Abstract

Work accidents are a problem that often occurs in various construction projects, including in workshop construction. To overcome this, implementing Occupational Health and Safety (K3) management is very important. This research aims to evaluate the implementation of K3 management with a focus on the use of the Hazard Analysis and Control Method (Job Safety Analysis) in preventing work accidents in workshop construction projects. The research method used is field research with a qualitative approach. Data was collected through direct observation, interviews with workers and project managers, as well as analysis of documents related to K3. The process of implementing JSA is evaluated from the stage of identifying hazards, determining control measures, to implementing preventive measures. The research results show that the implementation of K3 management, especially through the use of the JSA method, has a significant role in reducing the risk of work accidents. Systematic identification of hazards and determination of appropriate control measures and helps increase awareness of potential risks in the workplace. Apart from that, this research makes an important contribution in strengthening understanding of the importance of implementing K3 management in the construction industry, especially in the installation of erections for workshop construction. Recommendations are provided to continue to improve the use of the JSA method and to achieve a safer and more productive work environment.

Abstract

In the era of globalization and rapid technological advancement, the labor market demands a workforce that possesses not only formal education but also skills that align with industry needs. Therefore, the government plays a role in enhancing workforce skills, one of which is through job training programs. This study discusses job training based on labor regulations in Indonesia and examines the role of job training in improving workforce skills to support the goals of workforce development in the country. The research employs a normative juridical method with a statute approach. The findings reveal that job training is regulated under several laws and regulations, including Law Number 13 of 2003 on Manpower, Government Regulation Number 31 of 2006 on the National Job Training System, and various Ministerial Regulations issued by the Ministry of Manpower. The role of job training programs provided by the government is a form of community empowerment, particularly for those classified as part of the labor force, to help them secure decent employment and reduce unemployment rates, thereby contributing to economic growth in Indonesia. This initiative also supports the achievement of Sustainable Development Goal number 8

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the type of NPK fertilizer and the concentration of nanosilica fertilizer that provided good growth and yield for the local red rice variety Inpari-24 Gabusan. This research was conducted from January to May 2022, taking place at the PAS “Lestari Makmur” Self-Help Agriculture and Rural Training Center, Jalan Wates Km. 12 Semampir Hamlet, Argorejo Village, Sedayu District, Bantul Regency, Yogyakarta. This study consisted of 2 factors, namely the first factor, the NPK Phonska, Mutiara, Yaramila fertilizers and the second factor, namely the concentration of 1%, 1.5%, and 2% Nanosilika fertilizer. This study was conducted with 3 repetitions of each factor and arranged in a Complete Randomized Block Design RAKL. The observed variables included plant height, number of tillers per hill, fresh chestnut weight, dry shoot weight, number of productive tillers per hill, panicle length, percentage of filled grain, 1000 grain weight, and grain weight per hectare. Data analysis was carried out on the results of observations using variance at a 5% level, the differences between treatments were tested with DMRT Duncan's multiple range test at a level of 5%. Treatment of various NPK fertilizers and nanosilica fertilizer concentrations on the growth and yield of red rice of the Inpari-24 gabusan variety showed no interaction with all observed variables. Treatment of various NPK fertilizers on the growth and yield of the red rice variety Inpari-24 Gabusan showed no significant difference in growth and yield. Treatment of nanosilica fertilizer concentrations on the growth and yield of the red rice variety Inpari-24 gabusan showed no significant difference in growth and yield, except for plant height, number of tillers, and percentage of filled grain.

