Abstract

Indonesia has various cultural diversity, one of which is traditional houses. Each region has traditional houses that have their own style. The aim of this research is to explore the ethnomathematics found in traditional houses through literature studies from previous research. The research method applied is a systematic literature review. The search for journals and proceedings used the Google Scholar database via publish or perish, with a time span from 2019 to 2023. Based on the search results using publish or perish, 220 articles were obtained. The articles were then selected based on exclusion and inclusion criteria to become 22. The results of the analysis showed that the concept of mathematics is often found in home ornaments and architecture. Mathematical concepts discovered include flat shapes, spatial shapes, transformation geometry, similarity, and congruence. Mathematical concepts found in traditional houses can be implemented into learning by using them as questions, learning activities, learning media, and learning resources.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to know the effect of application of E-Learning model based on Web-Centric Course with Edmodo application media to increase: (1) the interesting of learning mathematics, (2) The mathematics student learning outcomes. The research method is used in quantitative research with the quasi-type experimental design, as well as research design using the pre-test and post-test control group. The Instrument has used the test of mathematics learning outcomes and questionnaire interest in learning mathematics students. The data hypothesis test uses the t-test involving pre-requisite tests (normality and homogeneity) beforehand. The result of this research is the application of E-Learning model based on Web-Centric Course with Edmodo application media has an effect on: (1) the student learning outcomes of mathematics; (2) the interesting of learning mathematics students.

Abstract

This research aims to determine customer perceptions of food outlets located on Lampung Walk and to find out the similarities between food outlets on Lampung Walk using Multidimensional Scaling analysis. The methods used in this reseach are descriptive method and analytic survey using inferential statistics. The research places are the food outlet of Kedai Urang, el’s coffee, dimsum moresto, pondok hijau and sup duren ewok. The results of this research known that the highest customer perceptions is in Kedai Urang with affordable price attributes, more portions, good taste, neat and clean presentation. So that for other business developers can pay attention to the attributes of consumer perception for business continuity.

Abstract

This research seeks to create legitimate and practical teaching materials in the form of a module utilizing a realistic mathematics education approach focused on the topic of systems of linear equations in two variables. This study utilizes the research and development (RD) approach, specifically the Thiagarajan 4-D model, which consists of four stages: (1) definition, (2) design, (3) development, and (4) dissemination. We conducted the research at MTsN 1 Central Aceh. Two classes, each with high and moderate abilities, participated in the research. The trial analysis yielded the following findings: (1) Validity, as two experts validated the teaching materials; (2) Practicality, as demonstrated by an average implementation of the learning syntax exceeding 75%, an average student activity exceeding 75%, extremely positive student and teacher responses to the module, and a classification of the developed module as practical. According to the results of the students' learning tests, 15 students completed the requirements out of 19 students in the high-ability class, and 14 students completed the requirements out of 19 students in the medium-ability class. Consequently, we categorize the percentage of students who have met the requirements as excellent. The module created utilizing a realistic mathematics education technique for the topic of systems of linear equations in two variables for eighth grade is deemed viable, indicating it is both valid and practical.

Abstract

Siswa mengalami kesulitan dalam memecahkan masalah Trigonometri yang berdampak pada rendahnya hasil belajar. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kesalahan siswa memecahkan masalah trigonometri ditinjau dari strategi pemecahan masalah Polya. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksploratif menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif. Penelitian dilaksanakan dengan melibatkan 1 guru dan 20 siswa SMA. Data penelitian ini dikumpulkan melalui tes dan wawancara. Tes terdiri atas 5 masalah Trigonometri. Wawancara semi terstruktur diberikan pada; (1) guru untuk mengetahui kesulitan yang dialami siswa selama proses pembelajaran Trigonometri, dan (2) siswa untuk mengidentifikasi kesalahan dalam memecahkan masalah. Data dianalisis dengan tahapan berikut; (1) jawaban siswa diperiksa lalu di hitung skor untuk setiap masalah, (2) di identifikasi jenis kesalahan siswa pada setiap masalah, (3) persentase banyaknya siswa dihitung pada tiap jenis kesalahan, dan (4) siswa yang melakukan kesalahan diwawancara untuk mengetahui penyebab dan jenis kesalahan. Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa kesalahan siswa dalam memecahkan masalah Trigonometri adalah: (i) Kesalahan memahami masalah Trigonometri (57,73%); (ii) Kesalahan dalam merencanakan strategi (9,27%); (iii) Kesalahan menerapkan solusi (15,83%); dan (iv) kesalahan dalam memeriksa kembali (17,16%). Students have difficulty in solving trigonometric problems which have an impact on low learning outcomes. This article aims to analyze students' errors in solving trigonometric problems in terms of Polya's problem-solving strategy. This research is exploratory research using a descriptive qualitative approach. The research was conducted by involving 1 teacher and 20 high school students. The data of this study were collected through tests and interviews. The test consists of 5 Trigonometry problems. Semi-structured interviews were given on; (1) teachers to find out the difficulties experienced by students during the Trigonometry learning process, and (2) students to identify errors in solving problems. The data were analyzed in the following steps; (1) student answers are checked and then the score is calculated for each problem, (2) the types of student errors are identified in each problem, (3) the percentage of the number of students is calculated for each type of error, and (4) students who make mistakes are interviewed to find out the cause and the type of error. This study found that students' errors in solving Trigonometric problems were: (i) Misunderstanding of Trigonometric problems (57.73%); (ii) Errors in devising a plan (9.27%); (iii) Error in performing the plan (15.83%); and (iv) errors in looking back/ confirmation of the answer (17.16%).

