Abstract

Remaja putri beresiko tinggi mengalami anemia yang dapat mengakibatkan penurunan konsentrasi, kemampuan belajar, dan kebugaran, serta gangguan pertumbuhan. Hasil analisis situasi menunjukkan kejadian anemia juga dipengaruhi oleh rendahnya kepatuhan konsumsi TTD dan pengetahuan terkait anemia pada remaja putri. Oleh karena itu, perlu dilakukan sosialisasi upaya pencegahan anemia pada remaja putri yang bertujuan meningkatkan kesadaran remaja putri. Rangkaian kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini berlangsung sejak bulan Januari 2022 yang diawali dengan analisis situasi berkaitan dengan masalah kesehatan pada remaja putri yang kemudian diakhiri dengan kegiatan sosialisasi upaya pencegahan anemia pada remaja putri. Sosialisasi ini dilakukan secara daring yang dikemas dalam kegiatan webinar pada tanggal 07 April 2022. Kegiatan sosialisasi berlangsung dengan baik dan peserta sangat antusias mengikuti kegiatan dari awal hingga sesi diskusi dan tanyajawab. Diharapkan dengan adanya kegiatan ini dapat meningkatkan kesadaran remaja putri mengenai pentingnya pencegahan anemia.

Abstract

Background: households are one of the biggest contributors to food waste in DKI Jakarta. This is caused by household food loss and waste (FLW) behavior and the impact of this behavior is economic loss and nutritional loss in vain. Objective: To analyze the correlation between FLW behavior and household economic and nutrition loss during the Covid-19 pandemic in West Jakarta. Methods: This study is a quantitative study with a cross-sectional design involving 100 households in the Kebon Jeruk area, West Jakarta. The analysis in this study uses the Spearman Rank correlation. Data were collected by interview technique using FLW behavior questionnaire and food waste questionnaire form filled out by respondents for 4x24 hours. The value of this economic loss will be analyzed using the market price listed on Hargapangan.id and the value of nutrition loss will be analyzed using nutrisurvey2007. The results: there is a relationship between FLW behavior on economic loss (p = 0.02; p <0.05) but there is no relationship between FLW behavior on nutrition loss, namely energy loss (p = 0.15; p> 0.05), protein loss (p=0,20;p>0,05), fat loss (p=0,33;p>0,05) and carbohydrate loss (p=0,12;p>0,05). Households are expected to change their FLW behavior in order to minimize economic losses and optimally utilize nutrition.

Abstract

The current study is aimed at examining the relationship between exposure to fast food promotion, consumption of obesogenic food, and body mass index in early adulthood. This cross-sectional study involved 76 respondents aged 26–35 years. Those with personal mobile phones and social media accounts are included in this study. Exposure to fast food promotion (FFP) was assessed by structured questionnaires, while obesogenic food consumption (OBC) was determined by a semi-quantitative food frequency questionnaire. Body mass index (BMI) was drawn from weight and height measurements. A Spearman analysis was performed to find the correlation. This study found that neither the total score in FFP nor the total grams in OBC were associated with BMI. Interestingly, upon item analysis, one item in OBC (highly salted food) was significantly associated with BMI (r = 0.230, p-value = 0.046). Nutrition and health education specific to the reduction of salty foods should be promoted among young adults to prevent obesity. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan antara paparan promosi makanan cepat saji, konsumsi makanan obesogenik, dan indeks massa tubuh pada masa dewasa awal. Studi menggunakan rancangan potong lintang yang melibatkan 76 responden berusia 26-35 tahun yang dipilih secara purposive. Mereka yang memiliki ponsel pribadi dan media sosial termasuk dalam penelitian ini. Paparan promosi makanan cepat saji dinilai dengan kuesioner terstruktur yang terdiri dari tujuh item (nomor) pertanyaan tervalidasi sedangkan konsumsi makanan obesogenik ditentukan oleh Semi Quantitative Food Frequency Questionnaire (SQ-FFQ). Indeks massa tubuh (IMT) diambil dari pengukuran berat badan dan tinggi badan. Analisis korelasi Spearman dilakukan untuk menemukan hubungan. Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa baik skor total dalam paparan promosi makanan cepat saji maupun total konsumsi makanan obesogenik tidak terkait dengan IMT. Menariknya, setelah analisis item, satu item dalam perilaku konsumsi makanan obesogenik (konsumsi kudapan asin) secara signifikan dikaitkan dengan IMT (r= 0,230, p-value = 0,046). Pendidikan gizi dan kesehatan terkait pembatasan konsumsi kudapan asin harus dipromosikan di kalangan orang dewasa awal untuk mencegah obesitas.

