Abstract

This research describes about the influence of the use of Singapore Dollar in Lagoi tourist area toward Bintan domestic economy in 2010-2013. Bintan District is one of the region that established as Free Trade Zone which gives chance to Singapore to invest mainly in tourism sector through PT. Bintan Resort Cakrawala (BRC). This investment is directly impacted with particular matter such as the use of foreign currency, that is Singapore Dollar. This matter gives influence to the enhancement of Bintan domesctic economy. The writer collects data from journals, books, essay, legislations, reports and online media to analyze the influence of Singapore dollar toward Bintan domestic economy. The theoretical framework applied in this research are neoliberalism perspective, the theory of international investment and foreign exchange concept. The research shows that the using of Singapore dollar in Lagoi tourist is considerably influential to Bintan economy domestic enhancement which produced by tax collection that accumulated to Local Own-source Revenue (PAD). The economy enhancement also gives impact to Regional Gross Domestic Product (PDRB) and Bintan district economic growth.   Key words: Tourism, Investment, Political-Economy, Singapore Dollar, Economic growth.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to explain obstacles of the cooperation Riau Province and Singapore in Organic Agriculture especially organic vegetable. The first time, both of countries signed Memorandum of Understanding in October 2001. The core of agreement is that Riau Province will export organic vegetable to Singapore as one country which has big potential vegetable market. Position of Singapore adjacent to Indonesia to provide advantages for Indonesia. Easy transport links made production costs low so that the larger profits earned by both of countries. In 2004-2008 the export of organic vegetables to Singapore Riau smoothly, and then vacuum caused due to a problem. And in 2014 Riau conduct re-export, but only lasted two months, namely in February and March. After that the export vacuum until now. This research applies pluralism perspective which considers that the state is not the only actor who plays a role in international relations, including in international trade transactions. As directives in this research, the author establishes nation-state as the level of analysis in this study. In accordance with the fact that the main object of international relations is the nation-state. And The theory used in this research is the theory of comparative advantage. This research applies research methods and literature (Library Research). The data in this study consisted of primary data and secondary data. Primary data was conducted by interview and observation. Secondary data were obtained from a collection of readings, namely: books, documents, internet and other readings that are related to the issues discussed. Abstract

This research describes the rules of ASEAN to counter the terorism in South Asea Region in 2011-2014. The terorism are the act of threat the public society. South Asea region are one of the increase terorism group. Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore and Filiphina are the state in South Asea region that be place a terorism group act.The research method used was a qualitative with descriptive as a technic of the research. Writer collects data from books, encyclopedia, journal, mass media and websites to analyze the rules of ASEAN to counter the terorism in South Asea Region. The theories applied in this research are international organization suchs as regional organization theory from Clive Archer and concept defenition from terorism.The research shows that the rules of ASEAN to handled the terorism in South Asea Region are create the Asean Regional Forum and ASEAN Convention On Counter Terrorism with in 2011 Asean Regional Forum create a annual Senior Officials Meeting in Transnational Crime, in 2011 state of ASEAN dealed about ASEAN Convention On Counter Terrorism and ASEAN create agreement with United States and European Union to counter on terorism.Key words: rule, ASEAN, counter, terorism.

Abstract

This article will discuss the Indonesian government policy after the exit of the RSPO. RSPO is a non-profit association that unites stakeholders from seven sectors of the palm oil industry - oil palm producers, palm oil processors or traders, consumer goods manufacturers, retailers, banks and investors, NGOs, environmental preservation or conservation, and social NGOs. RSPO with stakeholders aims to develop and implement global standards for sustainable palm oil. But in contrast to the RSPO implementation original destination, RSPO more aligned to consumers than producers of palm oil. Indonesia is the largest palm oil producer in the world, and Indonesia was RSPO can no longer mengakomidir interests of its members. Indonesia itself is officially out of the RSPO was recorded on September 29, 2011, and the government made a policy to establish ISPO in order to realize sustainable palm. ISPO is also expected to bring a positive impact on oil palm plantations Indonesia and Indonesia's CPO production is expected to increase.Keywords: foreign policy, government policy, RSPO, ISPO

