the form of a mobile-based application to make it easier to learn sign language. The use of this designed application is specifically aimed at students with special needs. In addition, the use of the application can also be felt by a group of people who are learning sign language. Application testing involves various aspects, such as functional testing, device compatibility testing, performance testing, AR accuracy and compatibility testing, interaction testing, usability testing, and testing in real environments. App testing engages users, either in user testing or through the feedback they provide. The users involved are divided into 2, namely users as experts in AR testing and users as customers or in this case teachers. The test results prove the value with a high percentage. Tests by experts achieve an average value of 93.13% and tests by customers achieve an average value of 93.60%. This average value can be classified as a reference that the application functions properly, according to needs, is safe, responsive, and provides a satisfying experience.

Augmented reality in its development in Indonesia has Lots used as an auxiliary medium classroom teaching for learning to become more interactive between teacher and student. However sadly Still how difficult development augmented reality application, making Not yet how many teachers can develop application based on augmented reality. on the basis problem such, he did activity devotion to public in form training creation of 3D models based on augmented reality followed by representatives from teachers from all over Palopo as many as 15 teachers. Activity training is shared into 3 sessions, ie session First through method lecture, session second guided tutorial methods and sessions final with practice. Result of implementation training This is a capable teacher making augmented reality application for free independent and capable tool display hydrology based on augmented reality that can be used for enrich classroom learning.

Abstract

Cloud computing service security is a crucial aspect in managing data and information technology infrastructure. Amazon Web Services (AWS) provides security features such as AWS Identity and Access Management (IAM) to control access to resources. However, the lack of user understanding in implementing this system increases the risk of data leaks and cyber attacks. This community service activity aims to improve digital security literacy, especially in the use of AWS IAM. The training was held online on February 2, 2025 via Zoom and was attended by 24 participants from a total of 30 registrants. The methods used include theory and direct practice using an AWS Academy account. Evaluation was carried out through pre-tests and post-tests as well as a Google Form survey. The results showed an increase in understanding with an average pre-test score of 60 increasing to 85 in the post-test. In addition, 92% of participants stated that the material presented was relevant, 88% felt the training was practically useful, and 90% were more confident in managing their AWS accounts. These results show that education about AWS security is essential to reduce the risk of misconfiguration and improve the security of cloud-based systems.
