Abstract

This research is entitled "Analysis of the Framing of Reporting "Ndasmu Etik" in the 2024 Presidential Candidate (Capres) Debate on the Kompas.Com and Tempo.Co Portals". This research aims to find out how the online media Kompas.com and tempo.co frame the reporting of "ndasmu istik" made by Prabowo during the presidential election debate forum. This research uses framing analysis, which analyzes news using syntax, script, thematic and rhetorical. The theory used in this research is framing analysis. The objects of this research are 7 (seven) Kompas.com news texts and 7 (seven) Tempo.co news texts regarding the "ndasmu istik" that Prabowo uttered during the debate. This research method uses a descriptive qualitative approach. This research uses the Zhongdang Pan and Gerald M Koscicki model analysis technique. The results of the research show that the news published by the online media kompas.com attempts to lead public opinion towards Prabowo's behavior and remarks which are considered inappropriate, while the online media Tempo.co has its own way of framing news.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi dan menganalisis pengaruh langsung dan tidak langsung dari gaya kepemimpinan dan lingkungan kerja terhadap motivasi kerja, yang pada akhirnya mempengaruhi kinerja karyawan di UD Fresh Frozen Food Kabupaten Jember. Badan usaha ini perlu mengoptimalkan sumber daya yang dimilikinya agar tujuan organisasi dapat dicapai secara efektif dan efisien, dengan salah satu faktor pengaruhnya adalah gaya kepemimpinan, lingkungan kerja, dan motivasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan sampel dari karyawan UD Fresh Frozen Food Kabupaten Jember dengan mengumpulkan data primer melalui kuesioner yang disebar kepada 40 responden. Analisis yang digunakan adalah Analisis Jalur (Path Analysis) untuk mengetahui hubungan kausal antara variabel yang diteliti.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1)gaya kepemimpinan memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap motivasi kerja, (2)lingkungan kerja juga berpengaruh signifikan terhadap motivasi karyawan,(3)Motivasi kerja juga terbukti memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan,(4)Gaya kepemimpinan juga memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan,(5)lingkungan kerja juga berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan,(6)gaya kepemimpinan juga memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan melalui motivasi,(7)lingkungan kerja, yang juga memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan melalui motivasi. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi bagi UD Fresh Frozen Food Kabupaten Jember dalam memahami faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi kinerja karyawan dan dapat menjadi dasar untuk meningkatkan kinerja organisasi secara keseluruhan.

Abstract

Background: Helminthiasis remains a significant health issue in Indonesia, especially among children in rural areas. Poor environmental factors, such as inadequate sanitation, and low public awareness of the importance of personal hygiene contribute to the high prevalence of helminth infections. Purpose: To enhance the understanding of Grade VI students at SDN 4 Kalisari regarding the dangers of helminthiasis and its prevention through healthy living practices. Method: Direct socialization through material presentation and proper handwashing practice. This activity was attended by 23 students and took place on November 30, 2024. Results: Most students understood the causes and preventive measures for helminthiasis, but some students were not yet accustomed to regularly practicing healthy habits, such as washing hands with soap. Collaboration between parents and teachers is needed to ensure the implementation of these healthy habits in daily life. Conclusion: This socialization is expected to contribute to the prevention of helminthiasis and raise awareness of the importance of personal hygiene among children.

Abstract

Sustainable environmental management is a strategic approach to addressing the challenges of ecosystem degradation and global climate change. The concept of green human resources is key to fostering environmentally friendly and sustainability-oriented work behaviors. This community service activity aims to optimize the role of green human resources through education and training in sustainable environmental management for woven purun leaf or rattan MSMEs. The training methods used included workshops, mentoring, and the development of environmentally-based standard operating procedures (SOPs). The results demonstrated an increased understanding of green human resource principles among participants and their ability to implement work practices that support environmental conservation. Sustainable environmental management is not solely the responsibility of large institutions but can also be internalized by woven purun leaf or rattan MSMEs through strengthening the capacity of environmentally conscious human resources.

Abstract

Diabetic Retinopathy (DR) is a complication of Diabetes Mellitus (DM), both type 1 and type 2 DM. Based on its severity, DR is divided into mild DR, moderate DR, severe DR, and proliferative DR stages. Manual detection is difficult because there is a fairly small difference between normal and DR. The Computer-Aided Diagnosis (CAD) system is a solution for detecting the severity of DR quickly and accurately so that DR sufferers do not get worse, which can cause blindness. This study uses fundus images from the Mesindor dataset consisting of four classes, namely normal, mild DR, moderate DR, and severe DR, with the InceptionResNetV2-KELM hybrid method. InceptionResNetV2 is used as a feature extraction and Kernel Extreme Learning Machine (KELM) as its classification. Several types of kernels are applied as model trials. The results show the highest sensitivity lies in the polynomial kernel experiment with a sensitivity value of 99.88%, an accuracy of 99.88%, and a specificity of 99.96%. The method used is able to detect very well and is quite time-effective compared to conventional CNN.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the mediating role of employee green behavior in the relationship between employee engagement and organizational sustainability. The research background is based on the importance of implementing environmentally friendly practices in the workplace as part of an organizational sustainability strategy, where employee engagement potentially enhances green behavior that impacts sustainability performance. A quantitative approach with a survey method was employed, targeting employees of PT. Tapian Nadenggan Tbk., which has implemented the ISO 14001 environmental management system. Data were collected using a 36-item questionnaire and analyzed through Partial Least Squares (PLS). The findings reveal that employee engagement has a significant effect on organizational sustainability (? = 0.469; p < 0.05) as well as on employee green behavior, which in turn significantly mediates this relationship (? = 0.480; p < 0.05). The R² results indicate that employee engagement contributes 27.3% to the formation of employee green behavior and, together with employee green behavior, explains 65.7% of the variance in organizational sustainability. These results highlight that employee involvement in environmentally friendly practices strengthens organizational sustainability performance. The practical implication suggests that organizations should integrate sustainability values into their work culture to achieve long-term sustainable performance.

Abstract

Objective: The objective of this study is to describe trends, contributions, developments, and research opportunities in e-learning for conceptual understanding in physics and science education. Method: The research method employed was bibliometric analysis using the Scopus database. Data were obtained from the Scopus database using the search terms “E-Learning” AND “Physics Education” OR “Science Education” AND “Conceptual Understanding,” yielding 2,735 documents. The Scopus database was filtered by year, document type, and language, resulting in 2,363 documents for analysis. Results:  The results indicate that research on e-learning’s impact on conceptual understanding in physics or science education has been a trend over the past ten years. The top contributing authors are H, Gwo-Jen; S, Niwat; K, Heru; and S, Andi, while the top affiliations are Indonesia University of Education, Padang State University, and Malang State University. Current developments in e-learning have been categorized as artificial intelligence, so the opportunity for data-driven research lies in developing artificial intelligence for learning.  Novelty: Technological transformation has impacted the world of education, particularly in strategies to improve students’ conceptual understanding. This study presents a bibliometric mapping of e-learning research related to conceptual understanding in physics and science education. This study differs from previous research, which has not presented a thematic evolution to guide future research.
