Abstract

Realistic Mathematics berbasis kearifan budaya lokal menekankan pada pembelajaran matematika yang dikaitkan dengan realita dan aktivitas kebudayaan siswa. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengembangkan perangkat pembelajaran Realistic Mathematic s berbasis kearifan budaya lokal suku Gayo pada materi geometri. Pengembangan perangkat pembelajaran menggunakan model 4-D yang terdiri atas tahap menefinisikan (define), mendesain (design), mengembangkan (development), dan menyebarkan (dissemination). Perangkat pembelajaran yang dibuat adalah silabus, RPP, LKS, dan buku siswa. Melalui hasil pengembangan perangkat pembelajaran diperoleh bahwa perangkat pembelajaran valid berdasarkan hasil validitas pakar. Kata Kunci : kearifan budaya lokal, Realistic Mathematic s, suku Gayo.   ABSTRACT Realistic Mathematics based on local wisdom emphasizes the mathematics learning which is associated with students’ reality and cultural activities. The purpose of this research is to develop Realistic Mathematic s learning kit based on the local wisdom of Gayo on geometry. The learning kits are developed by using the 4-D model (define, design, develop, and dissemination). The learning kits consist of syllabus, lesson plans, student worksheets, and student books. The learning kits are valid based on the face validity. Keywords: local wisdom, Realistic Mathematic s, Gayonese.

Abstract

Di abad-21 ini stakeholder dalam dunia pendidikan ditantang untuk mampu menciptakan tatanan pendidikan yang dapat ikut menghasilkan sumber daya pemikir yang mampu ikut membangun tatanan sosial ekonomi sadar-pengetahuan sebagaimana layaknya warga dunia di abad-21. Guru yang menyadari pentingnya pendidikan dalam menjawab tuntutan jaman di era ekonomi global pasti akan berusaha untuk membekali peserta didik mereka dengan keterampilan yang dibutuhkan pada abad 21. Salah satu model pembelajaran yang dapat diterapkan guru dalam menghadapi tantangan di abad-21 adalah model Project Based Learning (PBL). Melalui model  Project Based Learning, peserta didik menggunakan kemampuan berkomunikasi dan keterampilan untuk menyampaikan menyampaikan gagasan atau ide, organisasi dan management waktu, keterampilan berinkuiri, keterampilan self assessment dan refleksi, partisipasi dalam kelompok, serta keterampilan leadership.

Abstract

Kemampuan penalaran matematis merupakan salah satu tujuan pembelajaran matematika. Namun, pentingnya penalaran matematis tidak sesuai dengan kondisi di lapangan. Berdasarkan observasi diketahui penalaran matematis siswa di MAN 3 Aceh Tengah masih rendah. Oleh karena itu diperlukan perangkat pembelajaran yang dapat mengembangkan kemampuan penalaran matematis siswa. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengembangkan perangkat pembelajaran generative berbantuan alat peraga menara Hanoi untuk mengembangkan penalaran matematis siswa yang memenuhi kriteria valid, efektif, dan praktis. Model pengembangan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah model Plomp yang terdiri dari investigasi awal (preliminary investigation), perancangan (design), realisasi/kontruksi (realization/construction), tes, evaluasi, dan revisi (test, evaluation, and revision). Instrument penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah lembar validasi RPP, lembar validasi LAS, lembar validasi THB, angket respon guru, dan angket respon siswa. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh nilai rata-rata RPP sebesar 3,493 (kategori baik), LAS sebesar 3, 475 (kategori baik), dan THB sebesar 3,535 (kategori baik). Kepraktisan dilakukan dengan pemberian angket respon siswa dan guru dihasilkan respon positif siswa sebesar 93,81% dan respon guru sebesar 3,11 (kategori baik). Efektivitas dilakukan dengan melakukan uji ketuntasan individual dan klasikal menghasilkan rata-rata prestasi belajar siswa sama dengan 70 dan rata-rata prestasi belajar siswa telah mencapai ketuntasan klasikal sebesar 80%. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa perangkat pembelajaran yang dikembangkan memenuhi kriteria valid, efektif, dan praktis.

Abstract

The research aims to: obtaining (1) a description of the types of materials , mathematical ability, and the level of complexity, (2) a description of the absorption of the material, (3) a model of matter UN in terms of NAEP as an alternative evaluation of learning mathematics. This study uses a model of Plomp development consisting of preliminary investigation, design, the realization phase, test, evaluation, and revision, and implementation phases. Type of device being developed is the UN test criteria were reviewed from NAEP and validation sheet. The device is validated experts and colleagues then tested on the subject of new students of class X-2 SMAN 2 Mranggen. The test results were analyzed with biserial correlation, product moment, Hoyt, level of difficulty and discrimination power. The first trial invalid on multiple-choice number 4, 5, 14,15, 16, and 17. Reliability in one package at a high 0.931. The second trial on multiple-choice questions that all valid. At number 7 short answer is invalid, and valid for all extended construction. Reliability on the second package of 0.904 is high. Abstract