Abstract

Masa remaja adalah masa pertumbuhan dan perkembangan, baik secara mental, fisik dan aktivitas sehingga, kebutuhan makanan yang memiliki kandungan zat-zatgizi menjadi cukup besar. Amemia zat besi pada anak remaja putri memiliki dampak yaitu mengurangi produktivitas kerja serta mengurangi kemampuan akademis di sekolah, anemia dapat dicegah dengan mengkonsumsi tablet tambah darah (Fe).Mengetahui pengaruh pemberian media TAR (Tentang Anemia Remaja) terhadap perubahan pengetahuan terkait anemia dan niat untuk konsumsi table Fe pada remaja putri. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian Pre-experimental dengan menggunakan metode One- Grup-Pretest-Posttes Design, pengambilan data secara primer dengan jumlahsampel 68 responden. Uji normalitas menggunakan skewness dan Kolmogorov, analisis data mempergunakan uji Wilcoxon. Hasil penelitian memperlihatkan adanya pengaruh pengetahuan remaja tentang konsumsi tablet Fe sebelum dan sesudah pemberian media TAR (p value = 0,000) dan adanya pengaruh sikap remaja tentang konsumsi tablet Fe sebelum dan sesudah pemberianmedia TAR (p value = 0,003). Terdapat pengaruh penggunaan media TAR terhadap perubahan sikap dan pengetahuan terkait anemia serta konsumsi tablet besi pada remaja putri. Abstract

Background: Blood pressure is the heart's ability to contract like a pump in pushing blood to continue to flow throughout the body in the blood vessels. Risk factors caused high blood pressure can be divided into two uncontrolled factors such as gender, age and family history. While the controlled factors include stress levels, physical activity, obesity, and high-sodium foods consumption. Objective: This study was to determine the correlation between stress levels, physical activity, consumption of high-sodium foods and blood pressure in the elderly (55-64 years) at UPTD Puskesmas Jatiasih, Bekasi City. Research Methods: This research is a cross-sectional approach, with data analysis used is the chi-square statistical test. The research sample was taken using the calculation method using G*power. The population in this study were the elderly (55-64 years) at the UPTD Jatiasih Health Center, Bekasi City, with a total of 46 subjects. DASS 21 stress level instrument, PASE physical activity, consumption of foods high in sodium Semi-FFQ. Result: of the study that Correlation between high sodium food consumption and systolic blood pressure p value = 0,001, correlation between high sodium food consumption and diastolic blood pressure p value = 0,823, stress level correlation with systolic blood pressure p value = 0,095, stress level correlation with diastolic blood pressure p value = 0,573, physical activity correlation with systolic blood pressure p value = 0,328, physical activity correlation with diastolic blood preassure p value = 0,345. Conclusion: from the result of the analysis of high sodium food consumtion, there is a signicant correlation between high sodium food consumption and systolic blood pressure in the elderly with a p value = 0,001 (p<0,05) at the UPTD Puskesmas Jatiasih, Bekasi City.

Abstract

Latar Belakang: Stunting termasuk salah satu masalah gizi yang menjadi perhatian tinggi di Indonesia. Stunting menggambarkan kondisi gagalnya pertumbuhan fisik akibat kekurangan gizi saat dalam kandungan hingga usia dua tahun. Stunting dapat dicegah sejak dini, salah satunya dengan meningkatkan pengetahuan dan sikap pada kelompok wanita usia subur (WUS) dalam mempersiapkan kehamilan. Pada era serba digital, edukasi dapat diberikan melalui aplikasi di ponsel pintar. Aplikasi “Acenting Seni” merupakan media edukasi mengenai cegah stunting sejak dini yang dapat diakses melalui Android Playstore. Tujuan: Mengetahui pengaruh edukasi gizi melalui media aplikasi “Acenting Seni” terhadap perubahan pengetahuan dan sikap mengenai cegah stunting sejak dini pada WUS usia 20–25 tahun. Metode: Penelitian ini adalah quasi eksperimen dengan desain one group pre–posttest tanpa kelompok kontrol. Subjek penelitian dipilih menggunakan teknik purposive sampling yang terdiri dari WUS usia 20–25 tahun sebanyak 30 orang. Penelitian dilakukan pada bulan Juli 2021 di enam kecamatan di Kota Palembang. Pengukuran data pengetahuan dan sikap WUS mengenai stunting dikumpulkan menggunakan kuesioner. Intervensi diberikan sebanyak satu kali setelah pretest dengan memberikan edukasi gizi media “Acenting Seni” dibantu penjelasan peneliti mengenai isi materi dari media “Acenting Seni”. Analisis data diolah menggunakan Paired Sample T-test dan Wilcoxon Rank Sum test dengan tingkat signifikasi 5% (p<0,05). Hasil: Setelah pemberian edukasi, terdapat peningkatan skor posttest pengetahuan sebesar 24,5 poin (p=0,0001) dan skor posttest sikap sebesar 20 poin (p=0,0001). Kesimpulan: Media “Acenting Seni” mampu meningkatkan pengetahuan dan sikap responden mengenai cegah stunting sejak dini.

