Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of the information system implemented in the Student Activity Unit (UKM) of the University of Muhammadiyah Parepare in supporting student management and participation. This information system is designed to facilitate access to information, registration, and administration of UKM activities. The method used in this study is a descriptive quantitative approach with a survey, where data is collected through questionnaires distributed to active students registered as UKM members. The variables analyzed include information needs, ease of use, system performance, and user satisfaction. The results showed that the majority of respondents were satisfied with the ease of access to information and use of the system. However, there are several areas that need improvement, especially related to the speed of system access and the system's ability to handle large data loads. In addition, the information provided needs to be clearer and more complete, especially regarding UKM profiles and registration procedures. This study suggests developing a system to improve performance, such as optimizing access time and larger data handling capacity. Improved search and filter features are also needed to improve the efficiency of system use. This study is expected to contribute to the development of UKM information systems in higher education and provide recommendations for system managers on other campuses.

Abstract

SMEs often face challenges in efficient financial management, particularly in transaction recording and the preparation of accurate financial reports. This study aims to design a financial report application that can improve the efficiency and accuracy of financial management at UD. Putra Kembar, a building materials trading business. The designed application features tools to record daily transactions and generate automated income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports. This research employs a quantitative approach with a descriptive and experimental design. The sample consists of 30 respondents directly involved in financial management at UD. Putra Kembar. Data were collected through a questionnaire measuring the benefits of the application, ease of use, and system quality. The results indicate that the financial report application accelerates transaction recording, reduces recording errors, and generates more accurate reports. The majority of respondents found the application easy to use, even without technical backgrounds. Overall, this study contributes significantly to the application of technology in SME financial management, particularly in terms of efficiency, accuracy, and ease of use. This application is expected to provide an effective solution for other SMEs to improve their financial management.

Abstract

The cocoa industry faces challenges in ensuring the quality of cocoa beans, especially in detecting the level of dryness that affects the taste and quality of the final product. This study aims to design and develop an Android-based application that can detect the level of dryness of cocoa beans using machine learning technology, specifically Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) implemented with TensorFlow Lite. This application aims to provide a practical and efficient solution for farmers, especially in remote areas, using easily accessible Android devices. The CNN model was trained using a dataset of cocoa bean images with three categories of dryness: Wet, Half Dry, and Dry. The application was tested on 30 respondents consisting of farmers and cocoa bean processors to assess detection accuracy and ease of use. The test results showed that the application was able to detect the level of dryness of cocoa beans with adequate accuracy and appropriate detection speed on Android devices with low specifications. Although this application shows significant potential, several challenges remain, especially related to optimizing detection in poor lighting conditions. This research contributes to the use of mobile technology and machine learning to improve the quality of agricultural products, as well as opening up opportunities for further development in digital-based agricultural systems.

Abstract

This study aims to design a QR-based ticket booking application at Diana Waterpark, which is expected to increase operational efficiency and improve visitor experience. Using a quantitative descriptive approach, data were collected through questionnaires distributed to 30 respondents who visited Diana Waterpark. The results of the application design indicate that the use of QR technology can reduce visitor waiting time and speed up the ticket booking process. In addition, this application is designed to provide convenience for users with an intuitive interface and fast booking system. However, this study also identified several areas that need to be improved, such as the ticket information management system and improving transaction security features. Overall, the design of this application is expected to have a positive impact on visitor satisfaction and loyalty, as well as provide practical solutions in ticket and ride management at Diana Waterpark. This study recommends that managers continue to develop applications with a focus on improving security systems and more integrated application features.

Abstract

Indonesia has several rice producing centers, one of which is Sidrap Regency which is located in South Sulawesi with the support of a rice transplanter technology system. This research aims to analyze the factors inhibiting the implementation of rice transplanter rice planting machine innovation and strategies for implementing the use of this planting machine. This research uses descriptive analysis by creating frequency tables and percentages from primary data results obtained through interviews with respondents. Likert scale to measure farmers' responses to the dissemination of the Rice Transplanter rice planting machine innovation in Sidrap Regency and the ISM method was used to develop a strategy for implementing the dissemination of agricultural innovation to support agricultural development in Sidrap Regency. The research results show that the factors inhibiting the implementation of Rice Transplanter machine innovation are farmers' lack of skills in using rice transplanter, limited rice transplanter, facilities in farmer groups, lack of rice transplanter service providers and lack of farmer staff, motivation to use rice planting tools. The strategy for implementing rice transplanter innovation is through training in implementing rice transplanter innovation, increasing farmers' interest in using rice transplanters, providing rice transplanter facilities and strengthening institutions.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemahaman konsep matematis dan kepercayaan diri matematis terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa SMP Negeri 3 Alu. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian ex-post facto yang bersifat kausal komparatif dengan sampel penelitian sebanyak 57 siswa SMP Negeri 3 Alu yang dipilih dengan menggunakan sampling jenuh. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes dan non tes. Instrumen penelitian terdiri dari: (1) tes pemahaman konsep matematis, (2) angket kepercayaan diri matematis, dan (3) tes hasil belajar matematika. Analisis data dengan menggunakan statistik deskriptif dan analisis inferensial. Hasil analisis deskriptif menunjukkan bahwa: (1) persentase perolehan pemahaman konsep matematis berada pada kategori rendah, (2) persentase perolehan kepercayaan diri matematis berada pada kategori sedang, dan (3) persentase perolehan hasil belajar matematika berada pada kategori sangat rendah. Sementara itu hasil analisis inferensial yaitu: (1) pemahaman konsep matematis berpengaruh secara positif dan signifikan terhadap hasil belajar matematika, (2) kepercayaan diri matematis berpengaruh secara positif dan signifikan terhadap hasil belajar matematika, dan (3) pemahaman konsep matematis dan kepercayaan diri matematis secara bersama-sama berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap hasil belajar matematika.
