Abstract

In the context of Islamic religious education, there are some that are vertical and some that are horizontal. The creation of a vertical religious atmosphere can be realized in worship activities. Meanwhile, the creation of a horizontal religious atmosphere places the school as a social institution, which, when viewed from the structure of the relationship between humans, can be classified. The form of business carried out by schools in improving the religious attitudes of students is to carry out Islamic activities. This research method uses literature review research. The research method is literature review or literature study, which contains theories relevant to research problems. The instrument used is descriptive analysis. Based on the findings of the analysis from the literature review, the author will review this paper in the form of an article with a detailed discussion of the Implementation of High School Students' Religious Development. Implementation of the diversity of high school students is an effort carried out systematically in the form of guidance, providing information, supervision and also control to improve the quality of students, especially in terms of religion in creating mental attitudes and developing positive potential so that there is good diversity in students.

Abstract

This study investigates the role of gadgets in enhancing learning motivation and improving academic outcomes among junior high school students. Employing a mixed-methods approach, quantitative data from surveys and qualitative insights from interviews were analyzed to explore students’ experiences when incorporating digital devices into their learning processes. The findings indicate that effective integration of gadgets in classroom settings significantly bolsters students’ learning motivation, which in turn mediates higher academic achievement. Furthermore, mobile learning readiness, especially in science subjects, facilitates access to interactive digital content that increases student engagement and positively impacts learning outcome. The study underscores the critical role of educators in guiding technology use to maximize its benefits, and it advocates for a strategic implementation of digital tools to enhance contemporary educational practices.

Abstract

This study explores the implementation of cost-free education policies in Islamic secondary schools, with a focus on how such policies contribute to the pursuit of quality education. Rooted in the national initiative to improve educational access and equity, the research specifically examines the management of School Operational Assistance (Bantuan Operasional Sekolah/ BOS) funds in a religious education setting. Using a qualitative exploratory design, data were gathered through observations, in-depth interviews, and document analysis. Findings reveal that BOS fund management is marked by participatory planning, accountable execution, and digital-based transparency. The leadership of school principals proves instrumental in aligning budget use with educational priorities and stakeholder engagement. Despite limited funding, these mechanisms have led to notable improvements in educational service delivery. The study contributes to the discourse on educational policy by highlighting the role of governance and community involvement in maximizing the impact of cost-free education initiatives. Penelitian ini mengeksplorasi implementasi kebijakan pendidikan tanpa biaya pada jenjang pendidikan menengah Islam, dengan fokus pada kontribusi kebijakan tersebut terhadap peningkatan mutu pendidikan. Kebijakan ini merupakan bagian dari inisiatif nasional untuk memperluas akses dan pemerataan pendidikan, yang dalam konteks ini dikaji melalui pengelolaan dana Bantuan Operasional Sekolah (BOS) di lingkungan pendidikan keagamaan. Dengan menggunakan desain eksploratif kualitatif, data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara mendalam, dan studi dokumentasi. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa pengelolaan dana BOS dilakukan melalui perencanaan partisipatif, pelaksanaan yang akuntabel, dan transparansi berbasis digital. Kepemimpinan kepala madrasah memainkan peran kunci dalam menyelaraskan penggunaan anggaran dengan prioritas pendidikan serta membangun keterlibatan para pemangku kepentingan. Meskipun dana terbatas, mekanisme ini terbukti mampu meningkatkan kualitas layanan pendidikan. Studi ini memberikan kontribusi pada wacana kebijakan pendidikan dengan menekankan pentingnya tata kelola dan partisipasi masyarakat dalam mengoptimalkan dampak dari kebijakan pendidikan tanpa biaya.

Abstract

The advancement of digital technology has significantly influenced students’ lifestyles, particularly the increasing intensity of online gaming. For students in the Islamic Education (PAI) Program at University Muhammadiyah Bandung, who are expected to exemplify Islamic value, the habit of playing online games may affect religious discipline, time management, and spiritual awareness. This study aims to determine: (1) the level of online gaming intensity; (2) the level of Islamic values implementation; and (3) the influence of online gaming intensity on the implementation of Islamic values among students in the Islamic Education. This research employed a quantitative descriptive approach with a sample 80 students selected through simple random sampling. Data collection techniques included observation, questionnaires, and documentation, while data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, simple linear regression, and the coefficient of determination. The result showed that both online gaming intensity (82%) and the implementation of Islamic values (84%) were categorized as high. Regression analysis indicated a significant influence of gaming intensity on the implementation of Islamic values (Sig. 0,017 < 0,05), with an effect size 7%. These findings emphasize the importance of self-regulation, time management, and continuous Islamic character development to ensure that digital engagement does not undermine students’ religious commitment.

Abstract

The SEHAT (Effective Socialization to Avoid Illegal Drugs) program is carried out at SMPN 1 Cimalaka with the aim of increasing students' knowledge and awareness of the dangers of narcotics, psychotropics, and other addictive substances (NARCO). This study uses an extension method with a community education approach, involving 60 students as respondents. Activities include a pre-test to measure initial understanding, socialization of material regarding drug classification, packaging symbols, the impact of abuse, and legal aspects, and ended with a post-test to evaluate effectiveness. The results showed a significant increase in knowledge, with the average post-test score increasing by 44.9% compared to the pre-test. In addition, students show enthusiasm and active participation during socialization. These findings show that the SEHAT program is effective in increasing students' understanding and awareness of the dangers of drug abuse from an early age.

