Abstract

Pelajaran matematika merupakan pelajaran yang masih dianggap sulit bagi siswa. Hal ini dapat ditinjau dari hasil belajar matematika siswa yang masih rendah. Rendahnya hasil belajar disebabkan oleh pemilihan metode pembelajaran yang kurang tepat. Salah satu cara untuk menanggulangi permasalahan tersebut adalah menggunakan model pembelajaran yang melibatkan peran siswa secara aktif dalam proses belajar mengajar. Model yang mampu melibatkan peran siswa secara aktif adalah model peembelajaran kooperatif, salah satunya adalah tipe Numbered Head Together (NHT). Model dengan tipe NHT mengutamakan adanya kelompok-kelompok dengan anggota yang memiliki tingkat kemampuan yang berbeda-beda. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada siswa kelas VIIIA SMP Kartika XX-2 Wirabuana Makassar. Faktor utama yang menjadi perhatian untuk diselidiki adalah nilai harian siswa, kemampuan siswa, dan hasil tes siswa. Penerapan model NHT dilaksanakan dalam 2 siklus, di mana setiap siklus memiliki 4 tahap. Tahap tersebut adalah perencanaan, aksi, observasi, dan refleksi. Hasil observasi pada siklus 2 menunjukkan perubahan yang positif pada siswa. Perubahan tersebut dilihat dari segi prestasi, interaksi, sikap, dan kemampuan siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal matematika secara individu sebagai dampak positif  terhadap hasil belajar kelompok. Skor rata-rata hasil belajar matematika meningkat, yaitu 82,14 dan berada pada kategori tinggi dengan persentase ketuntasan sebesar 86,48%.

Abstract

Telah dilakukan penelitian yang berjudul Pengaruh Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe Somatic, Auditory, Visualization,  Intelectual (SAVI) Terhadap Minat untuk Peningkatan Hasil Belajar Matematika. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu melihat pengaruhi model pembelajaran tipe SAVI terhadap minat dan hasil belajar matematika pada siswa/i SMK Negeri 1 Palopo kelas XI Akuntansi 1. Metode penelitian yaitu deskriptif kualitatif. Desain penelitian Yang digunakan yaitu one group Pretest-Postest design. Penelitian ini menggunakan instrumen berupa angket minat belajar siswa, Pretest-Postest, dan lembar observasi keterlaksaan pembelajaran. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebelum diterapkan model pembelajaran tipe SAVI, nilai rata-rata dari minat belajar matematika siswa yaitu 115,32 dan nilai rata-rata hasil belajar matematika yaitu  23,80. setelah penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe SAVI, nilai rata-rata minat belajar matematika siswa menjadi 123,32 dan nilai rata-rata hasil belajar matematika siswa adalah 82,65. Sehingga, dapat disimpulkan bahwa minat dan hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas XI Akuntansi 1 SMK Negeri 1 Palopo mengalami peningkatan setelah diterapkan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Somatic, Auditory, Visualization, Intelectual (SAVI) pada materi peluang dari kategori sangat rendah menjadi kategori tinggi

Abstract

In the field of microbiology, the counting of bacterial colonies is fundamental and mandatory. This is done to estimate the number of bacterial cells in every 1 milliliter or gram of sample. The counting takes a long time and is tedious, so it requires an accurate and fast counting method. The image quality used is very low and contains noise. Therefore, a preprocessing method is needed to reduce the noise. The Perona-Malik filter method is known to be able to remove noise well. However, it is difficult to determine the appropriate gradient threshold parameter ( ) for each different image. To find the appropriate value of , the original Sobel Mask method and Sobel Mask Fractional-Order are used to estimate the value of . The experimental results show the results of noise reduction using PMD with a value of  from the original Sobel Mask and Sobel Mask Fractional-Order. The results of the accuracy of determining the value of k with the Sobel Mask Fractional-Order (α=1.0) show higher results based on the F-Measure values for samples 1, 2, and 3 respectively 97%, 98%, and 90%.

Abstract

Interactive learning media is one manifestation of the use of information and communication technology in the field of education. One part of the use of information technology is Augmented Reality, where the use of Augmented Reality in education is still lacking. Education is not only for those with normal physical abilities, but all people have the right to receive an education that is general, as well as children with special characteristics, such as deaf students who are at SLB Negeri 1 Palopo. Deaf students are students who have lost the ability to hear which hinders the process of language information through hearing, because of these limitations the teaching and learning process will become an obstacle, so other media are needed to visualize the alphabetic sign language code so that it can be learned easily and interactively. Augmented Reality is the right technology to overcome this. The implementation of Augmented Reality is used for Android mobile devices with the Multimedia Development life Cycle.

Abstract

Education is a universal right, including for children with special characteristics such as deaf students at SLB Negeri 1 Palopo. To support their learning, the use of interactive learning media based on information and communication technology, such as Augmented Reality (AR), is an effective solution. This Community Service aims to implement AR as an interactive and effective sign language learning medium for deaf students. This Community Service involves the introduction of student learning activities in sign language learning and the development of AR-based learning media products. The product is a mobile application that can be accessed using an Android mobile device. The implementation of learning media is carried out through the introduction of application features to teachers and students, as well as direct trials involving parental participation. The use of AR technology in learning media is also considered to provide an interactive and interesting learning experience for students. The implementation of Augmented Reality as an interactive sign language learning media at SLB Negeri 1 Palopo provides positive benefits in the learning of deaf students. This AR learning media can improve students' understanding of sign language in a more interactive and fun way. It also shows the potential of using technology in expanding educational accessibility for students with special needs, such as students who are deaf.