Abstract

The purpose of this dedication activity is to improve the well-being of the people of Gegarang village with the role of the village owned enterprise agency as a driver and create creative and innovative social entrepreneurship. The approach of this dedication activity is Participatory Action Research (PAR). The results of this dedication show that (1) participants have an understanding of social entrepreneurship and marketing, (2) participants have successfully implemented the process of making onion cakes based on Fish Depik good taste and good product packaging, (3) the success rate of dedication activity seen from the large number of consumers who purchased the product.

Abstract

Class IX students of SMP Negeri 4 Takengon generally find it difficult to understand the mathematics learning material contained in the school textbook, besides that the teacher also feels that textbooks as teaching materials still do not help students in learning both at school and independently, so it is very necessary to have other teaching materials that can overcome this. Therefore the researcher felt that this research was very suitable to be carried out. This Research and Development (R&D) research uses the Rowntree development model whose goal is to develop math modules with the STEAM approach on curved side space material that is valid and practical for use in junior high school mathematics learning. The development process consists of three stages, namely the planning, development and evaluation stages using the formative evaluation procedure from Tessmer. Based on this development stage, a mathematics module with the STEAM approach has been produced which contains curved side geometrical material and can be categorized as very valid (content validation 4.54 and media validation 4.75) and also very practical based on one to one evaluation (teacher response 96.96% and student response 98.97%) and small group evaluation of 92.11%.

Abstract

The independent curriculum requires teachers to have an enthusiastic, active, innovative, creative, and skilled attitude. One form of innovation for teachers is to create LKPD with a contextual approach that encourages students to be active and creative. However, the LKPD made by teachers is still in the form of questions and exercises that only measure the ability to answer right or wrong, and the concepts are not yet linked to students' real lives. Thus, the purpose of this service is to train junior high school math teachers in creating LKPD using a contextual approach. CBR is the method used in this service, along with practice techniques, Q&A sessions, and lectures. The three stages of an activity are preparation, execution, and evaluation. The results of the service showed that participants were able to understand and create LKPD using a contextual approach. This can be seen from the results of the pre-test and post-test evaluations that have been carried out. Apart from that, based on the service activity questionnaire that was distributed to participants, they received a positive response, and participants wanted sustainable service activities.

Abstract

Abstrak:            Pembelajaran daring agar dapat berhasil diperlukan adanya ketertarikan mahasiswa yang tinggi dalam belajar matematika. Ketertarikan yang tinggi terhadap pembelajaran matematika disebut dengan disposisi matematis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui adakah pengaruh disposisi matematis terhadap prestasi belajar e-learning mahasiswa Tadris Matematika (TMA) Semester III IAIN Takengon. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa TMA IAIN Takengon. Sample dipilih dengan teknik purposive sampling yaitu mahasiswa TMA semester III. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian korelasi. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan tes dan non tes. Penelitian ini dianalisis menggunakan uji normalitas, uji linieritas, uji heteroskedastisitas, dan uji regresi linier sederhana. Berdasarkan pengujian regresi diketahui nilai sig = 0,003 < 0,05 yang berarti bahwa disposisi matematis memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap prestasi belajar e-learning. Selain itu diperoleh nilai R square = 0,848 menunjukan bahwa variabel disposisi matematis mempengaruhi variabel prestasi belajar e-learning sebesar 84,8% dan sebesar 16, 4% variabel prestasi belajar e-learning dipengaruhi faktor diluar disposisi matematis. Besarnya koefisien korelasi (R) adalah 0,921 yang artinya terdapat hubungan yang kuat antara disposisi matematis dengan prestasi belajar e-learning. Model regresinya adalah Y = -41,300 + 1,158 X. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa disposisi matematis memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap prestasi belajar e-learning mahasiswa. Kata Kunci:Disposisi Matematis, Prestasi Belajar, E-Learning Abstract:Learning online in order to be successful requires high student interest in learning mathematics. High interest in learning mathematics is called a mathematical disposition. This study aims to determine whether there is an effect of mathematical disposition on e-learning learning achievement of Mathematics Tadris (TMA) III Semester students at IAIN Takengon. The population in this study were students of TMA IAIN Takengon. Samples were selected by purposive sampling technique and selected third semester TMA students. The approach used is a quantitative approach with the type of correlation research. The research instrument used tests and non-tests. This study was analyzed using the normality test, linearity test, heteroscedasticity test, and simple linear regression test. Based on regression testing, it is known that the value of sig = 0.003 <0.05, which means that mathematical disposition has a significant effect on e-learning achievement. In addition, the value of R square = 0.848 shows that the mathematical disposition variable affects the e-learning learning achievement variable by 84.8% and 16.4%, the e-learning learning achievement variable is influenced by factors outside of mathematical disposition. The magnitude of the correlation coefficient (R) is 0.921, which means that there is a strong relationship between mathematical disposition and e-learning achievement. The regression model is Y = -41,300 + X 1,158. This shows that mathematical disposition has a significant effect on student e-learning achievement. Keywords:Mathematical Disposition, Learning Achievement, E-Learning

The aim of this study was to: (1) develop learning tools with local wisdom approach Gayo based on realistic mathematics materials Geometry at MTs throughout Central Aceh, (2) promoting the development of the mathematics learning approach to realistic mathematics at MTs throughout Central Aceh through seminars and workshops. Development of the learning device uses 4-D models consist of define, design, development and dissemination. Disseminate phase is the stage of dissemination of devices that have been developed on a wider scale is done through workshops with participants of all teachers of mathematics MTs in Central Aceh. Learning tools created is the syllabus, lesson plans, worksheets, books Student and THB.