Abstract

Dampak kerusakan lingkungan yang diakibatkan oleh aktivitas pertambangan khususnya pertambangan nikel memang masih menjadi problem bersama. Belum adanya kesadaran bersama untuk menjaga lingkungan agar tetap seimbang dari berbagai pihak yakni perusahaan yang melakukan produksi pertambangan, pemerintah sebagai regulator kebijakan, dan masyarakat sebagai pihak yang terdampak kerusakan lingkungan dan masalah kesehatan masyarakat akibat kegiatan produksi pertambangan. Oleh karena itu Tim Dosen Pelaksana Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat yang berasal dari spesifikasi 2 bidang keilmuan yaitu K3 (Keselamatan dan Kesehatan Kerja) dan Kesehatan Lingkungan, telah melakukan kegiatan Sosialisasi kepada Masyarakat. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat adalah membagikan leaflet kepada masyarakat sekaligus melakukan sosialisasi, dan diskusi untuk meningkatkan pemahaman tentang dampak lingkungan dan penyakit akibat logam berat. Leaflet yang diberikan dikemas secara sistematis sehingga menarik dan mudah dimengerti oleh masyarakat. Masyarakat sangat tertarik dengan materi yang diberikan dan beberapa diantaranya mengajukan pertanyaan terkait solusi yang diterapkan untuk mencegah serta menanggulangi dampak lingkungan dan penyakit akibat logam berat. Diskusi terjadi antara masyarakat yang mengajukan pertanyaan dan pelaksana kegiatan pengabdian.

Abstract

The lack of greenery and the large amount of vacant land in Wanaraja Village has caused a lot of problems faced by the local community, one of the problems faced is the problem of flooding. According to data released from the Wanaraja Village government that floods often occur in the rainy season from Sukamenak Village to Wanaraja Village RW.08 which of course these floods will greatly disrupt the lives of the surrounding community both in terms of damage to houses and the contents of goods or other public infrastructure . This tree planting work program aims to help withstand water pressure due to heavy rains besides that this work program can prevent soil erosion so as to prevent floods or landslides. The results achieved are that the environment of Wanaraja Village will become more well-maintained. Besides that, it is hoped that tree planting can prevent disasters such as floods or landslides that have occurred before.

Abstract

Di pekerjaan es krim luuca ini masih banyak pekerjaan yang dilakukan secara manual, sehingga para pekerja sering melakukan pekerjaan dengan postur tubuh yang keliru atau tidak ergonomis seperti, membungkuk, jongkok, dan berlutut. Jenis penelitian yang akan dilakukan adalah penelitian observasional dengan metode kualitatif yang dilakukan untuk mengetahui gambaran mengenai risiko Musculoskeletal Disorders (MSDs) pada pekerja adonan es krim di Pentacity Balikpapan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tingkat risiko postur kerja yang dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode Rapid Entire Body Assesment (REBA) dengan menilai postur tubuh pekerja di Luuca Pentacity Balikpapan yang berjumlah 5 pekerja, dan hasil dari 3 pekerja pada proses pengangkatan adonan es krim memiliki tingkat risiko tinggi dan 2 pekerja memiliki tingkat risiko yang sangat tinggi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang dilakukan terhadap 5 pekerja yang bekerja pada. Luuca Pentacity Balikpapan menunjukkan bahwa 5 pekerja pada proses pengangkatan adonan es krim (100%) mengalami keluhan MSDs dengan tingkat keluhan tinggi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tingkat risiko postur kerja pekerja menggunakan metode Rapid Entire Body Assesment (REBA), pada proses pengangkatan adonan es krim 3 pekerja berada pada level tingkat risiko tinggi dan 2 pekerja berada di level sangat tinggi. Tindakan risiko ini dipengaruhi oleh sikap kerja yang tidak alamiah dan fasilitas kerja yang kurang memadai. Berdasarkan hasil penilaian tingkat keluhan Musculoskeletal Disorders (MSDs) dengan menggunakan kuisioner Nordic Body Map (NBM) dengan tingkat rasa sakit yang dirasakan pada 28 titik tubuh. Diketahui keluhan terbanyak yang dirasakan pekerja ada pada bagian tengkuk atas, pinggang, pinggung sebanyak 5 pekerja.