Abstract

Providing education regarding the role of professionalism and ethics in achieving career success, especially for students. Professionalism and ethics play a crucial role in preparing students to enter the world of work successfully. Professionalism is defined as attitudes, behaviors and skills that reflect competence, responsibility, integrity and cooperation in the work environment. Meanwhile, ethics refers to the moral principles that govern behavior and interactions in the workplace. Important aspects of professionalism and ethics at work. First, professionalism involves maintaining integrity by demonstrating honesty, consistency, and respecting the professional code of ethics. Second, responsibility is a key factor in career success, including respecting deadlines, respecting obligations to work, clients, or teams. Third, cooperation is an important skill in achieving career success, including the ability to work in teams, listen, and communicate well. Several ethical aspects at work, respecting privacy and confidentiality, avoiding conflicts of interest, complying with laws and regulations, avoiding discriminatory behavior, and providing high quality services are ethical principles that need attention. By understanding the role of professionalism and ethics in work, students will be able to prepare themselves well to face challenges and achieve their career goals. By adopting good professional and ethical attitudes, they can build a good reputation, earn the trust of others, and expand their professional network.

Abstract

Transpolitika sebagai kajian yang mengintegrasikan politik dan komunikasi dalam era digital, menjadi fokus utama dalam kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk memperkuat pemahaman mahasiswa mengenai peran bahasa dalam dinamika politik kontemporer, khususnya dalam menghadapi isu-isu strategis seperti framing, retorika, propaganda, polarisasi, dan hoaks. Melalui penyampaian materi yang sistematis dan diskusi interaktif, kegiatan ini berhasil meningkatkan pemahaman peserta hingga mencapai 95%, sebagaimana tercermin dari hasil evaluasi. Selain itu, kegiatan ini juga berhasil membangkitkan minat mahasiswa untuk mengikuti program serupa di masa mendatang. Dengan demikian, kegiatan ini memberikan kontribusi signifikan dalam membangun literasi kritis mahasiswa dan memperkuat kompetensi bahasa sebagai instrumen utama dalam menghadapi tantangan politik dan sosial di era digital.

Abstract

Fish protein concentrate is one of the methods used in the preparation of fish for human consumption, where protein is the main and most important element. Snakehead fish has a high protein content, specifically albumin protein, which is beneficial for the human body, especially in the wound healing process. The albumin protein concentrate in snakehead fish contains high levels of soluble protein (albumin) with the lowest fat content. Treatment using 0.1 M HCl solvent with heating at temperatures of 50-60°C resulted in an albumin content of 20.80% and a fat content of 1.78%. Albumin is soluble in water, so environmental conditions, particularly temperature, will affect the albumin content in snakehead fish concentrate capsules. In addition, the naturally occurring unsaturated fat content in snakehead fish meat undergoes chemical structural changes under various temperature conditions during storage. Therefore, this research was conducted to analyze the effect of temperature changes during storage on the chemical quality of the snakehead fish concentrate in capsules, including water content, ash content, albumin content, and TBA (thiobarbituric acid) value. The results of the study showed no significant changes in ash content, water content, and albumin content during storage at 28°C, 43°C, or 53°C. However, the TBA value increased, reaching its peak in the second week of storage at 28°C, the third week at 43°C, and the sixth week at 53°C. This indicates that the duration and storage temperature can affect the chemical quality of the snakehead fish concentrate in capsules.

Abstract

Concentrated albumin from snakehead fish can be made into a powder form and then packed in capsules which can be as a food supplement for the human body. Concentrated albumin in capsule is considered more efficient and economical to fulfill the body's need for albumin mainly for people suffering from degenerative disease. Determination of the shelf life of the product in addition to a guarantee the safety food product for consumers can also help producers and distributors to distribute their products. Determination of the shelf life can be a reference to the manufacturer or distributor when a product should be circulated and withdrawn from the market. Methods in determining the shelf life of the snakefish concentrate in capsule is using the Arrhenius equation. Products were stored in three different temperature, The ambient temperature (28 0C) and two extreme temperatures (43 0C and 530C). The parameters were the total microbial, TBA value, albumin, moisture content, ash content and organoleptic includes appereance and texture. Experimental design was a complete randomized design (CRD) with one factor is temperature. Based on the chemical analysis which was TBA as the key parameter, the shelf life of snakehead fish concentrate in capsule was 217 days or 7 months, while from the physical analysis (organoleptic) that appearance as a key parameter, the shelf life of the snakehead fish concentrate in a capsule was 367.6 days or 12.3 months.

Abstract

Penulisan karya ilmiah adalah elemen penting dalam dunia akademik yang berperan dalam penyebaran dan pengembangan ilmu pengetahuan. Namun, pengelolaan referensi secara manual masih sering menjadi tantangan bagi mahasiswa dan penulis pemula karena rawan melakukan kesalahan format sitasi, ketidakkonsistenan, dan memakan waktu. Untuk mengatasi kendala tersebut, kegiatan bimbingan teknis Penggunaan Aplikasi Mendeley dalam Mengelola Rujukan Karya Ilmiah dilaksanakan dengan tujuan untuk membekali peserta dengan keterampilan mengimpor referensi, mengelola pustaka, membuat sitasi otomatis, serta mengintegrasikan Mendeley dengan Microsoft Word. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan pada kemampuan peserta, dengan rata-rata kemampuan meningkat hingga 80% dibandingkan sebelum pelatihan. Peserta berhasil memahami dan menerapkan fitur Mendeley secara efektif untuk meningkatkan efisiensi dan akurasi dalam pengelolaan referensi. Kegiatan ini memberikan kontribusi nyata dalam mendukung literasi akademik mahasiswa dan masyarakat umum serta mendorong terciptanya budaya penulisan karya ilmiah yang berkualitas dan efisien.
