Abstract

Abstract: This research is intended to answer the questions: 1. What is the exemplary role of the Kyai at the Darul Falah 5 Cukir Jombang Islamic Boarding School 2. What is the role of the Kyai in forming the tawadhu' attitude of students at the Darul Falah 5 Cukir Jombang Islamic Boarding School 3. What are the supporting and inhibiting factors for the Kyai's role in forming the tawadlu' attitude of students at the Darul Falah 5 Cukir Jombang Islamic Boarding School. This research is qualitative field research which is descriptive qualitative in nature. Data collection techniques in this research used observation, interviews, documentation and triangulation techniques. Then analyzed using qualitative descriptive analysis. The results of this research show that the role of the kyai at the Darul Falah 5 Islamic Boarding School has a big influence on the attitudes, personality and spirit of the students. There are also many kyai attitudes that can be emulated by the students, including always being kind to others, always respecting everyone around them, being humble, never showing their strengths to others and other things that should be exemplary for the students and applied in everyday life. This is one of the best ways to instill an attitude of tawadhu' for students. Not only that, by teaching the importance of implementing good manners such as respecting elders and respecting younger ones in order to maintain harmony both with kyai and students in Islamic boarding schools and parents at home. In the Darul Falah Islamic Boarding School, the 5 most important things that need to be considered so that students have an attitude of tawadhu' are istiqomahan in carrying out sunnah and obligatory worship. Because if the students are used to worship, the attitude of tawadhu' can easily be formed in every student at the Islamic Boarding School.

Abstract

Education is an instrument in cultivating the value of tolerance. The focus of this research is Living value in the life of Pondok Pesantren Salaf Tarbiyatun Nasyi'in Paculgowang. This type of research uses a descriptive qualitative approach. Data collection from this study contains data quotations to provide an overview of the presentation of the report. Data comes from, field notes, interview manuscripts, photos, personal documents, etc. The results of the observations show that the planting of pesantren living values ​​is carried out in 3 stages, namely Aqidah, worship, and morals.

Abstract

The prophetic leadership model is a leadership modelthat is rarely studied. This leadership model is very suitable to beapplied in various situations. Generally, the leadership modelprioritizes scientific and experiential aspects only. Meanwhile,this prophetic leadership model requires a leader not only tohave scientific and practical abilities but also to have a strongfaith or spirituality. This prophetic leadership is more attached tothe uswah of the leader as the principal of the school, its abilitywhich is driven from the aspects of high conscience and logic (intellectual intelligence) makes it easy for leaders to achievesuccess because what is dynamized is truth and intelligence.Such a leader's attitude makes motivation and inspiration forsubordinates in shaping their character, including students inschool. Based on the identification of the problems above, theresearcher wants to answer the focus of the research question,namely, how is prophetic leadership in fostering the character ofstudents in school? The method of this research was carried outby library research (library research) as part of the qualitativeresearch design. While data collection is carried out byresearchers by collecting information that is relevant to theresearch context. This information can be obtained byresearchers through books, scientific papers, and journals.

Abstract

Abstract: The Contextual Teaching and Learning model is a learning concept that encourages teachers to make connections between the material being taught and students' real world situations. And also encourage students to make connections between the knowledge they have and its application in their own lives. The focus of the problem in this research are: (1) How is the Implementation of Contextual Teaching and Learning Model in Fiqh learning at MTs Salafiyah Syafi'iyah Seblak?, (2) What are the inhibiting and supporting faktors for Implementation of Contextual Teaching and Learning Model in Fiqh learning at MTs Salafiyah Shafi'iyah Seblak? In this thesis research uses field qualitative research, while the approach uses case studies, data collection techniques use observation, interviews, and documentation. (1) the implementation of the Contextual Teaching and Learning Model in learning fiqh at MTs Salafiyah Syafi'iyah Seblak, learning that is implemented with what is in nature is then used in learning as in class 1 chapter Thaharahanak was told to look for tools that can be used for purification. then the teacher also assigned his students to bring various kinds of water such as degan water, colored water and so on so that they could distinguish between types of water that were clean, muthahir, pure water, ghoiru muthahir, and muthlak water. to be eaten with halal food in grade 3 about hiwalah or turning debt so that children bring tools or necessities in that chapter will be evaluated later. (2) The inhibiting and supporting faktors for implementing the Contextual Teaching and Learning Model in learning fiqh at MTs Salafiyah Syafi'iyah Seblak there are several supporting faktors such as the availability of facilities or infrastructure, for example, mosques and projectors. The inhibiting faktor at MTs Salafiyah Safiiyah Seblak takes turns using school facilities and sometimes errors occur in the media used in learning, children pay less attention when explained, do not focus when learning in class.