Abstract

Nutritional status is an important indicator of college student health. College students are included in the age group vulnerable to nutritional problems such as decreased diet quality and excessive weight. The study aims to determine the relationship between body image, mindful eating, and weight loss diet behavior with nutritional status in female college students. The study used a cross-sectional design and was conducted among female students at Esa Unggul University in 2022. A total of 122 subjects were selected using the Proportionate Stratified Random Sampling method. Nutritional status is measured by assessing Body Mass Index (BMI). The instruments used were the Multidimensional Body-Self Relations Questionnaire (MBSRQ) to assess body image, the Mindful Eating Questionnaire (MEQ) to assess mindful eating, and the dietary behavior questionnaire to assess weight loss. Data were analyzed by chi-square test at CI:95%. The results showed that body image was related to thin (p= 0,004) and obese (p= 0,000) nutritional status. Dietary behavior for weight loss is associated with thin nutritional status (p= 0,010) but not with obesity (p= 0,389). In conclusion, nutritional status (BMI) is related to body image and weight loss diet behavior in female college students.

Abstract

Currently, overcoming and preventing stunting is one of the main objectives of health programs in the Margajaya Health Center. Therefore, strategies are needed to overcome the determining factors both at the individual and household levels. One of them is through providing continuous nutrition education with material that is simplified so it is easy to understand. The service team has developed the KASEP (Komunikasi Antarpersonal dan aplikasi messenger Peduli stunting) program which aims to increase participants' capacity to prevent stunting. This program provides knowledge about balanced nutrition applications through an interpersonal communication approach, as well as the latest information on chatbot-based messenger applications (WAR). Based on the results of the pre-test and post-test, participants showed a significant increase in knowledge. In addition, most participants felt that through WhatsApp autoreply they obtained the information they needed, and the chatbot format such as discussing with friends made it easier for them to adapt.

Abstract

Background: Primary dysmenorrhea during the menstruation period can cause uncomfortable conditions, reduction in productivity and study concentration, and daily activities in adolescents. Calcium source and animal protein consumption may reduce the pain intensity of primary dysmenorrhea. In addition, normal stress levels and regular exercise habits can regulate the release of hormones that control pain intensity. Objectives: This study aims to analyze the correlation between animal protein consumption, calcium adequacy level, stress level, exercise habits, and primary dysmenorrhea pain level in female students of SMAN 1 Sukabumi City. Methods: This quantitative study used an observational study design with a Cross-Sectional approach. Simple random sampling was taken from twelfth-grade science classes with 62 female students in SMAN 1 Sukabumi City. Data collection was performed through interviews using Google Forms and Zoom. The instruments used were SQ-FFQ (Semi-Quantitative Food Frequency Questionnaire), DASS 42 questionnaire (Depression Anxiety Stress Scale), Wong-Baker Pain scale, and exercise habit questionnaire. Bivariate analysis was done using the Chi-Square test with α=0.05. Results: There was a correlation between the level of calcium adequacy and the scale of primary dysmenorrhea pain in female students of SMAN 1 Sukabumi City (P<0.05), and no significant correlation between the level of adequacy of animal protein consumption, exercise habit, the level of stress and the scale of primary dysmenorrhea pain (P>0.05). Conclusions: Respondents with sufficient calcium levels can lower the degree of primary dysmenorrhea pain. Therefore, meeting the calcium requirement to prevent menstrual pain is recommended.

Abstract

Anemia zat besi merupakan salah satu isu penting pada ibu hamil, yang berdampak negatif pada ibu dan anak, perlu pemahaman terkait anemia gizi pada ibu hamil untuk mencegah dampak yang dapat ditimbulkan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji efektivitas chatbot sebagai alat edukasi yang dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan dan sikap tentang gizi dan anemia gizi. Metode yang digunakan adalah desain penelitian eksperimental pre dan post tes dengan sampel 30 wanita, yang terdiri dari ibu hamil. Responden pada penelitian ini adalah wanita dengan usia paling banyak 18-25 tahun (33.3%), di mana 16.7% di antaranya mengalami anemia, serta sebagian besar (36.7%) memiliki tingkat pendidikan setingkat SD. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan pengetahuan responden setelah intervensi chatbot (Rata-rata pre=9.67, post=10.93; p=0.01), walaupun perubahan sikap tidak signifikan secara statistik (Rata-rata pre=36.57, post=37.2; p=0.32). Kesimpulan nya, chatbot efektif dalam meningkatkan pengetahuan terkait gizi dan anemia gizi. Penelitian lebih lanjut perlu dilakukan untuk melihat efek intervensi ini pada perubahan sikap, dengan periode intervensi yang lebih lama dan melibatkan lebih banyak responden. Penelitian ini juga menyarankan penggunaan metode dan pendekatan intervensi yang berbeda untuk melihat efektivitas nya dalam mempengaruhi sikap dan perilaku.