Abstract

Indonesia Emas 2045 menjadi cita-cita besar bangsa Indonesia. Melalui menteri pendidikan dasar dan menengah mengeluarkan gerakann Tujuh Kebiasaan Anak Indonesia Hebat sebagai upaya mencapai cita-cita besar bangsa dalam aspek pendidikan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi kebijakan tersebut melalui studi persepsi guru dan orang tua siswa. Metode penelitian menggunakan studi kualitatif deskriptif. Data yang digunakan ialah primer dan sekunder. Pengumpulan data dengan teknik wawancara terbuka melalui google form dengan responden penelitian adalah guru-guru di wilayah kecamatan Ciawi Kabupaten Bogor dengan jumlah 91 orang. Analisis data menggunakan model dari Miles dan Huberman dengan tahapan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan empat tema utama yaitu pertama pemahaman guru dan orang tua terhadap kebijakan yang diterapkan. Kedua, strategi yang digunakan oleh guru dan orang tua dalam menerapkan kebijakan di lingkungan pendidikan, baik dalam pembelajaran di sekolah maupun bimbingan di rumah. Ketiga, peluang yang dapat dimanfaatkan oleh guru dan orang tua dalam mendukung keberhasilan penerapan kebijakan. Keempat, tantangan yang dihadapi dalam proses penerapan kebijakan dari sudut pandang guru dan orang tua.

Abstract

This study evaluates soil bearing capacity in North Barito Regency using the Dynamic Cone Penetrometer (DCP) test. The objective is to analyze the relationship between penetration depth, number of blows (N-blows), and soil bearing capacity (Qall) across various locations, including Tumpung Laung, Muara Teweh, and Muara Laung villages. Testing was conducted up to a depth of 100 cm with data intervals every 10 cm. Results show a decrease in soil bearing capacity at specific depths, particularly in the shallow layer (0–20 cm), which is soft and less stable. Conversely, the middle layer (20–50 cm) and deeper layers (>50 cm) exhibit significantly higher bearing capacity, making them suitable for supporting heavy structures. Regression analysis revealed a strong relationship between depth, N-blows, and Qall, with coefficients of determination (R²) nearing or equal to 1 in most locations. Based on these findings, shallow foundations are recommended for light structures in middle layers, while deep foundations are necessary for heavy structures or locations with more variable soil characteristics, such as DCP 22. Soil improvement in shallow layers, such as re-compaction or geotextile usage, is strongly advised to enhance stability. This study highlights the importance of DCP testing in evaluating soil strength to support efficient and reliable foundation design. The findings are relevant for planning foundations, roadworks, and other infrastructure applications, particularly in areas with significant soil variability.

Abstract

This study investigates the relationship between depth, number of blows (N-Blows), and soil bearing capacity (Qall) using the Dynamic Cone Penetrometer (DCP) test at various locations in Murung Raya Regency, Central Kalimantan. Eight test sites were analyzed: DCP 06 and 07 in Muara Laung 2, DCP 08 and 09 in Batu Bua, DCP 10 and 11 in Mangkahui, and DCP 12 and 13 in Muara Bakanon. The study aimed to generate vital soil characteristic data to support safe and efficient foundation designs. Field testing involved recording N-Blows at specific depths and calculating Qall values, followed by linear regression analysis to evaluate relationships among these variables. Most locations demonstrated a strong correlation, with R² values exceeding 0.99. For instance, DCP 06, 07, and 10 recorded R² values of 0.998, 0.999, and 0.998, respectively, indicating highly reliable models. The highest accuracy was found at DCP 12 (R² = 1.000), while DCP 09 showed a lower R² value of 0.859, indicating potential variability in soil properties or external influences. Data visualization highlighted increasing trends in Qall and N-Blows with depth, reflecting stronger soil layers at greater depths. Design recommendations include shallow foundations for sites like DCP 06 and 07 (20–60 cm depth), while deep foundations are advised for DCP 09 and 13 to bypass weak upper layers. This research enhances understanding of soil behavior in Murung Raya, offering a robust framework for foundation planning and encouraging supplementary testing methods like the Standard Penetration Test (SPT) to refine findings further.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the role of Islamic Education (PAI) teachers in increasing students' motivation to learn Arabic at SMA Al Chasanah, West Jakarta. The research is based on the low student interest in Arabic, often due to perceptions of the subject being difficult and less relevant, and the lack of engaging teaching approaches. This is a qualitative study using a descriptive narrative method. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation involving PAI teachers and students. Findings reveal that PAI teachers play a significant role as motivators and facilitators. They not only deliver content but also instill religious values and a love for the Arabic language through spiritual and contextual approaches. Strategies include integrating Arabic into religious activities, using engaging media, and providing exemplary behavior. The study concludes that PAI teachers have a strategic role in fostering a religious and supportive learning environment, which effectively boosts students’ motivation to study Arabic.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the role of single parents in the family to provide for, nurture and educate, and still try to teach Islamic values such as Mrs. Sumirah understands that a child is a gift from God, and describes the challenges and support she faces in her role as a single parent. Results of the study: Despite being busy taking care of her two children, Mrs. Sumirah continues to teach lessons in raising her children, especially Cecep who is healthy, teaches how to do ablution, prays as well as manners, and does not forget that she always reminds Cecep to respect and love Ahmad, his older brother. crippled since infancy. To test the validity of this research data, the researchers used triangulation. The research technique used is interview, observation, documentation. While the analysis of research data includes data reduction, data presentation, drawing conclusions. Based on the results of the research, it can be concluded: a wife whose husband has died remains tough, patient, and earns a living, is able to imitate the behavior of Mrs. Sumirah, no matter how busy she is, she still has time to instill Islamic values in her children, and the results of this study can be the best solution for another single parent.