Abstract

Abstract: The teacher as an educator is responsible for shaping the personality of students. He is a role model in every activity, both in educational institutions and in society in everyday life. Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers not only teach religious material but are expected to be able to set an example, especially humility. In this study, it will examine efforts to form students' humble attitudes through the example of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers. The qualitative method is a way of describing the role of the Islamic Religious Education teacher as uswah (example) and several factors that support or hinder the teacher as uswah (exemplar) in the attitude of tawadhu' in their students. Because PAI teachers have an important role in their daily lives, including as community leaders, ustadz, teachers, religious leaders, and clerics, they are not enough to teach Islamic religious knowledge to educational institutions, but practice and spread Islamic teachings in people's lives.

Abstract

The Tarbiyatunnasyiin Islamic boarding school is one of the Salaf Islamic boarding schools that really pays attention to the personality traits of its students. Character formation is built by bringing to life the cultural values of Salaf (traditional) Islamicboarding schools. For example, by teaching the basics of faith which are learned through Salaf books such as the books Kifayatul 'Awam and Aqidatul 'Awam, habitual worship activities which can be obtained through congregational prayers, reciting the Koran and murojaah, as well as upholding morals. The focus of this research is 1) How is the Character Education of Santri at the Tarbiyatunnasyiin Pacul Gowang Jombang Islamic Boarding School? 2) What is the Salaf Islamic Boarding School Culture like at theTarbiyatunnasyiin Pacul Gowang Jombang Islamic Boarding School? 3) What is the role of Kyai in shaping the character of students through Salaf Islamic boarding school culture at the Tarbiyatunnasyiin Pacul Gowang Jombang Islamic boarding school? The research in this thesis uses a qualitative approach method. The type of research used in this research is case study research. Data collection techniques are observation, interviews, documentation and triangulation. The results of the research are as follows: 1) The character education of students at the Tarbiyatunnasyiin Islamic boarding school is formed, one of the ways, by the presence of figures or role models and also formed by the existence of rules or regulations. 2) The Salaf culture at the Tarbiyatunnasyiin Islamic boarding school has two sides, namely first from the side of life or activity conditions which are still very traditional which are farfrom luxurious and modern, and second from the learning method or system which still uses and even emphasizes the Salaf method, namely sorogan., bandongan, memorization and deliberation. 3) The role of kyai in educating the character of students through Salaf culture at the Tarbiyatunnasyiin Islamic boarding school cannot be separated from the existence of role models, namely the elders of the Islamic boarding school. The elders used to shape the character of their students not only by teaching knowledge from certain books, but also by providing guidance and becoming role models for their students.

Abstract

Abstract: Character building is a crucial part of students’ personality development and should be the main focus in the education system. In this case, Aqidah Akhlak teachers play a crucial role because they are tasked with guiding and practicing Islamic values to students. This study aims to identify: 1) the challenges faced by Aqidah Akhlak teachers at MASS Tebuireng Jombang, 2) the character of students at the madrasah, and 3) the obstacles faced by teachers in creating student character. The study was conducted using a qualitative method with a case study approach. Data collection techniques included observation, interviews, and documentation. Informants consisted of the principal, Aqidah Akhlak teachers, and students. Data analysis was carried out through source triangulation to ensure the validity of the information. The results of the study showed that teachers face various challenges, such as the influence of a less supportive social environment, differences in intelligence levels between students, and limitations in implementing interesting and innovative learning methods. Nevertheless, teachers continue to strive to develop more creative learning approaches and build good communication with students in order to instill Islamic values. To support the success of character education, a more structured strategy and cooperation from all parties involved are needed.