The purpose of this study was to (1) compare the Course Review Horay (CRH) learning model with STAD in improving students' mathematical understanding, (2) describe the increase in mathematical understanding of students using CRH and STAD, (3) find out the feasibility of the Course Review Horay learning model (CRH) with STAD through activities of observing teacher and student activities. The form of this research is quantitative research with semi-experimental research types. The research sample was selected by Cluster Random Sampling obtained by two classes of students X Science 2 and X IPA 3 Takengon N 15 High School. Data collection techniques used are tests and observations. Hypothesis testing uses a 1-party t-test and an increase using the N-gain test. The results obtained by tcount> t table where 2.44> 2.01, with a significant level of 0.05 and dk = 26 + 26 - 2 = 50, thus H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. The increase in the ability of mathematical understanding using the CRH learning model is more significant at g = 0.66 compared to STAD at g = 0.33. Based on the results of this study it can be concluded that the Course Review Horay (CRH) learning model is better than STAD in improving students' mathematical understanding.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine the numerical literacy ability profile of MI students in class V in terms of gender utilizing Polya problem-solving. In this study, a descriptive qualitative technique was adopted. The research is being conducted at MIN 9 Central Aceh. Purposive sampling is used to choose study volunteers. The data analysis approach developed by Miles and Huberman was employed in this investigation. According to the study's findings, the pupils' numeracy literacy test scores depending on gender have remained in the 40 range, which was classified as poor. According to the findings of the interviews and research, both male and female students struggled to comprehend the problem at the beginning. Male and female students are unable to create solutions, execute solutions, or review replies because they do not grasp the problem.

Abstract

This study aims to compare the mean problem-solving ability of students treated with the problem-based learning with discovery learning on the SPLDV material. The population in this study were all students of class VIII SMPN 4 Takengon. Sampling using cluster random sampling selected classes VIII2 and VIII3. Data collection techniques using tests and observations. The research instrument used a problem-solving ability test and observation sheet. The data analysis technique uses the t-test which is used to compare problem-based learning with discovery learning. Based on the research results, it was found that the mean problem-solving ability treated with the problem-based learning model was higher than that given the discovery learning treatment. The difference in the mean problem-solving ability between the problem-based learning and discovery learning classes is caused by the different treatment given to the two classes.

Abstract

To be able to improve students' problem solving abilities, one way is to choose the right mathematics learning model. One of the learning models that can be used is the problem based learning model. The purpose of this study was to re-analyze the effect of the problem-based learning model on students' mathematical problem solving abilities by reviewing, summarizing data and analyzing some of the research results that have been published on Google Scholar as many as 14 articles by means of statistics. The type of research in this article is a type of meta-analysis research. The research steps included data collection, coding, calculating the increase in problem-solving abilities and the effect size, identifying whether there were differences in the average, and drawing conclusions. Based on the results of the study, the average effect size was 2.02 with a very large category. Meanwhile, based on the paired sample t-test, the value of sig (2 tailed) = 0.000 <α = 0.05, which means that there is a difference in the average problem-solving ability before and after being treated with the problem based learning model. Based on the average effect size and paired sample t-test results, it can be concluded that the problem-based learning model has an effect on students' mathematical problem solving abilities.

Abstract

Pandemi Covid-19 mengharuskan perubahan pembelajaran dari tatap muka menjadi pembelajaran online atau daring. Guru dituntut kreatif dan aktif agar materi pelajaran matematika yang diberikan melalui daring bisa diterima oleh siswa dan tidak membosankan. Namun, beberapa guru SD Negeri 8 Takengon yang berusia 40-50 tahun mengalami gagap teknologi terutama dalam mengoperasikan aplikasi di internet seperti aplikasi Quizizz.  Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pelatihan kepada guru dan siswa mengenai cara membuat soal dengan Quizizz dan menerapkannya dalam pembelajaran baik di kelas maupun di luar kelas. Metode pengabdian yang digunakan adalah survei lapangan, tahap pendahuluan dan perizinan, metode pelatihan, dan metode demonstrasi. Pelatihan penggunaan Quizziz sebagai media belajar sambil bermain berjalan dengan lancar. Kegiatan pelatihan ini bermanfaat bagi peserta terutama dalam meningkatkan kemampuan membuat soal yang menarik dan menyenangkan dengan menggunakan aplikasi Quizizz. Dalam pelatihan terdapat beberapa kendala seperti ketidaktersediaan komputer atau laptop yang menyebabkan peserta harus menggunakan Handphone untuk praktek penggunaan aplikasi Quizziz. Diharapkan untuk kegiatan pengabdian mendatang kendala-kendala tersebut dapat teratasi dan kegiatan pengabdian selanjutnya dapat mengembangkan kompetensi guru maupun siswa
