Abstract

Abstract

The lack of teacher ability in designing thematic learning that can activate students so that it impacts students who tend to be passive in learning. One way to increase student activity in thematic learning was by the help of learning media in the form of media fun thinkers. This study aimed to produce media fun thinkers "Weather" and determine the validity of the media fun thinkers "Weather." This research used development research carried out using the ADDIE model. The subjects of this study were two lecturers as content experts, two lecturers as media experts, two teachers as practitioners, and 12 students consisting of 3 students as individual tests and nine students as small group tests. The instrument used in this research was a rating scale and a questionnaire. The data collection method used was observation, interviews, document studies, rating scales, and questionnaires. The data were analyzed descriptively by calculating the Aiken validation index to determine the validity of the fun thinkers' media and the percentage to determine the teacher and student responses. As a result, the ADDIE media developed was declared valid based on the results of the assessment by content experts, and media experts as a whole obtained the lowest Aiken validation index of 0.625 and the highest 1. The teacher and student responses obtained an overall percentage of 91.7% with very good qualifications. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the weather fun thinkers media was valid and feasible to use in lessons, especially the weather theme for grade III elementary school.

Abstract

The lack of availability of innovative learning media that is able to load material effectively has an impact on the low motivation to learn and students' understanding of the material. This study aims to design a digital literacy-based learning video media on the topic of natural resources and technology for grade IV SD which has been tested for validity. This research is development research or RnD (research and development). This development research uses the ADDIE model. The subjects in this study consisted of 2 material experts, 2 media experts, 2 practitioners, 6 students in two elementary schools for individual trials, and 12 students in two elementary schools for small group trials. The data collection method used is the questionnaire method with the distribution of rating scale instruments on a scale of 5. The data from the assessment results that have been obtained are then analyzed by the Mean formula to obtain the average score. The average score of material experts is 4.73, media experts are 4.50, practitioners are 4.78, individual trials are 4.53 and small group trials are 4.61. So, overall the results of the validity of the digital literacy-based learning video media are in the range of 4.01 < x < 5.01 with very good qualifications. Based on this analysis, digital literacy-based learning video media on the topic of natural resources and technology for fourth-grade elementary school are feasible to be used in the learning process.

Abstract

The Covid -19 pandemic demands learning using an online system. This study aims to describe the effect of project-based learning model assisted by blended learning on scientific attitudes and science learning outcomes. The study population was all fourth grade elementary school students in the Banyuning Cluster, Buleleng District, 2020/2021 academic year, with 8 classes with a total of 184 students. The research samples were SDN 1 Banyuning with 31 students as the experimental group and SDN 8 Banyuning with 30 students as the control group; determined by random sampling technique. Sampling using random sampling technique. The design uses Post test Only Control Group Design. Scientific Attitude data were collected using a questionnaire and science learning outcomes were collected through objective tests. Data were analyzed through descriptive statistics and the Manova SPSS-17 test. The results show that (1) there is a significant difference in scientific attitudes between students who follow the project-based learning model assisted by blended learning and students who follow the conventional learning model, as evidenced by having an F value of 471.8 with a significance value of 0.000 or less than 0. ,05. (2) there is a significant difference in science learning outcomes between students who follow the project-based learning model assisted by blended learning and students who take conventional learning as evidenced by the science learning outcomes that have an F value of 3.69 with a significance value of 0.000 or less than 0 ,05. This shows that the F value in the dependent variable of science learning outcomes is significant (3) there are differences in scientific attitudes and science learning outcomes simultaneously between students who follow the project-based learning model assisted by blended learning and students who follow the conventional learning model. a significance level of 0.05 resulted in a p < 0.05.

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic requires learning to use an online system. However, there are still many teachers who have difficulty designing appropriate learning for students. This study analyses the project-based learning model assisted by blended learning on scientific attitudes and science learning outcomes—the research population with as many as 184 students. The research sample amounted to 61 students—sampling using the random sampling technique. The design uses Post-test Only Control Group Design. Scientific Attitude data was collected using a questionnaire, and science learning outcomes were collected through an objective test. Data were analyzed through descriptive statistics and the SPSS-17 Manova test. The results showed a significant difference in scientific attitudes between students who followed the project-based learning model assisted by blended learning and students who followed the conventional learning model, with an F value of 471.8. There is a significant difference in science learning outcomes between students who follow the project-based learning model assisted by blended learning and students who take conventional learning, as evidenced by the science learning outcomes with an F value of 3.69. There are differences in scientific attitudes and science learning outcomes simultaneously between students who follow the project-based learning model assisted by blended learning and students who follow the conventional learning model. a significance level of 0.05 resulted in a p < 0.05. It can be concluded that the Project-based Blended Learning learning model can improve scientific attitudes and student learning outcomes.