Abstract

This research is the study of International Political Economy of Investment Pt. Saipem Indonesia Karimun Study Case Program In Corporate Social Responsibility (Csr) To The Local Communities. Karimun District that has been as created Free Trade Zone (FTZ) and Special Economic Zone (SEZ) created opportunities for Italia to invest in Karimun. Italia investment is poured through PT. Saipem Indonesia that was attended on 2007 in Karimun District. Operation of PT. Saipem Indonesia in Karimun District increased economic growth in Karimun district. This research used qualitative methods and library research. The theoretical framework applied in this research are neoliberalism perspective from David Harvey, the level of the nation-state analysis, the concept of national interest, international investment theory from Kindley Berger and monopolistic advantages theory from Stephen Hymer.The research shows that investment Pt. Saipem Indonesia Karimun Study Case Program In Corporate Social Responsibility (Csr) Against Local Communities provided great contributions and continue to implement corporate social responsibility in the form of sustainable development. With the implementation of the activities of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is divided into three main areas, namely in the areas of environment, economics and social areas with the objective of sustainable development can be felt constantly by local communities.Keywords: PT. Abstract

This research explains Tiongkok’s interests in issuing a veto against the UN Security Council resolution drafts on syria conflict in 2012. The conflict in Syria is one of the impact of the Arab spring. The conflict in Syria is a civil conflict that demands the Syrian president to step down. In the face of the civil conflict, the Syrian government often used military and armed forces that resulted in the loss of life of many civilians. Seeing the Syrian government action taken in the face of this conflict, the UN Security Council drafted resolutions on Syria to help resolve the internal conflicts. This research will discuss about Tiongkok’s interest in syria conflict so that Tiongkok issued a veto on the UN Security Council resolution. This research applied realisme perspective, Diplomacy theory and Nation-State analys. Realism perspective believes that main actor in international relations is a country. This research collected data from books, journals and websites which discusses the existence of Tiongkok interest in Syria Conflict and Tiongkok reasons issued a veto of UN security Council resolution in Syria conflict. Abstract

This research describes the roles of IOV World (International Organization Of Folk Art) in conservation of culture in Indonesia esspecially about art of dance Indonesia in 2012-2015. Indonesia are most big country that have potenciall in culture resources likes tradition, religion, and adat istiadat. One of most culture famous from Indonesia are art of dance. Dance are one part of art that non things so society have to keep this art from globalizations.The research method used was a qualitative with descriptive as a technic of the research. Writer collects data from books, encyclopedia, journal, mass media and websites to analyze the roles of IOV World (International Organization Of Folk Art) in conservation of culture in Indonesia. Abstract

This research describes the policy of Indonesia government in anticipation illegal migration case destinate to Australia in 2012-2015. Australia especially Christmast Island are one of most the dstination route for illegal migration from Afganistan, Pakistan, Suriah, Srilanka and Turkey. When imigrant came to Australia they will transit in Indonesia and this can make the threat for Indonesia security stability.The research method used was a qualitative with descriptive as a technic of the research. Writer collects data from books, encyclopedia, journal, mass media and websites to analyze the policy of Indonesia government in anticipation illegal migration case destinate to Australia. Abstract

This research describes humanitarian law aspects in human crisis toward child in Colombia in 2012-2015. Colombia are state in Latin America region. Since 1964, Government of Colombia have crisis withe the separatism grouo that name a Fuerzas Armadas Revolucionarias de Colombia (Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia or FARC). FARC has recruted a child as sholdier and this action are not agreed with the humanitarian international law.The research method used was a qualitative with descriptive as a technic of the research. Writer collects data from books, encyclopedia, journal, mass media and websites to analyze the humanitarian law aspects in human crisis toward child in Colombia. The theories applied in this research are realism perspective with the humanitarian law concept.The result about humanitarian law aspects in human crisis toward child in Colombia shows that crisis in Colombia are humanitarian crisis and children in Colombia has a recrut to be a child shouldier. humanitarian law aspects in human crisis toward child in Colombia based on source of law in humanitarian law likes Geneva Convention, Denhag Convention and Additional Protocoll. Supremacy of humanitarian laws in Colombias crisis are use transitional justice, diplomacy of getting to the table, roles of ICRC and coordination by National Colombia in toward a humanitarian crisis in Colombia.Key words: humanitarian laws, aspect, crisis and humanity