Abstract

This research is used to answer two problem formulations. First, what is the human rights approach to overcoming the dangers of mining in Indonesia. Second, how is law enforcement against the negative impacts of mining in Indonesia. The research method used in normative juridical research. The data used is secondary data by examining primary legal materials in the form of statutory regulations related to this issue and secondary legal materials in the form of articles or scientific papers, as well as tertiary legal materials. This research was analyzed using qualitative descriptive analysis after the data was obtained. The results of this research focus on two conclusions. The state is primarily obligated to protect and respect human rights as the fundamental rights of every individual. International legal instruments such as the ICCPR, UDHR, and CAT regulate state obligations regarding human rights, while at the national level, they are regulated in statutory regulations. As a legal state, Indonesia is also obliged to protect human rights, including the right to live in prosperity, a good and healthy environment, and health services. Mining is an activity that has a direct impact on the environment. Although the mining sector contributes to state income and employment, it is often associated with problems of environmental degradation. Administrative sanctions that can be imposed for violations in mining include written warnings, fines, temporary suspension of activities, and revocation of permits. The Minerba Law also regulates criminal sanctions, including imprisonment and fines.

Abstract

Background: Mining activities in Amonggedo sub-district have an impact on public health and environmental conditions, including data on the 10 highest diseases in the Amonggedo Health Center work area after the presence of mining activities showing 2 types of diseases due to metal distribution that have continued to increase in the last 3 years, namely Skin Disease and Underground Tissue. Methods: The study was conducted with the Mix Method, namely descriptive analysis with water and metal quality checks carried out at the Health Laboratory of Southeast Sulawesi province and Cross Sectional research was carried out on the people of Amonggedo District, Konawe Regency. Results: The results showed that the knowledge variable obtained the value of X2 calculated > X2 table (25.235 > 3.841) which means that there is a relationship between knowledge and the incidence of dermatitis in the Working Area of the Amonggedo Health Center, Amonggedo District, Konawe Regency. Conclusions: Metal content in dominant soil elements exceeds the threshold value both at the inlet and outlet, namely Ni, Fe, Mg, Al, Si, Ca, Cr, Metal content in some elements exceeds the threshold value both at the inlet and outlet, namely TSS, Fe, Ni, Co, Pb, There is a moderate relationship between knowledge and the incidence of dermatitis in the Working Area of the Amonggedo Health Center, Amonggedo District, Konawe Regency.

Abstract

Keselamatan kimia adalah sebuah upaya dalam menciptakan kondisi aman dari pada bahaya dan resiko bahan kimia berbahaya keselamatan ini meliputi pengunaan bahan kimia sifat bahan kimia dan penyimpanan bahan kimia untuk tujuan mengetahui bahaya fisik kesehatan maupun lingkungan sehingga dapat mengambil perlindungan dan pencegahan dari bahaya kimia dengan menerapkan pengendalian administrasi, dan pengunaan alat pelindung diri. PT. Feedback Infra Balikpapan yang berada di kota balikpapan provinsi kalimantan timur adalah perusahaan yang bergerak di bidang kontraktor jasa industri pembangkit listrik tenaga uap (PLTU). PT. Feedback Infra Balikpapan mengoperasikan unit pengelolahan air boiler tempat dimana bahan kimia amonia (NH3) diimplementasikan dan disimpan. Pada area implementasi amonia (NH3) ada pada laboratorium uji dan doshing injeksi kimia lalu untuk penyimpanan amonia (NH3) ada pada gudang penyimpanan kimia. Pada penelitian ini peneliti membahas mengenai implementasi dan penyimpanan bahan kimia amonia (NH3) di pengelolahan air boiler PT. Feedback Infra Balikpapan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dimana peneliti menggunakan lembar checklist mengenai kesesuaian implementasi dan penyimpanan bahan kimia amonia (NH3) dan pedoman wawancara untuk melakukan wawancara terhadap informan yang bertannggung jawab mengenai implementasi dan penyimpanan bahan kimia amonia (NH3). Dari hasil penelitian ditemukan bahwa kesesuaian untuk implementasi bahan kimia amonia (NH3) di laboratorium uji 50%, kesesuaian untuk penyimpanan bahan kimia amonia (NH3) di gudang penyimpanan kimia 66% kesesuaian untuk implementasi bahan kimia amonia (NH3) di doshing injeksi kimia 66% dengan total kesesuaian implementasi dan penyimpanan bahan kimia amonia (NH3) di pengelolahan air boiler PT. Feedback Infra sebesar 66% dengan kategori “cukup’.
