Abstract

This study examines the impact of employee organizational citizenship behavior (OCB) and engagement on the performance of microfinance institutions, with a focus on the moderating role of managerial decision-making. Data were collected from 100 key microfinance institutions employees in Greater Bandung, with interviews of 10 experienced staff (>5 years) conducted to refine the questionnaire and ensure alignment with microfinance institutions work conditions. Using Structural Equation Modeling using Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) for data analysis, this study finds that both organizational citizenship behavior (OCB) and employee engagement significantly enhance microfinance institutions performance. The results further indicate that managerial decision-making serves as a critical mediator between OCB, employee engagement, and organizational performance. These findings underscore the importance of managerial decision-making in amplifying the effects of OCB and employee engagement on microfinance institutions performance. Furthermore, this research introduces alternative metrics for assessing OCB, employee engagement, managerial decision-making, and organizational performance.

Abstract

Abstract

This study uses the Importance-Performance Analysis (IPA) method to evaluate the service quality at the House of Tjihapit, a restaurant in Bandung that faces challenges due to the COVID-19 pandemic. A quantitative approach was applied, gathering data through questionnaires to assess customer expectations and perceptions of service performance. The findings reveal that while overall service performance slightly exceeds customer expectations by 2%, issues such as poor handling of service problems remain. The study concludes that despite satisfactory service quality, there is a need for targeted improvements in specific areas to enhance customer satisfaction and retention. Future research should explore similar evaluations across multiple venues to provide a broader understanding of service quality in the industry. Abstract

This study investigates how User Generated Content (UGC) and Firm Generated Content (FGC) are associated with Visit Intention (VI), with Muslimah Emotional Connection (MEC) as a mediating variable in the context of Korean-themed café as a creative space. Although previous studies have widely examined the relationship between digital content and visit intention, limited research has explored how identity and emotional connections influence Muslimah consumers within Hallyu-inspired spaces. This study addresses this gap by conceptualizing MEC as an emotional mediator that reflects emotional comfort, identity congruence, and alignment with personal and religious values in the context of Korean-themed café experiences. Kolato Café in Bandung was selected as the research context due to its strong Hallyu-themed branding and active Instagram presence. Using the Stimulus-Organism-Response (SOR) framework and the Theory of Interpersonal Behavior (TIB), this study employed a quantitative approach involving 292 respondents and analyzed the data using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The findings indicate that both UGC and FGC significantly influence MEC and VI, with UGC demonstrating a stronger influence on emotional connection (β = 0.481) compared to FGC. In addition, MEC partially mediates the relationships between digital content and visit intention. These findings extend the application of SOR and TIB by showing that emotional engagement among Muslimah consumers is shaped not only by digital attractiveness, but also by authenticity, emotional reassurance, and value compatibility. Practically, the study suggests that Korean-themed café businesses should encourage authentic consumer participation and develop culturally sensitive digital marketing strategies that strengthen emotional connection among Muslimah audiences.

Abstract

Driven by the rising demand for services aligned with Islamic values, halal tourism emerged as a critical segment in Indonesia's hospitality industry. This shift forced destinations to recalibrate how they operationalized religious comfort and structural compliance for Muslim travelers. While existing literature heavily explored Muslim travel behavior through the lenses of destination attributes, religiosity, and perceived value, empirical insights remained sparse regarding how tangible faith-based facilities interacted with institutional trust signals such as halal certification to shape visiting intentions. To explore these dynamics, this study deployed a quantitative research design to evaluate the impact of Muslim-Friendly Tourism Facilities (MFF) on Visiting Intention (MVI), specifically examining the mediating role of Perceived Benefits of Halal Certification (PBH). Utilizing a purposive sampling approach, data were gathered from 250 Muslim respondents and subsequently analyzed via PLS-SEM using SmartPLS 4. The empirical findings substantiated that faith-based amenities shaped visitor behavior through both direct pathways and indirect mechanisms through certification perceptions. Given that the direct link between facilities and intentions remained statistically meaningful alongside the significant indirect path, the perceived benefits of halal certification functioned strictly as a partial mediator.

Abstract

The increasing demand for healthy beverages highlights the need to understand factors influencing consumers' purchase intentions. Previous studies have mainly examined Electronic Word of Mouth (e-WOM), Consumer Health Consciousness, Perceived Value, and Purchase Intention separately, while their integrated relationship in local healthy beverage products remains underexplored. This study aims to analyze the effects of e-WOM and Consumer Health Consciousness on Purchase Intention through the mediating role of Perceived Value among Pure Matcha Pikulabs consumers. A quantitative explanatory approach was employed using a cross-sectional survey of 200 respondents selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected using an online questionnaire and analyzed with Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The results indicate that e-WOM and Consumer Health Consciousness significantly affect Perceived Value and Purchase Intention. Perceived Value has the strongest direct effect on Purchase Intention and partially mediates both relationships. These findings suggest that integrating digital communication, health-oriented marketing, and value creation is essential to strengthen consumers' purchase intentions toward healthy beverage products.
